It was fun playing with the mouse while they were trying to work

I got to go out and poke my nose around the warehouse too.

King Of Prussia, PA, USA - 4th April 2012

By: Boris Kitty

I went shopping today! We headed out toward Philadelphia, but only went as far as King of Prussia where the big mall is. There we found a Build A Bear store that had some clothes that should fit me!

http://dogblogs.dogtoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/babw-shoppin-3-223x300.jpg

I picked a few things out.

http://dogblogs.dogtoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/babw-shoppin-2-224x300.jpg

Can boys wear pink?

http://dogblogs.dogtoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/babw-shoppin-4-300x224.jpg

Then I headed back to the dressing rooms to try everything on.

http://dogblogs.dogtoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/dressing-room-2-224x300.jpg

I made a little mess getting everything off the hangers, but I like these shirts and think I will take them both!

http://dogblogs.dogtoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/dressing-room-4-244x300.jpg

I like it with the hood up too. What do you think?

http://dogblogs.dogtoy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/dressing-room-3-224x300.jpg

Finally, I decided boys can wear pink. Because I really, REALLY wanted those bunny slippers!

Atlantic City, NJ, USA - 19th April 2012

By: Boris Kitty

We are heading to Atlantic City, NJ for a trade show for DogToys.com.

This is my first look at this city as we drove into it.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7114/6982966576_5f18bc0851.jpg

We got there safe and sound and headed to the convention hall where we saw a really neat retro poster for Atlantic City.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7210/7129051423_84c9e9c239.jpg

MissLucy and I posed with these bathing beauties!

There were some really big fish in the convention center flying around over head.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7100/7129051139_19ceeb3b2b.jpg

There was a red one.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7252/7129051093_cd1921c439.jpg

A yellow one.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7190/6982966830_e1183f514e.jpg

And a green one. We could not reach them they were way up high!

We were all hungry so we decided to go get a sandwich from the White house.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7103/6982967222_2a4b8aef69.jpg

They have the best submarine sandwiches around! Loads of famous people have come to the White House to eat.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8008/7129050579_eae0da8830.jpg

There are photos of all the famous celebrities that have stopped at the White House to eat hanging on their walls. Here I am with Haley Joel Osment and so other famous people.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7187/7129051323_b81490079a.jpg

I really wanted to go into the casino and gamble but the humans were to tired from the trade show and said maybe next time.  :(

I took a little nap on the way back home. It was a very busy day but I had fun.

Reading, PA - IMAX Theater, USA - 21st April 2012

By: Boris Kitty

Tonight we went along to the movie theater! We are here to see The Hunger Games.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8158/6982967686_2b4c363323.jpg

We got popcorn!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7236/7129051771_a8f9748816.jpg

And soda!

But shhhhhhhh the movie is starting.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7066/6982967466_4728e09458.jpg

It was a very good movie but the humans with us all agreed that the books were better than the film. Maybe I should read the books now?

Reading, PA Indian Restaurant, USA - 22nd April 2012

By: Boris Kitty

My host, Boris Kitty, got a new friend. His name is Spock. He is a scifi-loving Baboon from the Isle of Wight in the UK. He will be living with Boris and his family from now on! Kolo is in charge of rehoming baboons to his pals all over the world. He is really a great pal to have!

So in celebration we decided to treat Spock (and ourselves) to Indian food. Yum!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7135/6982967308_e355573a6e.jpg

We started with Naan, a traditional bread.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7222/6982967348_2d159cca45.jpg

As you can see Spock is ready with the water just in case the curry is spicey.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7124/7129051623_cefb09edcd.jpg

It was a buffet style restaurant so we went back for some more of our favorites and to try a few new things as well.

The food was very good. I think I like trying out foods from different places.

Lancaster County, PA, USA - 28th April 2012

By: Boris Kitty

Not exactly sure where we ended up on this trip.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7078/7129052451_8eb604b263.jpg

We were visiting greenhouses and drove all over Lancaster County.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7258/7129052865_6fbb8f9781.jpg

You can see the pretty farms in the background of this photo. There were cows, chickens, sheep and donkeys all around us!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7237/6982968472_42d35f4b8b.jpg

We really liked these bright marigolds. They made us smile, because they are the color of sunshine.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7125/6982968366_c8a6f08632.jpg

These two chaps were nice, but we never could figure out what they were looking at.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8011/6982968220_4e56ebb5de.jpg

We even played hide and seek in the elephant ears.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7039/6982968414_e5af9b1bac.jpg

Then we were told beds of flowers are not for sleeping in....oops!

Wyomissing, PA - Reading Hospital, USA - 23rd May 2012

By: Boris Kitty

My host's sister was in a car accident (she's the nice lady that took us to the greenhouses in Lancaster last month) so I decided to go visit her in the hospital. She got lots of nice flowers and cards (I had to stick my nose in every one). :)

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8154/7454975112_6c424cf28b.jpg

Everybody says that hospital food is gross, but I kind of liked it.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7254/7461632330_6d25c37218.jpg

As you can see I have an "owie" on my nose so she does not feel so bad. I hope she gets better soon so she can take me some where else fun.

Reading, PA - Humane Society, USA - 15th June 2012

By: Boris Kitty

Today my host, MissLucy and I are going to do something really good that makes us feel great. We are going to the Humane Society of Berks County to donate some toys and treats for the animals that are waiting for forever and ever homes.

Here you can see all the fun toys for dogs that we brought along with us.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8012/7461632660_da6919126a.jpg

We did not forget the kitty cats though. Here you can see all the yummy treats we brought for them (they will get toys next time). My host is a volunteer with the HSBC and helps socialize the kitties (that means she gets to go in and play with them).

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7246/7461632200_038ab953b5.jpg

Let me show you some of the cute kitties they have there. First we met Kitty. She is an adorable young torby that looks like she wants to chase MissLucy's tail.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7254/7461632876_42186596d3.jpg

She thought she might give me a little sniff too.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8145/7461633028_fa888ae011.jpg

Then we saw this adorable little black kitten that just wanted to play with us.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8161/7461632820_5a43ef7715.jpg

He tried and tried to get us.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8005/7461632980_8d5503dd56.jpg

Normally my host would go in and play with these sweet kitties, but since we were along she decided to come back later so she might give them all of her attention.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7250/7461632706_0f1a2d972d.jpg

I do hope they all get adopted real soon.

Steinhude, Germany - 29th July 2012

By: Dr.Kröbner

Hello at home,

on sunday we made a short trip to Steinhude and the Steinhuder Meer or Lake Steinhude , the lake is located 30 kilometres  northwest of Hanover. It is named after the nearby village of Steinhude. It has an area of about 30 square kilometres , making it the largest lake of northwestern Germany, but it is very shallow, with an average depth of only 1.35 metres  and a maximum depth of less than 3 metres . It lies within a region known as the Hanoverian Moor Geest.  enough facts ;)

unfortunately we could not cruise with "Gummischnulli", it was too much wind, so we lay and sit in the sun and enjoyed the beautiful view over the lake B)

Fritzlar, Germany - 8th August 2012

By: Dr.Kröbner

last weekend I visited a wonderfull old town in hesse, Fritzlar is a small German town (pop. 15,000) in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse, 160 km (99 mi) north of Frankfurt, with a storied history. It can reasonably be argued that the town is the site where the Christianization of northern Germany (north and east of the Roman Limes) began and the birthplace of the German empire as a political entity. The town has a medieval center ringed by a wall with numerous watch towers. Thirty-eight meters (125 ft) high, the Grauer Turm ("Grey Tower") is the highest remaining urban defense tower in Germany
