Witten, Germany - 14th July 2012

By: Mandrara

Hi, I'm so glad that my Journy can start, i Can't believe, I can't believe Ican't believe. The last weeks every day I asked my mum if my pasport arrived and now it's here! I' so happy. But bevor I start my first journey I will tell You somethings about me. But now I need to wait a moment because my two little brother wait to activate their pasports. ;)

Witten, Germany - 15th July 2012

By: Mandrara

Hi again
now I'm going to show and tell more about me and my family.

At my new home I arrieved on May the 18th. My mum Imodra was given as a birthday present to our new mummy Mandrara. She knowed about toyvoyagers and even bevor she had the plan to take part. As Imodra was given to her she saw me and my two little brothers and decided to welcome us into the fold. She took us with her and told us that we three are going to take part at toyvoyagers and our mum Imodra will be the host for a lots of TV'S from all over the world we hope.

Witten, Germany - 15th July 2012

By: Mandrara

So when I came to my new home I was glad and nervous and very tired. So Mandrara showed us a fluffy blanket where we could sleep and chill.

http://imodra.com/galerie/img.php?mode=tv&pic=../galerie/Galerien/Imodra/DSCN0081.JPG

After a very relaxing night we went trough our new home and found "Träumerle" and dragon old as stone, and I hope one day he will give away the secret of being so relaxed to me.
http://imodra.com/galerie/img.php?mode=tv&pic=../galerie/Galerien/Imodra/DSCN0089.JPG
I'm always on my way to find and see new things, mum says  I'm nosey, but I only want to know everything!!! Can this be wrong???? I thing no but.... maybe you know parents...

But here it's quit nice, so nice as it can be for a Dragon Teenager like me. When we had guests and partys it's cool or when we made a gaming night.
http://imodra.com/galerie/img.php?mode=tv&pic=../galerie/Galerien/Imodra/DSCN0139.JPG
http://imodra.com/galerie/img.php?mode=tv&pic=../galerie/Galerien/Imodra/DSCN0201.JPG

But the whole time we were waiting for our passporst. Mum always told us that we had to be patient but it's not so easy!

And than on July 08th post arrieved!!! Our passports!!!! All of us waiting for it stand around the envelope straind and happy!
http://imodra.com/galerie/img.php?mode=tv&pic=../galerie/Galerien/Imodra/DSCN0378.JPG

And then we need to wait once again. Because at our home we are not the only one who take part, With us a TV called "Zeitgeist" is living (he is the Tv of Mandraras Man) and Mandraras friend also asked for a passport. So they sit around our passports and distributet them to us.

I arrived today, and I already got new friends. Hostmom mmm105 and her stay-at-home-toy Kurnau seem to be so nice. They both said to me, that I'm a guest who they all were waited for.
I feel so welcome! :)

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-KdDm_OvpJG8/UA0QSqiB8xI/AAAAAAAAPN4/fHsADgtS5Yc/s640/001.JPG

I showed a postcard about my hometown Witten. Others watched the pictures very carefully, and they said it looks nice town. :)

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-i6RDwlkSS0g/UA0QSmnXrvI/AAAAAAAAPN0/pEBs5JWx04M/s640/002.JPG

And here is Kurnau cat, hostmom's own toy. He will be my host, too. :)

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gt7iIBfslv8/UA0QSCtd3oI/AAAAAAAAPNw/96tDrAAnP9g/s512/003.JPG

And here is hostmom's real cat Jeppe. He wanted to be photographed with me (well, you can see the earlier photos, that he already put himself in the pictures... hahaa, funny cat).
At first, I was nervous about this big cat, but hostmom promised to take very good care of me, so I'm not so nervous anymore. :)

Hello Imodra and Mandrara!

Did you know, what meanings the flag of Finland has?
Well, there's a cross in the flag. The shape of cross symbolized the Scandinavian country.
The blue colour symbolised the blue sky.
And the white colour symbolized white snow.

Hi Imodra and Mandrara!

I was walking outside today.
I wanted to see, what kind of city this is. And I liked it! :)

In this town, Jyväskylä, there's living about 132 000 people.
And guess what? In this summer it's the 175th birthday of this town. :)

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-bZJRwE7Jq4k/UBFwW3OoiFI/AAAAAAAAPVM/lQbjvZt4BNQ/s640/IMG_8229.JPG

I visited in a place called "kirkkopuisto" (a church park).
There I saw this beautiful church just in the middle of the park
surrounded by green grass, trees and beautiful flowers.
The church has buildt in 1880, and the architecht was L. I. Linqvist.

