Travelog for: Robito

North Bay Village, FL, USA - 22nd September 2007

Palmito and I have been spending a lot of time playing together since he arrived. It was so sunny and nice at the kitty-condo next to the window, that we decided to play there this afternoon.

Palmito hid and put his Halloween costume on. He tried to fool me into thinking that he was someone else. Ha ha... I pretended not to know who he was, though it was pretty obvious...

Later we were going to use the little house that the kitty-condo has as a fort. But, it was already occupied...! Good luck, Vince! :stare:

North Bay Village, FL, USA - 29th September 2007

Today Mom woke me up early and said I'd have to hurry up and get ready--I'd had my travel tag for a few days now and it was time to get into my package so I could go visit Dorenda in The Netherlands.

I must say I needed some convincing... I do want to go but the idea of traveling far away so suddenly kind of gave me cold feet. It had been a while and I guess I forgot about traveling. Just when I'd gotten used to this nice house... And after Palmito came to live with me, too! :(

Mom kept saying that Dorenda is very nice and I will have a good time with her and her family. I've no doubt of that, but, what if I get lost in the way...?

I'm scared!

Zwolle, The Netherlands - 3rd October 2007

By: Dorenda

Pfff I am glad I have made to Dorenda's home. That envie was so small, I could hardly move. I was so happy that Dorenda got me out of there as soon as she saw I had arrived. I couldn't be happier.

Ofcourse I wanted to meet Bumba, because he is a ToyVoyager just like me. And guess what... he was so nice!!! He made me feel at home immediately. I think this could be a friendship forever!

Unfortunately Dorenda had to go to work soon after I arrived, because she had to do a evening shift. She works in a hospital.

I asked her to please update my travellog before she left for work, because I wanted to let my mum know, that I am okay. Fortunately Dorenda found some spare minutes to do that and she even took a very nice picture of me to show my mum that autumn has arrived in the Netherlands (lots of acorns around :))

Zwolle, The Netherlands - 14th October 2007

By: Dorenda

I am still here!! Dorenda was a bit busy, so she hadn't had the time to update the travellog sooner. The were a few rainy days here in the Netherlands, which made me a little sad and homesick. Fortunately Bumba cheered me up and we sat together warming us at the fire place.

Bumba and I read in my travel journal and I asked Dorenda to write something in it. Ofcourse she loved to do that and after she was finished I couldn't wait to read it again!!

Today I had a lot of fun with Sem, Dorenda's son, who turned 1 year old yesterday. It was a great party! Actually Sem had to go to bed. He was already wearing his pyjamas, but he still wanted to play with me and Bumba. We laughed a lot and Sem hugged us and kissed us.

That's it for now. Autumn is really here so lots of acorns in the forest!! We try to visit it as soon as we can!!

Zwolle, The Netherlands - 21st October 2007

Today I have completed my first Life Mission!!! I went to a big forest and searched for acorns. I even brought a few home from it. I will tell you all about it.

At first we went to the forest by car with the whole family (Dorenda, Sem and Remco). Sem brought his tricycle and let me in the back. It was so much fun.

The forest was very beautiful. Because it's autumn, a lot of leaves were on the ground and the trees which still ahd leaves were brown and red. We found some nice mushrooms as well.

On the ground you could also find acorns :) I was so happy I could fullfill my first life mission. My mum would be so happy too!

Dorenda told me that my mum really misses me and she wants me to come home. I miss my mummy as well, so Dorenda promissed me to send me home as soon as possible. I will Sem, Remco, Bumba and Dorenda too, but we promissed to write each other!

That's all for now. It's cold outside, so Dorenda made this wonderful Dutch autumn dinner and promissed me some too, yummy!

Hugs, Robito

North Bay Village, FL, USA - 24th December 2007

Hello there! I have been home for a while, resting. After so much traveling, sleep was all I wanted to do, really. But I began coming out of my box for a few hops a couple of days ago. And that was when I saw that we have received a package from Rosemary!

They were all things for Mom or for Rosemary herself, nothing for Palmito or me. But we don't know Rosemary that well, yet. She left so soon after we met and is traveling all over the place. She must really like it.

She sent some pretty things back home. Buttons, for her collection, no doubt, a bookmark with a lavender field, a seashell which I put away in the same box where we keep the acorns I brought from my visit to Dorenda in The Netherlands and two postcards. But one of the postcards is made of metal! Mom was ecstatic over it, but I don't like it all that much. It's really girly.

Later Palmito and I played around the Christmas tree. I went to see what was inside the cats' stocking, but the gifts were wrapped so I couldn't tell. The smell of catnip was overwhelming,  so I didn't stay there long.

I had a little conversation with Shampoo, and then Palmito and I went to look at all the cards that our family received. We found a card from mistigree and Rosemary there, too.

Then we went to bed. Tomorrow is Christmas day. I can hardly wait!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas with your loved ones!  :stare:
