Hi, Mom!
Today we take a walk around Moscow and went to the GUM (an abbreviation of "Main-stop shop" until 1921 - Upper Trading Rows) - a large shopping center (department store) in the center of Moscow, which leaves the main facade of the Red Square. In GUM we drank real lemonade and snack cakes. So we walked along the shops. In one of the shops was provided a form of Russian Olympic team for the upcoming Olympic Games in London.

Hi all!
Today we went to the Dacha (country, сottage) . Dacha - a vacation home for an urban family, is generally not used by its owners for permanent residence. In Russia and the former Soviet Union as the villas are called simple plywood construction with no facilities on six acres of land and capital structures of large area on the plots in hectares or more. In a small Dacha Triss in the north of Moscow region. Now in Russia, the season of berries and we went to feast on berries.
There we met with a toy mouse Mozart. Mozart lives in the country. Sylvia and I told him about our trip around the world and he also wanted to travel. Peter gave us the red currants and strawberries. Still, he wanted to show us a live frog, but it was very hot and they're all hiding. In the evening drove me home to Moscow three.

Hello Mom!
Today we walked to the Manege Square and Red Square. With the Manege Square overlooking the State Duma - the lower house of the Federal Assembly - Parliament of the Russian Federation.
At the Manege Square many fountains. One of them is in the form of a map of Russia and the clock moving. With the Manege Square, we went down to the Eternal Flame and the famous Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin walls.
At the Red Square was the construction of the cadet corps, which we have seen.

Tsaritsyno, Moscow, Russia - 19th July 2012
By: Trissa
Hello!
Today we were walking in a big company Tsaritsyno.
Tsaritsyno palace and park ensemble, covering an area of 100 hectares, is located on hilly terrain crossed by ravines, in place of the former estate of princes Kantemirov and inherited some of its features. Tsaritsano is the most important monument of the so-called "Russian Gothic" (pseudo-) on the establishment of a royal residence for over 20 years experience in a series of two of the most famous architect of his era - Vasily Bazhenov and Matvei Kazakov. Tsaritsyno - the largest in Europe, the pseudo-Gothic building of the XVIII century, and only the palace complex, designed in this style.
I really liked the Palace and the Church ...

Moscow, Russia - 30th July 2012

Hi all!
Today, I was near the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Temple - the largest in the Russian Church. Designed for 10,000 people.
The original church was erected in memory of the Napoleonic invasion, "the preservation of the eternal memory of that unprecedented effort, loyalty and love for Faith and Fatherland, however in these hard times extolled the Russian people themselves, and to mark our gratitude to Divine Providence for saving Russia from threatening her to death "[1]. It was built by architect Konstantin Ton. Construction lasted nearly 44 years: the church was laid September 23, 1839, consecrated - May 26, 1883.
December 5, 1931 the church building was destroyed. Rebuilt in the same place in 1994-1997.
Now Temple has become particularly well known in connection with the case of the four girls who call themselves the punk band "Pussy Riot". February 21, they wore masks, and sang a song at the altar of political content. Now the court passes over them.

Moscow, Russia - 2nd August 2012
By: Trissa
Hello!
Today Triss showed one of the most interesting of the Moscow metro stations.
Station "Revolution Square" opened March 13, 1938. The station is the work of the architect Dushkin and has the status of the identified cultural heritage site. The name has the same name space (up to 1918 it bore the name of the Resurrection).
The decoration of the station used the black marble of the Armenian "davalu", combined with white, gray and golden marble of other breeds. The station hall is illuminated by two rows of round chandeliers-flat "plates".
Narrow passages between the base of the pylons are decorated in a steep semi-cylindrical arches, resting on low broad pedestals. On these pedestals 76 bronze sculptures depicting the Soviet people. All figures (except for figures of pioneers) in order to fit in a limited volume of the vaulted archway, depicted either embarked on his knee, or bending over, or sitting. In this regard, said that the statue represents the image of the Soviet people - "it's all or sitting, or kneeling"

Karlsruhe, Germany - 21st August 2012
By: zauberaeffle
Hi Mom,
Today, I am after a long journey arrived safely in Karlsruhe. Here it is pretty hot.
When I crawled out of the envelope I saw Mr. Spike, who was very happy that I have arrived. Now he has someone, who plays with him.
Also from the rabbits I was greeted warmly. I then set out on the balcony with Mr. Spike. From the balcony you have a great view of the church.
Then I looked at the home of my host mum. Are there many bears ... One bear was probably 1000 times bigger than me and the other bear was wearing a police uniform. Everyone here is very friendly to me. My host mum told me that bears are her favorite animal and she collects them.
My host mum is very excited about me.
Unfortunately in the apartment are not much purple things. I believe that I will still feel very comfortable here.
Mr. Spike then showed me his sleeping place. Since I was very tired, I just laid in it with Mr. Spike.
Greetings Viola

Karlsruhe, Germany - 24th August 2012

Hi Mum,
today Mr. Spike an I wanted to go with my host mum to the Rhine. Where we wanted to go, it is very beautiful, as you can see a lot of ships and also has a view of the harbor in Karlsruhe.
Unfortunately the weather has taken a spanner in the works. Just as we drove away there was a thunderstorm and it rained heavily.
We went to the video store to rent a movie for tonight. I would rather something fun Mr. Spike wanted a thriller. We took both. In addition to the video library, the fire station. There was a big car with a crane. I would have gladly taken a closer look, but it did not stop raining.
Then we went to visit the parents of my host-mom.
Unfortunately we could not play in the garden because it was still raining. In the garden were many beautiful flowers. Customised the purple it did to me. Despite the rain, I had to look more closely at me. Since it did not stop with rain, then we went home.
My host mum told me that we will make up the trip in any case.
Many love greetings Viola
