Beijing, China - 14th April 2013

Finally, spring is coming. Although the temperature still fluctuates.
This weekend we went to a suburb in north of the city. On the way, we found that trees became green. It is a convincing sign of spring. Pink and white flowers can be saw on the hillside too.
Another important thing is I saw part of the Great Wall. This part of the Great Wall is beside a dam. Maybe it is not so magnificent as other parts, but it is very special. Because the dam, the Great Wall is just at the side of a lake.

Nanjing, China - 10th June 2013
By: qball
Hi~ Guess where I am. Nanjing, another big city in China.
Thanks for the development of railway, we got here in 4 hours. The speed of the train is about 300km/h. We visited ruins of a palace, and walked along a famous river.
The palace is not exist now. We could know it must be magnificent. Because a similar palace like it is the Forbidden City in Beijing. Luckily the high city wall here has not destroyed much.
There are many classical architectures along the famous river, for example Confucius temple. But we didn't have a visitation because there were so many people. We just walked around and had a rest.

We finally went out for a walk, after a long long time.
The temple of heaven is not far from us. So after super, we went there. In the old days, the emperor would come here, offer sacrifices and pray for a good harvest on the day of the winer solstice.
