Travelog for: Little

Hello! My name is Little and I`m hippopotamus. Very-very small hippopotamus! Nobody knows what to do with me, I`ve changed three owners and suddenly realized that my mission is travelling around the world!
And I`m happy because my first host fam-united lives in Germany (home-land of Marlene Dietrich whose fan I am!). I`m waiting only for my travell tag! Hope they will arrive soon and I will begin my travell!

I visited very beautiful temple in Dzerzhinskiy. I was not allowed to enter but I`ve made several photoes around! 
 

Finally! I received my tag!!!!
And I`m going to Germany! So exciting!
I prepared special and very comfortable envelope for travelling...but women at the post office told that it was forbidden O_o
And she put me in very large box! Everyone was laughing at me and it hurted me 
But I think visit to Germany will improve my mood!

Today it was time to bake a cake for my host son's 19th birthday party. It is called Hansen Jensen Cake. Her son asked her for using gooseberries for stuffing.

Today two other toyvoyagers arrived at our place. So now there are: Galo, Tilla Mook, Jennifer, Homer, BineHH, Smooch, Spooky, Scotty, Pinkz, Mandy Sheep and me.

Here you see, how the cake looks like, when you cut it. I can tell you, it is tastes delicious.

Today we visited a witch exhibition. It was very interesting and I had been happy, that I haven't been alone, but some adults had been with me.






The stone on this photo is called the Philosopher's Stone.

Today evening my hosts had a dinner called "Würstchen im Schlafrock" (kilted sausages). My host wanted some fresh vegetables in it, but there was only one small piece of a tomato. They also had a beer called Rauchbier, so it was a very special dinner.

It is a time for baking cakes it seems. My hosts will meet friends today, so here we are preparing a cake called Torta di Mandorle, a cake with many almonds.

Later we helped getting finished with decorating the house. There are so many nice little things to put up and maybe you will see more photos of everything later.

Here you see the advent calendar for our hosts' daughter. This year there are ships sailing on the sea.




There is a really frosty decoration in front of the entrance. I like it.








Finally here is the cake. It tastes great.

It is the first day, that my host has time to bake some Christmas cookies. We were allowed to help her. She put the Christmas CD into the CD player and we sang the songs together with her.

We start to prepare the dough for Husarenkrapferl and Vanillekipferl (crescent-shaped pastry or roll with vanilla) and Kokosmakronen (coconut macaroons) . I think, these are really funny names.

































I'm sorry, that there are no updates of Bruchsal. The weather was too bad and when it wasn't bad, my host was ill. She says, that she is really sad about that.

Hi Mum,

I arrived in Hameln today. Anni was still at work so her boyfriend picked my parcel up. What a shaky journey.



As Anni and her boyfriend Mario got visitors tonight we cooked some Lasagne. I got my share as well. Look how I helped





Afterwards I got to sit in the living room with this big big big big teddy named Ole.
Then Anni put me to bed ... I am sooooo tired!

Hi mum,

my second day in Hameln and guess when I woke up? At 6.00am - I went to work with Anni. That was cool I got to hop around on her keyboard.





After work was finished we went to visit Annis mum in hospital and I got to laze in the hospital bed.







Then we walked home. Anni said it was very cold - I dont know - I mean come on I am used to worse in Russia. But Annika said it is very cold so she made a hot water bottle for herself and look ... one for me :-)



There was a parcel waiting at home ... hmmm I was wondering who was hiding inside:



Look another toyvoyager friend! It is [Harold] and he just came from Vanja in Croatia. He is very nice and we get on well.



As it was Annis birthday on Sunday there was another parcel waiting there from her friend in Austria! We all unwrapped it together!



Now I am tired - have a good night mummy!

Hi mum,

it is almost as cold as in Russia here! Brrr .... my companion Harold Giraffe from Australia is really shivering allll the time. Whilst I dont think its THAT bad. But -20°C is pretty good already!

We were outside a lot. Well actually I got carried around in Annis bag. Luckily. I mean ...I am only little it would have taken forever otherwise.

First when we got up we watched the snow outside ... amazingly beautiful!





Then we went to the river Weser to have a look there.







Then Anni took me and Harold to the christmas market to eat some German Bratwurst. That was good ... and we had some Glühwein as well. That is hot red wine





Then we went to the new shopping center in town to get warm again. It was not so busy there as the cold kept many people from going out today.



On our way home we stopped at the river again and took some more pics!





And now we are finally back upstairs in the WARM appartment! Yesterday Anni and Mario decorated their tree. Here I had a look:



and afterwards Harold and I went out on the balcony and made snow angels that was so much fun i could have done this forever but harold was freezing so we had to go back in!
