Marburg, Germany - 19th April 2013

By: Yosemite

Dear Daddy,

during hostmums rehab we made a trip to Marburg. While we strolled through the city we found the market place where Hesse was founded.
After climbing up the hill we reached the castle of Marburg. Its really big and so we took a photo of the small model  B)
In the yard of the castle we made hide and seek. can you see me on this relief?

Back in town we passed the house where the Grimm Brotherīs lived for a few years.

Staffelberg, Germany - 30th May 2013

By: Yosemite

Hey everyone at home! Do you enjoy the weather as we do?

Today we took the chance to get out in the few hours without rain.
We decided to make a hiking tour to the Staffelberg. We passed a lot of interesting spots, e.g. the famous monastry Vierzehnheiligen.
It was a very arduous way up, but we really enjoyed it  B)
After we reached the top of Staffelberg we were very hungry. Lady Katherine and me oreded a plate with yummie sausage  :p

Love you!

Kaltern, Italy - 9th June 2013

By: Yosemite

Hello everybody at home!

No danger, your little mouse is save! I crossed the alps and had a wonderful time in Alto-Adige. B)

We made an excursion through the wine yards and learned a lot about the local viniculture.
To cool down from our walk we went to the Kalterer See and sat down near by the Lido.

On the next day we made a walk through the "Rastenbachklamm". At first we were at a viewing point and saw the sea deep down in the valley.

In the evening we visited the tavern Fischerkeller where we ordered some local wine and a mixed plate for two persons or 10 plushies  :p

Maybe I got a little bit to much of the yummie red wine  B)

Maybe weīll come back some day. Daddy, there are wonderful bike trips!!!  :D

Hey Mummy, hey Daddy!

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, itīs very hot here in northern Bavaria! So hostmum, hostdad and the TVs decided to make a trip and eat ice cream. But this was not the only surprise this weekend. Arrived at the ice parlour we saw a lady with a lot of TVs, too!

It was MA_17 with her current guests! I met 15 TVs this day!  B)

Haha, amoong MA_17s TVs were 2 rodents, 2 big rats  :D We posed for a photo *CHeeeeese*

But that was a sad day, too. Mr. Casanova, the cute dog had to go home. But I am sure he will continue his journey soon.

Lichtenfels, Garden, Germany - 8th September 2013

By: Yosemite

Hey Mommy, hey Daddy!

Yesterday was a wonderful summer eveing, so we decided to spent the night in the garden in the tent.

Hostdad helped us to make a campfire. So it was very romantic.
My brother Fritzle took his guitar and played some old songs about adventure and brave men  ;)

During the boys sang even more songs about brave TVs we girls stolled through the garden and marveld the tomatoes and the plums.

When it was time to go to sleep we went into the tent. The girls layed on the right, and the boys on the left side.

Suddenly, in the middle of the night I woke up and my blood curdeled :o There was a big monster among us! Immediately I played possum, but Fritzle battled for his life. Thank god the monster disapeared after a short while without hurting us seriously.

Now, I think, I can write a song about brave girls as well  :)

See you soon,

Fipsy

Kaltern, South Tyrol, Italy - 8th October 2013

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy, hello Daddy!

Many greetings from our autumn vacation in south tyrol!
Thaīs a great time for holidays here because the grapes are ripe to be harvested.
We visited the museum of viniculture and there were several grape-vines to nibble  :p

Fritzle also likes grapes very much  :D

With such a full stomach we needed some challenge. So we built a steeple of rocks. Not easy to keep the balance! But we managed it together!

In the afternoon I wanted to do something girlish. So Hostmum invited me to look at wonderful flowers. So we made a little collection of Photos. And we had another topic for this afternoon: Ich was allowed to go on the market in Kaltern. There was stuff like belts and handbags, but not in my size  :(

At the next booth there was something very, very interesting!
Yummie bacon and Kaminwurzen! We bought a dozen  :p

In the evening we were hungry again. So we took a small snack.

Maybe I had a little glass of wine, but I can remember... *hicks*

Yours, Fipsy(le)

Bamberg, Germany - 2nd March 2014

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy and Daddy and everybody at home!

Today we made a family trip to Bamberg, a very nice city about 40km away from Lichtenfels.

At first we got navigation at a bronze model of the city. We stand exactly on the model  :D We had a nice view to the old town hall, a crazy building that stand in the middle of the river "Regnitz".

After walking a few steps we had another view to the town hall. Itīs a very impressing building in Baroque style.

Because the weather was not so extremely good, we decided to go into a restaurant. The boys had very much fun with their beer and so we girls chose some wine  :p

Later in the evening the changed the restaurant and went to the brewery "Mahrīs Braeu". There I didnīt have wine, I also tested the beer  B)

Not too bad  :D See you soon, Fipsy
