Hi Mom, I'm sending photos to let you know I have arrived in San Francisco.  Guess what, in the same mail, Suomi-Boy and BarryO arrived!  So here we are.    Then we met our host, Du-Du, his friend, POD-not, Squab, and Konrad.  Will tell you more about our arrival when we get settled,

I went into the boys' bedroom to wake them up with  music. I chose the banjo because it is associated with American folk music.  I am the only girl here and they are all in love with me.  

I set up a breakfast party and shared the chocolate I  brought from Australia.  Then we looked at the postcards BarryO, Suomi-Boy and I brought with us, and the pen mmm_105 sent from Finland; it has it's own ToyVoyager bear attached, so special.

I planned our itinerary to reflect my love for music.  Will show you where we went next time.

"All the world's a stage...."

Howdy Sports Fans!

We went out on the roof to see if we can catch sight of Jeremy sailing back from Europe.  It's too soon but we're practicing.

These funny-looking boats are 45-foot catamarans racing in the America's Cup World Series.  There are teams here from Great Britain, France, Sweden, New Zealand, Italy, U.S.A. , South Korea, and China.

Be sure to check out the videos to see a U.S. boat crash into the Race committee boat and the China boat tipping over with the crew hanging on and/or falling into the water.

Sunday the sun came out for the final day of the America's Cup World Series Racing.  We settled in on our own private viewing bench away from the crowds and then walked along shore to get a look at the races and took a couple of zooms.  The U.S. team (marked Oracle) came in second to Italy (the Prada boat) in the last race but had enough points to win the series. Yeah!!

 We didn't see any sign of Jeremy yet.  Still too early.  Hope he's having fun.

A package arrived!  It was DuDette's souvenirs from her visit to MA-17 and Alex's house.  Hehe, it was addressed for DuDu.  He got so excited.  There was a postcard from his DuDette just for him and her mom; a menu from an Italian restaurant where she had her last meal in Berlin; an Easter egg, oh, has she been gone that long?; and most special of all was a big red heart.  DuDu shared the candy with us and I played the French horn.  

Mom, all the guys here (except DuDu and C.T. Mouse) are still in love with me.  I may have to tell them I'm a Happy Wanderer.

We went out today and saw one of the sights.

Tree climbing!!  Up on a hill, we found a nice
viewing spot to see a white spot fly over.  Wow!! 

I woke up the guys with my singing and then led them into the Little Theater where I'm practicing for a special performance.

They were mesmerized by my Wurlitzer organ playing. Then I practiced some magic tricks. He he, a playing card landed in BarryO's hat.  Of course, he volunteered to go up on stage to assist.  I asked him to step into a big box, then put a lid on it, said "abracadabra"; and, poof, BarryO disappeared.

I'll send more photos, Mom, after I re-read the magic instructions.

On stage!!

Phew!!  I found the secret incantation to get my ToyVoyager guys to re-appear and they landed back in their beds.  I played some music for them, then gave them aspirin and herbal tea.  We are friends again.  

The white spot we saw in the sky on 21 September was the space shuttle Endeavour flying piggyback on a 727, on its way to retire at a museum in Los Angeles.  We try to be mysterious because Squab and his brother, Alex Kitty, like to play guessing games. Yesterday, we took a walk at Pier 39 and saw the Sea Lions.

BarryO took Suomi-boy and me out to see two of the well-known sights.  Do you know them, Mom?  The other guys stayed in to prepare the TV room for a football game.  Again?   

Next time we all will go to a place where you are more likely to see volunteer gardeners than tourists.

Oh, Mom. I am having so much fun. There is music everywhere.

We went out onto a jetty to check out a musical geocache to an artwork called The Wave Organ.  Pipes were placed in the water to catch the music of the waves.  We got there at high tide and could hear the waves lapping on the rocks but heard nothing through the pipes until we sat still for awhile. It just sounded like gulps.   The fog horns were more musical, I thought; but this is a very good spot to "sit by the dock of the bay," geocache and have a picnic.

We think that big crane on a barge was scooping up sand to keep the channel to the Yacht Harbor clear.  Nope, I don't want that job and I'm not gonna join Squab in his career as a Park Ranger with a surf board on my truck.    I'm sticking to my dream of living my life on stage; broadway maybe.  Or maybe a TV series with my family.    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xilptq_barbapapa-le-secret-de-barbouille_shortfilms

This jetty must be haunted since it is made from tombstones that were moved here many many years ago when the city outlawed burials within its limits.  Yep, it is on the list.  Good thing we were not thinking about that.  We had a lot of fun.
