Today we are off to explore the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg









Many of the old buildings have been restored to their former glory...we are heading for the Hermitage now.

Tonight we had a visit to the vodka museum and had a tasting!!!

Today we are travelling to Canberra,the capital city of Australia...here we have stopped at the Ettamogah Pub for a rest break.

Today we have visited the old city of Novrogod...this is the St Sophia Cathedral

we have arrived in Moscow after an overnight train trip from Novrogod



we had a sleep and woke up to this

Today we have visited Bernkastle...Wavy Gravy and I like the buildings here

Today we have gone for a walk thru the town and  into the forest.




we found an old mill, that used the power of water to turn a grinder, that crushed nuts and collected the oil, sadly it is no longer used.

Today we are back in England for a few days before returning to Australia...we had a last walk along the sea front









we found some pots used for crab fishing.

We are on our way to Canberra and have stopped here for a break.

Today we are in Canberra, and at the National War museum


and here is a memorial to Australian and New Zealand people

and a new statue to dogs who work in war zones,



this is Lake Burley Griffin and over behind it is the Parliament House



we found the gardens where the tulip festival is held, the tulips are all gone now but we found some wonderful poppies



we found some giant friends!!

Today we have been on the tourist on and off bus having a look around the city and surrounds...our first stop was Parliament house




Inside the grand hall is an amazing tapestry



this is the Senate



Here we are up on the roof



and now in the House of representatives


Later we went to the Science museum and played some music


Back near the morel we found some giant Galah statues

We are back in Victoria and are heading off for a walk on the beach after sewing group

Today we have been down the coast to Torquay to try and find a few geocaches



It is a beautiful day



we found a seal but no cache



the tide is a long was out today



We had agood day in the sun

On the way home from Torquay we stopped to look for a geocache here at Breamlea



it was near this old gun emplacement that had slid down the sand hill


the beach here is deserted except for us!!
