Maze in Maize, Whaplode, England - 5th August 2012

By: miapearl

We've come to stay at my host's mum's for the weekend and have come out to the local Maize in Maze field.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-qUA-Bf8-2O4/UCucndjobVI/AAAAAAAAGxc/jlAjwWYIPb4/s500/whap4.jpg
The weather has been rather wet so the corn hasn't grown as high as the farmers would have liked.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9JeMIeBtwtU/UCucuxQ18LI/AAAAAAAAGx8/QRmJ84wt7Sw/s500/whap8.jpg
Hidden around the maze are boards with information about the Olympics. There is a letter on each board and when arranged, they form a word. My host has obscured the letter.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-g9C8vTdf3_w/UCucy_YScII/AAAAAAAAGyM/K1uypGAMdHQ/s500/whap10.jpg

Is it this way?

Dara Torres was an Olympic swimmer.

The corn looks small down there...

Yes, rain clouds, with lightning and thunder and heavy rain... We just made it under the tent.
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-UZTQU-XpBF0/UCudUBKFELI/AAAAAAAAG0M/Jp0tIaRyqoQ/s500/whap29.jpg
It is also windy..
