Travelog for: Iggy-Korn

I'm a rocker through and through. I like wearing rock clothes and usually hang badges on them up. I've got many rock bands badges but also anarchist badges. As many teenagers, I'm a rebel indeed !

Look at my nose ! Not long ago, I went to "BIOTEK" (a famous piercing shop here in Toulouse) and I've got myself pierced ! It did not hurt me, and I'm ready to start doing it again ! I wish I had 3 piercings at my left ear and one at the arch of the eyebrows !

Every morning, I'm doing my hair with gel. I spend a long time in the bathroom, as it is arduous to obtain such a comb ! I look like the punks in the 70's, don't you think ?

I play electric guitar. I've got 2 of them. I also began to take drums lessons. When I play, my neighbours are getting mad, but I don't care at all !! I also like listening to rock or metal music very loud !
As you can see, my bedroom walls are plastered with posters of my favourite bands.

Last month, I went to see Indochine (a French rock band). I already saw them on October, but I was impatient to see them again even so and I had bought his ticket long time ago to be sure to attend the gig !

I never seat down when I go to see a concert. I prefer to be in the middle of the sit ! I won't say that I dance, but I lean my head back and ahead according to the rythm of the music. I also like crowd surfing, that means I jump into the crowd (as some rock stars sometimes do) and I'm being passed overhead from person to person !

I'm playing football as a hobby. I'm most of the time goalkeeper, and occasionally winger. I tacke like a God !
I support England, especially the team of Chelsea. I wish I could see a match in England and go to the pub with others supporters after the match, but I would be happy to see any match in any country too !

I like watching football or series on TV (I can spend hours lying on the sofa or hanging around...) Of course, when I'm watching TV, I usually eat at the same time, and I can easily say that I don't have a balanced diet at all ! I'm a flesh-eating zebra and all kind of meat suits me: sausages, steak, fried chicken, on which I spread tons of ketchup !

In addition to football, I'm also a motorbike fanatic. I even won a cup when I was 16.
I like to ride with my two best friends, Régis and Jean-Michel, and customized my helmet by myself with a pirate pattern.

This week, there was a Champion League football match on TV that I didn't want to miss for the world. It was Chelsea-Valencia. I had put my Chelsea supporter pull-over, and I watched the match my face glued to the TV screen ! Chelsea won 2-1, you can't imagine how happy I was !

YOU CAN TREMBLE TEXAS !! I'm on my way to Lubbock ! I have just left France today !! I wonder if I will find a hat like JR's one at my size, I would like to impress my friends, Régis & Jean-Michel indeed !

After 2 months (or was it longer?) in my "Personal traveling compartment", I have finally reached Silverwings' house!

Silverwings had read of my wish for a real Texan hat like the one she's always wearing, and she had it ready and waiting for me! Of course, I had to have pictures.



I look like a regular cowboy, don't you think so?

Roo and I went on a walk down by the plia lake today. (According to Silverwings, this lake is normally a cow-pasture, but when it rains it fills with water and turns into a lake.)



Lots of birds come to live at the lake when it's full of water. Today, we were going to try and get a glimpse of a sandhill crane. Roo and I saw lots of tracks from where they had crossed the road.



And I even found a feather that one of the cranes dropped when it was flying away from the lake. (For some reason, they were afraid of us!)

On the way back, Roo and I got to see a genuine West Texas Sunset. (In case you haven't noticed, the land here is flat, so you can see the entire horizon and the sunsets are just georgous!!!)







In the last two pictures, you can see the sunset reflecting on the lake. (The buildings are a shed and the barn at Silverwings' house.)

I'm going to miss Roo when she leaves. She's been a good friend.

Today Roo and I went on an adventure! (Ok, ok, we didn't even leave the house, but it was COLD outside!)

It all started when I noticed that one of the doors was different.



We stood at the door and wondered why it looked that way and what could possibly be inside.



Then Roo noticed that the door was open just enough for two toyvoyagers to slip inside. So......of course we had to go in!



What we saw inside was almost unbelieveable!
