Travelog for: Klaus

München, Germany - 24th December 2006

By: Pandamao

Hi there,

I am Klaus, just found/born around Christmas time. My guardian has been a bit slow to activate me (she is even worse with pics) but then I've already had a nice trip in Germany. She seems to be the active type, going on and off on trips. So it does not look too bad for a toyvoyager being with her for a while.
More later,
see you

Klaus

Frankfurt, Germany - 28th December 2006

By: Pandamao

Took a train to Frankfurt and met up with Klaus (the guy with whom I am supposed to go on a round the world trip). And guess what? I found out that it's going to take me years to fulfill one of my life missions .... wait till you see the photo of Klaus, then you'll know. But I have to say, he looks really cute. I guess, I'll just have to be patient for a while.

Wangerooge, Germany - 31st December 2006

By: Pandamao

We have moved further North and now I am celebrating New Year's Eve on the island of Wangerooge (North Sea). I had a lot of walks at the beach. However, there is a lot of wind and I hardly venture out of my guardian's pockets.

Maisinger See (Starnberg), Germany - 18th February 2007

By: Pandamao

Today we walked from Starnberg to the Maisinger See - a nice little lake in the South of Munich. It was great being out and having the sun shine on my fur.

Heidelberg, Germany - 25th February 2007

By: Pandamao

Had to go to Heidelberg because my guardian took a course in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Well, the theory was ok but when she started practising acupuncture on me and sticking a ton of needles into my body I was not so convinced if this really cures illness  :(

Besides learning all those acupuncture points I also had time to do a bit of sight-seeing. This is the Heidelberg castle.

Ammersee, Germany - 31st March 2007

By: Pandamao

It was a nice day for March and I cycled round the Ammersee with the bike today. I was really exhausted - hadn't trained in months ...

Possenhofen and Starnberg, Germany - 1st April 2007

By: Pandamao

We went out with the S-Bahn today to Possenhofen at the Starnberger Lake. It was a great sunny day. When we were walking there we found a spot with lots of Bärlauch - or bear's garlic in English. I could not prevent it - my guardian started picking heaps of bear's garlic.
Later in the day we met up with Pandamao's friends in Starnberg and strolled along the lakeside. They said that probably bear's garlic tastes nice ... but it (or the smell of it) can make Pandamao very lonely - the whole car smelled like garlic on the way back to Munich  ;)

Munich, Germany - 3rd April 2007

By: Pandamao

Had cannelloni filled with mozzarella, cream cheese and loads of bear's garlic today  :D Great taste! Can't wait to have the bear's garlic quiche tomorrow .... even if I'll be lonely for a while.

Seeberg, Germany - 9th April 2007

By: Pandamao

I had to get up early today and drive South to go hiking. We went all the way up to the "Seeberg". Th weather was exceptionally good for the Easter weekend  and I had a lot of fun. Here are some views from the Seeberg.

Riederstein, Germany - 14th April 2007

By: Pandamao

The weather is great - warm and sunny, not like the usual April weather. So I've been dragged out again on a hiking tour. We went to the Tegernsee and made a tour to the Riederstein. From the bottom it is impressive to see that little chapel right on top of the rock. Pandamao told me it is only 90 minutes walking - ha, ha, it was quite steep for a little leopard and what I did was more like crawling up this moutain. But I made it and had a wonderful view from the top.

.... and guess what happened .... we passed another spot with bear's garlic ..... I had to carry the smelly bag with bear's garlic all the way back to Munich

Iffeldorf, Osterseen, Germany - 15th April 2007

By: Pandamao

The weather still felt like summer and I was told that we would have a lovely day at the "Osterseen" (Easter lakes). These are about 19 little lakes in the South of Munich, about one hour drive. They constitute a nature reserve but there are still a lot of people walking, cycling and even some places where you can swim. Because it was so warm there were even now some people trying to swim in the lake - and it's only mid April! We walked for several hours from lake to lake passing the little village of Iffeldorf. What a great day!

München, Germany - 22nd April 2007

By: Pandamao

No trip this weekend but I had a nice chat with some of my extended family - this Sunday was family day. The pic shows me in the right front - on the left is my twin sister Klaudia. The one in the right corner in the back is my oncle (can you see the family resemblance?). The others are distant cousins.

München, Germany - 26th April 2007

By: Pandamao

Today my cousin Manfred came to see me. Usually he is busy all the time, always working overtime. To be quite frank with you, I think he is quite a snob, carrying a golf ball all the time. He pretends to be a big guy in the security business, keeping all the company secrets in Pandamao's office safe.

München, Germany - 27th April 2007

By: Pandamao

Today when I went to get the mail there was a small and bulky envelope stuffed into the mail box! Who is it? Who is visiting? Alpina and I could hardly wait to welcome our first traveling toyvoyager friend. It was Björn Bangsi. He said he was very happy to be back in Munich.

Flaucher Beer Garden, München, Germany - 29th April 2007

By: Pandamao

Strolled down the Isar river with Björn Bangsi and ended up in the Flaucher Beer Garden. We had a Mass (that is one litre of Beer) each and Björn told me some stories of his student days in Munich. Alpina had not joined us as she was trying on her jewellery.
