As it's the time of Mid-Autumn Festival, there are Lanterns Fair everywhere.

I attended on of them and found the lanterns are amazing~
They have all kinds of styles and themes.
It's beautiful and joyful~ 

Other than lanterns, there is also fire dragon dance as a custom.

I haven't give you news for a long time. Sooooo sorry !
I've spent Christmas Holydays in France at Nuryko's home. There was snowing. It reminds me home !

The day after Christmas, we go out to see the snow and we've found a little Christmas village.





I try to pull Santa's sleigh but it was too heavy for me.

After beeing to Paris Nuryko and I went to a good friend of her in Bonneuil. I spent my afternoon making masks with two wonderful little girls.















In the kitchen I've found a doll cake, beautiful isn't it ?



And at diner we ate pizzas ! Mmm !

Today, we have come to Conwy.

We stopped off at the Royal National Lifeboat Institute station in Conwy, and made a donation.

Do you see that little red-painted house down there? That is Britain's smallest house.

Conwy is a walled town. We are at the start of the wall, overlooking the Conwy estuary.

Can you see Conwy Castle in the background?

We are very high up here!

Look what we found! A small geocache!

That was the tower we were high up.

The castle was built for King Edward in Gwynedd and is listed, along with the town walls as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We didn't have time to go around the castle.

We have come to the other side of the River Conwy to the site of another castle about a mile and a half away, though not much remains of Deganwy Castle. It is a bit murky, but perhaps you can make out the bridge and even the castle.

It's another geocache.

It has been a good day.

It is a nice quiet Sunday. We didn't do much until the afternoon when we went to Parc Dudley for a walk.

There was also treasure to be found!

Some of the toys are going away on their travels tomorrow, so we thought we'd have a game of Cluedo playing in teams

However, we spent far too much time chatting instead of concentrating on the game and we all drew the 8th clock leaving the crime unsolved.

Mummy, thank you so much for finding someone for me to go and visit. I did so enjoy my trips away, and I know I haven't been home long. I just want to see all the nice places in the world. 3 of my siblings are also off on their travels.

Hi again, mom! Hello,everybody! Guess what! I’m in Portugal! :-D The trip here was rather fast and actually I enjoyed it, but it was great to come here and meet my newest hosts – Henna and her TV Veronica.



It is already full summer here and very hot, and Henna loaned  me this straw hat to avoid a sunstroke. :-D


Here I’m taking a look of my new surroundings out from the balcony.






Then I went for a short walk with Veronica.








We were walking along the Tejo riverside. It is the most important river in Portugal. The old roman scriptures called it Tagus.

Boa tarde!  That means "Good evening!" in portuguese.

It is very hot day today, about 27 degrees celsius, and we are moving rather slowly and creeping from shade to shade. Especially Henna and Veronica, who just arrived from Finland, where there was about zero degrees and lots of snow, are having troubles. 






So we continued our explorations today in Almada, which is a smallish city in the southern bank of river Tejo, just opposite the capitol city of Lisbon.




We saw some interesting graffitis on the walls on our way.












And thewe wonderfull carnations and many more flowers and blooming trees. 


Then we popped to see a small art exhibition about plants in illustrations. 












There was a nice view over the old part of Almada from the art museum yard.

That is how people here say "Hi!" So, hi mom and everyone else, how are you? I´m having fun and getting used to the heat.

We have been walking around seeing the sights of Lisbon, the capitol city of Portugal. It is actually very interesting city - it has existed in about the same spot from the bronze age onwards. 


This is Praça do Comércio, one of the main squares, that in former times worked as a market place for all the products the portuguese ships were bringing from other parts of the world.



This is "Elevador de Santa Justa" - an important turist attraction, a 30 meters high metal construction, which looks a bit like the Eiffel tower and connects two city parts. When it opened in 1902 it was running buy steam power, but nowadays it runs by electricity.



This is one of the famous Lisbon trams. 



It is a joy to take a driwe with one of the trams, especially in summertime when the windows are open and we can sit an hang our hands or heads outside. 



There is lots of little shops selling traditional handicrafts in the centrum area.

We took the tram to the upper part of the city and walked to see the beautiful view over the city and the river Tejo.



There is nice shady spots to stay and rest a bit in hot days. 




And many interesting lookin narrow alleys and lots of stairs everywhere - Lisbon is built over seven hills.



This is a view from the Parque Eduardo VII. There is beautiful trees growing in the side areas of it.
