Taus is all set for the trip. His first host will (most likely) be Hardway from Canada.

Well, let's hope Taus feels comfortable in the hands of Ukrainian Post Office system... Below is a picture I took at the post office when the envelope was already sealed and mailed. The post office clerk said Taus was very cute. You bet!

On nice days my host hardway likes to read, and take coffee on the patio in the back yard. Here is Stony Plains and me sitting in the sun. Then Stony let me rid on his back. He is getting excited for wild release day.

today I welcomed another TV. BineHH just arrived from Japan.
we haven't had time to do very much in the last couple weeks here.
My host Hardway had surgery and had been recovering.
but he said that as soon as he's better he'll show us all the cool things Ottawa has.

Halifax NS, Canada - 30th July 2010

By: Hardway

I traveled with my host Hardway's family and 2 other ToyVoys Squizzle and BineHH to Halifax NS, on the East Coast of Canada. It was a very long drive, 16 hours in the car. we made many stops along the way. I saw Montreal, Quebec City., and many small towns in the Provences of: Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. It is very rugged and beautiful country. In Halifax we stayed with Hardway's parents, went to a nearby beach, from which we could see the oldest working lighthouse in North America.
We went to several Pubs downtown, we stayed at a hotel that had a nice VIP room that we got to hang out in and have drinks.

Taus is getting ready for a trip to Japan after a long stay at home.
We need to find a suitable envelope and a postcard to show a glimpse of our native city to the new host.

Tsukuba, Japan - 23rd June 2011

By: Fadoua

Hi!!!! Finally, I arrived to Japan. It was a long and tiring trip! I am so excited to visit a different continent and a different country! I am staying in Tsukuba, a science city located north-east Tokyo

When I left my package, I met three friendly toys: The three Musketeers. Meet Oshima, Pan-Pan and Moossy.

It was so hot and humid in Japan! The temperatures are around 29 degree and humidity is 70%. The rainy season in Japan stretches along June and July. As you know, Japan has experienced three dramatic  disasters recently: Earhtquake, Tsunami and Nuclear accident. This summer, everyone in Japan is trying to save power. People here refrain as much as possible from using air-conditioners.

My new friends offered to cool me using a manual fan :)

A giant cold orange juice cup, it was so refreshing!

To relax after a long trip, we burned few Japanese incense sticks (senkoh).
