Hello, world!

This is me, Micky! I am a mouse, but not a mouse in a normal way. I am grey, that´s right and I am small and light weight, but that´s the only I have in common with usual mice. 

I have a big heart, loving everything connecting with speed. So I like to drive on my red Bobby car, like you see in the picture. You can´t imagine how fast I can be!

And I really LOVE yummie food! Exspecially fruits, bacon and eggs. Cheese? No, I really hate cheese!

I am also interested in learning. So my dream is to go on a college, university or something like that.

And - of course - I want to fall in love!

So, what do you think about me? Not a common mouse, I think!

Hey folks!

I just want to show you some more about me.

Although I am a very cool mouse I like some stuff like flowers. 

In spring I planted a dahlia in a pot. Then I had to wait, wait and wait....

But suddelnly there came green leaves out of the soil! And a few days later a bud. And a few more days later I saw the first bloom!!!

I like the summer!!!

Hello, world, Micky speaking! Time to say Goodbye!

I had some last intimate moments with my family and we took the chance to make a family photo: my Daddy Knabber, my Mummy Lizzy and my brother Mick.

Daddy gave me a lot of tipps about life and Mummy gave me a last kiss...
Before Mummy helped me in my envelope she showed me her heart and she said, that it beats for me, even if I am far away. I am very happy to have a family like mine! 

But now I am sooooooooooooooo excited!!!

Northern Germany, here I come!

Hello Mummy,

Oh I’m so exited I just finished my first voyage and it was a lot of fun! I don’t know where to start…

Well after I climbed into my envelope it was a bit uncomfortable and very dark after a while.
I was wondering if I should have stayed home with you…But after a while I really enjoyed all these ups and downs and all the shake around :-) I guess that’s what a rollercoaster it’s about too, hihi.

Suddenly all the shaking stopped and I just lay there. Hmm, strange! After a short time I heard a key in a lock and some people laughing and talking. They sound very nice and so I decided to climb out of my envelope! I climbed out in a nice living room and I was not alone…
As you told me, Pebbles, BammBamm and McFluffy were already waiting for me and gave me a warm welcome. It was so exiting to get to know them! They are so nice and they enjoyed all the presents I brought very much. Especially McFluffy and I immediately became good friends and I had to tell him everything about traveling.







After some talking and laughing my new hosts showed me their house and their garden.
I really like it here! The house is really beautiful and the garden is very big. There are many good smelling flowers around.







At the evening McFluffy introduced me some special friends of him, three little mice!
Unfortunately their mother got killed and Pebbles and BammBamm found a nest with four little babies inside. One of them died the next day but the other three grow up very fast and now they are ready to go back in the wild. But first I told them some rules and gave some advices how to survive as a little mouse in the big world.
Later I helped Pebbles and BammBamm bringing them into the garden! They really enjoyed their freedom :-)







Now I’m sooo tired! It was a very exiting day and I going to report about my next adventures very soon.

Hey Mummy it’s me again – Micky!!

How are you? I hope you are fine like me
I have a really wonderful time here in the north of Germany! Pebbles and BammBamm show me so many interesting things and I really fall in love with all the ships and the Baltic Sea.

Today I wanna tell you about out excursion to the next bigger city called Kiel.
About 240.000 people life in Kiel and it’s the provincial city of the federal state Schleswig-Holstein. The last years Kiel became a really famous cruise harbour and you can always see many beautiful ships around.
But let’s start in the city center!

This is the city hall of Kiel with its famous tower which is about 106 m tall. The city hall was built in 1907-1911.



Near the city hall is the opera house which is landmarked and built in 1905-1907 from the architecture Heinrich Seelig.



After this two beautiful buildings we walked on and Pebbles and BammBamm showed me the “Kleiner Kiel – small Kiel” an inland water which is nearly separated from the Kieler Förde.



Now it was time for the best coffee in Kiel. You can buy one at the “Campus Suite” right in front of the boat harbour.



Our next stop was the Nikolai church. Pebbles once got her baptism here!
The church was built in 1242 and it has a neo-gothic style.



Even though there were some rain showers there was a wedding and the bride looked very beautiful. Even Pebble’s parents got married in this church.



This is one of the traditional shipping company called Sartori & Berger.



And this is a traditional steamship built in 1905. You can rend it or do a harbour or canal tour with is.



From the west bank of the Kieler Förde you can see the big cranes of the shipyard HDW. As you can see, they’re currently building two submarines



As we walked on I suddenly saw a really really big ship! Pebbles and BammBamm explained me that it is the MSC Poesia, a big cruise liner. It’s about 294 meter long and 33 meters broad. 3.000 people can travel on board! I felt really small beside this enormous ship!







We watched the departure on the MSC Poesia with many other people. As all the “Muggels” went away we found a “Cache” as well. (Pebbles and BammBamm are passionate geocacher ) This is me with the “cach”:



As you can see it was a great day and I really enjoy my time!!

Hello Mummy!

Oh I miss you a lot but I have very much fun here in the north of Germany!
As I already told you, one of Pebbles and BammBamm’s biggest hobbies is Geocaching.
Today I went with them and we found many Caches and saw beautiful landscapes.

