Hi!

Halloween is finally here!!!

I'm so excited to put on a costume.  My host said that many people dress up as scary things, so I dressed up as the scariest person I've ever heard about... Goldilocks!  That girl is scary, breaking into bear homes and taking whatever she felt like.



My friends dressed up too.  BlueBunny dressed up as candy, Mr.Lumpi is a Jack-o-lantern, and little Peep is a witch.



Tonight we will stay home and hand out candy to the kids who come to visit us.  This whole pumpkin bucket is full of candy.  We get to eat whatever is left over at the end of the night.  Trick or Treat!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is an American holiday to help us remember all the things we are thankful for.  My host's family celebrates with a big meal with the whole family.  We ate turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberries, buns and pumpkin pie for desert.  I can't believe how much a little toy like me can eat!



I am thankful for my wonderful family back home and for all the friends I have met on my journey.

When we got home, it was already dark out.  And it was SNOWING!!  I'm so excited!  I just had to go out and play!



It was a wonderful holiday!

Hello!

Maybe it's a little too early, but today we are decorating the Christmas tree!

I picked out an ornament to put on the tree.  My host says that she likes this one even if it is a little broken.  She got it as a Christmas present when she was a child.



With a little help from my friends, the tree is looking very merry.  I can't wait until Christmas!

SNOW!!!



It started snowing yesterday, and it's still snowing today.  It very Cold, but very fun to play in!  Looks like we will have a white Christmas this year!



Time to go inside and warm up with some hot chocolate.

I made it to Oklahoma City! My host, Michelle, has two cats and I got to meet Monster. Gremlin was hiding, but that's okay.

My host has a Projector that they watch on the wall, instead of a TV. They also have a media player called a Boxee Box that they can watch stuff on. It's pretty neat! They can even watch netflix on it.

My host treat me to some vanilla icecream with shell chocolate on top! Then I got to meet Candy. Candy is a resident toy (not a traveller) who has hearts on her body like me. I had such a warm welcome. I can't wait to see what kind of stuff my host has planned.

I went to work with my host today! She does technical support for networking products for a company called Seagate. First, we had breakfast in the cafe.

Then my host showing me about her work place, which included some positive banners. My host designed the wide banners. She also had some artwork she made for for supervisor Scott. She's making name cards for the whole team! There are some certificates in her cubical too.

I got my own visitor's badge and mini-headset. We had some lunch in the cafe which wasn't too bad. They also have this table filled with product boxes so people can reference the box for any information the customer might need.

There were lots of calls and it was a long 10 hour day!

We celebrated my hosts' birthday on Groundhog's Day. It's a folklore holiday that says if the groundhog sees his shadow, we'll have 6 more weeks of winter. He did not see his shadow this year. Anyways, we had cupcakes and Chinese New Year goodies. We didn't like most of the Chinese candies, but it was fun to try and funny to see each others reactions! The cupcakes, on the other hand, were fantastic!

I met Clara the tentacle kitty and Tonakai the custom reindeer, whom are the newest toys in the house. Clara is a very unique softie and she's super cuddly. Tonakai was colored and brought to life that night. They were both pretty cool toys.

We also eat dinner from Buffalo Wild Wings, played cards, and watched a UFC match on tv. We didn't pictures of all that because we were having so much fun we didn't think about it! It was a lot of fun.

We had a lazy afternoon and ate at a place called Billy Sims Barbecue, which is named after a football player. There mac and cheese pasta was so good!

I went to the Underground Monster Carnival, which was a one day event. In the past there were old low-budget movies that were badly made, poor props, and usually bad acting... but they were fun! These movies are called B-Movies, and there were a lot of horror B-Movies. The event was horror themed and very B-Movie! I had a lot of fun!

I went to a concert in Dallas, Texas. I got to see KMFDM (http://www.kmfdm.net/) and we had a great time! I got some pins and flyers. The venue "Trees" was amazing because it was so clean and air conditioned. A fight broke out during the concert and they got kicked out, and then everything was fun again. Also, the ride up to Dallas was so pretty. I had a fantastic time!

For St. Patrick's Day, Benno and I went to the Museum of Osteology. It's a museum filled with bones. It was a small museum but it was pretty cool! We got to see bear skeletons and more.

Today, I had some fried pickles and nachoes at Flatire Burgers.

I went to the Tesla Tea Part in Tulsa Oklahoma. It was a small Steampunk event at the Jazz Hall of Fame. They haven't finished the place so there wasn't a lot there... but it was still a good time! I got to meet a bunch of Easter Bunnies and other people.

My host made me a handmade easter bunny for Easter! I love it <3

I went to Planet Comicon in Kansas City MO. It was a fun convention. We actually got stuck 5 hours from Oklahoma City because the car died. The car had to be junked completely. We rented a car home and then got a new car. It was very frustrating, but at the same time, we have more comfortable car to travel in now!
