Rüdersdorf, Germany - 17th May 2010
By: Sammy
On the first day staying with my owner, I have visited the garden of her family. I like to check my surrounding, you know.
Actually I'm not much into flowers - well I can't admit I am, since I'm a cool guy, remember - but the ones I saw were pretty.
Sadly there were no other girls in sight... despite the flowers.
Well, maybe I'll find some pretty ladies on my journey...

Berlin, Zehlendorf - EFB Campus, Germany - 18th May 2010
By: Sammy
Today I've had lots of fun.
I went to Zehlendorf, Berlin. I've joined Mom for her classes on the campus of the Evangelische Fachhoschule Berlin, where my mom studies Social Education.
Here you can see a picture of me in front of the Church, which is also located on campus:
Already after the first classes of Mom I've been able to cuddle with a cute girl:
Lucky me, heh?!
In the background of the following picture you can see a little parking lot:
Sadly I couldn't find any real hot babes, among those parked cars. Too bad, really. I'm lacking some cool rides in my life....
My geek bro keeps on telling me, I should put more interest into comps and stuff.
Really, I don't get what he means by that, but hey... Don't I look cool posing on that notebook?
I love leather jackets, but this one's been too big for me:
I've made new friends. Coming to talk about that, some people were really curious about my origins and all. I had to explain that I'm a Meerkat, who loves to travel, plenty of times.
But hey, those people on Campus rock!
The next picture shows me with a really cute and creative girl - and hey, I think she really digs me! Hey, I dig her, too! She's been all cute and cared for my needs. Oh yeah! The guys on the picture are a bunch of cool ones. They're fun to hang out with and they're as active as I am. That's cool!
The campus rocks! It's been lots of green out there and although the day's been long, the weather was fine.
I've conquered the classroom!
It's important to drink. I was fascinated by the amount of bottles I saw in the classroom. Students seem to drink a lot - and not only alcohol, huh!
Social Medicine has been interesting. The report we've listened to was very well done. But hey, even a Meerkat like me gets tired after such a long day, so I... I've tried to nap a little:
During the break I was able to cuddle with more cuties and look how interested they've been in my presence:
As the classes went on, I tried to use the time by practicing for a cool water ride - just in case anyone will take me along on one of my journeys:
I also have tried to dress up like a superhero:
I would be "Awesome Man"!
And here are just two more pictures, because hey: I'm cute!

Berlin, Alexanderplatz, Germany - 22nd May 2010
By: Sammy
Mom met a new friend at the Alexanderplatz in Berlin, so I decided to join them.
I let them take some pictures of me in front of the Urania World Clock. Somehow I think it really rocks.

The weather's been great. The sun was shining and it was warm.
After we sat outside for a while, we went to the shopping center "Alexa". Guess what? That's me in front of a stage inside of the Alexa:
When we arrived in the shopping center, we realized that a Japanese Band named "Hangry & Angry" was playing some songs and did a signing session. It seemed like a German band named "Queensberry" also was supposed to be on stage later on.
I'm only able to post another pic of me in front of the stage, but it doesn't show any of the Japanese band girls. The only pictures I took of them, I've taken all by myself so I'm not in the pic.
We were hungry so we went to sit down and had some delicious food.
I've played hide and seek in the café, we've been to.
Yay, yay, yay! When we walked outside again, I found a babe in front of the Alexa:
We've spent some time outside on the Alexanderplatz. We just hang out and chatted away and it's been such fun!
I've tried to blend in with the crowd:
We saw people, who jumped of the Park Inn building:
I love fountains!

Asakusa and Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan - 20th June 2010
By: matcha-neko
Hey Mommy - it's me again!
We're in the middle of Japanese raining season now but happily, the weather had been nice today so Alecat and I were able to make a boat trip from Asakusa to Odaiba!
Picture spam go:
Our trip started in the old district of Asakusa. This picture is on Azumabashi bridge on top of Sumida river and in front of the famous Asahi beer brewery! The brewery is in the shape of a beer glas as well as a golden drop of beer.
On Sumida river by boat! It doesn't look like it but it was really hot so being on the river was really nice~
We had to change boats at Hinode pier which isn't far from the night life district Rippongi and also right across from Odaiba which you can see in the background. It was a little windy so wind surfers liked that a lot! I did, too, because I'm not used to the hot temperatures. Alecat was fine...I wonder.
An Advertisment for the boat tour we took. Still at Hinode pier.
Nope, we didn't fly over to NYC - this is in Odaiba! Odaiba is an artifical island and very famous to go dating. The atmosphere is really relaxed and everything looks so nice. I wanna go there again!
Tokyo Skyline from Odaiba - my favorite view
Met some polar bears, too. Can you believe that?? But they seemed so sad...
Alecat then took me over to the beach. He went into the water and I stayed behind in the sand to watch his things...
My fur felt really hot afterwards and Alecat got a tan. Haha! This picture is me in the sand. Awwww~ The sand here is pretty dark...
This is in front of the 'Zepp Tokyo' which is a concert hall where many famous bands played! Bands you like, too, mommy so I made Alecat take a picture while passing it. ^________^
Right next to the concert hall is the big Odaiba ferris wheel which is even taller than the one in Yokohama and also used to be the biggest in the world!
At the end of the day Alecat took me over to Sega Joypolis which is an inside theme park with lots of cool attractions. We went for a roller coster ride, a car race in real sports cars (but we weren't allowed to take pictures there...) and also visited several simulators as well as a horror doll room. I was soooo scared no matter how often Alecat would tell me that it was just make-believe. *stillshudders*
As you see I'm having tons of fun here! Tokyo is really cool! I hope I can see many more cool cities all over the world. But Alec said I'm still welcome here so I will stay a little longer, k?
Jaa mata, ne! (That's how you say see you soon in Japanese - Alecat taught me~)
