By: efilbean
This morning was very exciting because it brought the arrival of Tobbi, our very first Voyager.
He is originally from Germany and I can't wait to start our adventures together!
Here we are with a lollipop that Tobbi's previous host, Snamoen put inside my envolope with me. efilbean enjoyed it very much

Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England - 7th June 2012
By: efilbean
On the first Monday of every month, efilbean and her friends host and participate in a quiz held at a coffee shop in town.
Here I am, with Tobbi checking over some of the questions that efilbean and her husband had written.
We're going on a train tomorrow and a friend's birthday barbecue on Saturday. Our fingers are crossed for some sunny weather. All we've had is rain here for the last few days.

Huddersfield / Leeds, Yorkshire, England - 8th June 2012
By: efilbean
We went on a train today!
It wasn't a very long journey, perhaps 30 minutes, but we had lots of fun.
Here, Tobbi and I are looking out of the train window. The blue and silver domes you can see in the distance are part of the Galpharm Stadium. Huddersfield has two sports teams. The football team are called Huddersfield Town FC and the rugby team are called Huddersfield Giants. Both teams play their home games at Galpharm Stadium. It's also very close to where efilbean works
We spent a lot of time looking out of the window at the pretty scenery and enjoyed looking at all the different towns we stopped at on the journey.
As we got closer to our destination, the city of Leeds, we took a break and had a little snack:

Pudsey, Yorkshire, England - 10th June 2012
By: efilbean
Hello!
Today Tobbi and I visited the cenotaph in Pudsey. It commemorates the men and women of Pudsey who lost their lives in WW1 and WW2.
It was built on the site of an old church; the All Saints Chapel of Ease, which was taken down in 1879. The steps on the south side reach out to where the cemetary once stood. Bones recovered in the excavations were collected and placed in a sealed vault beneath the memorial.
This is only a short update but efilbean says that we're going to be making something special tomorrow. I wonder what it will be!