Of course I took some pictures and now I want to show you some of them

One of our first stops was the St. Laurentius church in Kosel. We found the Cache really quick and so we moved on…





It took only a short time and soon we arrived in Missunde.



Missunde is separated by an arm of the Baltic Sea called “Schlei”. You can cross the Schlei with a nice little ferry and so did we







After this we found the large stone grave of Missunde. It was build between 3.500 and 3.000 B.C. and was erected by the first farmers in north Europe.





The nature around Missunde is really nice. We took a walk through the fields and around a peninsula called “Knös”.







Suddenly we saw a Viking ship! That was really exiting!





This is the church of Brodersby.



Not very fast, but as you know, I love cars any kind ;-)



This was our last stop for the day! We were very successful and found 19 caches this day. It was really fund and I enjoyed Geocaching very much.

Hello Mummy!!

How are you? I’m really fine and I love the summertime right in front of the Sea!
Today I’m going to tell you something about my trip to “Laboe”.

Laboe is a Baltic Sea Spa located at the east bank of the Kiel Fjord. About 5.000 people life there and most famous are the naval memorial and the Submarine U995 which is presently a museum.

This is the harbour of Laboe








Here you can see the beach and the dunes










This is a “Schiffsslipwinde” build in 1904.




The famous submarine was really interesting!






And this is the memorial which honour the fallen of the world wars.








After all I was really hungry and we ate a delicious piece of cake and drank a Latte Macchiato :-)

Hello Hello :-)

Another sunny day and I was on tour!!
Today Pebbles and BammBamm showed me another beautiful town called “Schilksee”.
In 1972 Schilksee was scene of the Summer Olympics. The sailing events took place here and even today it’s a big sailboat marina.












I’m very exited what will happen next. I really enjoy my time here in Schleswig-Holstein :-)

Huhuu Mummy!

Oh time is running by so quickly… I see so many new things and already went through so many adventures. It’s really great to be a ToyVoyager :-)

Yesterday I went to the “Schwentinepark” it’s a little park almost like a zoo, but there are no exotic animals, only native animals. The Schwentinepark got it’s name because of the 62 km long river Schwentine.

This is me and a German heath :-)




The fallow deer was very impressive. I really love these big brown eyes…






The Galloway cow was really big! Fortunately it was just laying in the grass




These cute horses are so small! I love their soft noses. They are called Shetland pony






On the next pictures you can see me in front of the Damara goats. They are so funny and always hungry!








Now it became really smelly! The last animals were some boars and they love dirt and mud more than anything else.








Finally we took a walk along the river Schwentine. The light was very beautiful and we enjoyed this wonderful day a lot.

Hi Mummy!

Today was my last evening with Pebbles and BammBamm. We are all a little sad but also exited what will happen next in my adventure!

We celebrated a small farewell party and had a lot of fun. I’m going to show you some pictures how I prepared the dinner :-)
We ate “La Flue” and it was very delicious!!

First I had to cut the baguette in two halves




Next I put some mustard and butter onto the bread and flavoured it with salt and pepper.




To cut all the vegetable was really hard work for me!




Afterwards I put all the vegetables onto the baguette. I started with onion and mushrooms…




…salad, tomato and cukes…




And finally cheese! Oh how I hate it, but Pebbles and BammBamm loves it, so I wanted to do them a favour…

Hey Mum,

This is the last time I’m writing you from Germany! I’m on my way to America now and so exited, you won’t believe me

I was very sad to say goodbye to McFluffys brother Siggy. We became real good friends and I already miss him a lot




Even the new TV called Louis12 was sad. We just got to know each other but maybe we can write Emails or Skype…




Siggy and Louis12 were really jealous as I told them that my next stop will be in Miami! That’s so cool I showed them where Miami is located. I hope I’ll have great weather!




At least it was time for me to climb into my envelope. I hope I’ll have a nice journey.

Hi Mommy!

I arrived in Miami already!  Actually I was sitting here a week because my host was on vacation but now she's back. 

I am greeted by my new friends.



I have two German rat friends, Genoveva and Big Foot.  Fidibus is a giraffe also from Germany,and they all very much appreciate the chocolate I bring along, for a taste of home.  Little Sweetie is from Solvenia.  Mocha the moose is our resident TV and he has been to a lot of places!



So don't worry Mommy, I am in good hands!

Today my new friends take me to try some Chinese food.



We have some hand made noodles with beef, and a steamed bun.



For dessert there is some sweet bean pancakes, and some sweet tofu pudding.



It is quite delicious!

Today another box arrives!!  Hmmm, what is it?  Hello?  Anybody there?



Oh my gosh, it's a mouse like me!!  We are one big rodent family here!  While the others complain that we are causing an infestation and they need to buy some mouse trap, I think they are just being jealous, ha ha.   



His name is Mozart, after the famous composer.  But he is not from Austria.  He is from Russia.  I like him already because he is a very friendly guy and brings us lots of candies! He he he...
