Travelog for: Eugene

Eugene, Oregon, USA - 10th April 2008

By: BunTraveler

Eugene the bear has a great deal of things he wants to do in his life.

First he would like to learn how to read better and learn how to use the cell phone so he could order from the Black Beary eatery.  He heard they have great raspberry waffles with raspberry syrup and great big blueberry muffins.

Eugene bear loves muffins!

Eugene would also like to go to a "GREAT BIG"  "ALL BEAR" party where they serve honey on cupcakes and lemon frosting and peanut butter on toast.    He would like to play the game "whack a pinata" while blindfolded and hopefully hit it hard enough for all the candy to fall to the floor and all the bears could eat it right there.

Eugene would like to learn how to read better as most of the time he can only read the big print and look at the pictures in the funny papers.
He would like to learn how to read better so he could one day become a well known newspaper reporter.

He would like to write about the web site "Toyvoyagers" and tell everyone all about it in a great newspaper article.

He would like to then venture to this wonderful place called Toyvoyager Central in England and meet the people that made his beautiful tag he travels with.

There are so many things Eugene would like to do in life and he is ready to start his voyage now.

Eugene has never left home.  He was a bit shy at first with the thought of leaving but now he thinks he would like to travel a bit and do some reporting.

He has always wanted to be a reporter and make a name for himself.
Maybe someone will send him an email and let him know if he can travel to your home town.

Eugene, Oregon, USA - 24th February 2011

Eugene was outside playing with the other TV's today and decided to help them build a little igloo for climbing on.
It sort of got a little crowded but it was also fun just to sit there and lick the side like a snowcone.  It was a fluffy flavor---is that a flavor?---and it tickled his nose.

Eugene just got an email from Russia today to come for a visit.  He is so excited that he came right in the house and started to pack and get ready.

His new host will be TaisAfinskaia.  He is very excited.  Maybe while he is there  he will get to meet a lot of other TV's.  If he is very lucky, he will learn a new language while he in Russia too.  That would be wonderful!

He is almost ready to go.

See you soon Russia!

Moscow, Russia - 27th March 2011

Dear friends!
Today I want to show you Tsaritsino park:

Quote:
Tsaritsino museum and reserve in Moscow (near Tsaritsino metro station and commuter suburb train station) was founded in 1984 in the park of the same name.

"Tsar" is a king in Russia and "Tsaritsa" - queen.

Quote:
The estate is known from the late 16th century, when it belonged to Tsarina Irina, sister of Tsar Boris Godunov. At that time it was called Bogorodskoye. In the 17th century it belonged to the Streshnevs and then to the Galitzines. In 1775, when the estate was bought by empress Catherine the Great, it received its present name, which means “Tsarina’s”. In 1776-85 architect Vasili Bazhenov built a new palace for the Empress here, but in 1786 Catherine ordered it to be partly pulled down. Until 1797 architect Matvey Kazakov was working on the construction, but the palace remained unfinished. Currently, in Tsaritsino there are a history and architecture museum, a landscape park with an adjacent forest, an art museum, the Biryulyovo dendropark, and a cascade of the Tsaritsino ponds.

Here you ca see only part of great arch, but one day I`ll show you all the castles which are situated there.

Moscow, Russia - 15th May 2011

Hello mummy!
I visited very nice park:

Quote:
Kolomenskoye is a former royal estate situated several kilometers to the south-east of the city-centre of Moscow, Russia, on the ancient road leading to the town of Kolomna (hence the name). The scenic area which overlooks the steep banks of the Moskva River became a part of Moscow in the 1960s.

Everything is so green and fresh! I love spring, because it is not so hot yet, but already warm enough.
