Travelog for: Quak

Hello everybody,

my name is Quak. I am a little goose and currently staying with my mum BlackCat. She told me a lot stories about the other ToyVoyagers here and I decided to travel, too. We don’t know where my first travel will go, but I am excited to get to know a lot places around the world.
Please show me around at your home. Show me your daily life and special things.

Now I will go to bed and hope, that somebody wants to welcome me.

Shanghai is sooooooo hot! And I stayed in Gloria's dorm for several before she took me for a walk, cause she was busy with her tests. But Fudan University is beautiful! And Gloria introduced me to her friends, and they love me! Quak!

See me in this photo? It's a gate of the campus. The board reads: get off your bike and show your ID when entering. I have to metion that I love the color of this pic!

Gloria is going to West Hunan Provice with her friends, and she will teach local kids English there. The journey will be reallu tough,  but we are sure that the scenery will be brilliant.
It will take us more than 20 hours to get Jishou, a small city in West Hunan Province. But I love traveling by train! It's intersting and romantic to see things rush backward outside the window!

We arrived in the small village where Gloria and her friends will work as volunteer teachers. I really appriciate the beautiful scenery here, although the living condition is really tough. Look at the traditional Chinese style house, the corn field and the moutains, both Gloria and I love here!
Anyway, I am brave Quak, and I will make the best here. We will give lessons to kids today, and I believe the kids will love me! Quak!

I really enjoy staying with kids here! They are soooo cute and they learn thing quite well.

Both Gloria and I will miss them when we have to leave on July 15th. How I wish we could bring them to Shanghai for better education!

Hola! I am now in Fenghuang, which means "phoenix". It's a famous town in China for its beautiful scenery and rich culture. It appears in several writers' works and has become the dreamland of many tourists.

Gloria and I will stay here for 3 days, enjoy bars, cafes, food, culture relics, hotels and river view here, after such a tough time in the small village. We stay in a room with a view, see?

We have been back in Shanghai for days, and after a week's rest, Gloria took me for a walk today in some most beautiful streets in Shanghai. Here are some pix of me in differente kinds of mailboxes. Gloria said sitting in mailboxes means that I am Quak on the road!

We are now in Nanjing, Gloria's hometown. Today's lunch is Tangbao, a kind of delicious juicy Baozi. Every one of us was greatly satisfied.

I went to an underground rock concert in a famous bars, it was soooooooooo hot! What a pity Gloria didn't took a clear pic for me

I miss my homeland and my mentors...

I am now in Santa Cruz, because Gloria is here as an exchange student. See me in the plane? Really beautiful sunrise. And now I need a rest, jet lag actions!
