home, Germany - 22nd July 2013
By: MA_17
We had a little accident in our garden.
2 big branches of our egg plum broke. So we needed somebody to cut all the wood. I'm a rodent, so it was my job!
Can you see me on the pictures? I look like being a part of the tree.
First I cut the small branches from the big ones. Then I cut the big branches, too.

Bad Staffelstein, Germany - 28th July 2013
By: Yosemite
Hey Mummy!
Itīs my first day with my new hostparents and we went together to Bad Staffelstein, to a historic festival.
I saw swords and a knights helmet and a smith at his work. That was rellay cool
But hostmum wasnīt my opinion and we had to look at the lady who yarned wool, too
When hostmum was involved with looking at the lady I saw a fellow of mine who sat on a beer barrel. I hopped out of hostmumīs handbag and had a short conversation with him.
Luckily hostmum didnīt realize my trip
She was at a spooky booth where a skull. Ahhhh, it was her Tattoo Artist!
After this shock I was very hungry. So we had some spareribs. Thatīs what little rats like!
Yours, Mr. Stanley

Lichtenfels, Garden, Germany - 8th September 2013
By: Yosemite
Hey Mummy!
Yesterday was a wonderful summer eveing, so we decided to spent the night in the garden in the tent.
Hostdad helped us to make a campfire. So it was very romantic.
Fipsys brother Fritzle took his guitar and played some old songs about adventure and brave men
When we finished we strolled through the garden, looking for some real adventures.
At first we looked at the garden pond. No monsters over there. Maybe in the reed? No, the rustling only came from the green Wavy Gravy who played hide and seek
When it was time to go to sleep we went into the tent. The girls layed on the right, and the boys on the left side.
Suddenly, in the middle of the night I woke up and my blood curdeled There was a big monster among us! Immediately I played possum, but Fritzle battled for his life. Thank god the monster disapeared after a short while without hurting us seriously.
See you soon,
your brave Mr. Stanley

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 28th September 2013
By: Yosemite
Hey, Mummy!
Today I could give proof of my qualification as a doctor.
Baerle came to Lichtenfels to get a new nose. More precisely to get a new star on his nose. Hostmum gave him a shining star on his bear nose when he was in Lichtenfels two years ago. Now it got broken and so weīll see what we can do.
I gave hints for a effective anaestetics. Then we had to wait until the patient sleeps deeply.
Then I could start my accurate work.
Very, very, VERY carefully I removed the old star and after that I put on a new and shining one. I think it looks good!
Now Baerle has to sleep and has to go in a rehab, maybe 2 weeks or month. We will see!
Get well soon, little bear!

Essen, Coal Mine "Zollverein", Germany - 2nd October 2013
By: Yosemite
Hey Mummy!
I was allowed to accompany hostmum to Essen.
The coal mine "Zollverein" is a world heritage so we visited it.
In the visitor center was a model of the whole are to get orientation. Very comfortable for us
I was very impressed by the head gear. Itīs the symbol of this mine, so of course we had to pose in front of it
We also visited the "Ruhrmuseum" in which you can see exponates from the area. I was deeply impressed of the skull of a huge cave bear. They lived in this area long, long time ago!
He, Mummy, do you like the steam engine? It was exactly in my size but I didnīt sign a contract of employment
On our way back we passed the "Grillo-Theater", one of the oldest theaters in the Ruhr region.
Yours, Mr. Stanley

Kaltern, South Tyrol, Italy - 25th October 2013
By: Yosemite
Hello Mummy!
Greetings from our holiday destination Kaltern. On our first day we made a tour through the wine yards down to the lake. Unfortunately the bathing season is over, so we only sat at the shore and looked at the water. But it was also very nice!
After this ardous trip we went to the tavern Fischerkeller and had a Brotzeit with bacon and cheese. And - maybe- there must have been some wine, too

Bamberg, Germany - 2nd March 2014
By: Yosemite
Hello Mummy, sorry for my delay! It seems I took a winter sleep, although there was already no winter in Lichtenfels. But now I am here again
Today we made a trip to Bamberg, a city 40km away from Lichtenfels.
To get a navigation we looked at a bronze model of the city. We stood exactly at the same place . In front of us we saw the town hall, a crazy building which stands in the middle of the river "Regnitz".
Enough with buildings, Bamberg has a lot of more culture. Enjoying beer and food! So we chose a nice restaurant and ordered a special beer, called "Schlenkerla". CHeerio, Mummy!
I ordered a knuckle, because it can be very dangerous to drink without eating something.
On our tour through the city we passed another brewery, the "Mahrīs Braeu". There we had another... beer.
On our way back home we passed an old house with a absolute leaning door... or maybe that was me who balanced???
Haha, now Iīam back home save, donīt worry!
Mr. Stanley
