Concert in the park, UK - 19th July 2009

By: auntie sam

We had a wet evening "singing in the rain".The concert in the park is held in our village each year and is a good evening out, picnicing and being very merry. Lots of umberella's and gazebo's to keep off the rain but nobody really seems to mind.

Cleethorpes, UK - 20th July 2009

By: auntie sam

I went on a day out to Cleethorpes with Thepinkpig before he was released into the wild. The weather was very warm and sunny which was very welcome after all the rain we have just had. Who wants to be in Cleethorpes on a wet day?I felt sad leaving Thepinkpig but  I'm sure he will be looked after by whoever finds him.We walked along the prom and believe it or not the tide was in,had fish and chips for lunch and a drink at the pub before we came home. You can also see me with all my friends from the charity shops (one of my missions). Thought it would be nice to have every one together before they start disappearing.

Northumberland, UK - 27th July 2009

By: auntie sam

I had a lovely weeks holiday with my fellow traveller. The weather was great with alittle rain and misty mornings. We were in the middle of no where and went for long walks, visited Haltwhistle which was the nearest village and stopped off for a pint to quench a very dry thirst.

St. Ives, UK - 14th September 2009

The seaguls can be very viscious here. They swoop down and grab from your hand whatever you are holding to eat. Hence the sign posts!

Abergavenny food fair, Wales - 20th September 2009

By: auntie sam

The journey fron Penzance in Cornwall to Wales was just awful. The motorway was very busy and lots of road works.Anyway my visit to the food fair was great. Lots to sample and taste. Music by the river to entertain us and again lots more cream to eat. I'm beginning to like cream more than honey
The food fair is all over the town and I had to wear a wrist band so I could wander in and out of the different venues.
