Prague, Czech Republic - 22nd January 2012

We left the castle in the late afternoon by the old castle stairs that lead us to another famous district of Prague - Mala Strana. Its most famous monument is the church of St. Nicholas with a copper roof that has turned all green with time.
That was also the last stop of our visit as we were already super tired. I wonder where daddy will take us next time. I would love to see Vysehrad - another castle of Prague, or maybe Hvezda a hunting lodge together with the Brevnov monastery. Well, I guess I will have to wait.

Today, my dad took me for another trip. This time it was not a sightseeingfor monuments but we went for a walk into the forests of Prague. We took a bus and reached the antenna. It was on the top of a hill above the Vltava river and Prague. We stopped there to take some pictures and beath some fresh air.
It was cold and there was snow as well. I was very upset as I left my hat in Paris and I was freezing. Mum, please, when you come, dont forget my hat.

Then we followed the path into the valley. It was even colder down there, so we walked really really fast to warm up. Its a little sad during winter as there are no leaves on the trees and everything is frozen and cold.

Once we reached the bottom of the valley we saw a nice viaduct and a local pub. Seeing it I fel like I was back in the 1960s. There pub was build of planks and the most important information that was at the entrance was "Uvnitr topim" (that means There is heat inside). I guess it was the way to attract frozen tourists.
We continued and then I saw it........My house. There was me looking at me from the window. Amazing. I wanted to knock and invite me for a cup of hot tea but dad said it was not me in the window but only a picture of some other mole that looked like me. Disappointment.

I was sad because of the house that was mine, but was not mine. But then I saw this lovely sleeping creature on a tree. Dad said it was a cat. Cats are nice. They keep balance at all times. They never fall.
We also saw and old-time train station. It seemed abandoned but dad said there are still trains passing by once or twice a day.
And then we walked back up and took a tram home. There we had a hot cup of tea and a nice hot bath.

Today my dad took me to see the ice on the Vltava river. It was so cold that I thought my little hair would freeze to my head. I am so upset that I left my hat in Paris. Hopefully mum will not forget to bring it back.

I and the other toyvoyagers - Tedi from Germany and Zubak - were lazy in the morning and took advantage of the hotel bedroom.
Afterwards we went to take a picture with the hotel as it was sunny. It was good as it became foggy right after we took the picture (I never knew the camera could be used to call the fog).
Since we could not go skiing we stayed in the hotel and played games.

The fog persists. Moreover, there is a strong cold wind. Never mind, we decided to go sightseeing into the neighbouring towns. First we went to Jeseník spa known for the Priessnitz spa that was invented there. It was too cold for a walk, so we decided to stop in a Café instead.
Since the weather did not seem to get any better we went to visit the Natural science museum in Jeseník. The museum is in the medieval water fortress and there is a new exhibition of witchcraft and also of Lego. We went to see both but I preferred Lego.

The fog is even thicker than yesterday. Impossible to ski in the mountains. We are leaving to visit the oldest functioning manufacture of paper. It was established over 400 years ago and they are still making the paper the old way of old cloths and rugs. It was cool.
Moreover, it was sunny in the valley. Me and the other toyvoyagers built a snowman (i had to give up my hat but it was for a good thing).

I was very sad that the weather did not allow me to show off my skiing skills that mum and dad let me ski in Velke Losiny. It is where the manufacture of paper is. It is in the valley but it was sunny and there was enough snow.
I had so much fun that I couldnt stop.

Last day of our foggy skiing holiday. And guess what? Its all bright and sunny, the snow is perfect the skiers are waiting in line to get their skipass. And we are heading home.
At least we took a picture with the skislope (the one that was jsut outside our hotel window but that we couldnt see due to the fog).

Uetze, Germany - 9th March 2012
By: Zischie
Hello everybody at home!
I just arrived in Uetze, a little village in Germany. It is near to Hanover, the capital of the federal state Lower Saxony. It is in the North of Germany.
Two future TVs, the duck and squirrel (they have no names so far) and two other TVs, Winter Bear and Katie Pillar welcomed me very dearly. And my host-mum really love the gift I brought with me.
My hosts have two pets: a budgerigar called Racker, like the little tortoise of the movie "Finding Nemo" (in german the turtle is called Racker, I'm not sure of the english name) and a cat called Dicker, because he is so fat (dick is the german word for fat).

We helped to prepare the meal today! Pasta bake! I was responsable for the salami. Thank goodness, I saw Katie Pillar before I started cutting the sausage. I did not realised that I am so blind. Maybe it is true what people say about moles.