Hello Imodra and Mandrara!

Today Kurnau wanted to show me something.
He said the place where we will go is great. He was so mysterious...
So, we went outside and started to walk.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-EnhZRdIPcQA/UBQ0Zy_SMaI/AAAAAAAAP2Y/flIFv19UHRs/s640/125.JPG

Kurnau said this place is called Harju. It's like a small hill just next to city center. And there's such a great and long stairs there.

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-IbB_5MG8Zdc/UBQ0VV4KR0I/AAAAAAAAP1M/RH2eTc-3FK0/s512/033.JPG

There's the city center. And the lake in the picture is named Jyväsjärvi.
Look, the lake is so close to city center!!!
And by the way, did you know that there's about 188 000 lakes in total in Finland? Lots of lakes, isn't it? So cool!  B)

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-uE7PfzL2zBQ/UBQ0WuUC7mI/AAAAAAAAP1c/onIa3SwbgBk/s640/053.JPG

There's the sport stadium of Harju.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-87HQp_jWRUM/UBQ0VLjuWuI/AAAAAAAAP1E/5Zpz5G5PMhE/s640/047.JPG

And there's the view to the direction where hostmom is living.
She is living just next to the lake. :)

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-5i0lvOiDJ5s/UBQ0W-YZhnI/AAAAAAAAP1k/LfJF7eUGydk/s640/066.JPG

On the downstairs of the building Vesilinna, there's the Natural History Museum (Keski-Suomen luontomuseo). We visited there.

There's hirvi (a moose). It's the biggest animal living in Finland.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-vKPyQ7ZDhos/UBQ0ZXbDBWI/AAAAAAAAP2I/JBNYAUxNxWc/s640/111.JPG

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5tt7Y1yLnCg/UBQ5EC8T8UI/AAAAAAAAP3Y/EeTS3iRlPTY/s640/094.JPG

Hi Imodra and Mandrara!

I enjoyed the sunshine today.  B)

I went to see the lake just next to hostmom's home. I think she is so lucky to live in this beautiful surroundings: lots of trees and a lake just next to her home.

It's so Finnish thing: there's so much forests and lakes in nature of Finland.

Korpilahti, Finland - 1st August 2012

By: mmm105

Hello Imodra and Mandrara!

I visited in a new place today: Korpilahti.
It's located very near of Jyväskylä.

I was there, because there was a postcrossing meeting, and it's one of hostmom's hobby.
I had such a great time in the meeting, and I met new ToyVoyagers there!
Another host (Fendi) was there, too, and offcourse with all her toys
and toy-guests (PieksiHH, Nils and Kitsune).

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-wSiYewstscM/UBvpNo6UdgI/AAAAAAAAQZA/Fw4ntMzSoq4/s553/004.JPG

We all toys have really fun time together! :D
When hostmom and other humans there wrote postcards,
we toys were eating their snacks, hih.

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-YBw0M7GC-FE/UBrcTiWVrqI/AAAAAAAAQU4/5P4y0GLd7R8/s640/006.JPG

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-88ufGGrA4SI/UBvpN5YnJjI/AAAAAAAAQZE/dUHF00QvcJk/s586/007.JPG

After eating we got thirsty, so we made coffee.

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-CEROJtRvKxg/UBvqEqFyP7I/AAAAAAAAQeQ/1fD-cif_ZAA/s640/012.JPG

And then we played hide and seek! But it didn't go so well,
because the most of us was hiding under the glass.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sTyxb6JsZoQ/UBvqMXTuBQI/AAAAAAAAQek/3ISyBNTMR64/s640/016.JPG

After eating and playing I wrote a postcard. :)

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JVFqCxzM9g0/UBvpWchGarI/AAAAAAAAQaE/8khyWtqCYsI/s512/019.JPG

Here are only some of the postcards what postcrossers wrote.

https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-AYAtFAjwv50/UBvpZXxYtYI/AAAAAAAAQao/bwm9hT7uJv0/s547/030.JPG

And here we toys are helping to mail those postcards. :)

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Mbbgx1XMnp8/UBvqfVTt2xI/AAAAAAAAQe4/g0PH7oNZGrs/s640/032.JPG

It was really fun to join in the meeting!  B)

Love,
Ranja
