Travelog for: leo the king

hello, i hope i can start my journey around the world very soon.

hi, here are two pictures where i go to sleep for the last night before my vacation starts. On the second picture i'll be ready for start and waiting for departure.

I'm looking forward to meet new people and new places, but i will miss my friend the golden dog, that is shown of another pic above.

I will update my travelog as soon as i can.

Hey momeyyyy raaawr

Today i arrived at CookieS Home
The jorney was not so long as i thought! there are just ~914 km between the places!

Cookie welcomed me very friendly with a hug


But ther was not only Cookie.
There were Krümelchen, Vogelgrippevogel and Cookie too!
and here are so much mor toys! especially sheep!


I just wanted to tell you, that i am fine!
Tomorrow we will visit vienna. Its so exciting!!!

mam..i know its very late.
but my host family watched such an interesting documentation..
Hostmam made me a papermark. so everyone can give me back if i get lost



and guess what? i learned a bit latin!
because maggi had to do some exercises she teached me some words and grammar...but you have to know...it was sooo exhausting


Now i have to go to bed!
tomorrow is my first day in VIENNA!!!!

It's me! THE LION KIING

Today it was my first day in vienna.
The city is very beautiful.

In the morning, we had to go to the train through a romantic way
here you can see me on a bridge


We took the train and the metro to Karlsplatz


the first sight that i saw was the Paulanerkirche (Paulanercurch)


after a 5minute walk there were the Karlskirche (Karlschurch)

In vienna there are some beautiful flower islands who are very colourful

then we took the next metro to wien Hütteldorf

By the way, these are the routs through vienna

and look, i had my own seat!

when we were in hütteldorf we waited for the Bus
this is the station through a dirty bus window

Today I visited the 1.,4.,6.,7.and 14. district

we visited a book store

and look what i found! a book with a LIONKIIIIIIIING

to dinner we were in an italic restaurant
so much things to eat...couldn't choose

On the way home i go by car..

and it was the first time that i saw a austrian filling station!


Now i am soooo tired that i fall asleep.

Good morning!

Yesterday it was my seound day in Vienna
I visited the Musikverein!
there are many concerts


And this is the Underground station Karlsplatz. it is an Otto Wagner Pavillion!

than we go for a walk



today we have to pack our cases because tomorrow the tour to Ramsau will start!

Today we arrived in Ramsau!

It was sunny and the weather was very good

I get tired...so my hostmum took me in her bag

We also swam !

It was a beautiful first day!

Yesterday the weather wasn't so good
But we made a tramp.
i took a seat in my hostmums bag with CookieS

We made the Sattelbergrundwanderung (Round tour round the Sattelberg)

Look it was very foggy


we toured threw a wood!

After this we visited the sauna and had a very nice evening!

Mommy it is so exciting here!

We traveled to the Dachstein on tuesday.
The drive wasn't as funny as i thought because we drove many narrow bends and we could only stand in the bus.
Then when we were at the valley station from the Dachstein aerial railway.
it was a fantastic view on the Dachstein

On the top there sat daws.

we made a hike threw the glacier and snow





we also saw a fake vulcano

we built a snowman

It was a big frustration when we went on the skywalk to see the other mountains and a big view becaus the weather was changing abrupt into raining and foggy
we had now view

So our group take the aerial railway down. suddenly there were some shafts of sunlight. so we took some pictures




At the evening we swam in the indoor swimmingpool from our hotel and went to the saunas!
It was beautiful at all

Yesterday we went on a loop road on the top of the Kulmberg
It was sunny so it was very nice to go threw woods and lawns.
we found some shrooms

and even chanterelles

when our hostmum was looking for some more we (CookieS) climbed on a tree to have a better view over the wood




on the first section we found a half bag full

but at the end it was full of shrooms!
There were also many bush full of blueberrys


When we came back to Kulm we visited the beautiful Church



The cook from our hotel made a good dish with our chanterelles!

today the weather is really bad..
We are just sitting in the room and playing cards.
Now we will go in the sauna and the indoor swimming pool!
I am looking forward to the new hotel tomorrow.
i hope the weather will be better the next days and there will be more pictures.

I am sorry for no photos today.

I know..10 days without an update from me...
after the 12th of july the weather didn't get better...it was rainy so we couldn't made anything...on friday we had to leave our first hotel "Berghof" but we met the Boss of another hotel on thursday for a caffee and decidet to live at this place!
Hostmum and her family are regular guests there.

our room was big

and the view would have been good as well if there was no fog...


in the evening the rain stops and hostmum and her mum decided to look for mushrooms..but there weren't as much as they thought

beacaus hostmum couldn't find mushrooms at first she collected blueberrys

we got potato-mushroom soup on the next day and i got a joghurt with the blueberrys this dinner.


Saturday
On saturday my hostmum was riding a horse through the alps. sadly she couldn't take pictures of me..but we saw the Halseralm!
It was beautiful to sit on the back of such a big animal. but at the end it began to rain very heavy....

Sunday
You know what?

it was rainy....
till 4 pm.....then we decided to walk over the "kulmberg"......didnt want to take mushrooms or something but at the end...we found 4 1/2 kg ((9,92pounds)!!!!!!!) chanterelles.
we got chanterelles with creamsauce and bread dumpling....it tastet sooooo well!!!!

Monday

Guess what???
the weather... is.....FINE!
we went to the Dachsteinsüdwandhütte and from there we go to the "Maralm"


then we hiked to the "Glößalm"

need 3 hours for that way.and ate a curdstrudel with vanillasauce... mmmmh yummy...

Tuesday
Today there is also no rain.
Stand up at 7 am to get in the bus at 8 am...
Bus drove to "Reiteralm" and we mad the round trail to the "Spiegelseen"
we saw many lakes for snow in the winter

and had a nice view today


The first aim was the top of the first mountain called "Gasselhöh" on 2001 meter


Cookies and I wrot in the summit register

after climbing many stones and rocks
we came to the first "Spiegelsee"

We came back to "Reiteralm" and there we ate a bananasplit and drank a bananamilk.
the mushrooms for dinner were very ample....

Wednesday
The weather get better. There is more and more sun!
We hiked to the "Riesachwasserfällen" (Riesachwaterfalls)

There were many stairs..that was bad for hostmums bad knee..we took much time but we got the flume.

There we walked along the biggest alplake..


Thursday

Today it is the last day 
It would be so nice if we could stay longer...
we went the most difficult trip  of our stay here in Ramsau.
From the Dachstein valley station to the Dachsteinsüdwandhütte over the pass of the tor in the "Bachlalm"


Today there is only sun and a few clouds. We had such a great view over the mountains.
I saw a mountain in Bayern from here!
It was difficult to go because most of the way were little stones medium stones and rocks..we slipped very much..Then we had the most exhausting 200 meters of our live because it was soo steep. but we got it!


The way did us and we did the way...

Friday
Get up at 7 o clock..get in the car after a quick breakfast...drove to Leoben..The sister of my hostmum gave a conduckt through the firm were she works.it is called AT&S
No pictures allowed....
then we ate running sushi! it was good but i ate too much...

Saturday

Went to a familyparty of my hostmum..ate cake.drank coffee.repaired the computer of her grandma..

Sunday
Today it is just a lazy day...Hostmum can't go very well so she stays at home.
Yesterday Marshmallow came to us! maybe we will do something exciting today!
