Travelog for: Po Penguin

I'm on my way to Manila with the Littleminn.  Unfortunately the kids didn't come with as this isn't really a vacation.  She's on her way to the Philippines for her Dad's memorial services.  She brought me because she figured that my chances to see this part of the world will be slim so why not check it off my list. 

Littleminn and I are checking our messages as we wait for our flight to the Philippines.

We are really out in the Provinces.  This is from the balcony of Littleminn's Dad's house in Milaor, Philippines.  There is a lot of poverty in these parts.  I didn't get out much while I was here as most of her time was spent at the house with family.

Another view across the street.  Sadly there was a young teenaged gril living in one of the houses (if you can call it that) across the street.  She looked very American.  Littleman was buying candy one day and saw her.  She said to the girl, you look very American.  The young girl said, "half."  Littleminn said, "your father?"  The young girl said, "yes, he's in the States."  "Oh!" inquired Littleminn, "Where in the states?"  The young girl replied, "I don't know..." 

This made Littleminn very sad. 

Time for some fun! Before Littleminn leaves town for work she is taking the kids out to Sandia for some fun on the Go-Carts and Bumper Boats! Check it out! Old Skool video games!

Littleminn had to go to the East Coast for work.  Sadly, no time to see any sites...Didn't see much but the inside of a hotel and conference room.  At least I can check if off my list if no one else takes me to see the sites. Saw the Atlantic ocean from the plane, does that count?

I guess one cool thing is I got to ride the Amtrak from Boston to NY.  But once again, once I got to NYC, I didn't get out much.  I do recall it was pretty humid.  But still, check it off my list, I guess. 

SOMEONE TAKE ME SOMEWHERE FUN!!!!

I'm off to Oregon to visit Duck and her ducklings.
