Travelog for: PoppyBear

On the way to Palm Valley we stopped for a visit to Hermannsburg which is as Aboriginal community and historic precinct and is renowned for its Aboriginal art collection and the works of Albert Namatjira.

We then travelled by 4WD down the bed of the ancient Finke River, one of the oldest water courses in the world to see the spectacular rock forms, white sands and an oasis of rock pools and palm trees.

Headed off from Alice Springs this morning past the majestic Atila (also known as Mt. Connor), to Kata Tjuta (also known as The Olgas) where we walked into Walpa Gorge on a walking trail that follows the natural creek between two of the largest domes at Kata Tjuta.

Today we visited Uluru (Also known as Ayres Rock) where we watched the sunrise across the desert Plains.

Late yesterday we journeyed from Uluru to Kings Canyon where today we got to view the magnificent canyon.

We also got to meet some of the local wild life in the shape of the Spinifex Pigeon which seems almost flightless and merely runs away when chased.

Later this afternoon we travelled back to Alice Springs.

The end of our holiday, so we are heading off home.

Back home with my friend Monkey and all his friends again.

Now need to work on my next holiday, or join some other family for a different adventure.

Hi Everyone. Guess where I am?  I've been back to visit Granny and she has dropped me off at Purple Ted's house!!! I haven't seen Purple Ted and her family for a long time.

Purple Ted's family is leaving on a 3 month camping trip next week and they are going to take me to visit the outback again and then they are going to set me free to see other parts of Australia.

I wonder where they will leave me? South Australia, Victoria, NSW or maybe even Canberra to see Parliment House???

I can't wait to find out.

I am now happily living with a family at South West Rocks Nsw .. my new family and many of their friends are excited about spending some of my travelling adventures with me...

Finally!! When my new owner got home from school I finally got introduced to Cleo the cats 4 week old children! Then I got a kiss of Leo, the little boy kitten! I put the photo below 😍😚👇🏼

So I haven't updated you guys on my adventures in awhile but I'm still haven't been passed on. My new host family travel a lot and are trying to find the right place to leave me. They want it to be exciting, new and full of adventure. This is me with my new friend, Ruby. Will update again soon.
