Not everything in the garden is lovely, though, these runner beans need some serious help if they are to survive the nightly slug onslaught.
Isobel is no use - she keeps going on about Organic this, and no-chemicals that.
Perhaps I'll have to stand guard ...

Luckily, the slugs and pests seem to like the veggies best.
This aquilegia's looking healthy enough ...

Bruchsal, Germany - 29th October 2008
By: fam-united
Hi Mum,
I'm here in Bruchsal now. The weather is really bad, but I'm sure, I will have a lot of fun here.
HitchaRideMarky joined me on my travel, so I haven't been alone then. Today I already met some other toyvoyagers:
Kari, Surprise Bear, Lady, Berkeley, Meleleuca and Nori
Bye, Fifi

Bruchsal seems to be a really foggy place during November. Petra told me, that Bruchsal is located at the edge of the Rhine Valley to the Kraichgau. So maybe the Rhine causes this fog, that is all around during the last few days.
Petra told me, that usually you see a church, when you look out of this window.
Looking out of a window on the opposite side of the house, you see a walnut tree in Petra's neighbours garden.

About two weeks ago Petra and her family bought an ostrich egg. They were told, that they can keep it without a problem for about 4 weeks, but today was the day, that they decided to scrambled eggs. So we all had to help to empty this big ostrich egg. Wow, I can tell you, this was hard work
