Travelog for: Hypno-dog

Today, I've come to a butterfly and wildlife park. First off, I took a stroll on the woodland walk. They have some fruit trees.

They have a llama.

And an aviary. Perhaps this bird is a sparrow of some sort.

They have a number of birds of prey. This creature is impressive.

Inside, they had some leaf cutter ants working their way from the source of leaves back to their nest via a rope.

The butterflies were flying all over the place but rarely rested for photos to be taken. I think this is a swallow-tail butterfly.

I am in a Sea-Life centre, in Great Yarmouth on the Anglian coast.
Aren't these life-forms just so pretty?

One display tank had a "toilet" and this little fishie resting on a yellow duck (I hope this isn't one of the yellow duck Toyvoyagers out there...)

Outside, my host's son loves to play crazy golf.

This course had a pirate theme.

Today, we have come to the town of Boston in Lincolnshire. This is a 5-sail working windmill, the Maud Foster (landowner of the land a few centuries before the mill was built in 1819).[img][/img]
The brick tower stands 64ft (19.5m) tall. The sails are 37ft (11.3m) long and are the longest working sail son a windmill in the UK. The owner of the mill was on a working holiday in Tasmania (building a Lincolnshire-style windmill).

We have come to the Abbey Pumping Station, a museum that collects and displays the industrial, technological and scientific heritage of Leicester.

We are on a little train.

After visiting the Abbey Pumping Station, we came to the National Space Centre, just next door.

Blue Streak was a British rocket that launched several satellites in 1959-1960. PGM-17 Thor is another British rocket and used Rolls Royce engines.

After our long journey back from my host's mum's via Leicester, we came home to some post, including this parcel.

Today, we have come to Pili Palas, a butterfly jungle.

This caterpillar has been munching this leaf.

I think this butterfly has recently emerged. Could it be a Clipper butterfly?

On this nice day, we have come to Greenwood Forest Park.

In poetry corner, they had some famous poems written on slate slabs.

We went on a boat ride. We were given an oar, but could help ourselves along by pulling the ropes that dangled.

My paws are bare, but my host and her family had to take their shoes and socks off.

As well as walking through water and on stones, this was nice and comfortable to walk on.

There were some wood carvings throughout the forest.

There was a den building area.

Here we are relaxing in the den my host's son and husband built.

High up, there was a viewing platform. The hill in the centre is Moel Eilio.

This is a big sledge run. We were too late to have a go.

Hello Mummy!

I have arrived to Spain! My host had to pick me up in the post office and when we came home I saw that there are lots of toys living here. I met two other dogs: Milou (he is very famous, he says he even appears in books with his friend Tintin) and another ToyVoyager Domino.




And here I am with Domino and LeoTiger, both are ToyVoyagers.

Hello Mummy!

Greetings from Spain! In the weekend I visited Ávila. Ávila is the capital of the Province of Avila, which is in the autonomous community of Castilla y León. It is very famous of its medieval city walls, so I decided to see it myself!





My host said that the walls go around the old center in about 2.5 km and if I want we could do the whole circle. So we did!

Hello Mummy!

My host took me to see the Vuelta! A Spanish bicycle race which goes around the country. Stage 19 finished in Toledo and we went to see them. Unfortunately there were a lot of people and we could not take a picture with me and the bicycles, but it was fun anyway.

Hello Mummy!

On a nice sunny day I convinced my host to take me for a walk in the historic centre of Toledo. I have heard it is really nice, and it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, so I really wanted to see it myself.

This is the first glimpse I had:






We stopped for a while in a nice park where I could run up and down a bit:



And here I am already in the old part of the city:




My host said "mazapan" is a typical thing to buy here in Toledo, and people like to eat it around Christmas:

This is the building of the Alcazar. Today it hosts a museum and the library, too.
