Angelbachtal, Germany - 12th August 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

As I promised, here are the pics of our weekend trip!

We visited the technical museum in Sinsheim. There are old cars. bikes and planes exhibited.
Also a few pipe organs are in the museum. And if you put in a coin, it plays a song. The crazy Wavy Gravy invited me for a dance  B)
No, itīs nothing between us, we are just beary friends  ;)

In the afternoon we were on a medieval market in Angelbachtal. There I could look at some typical medieval items. E.g. armoured gloves!

At a booth for medieval clothing I tried a skirt. Ot was too big

We met a few other TVs at the market and watched the knights tournament together. I donīt know who won, but we all had fun  :D

Many greetings to Australia from your
Bernie

Hey Mummy!

Today Twixx, one of Hostmumīs TVs came back! He arrived in a spectacular way. We didnīt exactly knew whatīs going on when we heard a helicopter above our heads. It landed right between us. We thought about some aliens, but then Twixx came out!
We watched together the pictures of his trips and he told us everything about his adventures. Brave little guy!

Tomorrow he will continue his journey, he will go to Scotland with
Ravyna We said goodbye and wished them a nice trip!

Love you, Mummy!

Garden, Lichtenfels, Germany - 9th September 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

Today sun was so pretty shining and hostmum said this might be the last summer sunday this year. Autumn is coming soon  :o

So we decided to do something special outside.
We made some sandwiches with butter, turkey ham, cheese and cucumber. We all helped together, each TV did what he or she can do best. I layed the cucumber slices on top and at least Jethro clapped the slice of bread. Hostmum said she helps us cutting the sandwich in 10 pieces. Then we had to pack each piece in aluminium foil. We packed all the pieces into our picnic basket and went to the garden.
I was allowed to sit in the front basket of Baerles bike  B)

Yeah, here is the right place for a picnic, a teddy bears picnic! Certainly the other TVs were invited, too  :D

We unpacked our sandwiches and hostdad spent some beer  :p
Later in the evening Baerle played  the guitar and I must say he played wonderful! So much romantic songs...
Mummy; wavy Gravy sat in the deckchair next to me.. he is such a charming bear  We spent the last summer sunday together...

AND I FULFILLED A LIFEMISSIONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! PARTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :cyclops:

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 6th October 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

Today hostmum asked us if we would like to help her. Of course, we will!
She wants to paint one wall in the kitchen. Therefore we had to mask the wall with adhesive tape. I helped Baerle to do this work correct.
Fimbo wanted to start the painting. I donīt know why but he likes this colour very much  ;)

I took the smallest paint-brush and painted the corners.

Now the kitchen looks very nice!

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 19th October 2012

By: Yosemite

Hey Mummy!

So much to do today!

At first we had a farewell. Fimbo_Fimble left us. We said Goodbye to him and wished him a comfort journey.

On our way back from the postoffice hostmum said that we would visit the brand new shopping amll in Lichtenfels. It was opened yesterday, so we will be one of the first customers!

There was a merry-go-round where Wavy and me took a ride  ;)

In the mall are a lot of stores, but we girls liked the shop for deco most  :D

Look what we bought! Some christmas tree balls, a bowl and plates in TV size! So weīll have soon a delicious dinner together!

Love you,

Bernie

Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany - 6th November 2012

By: Yosemite

Hello Mummy!

Today we made a test. We tested cookies! This is a yummie job  ;) Hostmum and we looked in a magazine for a good recipe. We decided to bake lemon cookies! We needed a lot of ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda, one egg, butter, jelly and marzipan. Soeren put everything in the shopping trolley and brought it into the kitchen. I put 100g sugar into the bowl. The others added 500g flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 250g butter and one egg. Then hostmum helped us. She kneaded th edough until it was a smooth ball. After cooling it was put on a baking tray. Oooops, whatīs that? It looks like a pizza now  :o
But hostmum said this is jelly and grated marzipane on it  :p
After baking we needed more sugar! Wavy said I am his Sweetie ;)
We mixed sugar and lemon juice for an icing.

Ready! Enjoy our sweet and colourful cookies!

Your Bernie

Hello Mummy!

Hostdad is a very good cook, and his most famous meal are Tortellini with cream sauce, bacon and peas.
We were not allowed to help today, we were invited for meal!
But we sneaked a peek in the pots.

Uuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh, looks yummie!

We took place on the table and enjoyed our Tortellinis. Mummy, I would like to share them with you, but we ate it all :p

But if you want, I can cook for you, when I am back. I promise!

Yours, Bernie

Garden, Lichtenfels, Germany - 12th December 2012

Dear Mummy!

Do you know what snow is? I do!!! Thank god I have my scarf with me. Here is snowfall since a few days. We waited impatiently until hostmum came back from work.

Then Wavy Gravy, Huli Hutu and me took the sledge and went out. We went together with Huli Hutu because we hoped the is a bit more experienced with snow than a californian and an australian bear...

We took the sledge and went downhill  :D

Huuuuuuu, I felt the wind in my fur  B)

But then suddenly the sledge stopped and we fell aboard. But donīt worry, we are well. We only had to dry and warm up on the heater

Yours, Bernie

Dear Mummy, today something crazy was going on in the living room: We saw a real tree there! It must have been grown during the night! But hostmum explained that this is our christmas tree and we are allowed to help to decorate it!
I choose the Santaīs face for my branch.
After we finished we felt really ... something holy??? I donīt know why  ;)

But take a look at our chrsitmas tree! Isnīt it pretty?

Mummy, I wish you a merry christmas!!!

Happy new year, dear Mummy!

We celebrated the New years eve in the garden. Hostdad made a big campfire and hang a pot over it. There he roasted meat and vegetables for a goulash. The whole stuff had to cook 3 hours! During this time we sat together at the fire and talked about the last year and what the new will bring.

When it was midnight I gave Wavy Gravy a big kiss!

Yours, Bernie

Kulmbach, Germany - 10th February 2013

By: Yosemite

Hello my dear Mummy!

Today we enjoyed the winter day and spent it in a museum for tin figurines. It is located in the Plassenburg, one of the most impressing castles in Germany.

There are a lot of pretty exhibits, e.g. a scenery of the christmas market in Nuremberg, some garden sceneries and a cupid :D

But the most wonderful exhibit was a big diorama (3x3m!) of the Serengeti!

Kisses to Australia!

Bad Berleburg, Germany - 27th February 2013

By: Yosemite

Dear Mummy!

Today we arrived in Bad Berleburg. Hostmum will be here for regimen for 5 weeks, and we are allowed to accompany her.

At first we inspected the little city. There are very nice houses, a castle and apark with old trees and a pond. In the park we found a little house. That would be perfect for me and Wavy...  B)

Wavy and me really enjoyed this day, because we knew that it would be one of our last days together. Hostmum told me that you arranged a trip to UK for me! Although I am a little bit sad to leave Wavy, I am happy to continue my journey. And hostmum promised me that Wavy and me will meet again!
