Berlin, Germany - 14th October 2013
By: MA_17
Hello Mom,
we used that beautiful day to enjoy our lives close to the water.
First we went to the Spandau Ship Canal.
Then we went to lake Plötzensee. Sad it was too cold to swim in it.

in the forest, Germany - 21st October 2013
By: MA_17
Hello Mommy,
guess what! We went to the forest to find some mushrooms. Gustav thinks he knows a lot about mushrooms, because he always reads his brother's best friend Murph's blog. He's famous for his knowledge about mushrooms.
We found some lovely mushrooms, but he told us not to eat them. He wasn't sure about the poison. So we just watched them.
The next mushroom was so beautiful. It had the same color like lovely cakes have. So we decided that it is eatable. It was delicious! I'd really like to tell you about that mushroom, but nobody knows the name. After our meal we all started smiling like Gustav...that explains a lot

Today we said goodbye to Landroval. He's going back home.
He got a big group hug.
Then we opened the window and Landroval spread his wings and flew away. I hope he knows the right way back home!

Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany - 25th October 2013
By: MA_17
Hello Mommy,
we made a short trip to a nearby city called Lutherstadt Wittenberg. It is famous for Martin Luther who nailed his 95 theses on the doors of All Saints' Church ( "castle church" ) in 1517.
It was already getting dark when we arrived so we could only take a picture on the market place.
The white building on the left is the Town hall. In front of it you can see the Luther Memorial.
The church is the Town and Parish Church of St. Mary's. It is the civic church of the city. The reformers Martin Luther and Johannes Bugenhagen preached there and the building also saw the first celebration of the mass in German rather than Latin and the first ever distribution of the bread and wine to the congregation - it is thus considered the mother-church of the Protestant Reformation. Since 1996 it has been a World Heritage Site!

We are soooooo excited! We're going on a short trip to a foreign country!
Can you image what the security wanted to do with us? They wanted to scan us! Hell! If they do they would see us naked! NOBODY wants to see a Toyvoyager naked!
As it is already dark outside we didn't take any more pictures today...

London, United Kingdom - 6th November 2013
By: MA_17
Hello Mommy,
guess what! I made it to LONDON!
I heard when you go to London you have to use the underground, because the London Underground is the oldest underground railway network in the world. So I did!
First I visited the famous Big Ben. This is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. The four clock dials are 180 feet (54.9 m) above ground. Wow!
And of course, we also saw the Palace of Westminster which is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The tower you can see in my picture is called Victoria Tower.
Then we went to a circus. We were so excited to see many animals and maybe a clown, but what we saw was something totally different!
Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with the major shopping street of Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction.
And there were lots of illuminated signs, gosh!
From there we went to another close public space and tourist attraction: Trafalgar Square. At its centre is Nelson's Column, which is guarded by four lion statues at its base. There are a number of statues and sculptures in the square, with one plinth displaying changing pieces of contemporary art.
That's enough of rain for today! Let's see what we're going to see tomorrow...
