Today morning we got up at 5 a.m.- very early! It's because we had our bus to Tomsk. Tomsk is another Siberian city- a very old one. It's more than 400 years old. It took us about 5 hours to get there by bus. We like the city very much, because it has beautiful architecture, lots of churches, old wooden houses.

It is surrounded by a beautiful garden. We saw squirrels  there!


And we found two stone ancient idols that were brought from Altai:




Look what a lovely sculpture of a cabbage and a baby! Small children in Russia think that they were found in a cabbage or were brought by a stork ) This sculpture stands near the maternity hospital.

We found a very old chemistry in Tomsk. It was build in the 19th century.

We enjoyed our trip very much! What a pitty that we had only one day in Tomsk!

Today we've visited the exhibition of flowers and gardens. It was very interesting - we saw many beautiful flowers there!

Today we went to the Novosibirsk Zoo. We went there by the children's railway. It's interesting that it's a real railway, only small and only children work there. It's about 5 km long and the train runs with the speed of 10 km/h.












In the zoo we could see many animals like deers, monkeys, tigers and lions, leopards, different bears, etc. The Zoo is very big and it's situated in the pine forrest.























And this ligr was born from a tiger and a lion. It's a girl and she lives in a cage with a lion.

Today our friend Hector is leaving us and going to his next host Fiona to South Africa. Good bye, Hector! We will miss you very much, but we hope we will meet again soon!

Today we've visited the Air Show in the Airport "Severny".


It was a great show! We could see many planes there, helicopters and parashutists!

Today Elizabeth is going home. We all feel happy for her, but we will miss her very much! Bye dear Elizabeth! I hope we will meet again some day

Today Oksana showed us some very old wooden houses that were built in Novosibirsk at the beginning of the XX century-1901-1908. They still look very nice!

Autumn has come here. It's clowdy and rainy, but today it was rather warm, so we went to the park for a walk. There we found some oaks and gathered acorns:

Today is my last day in Novosibirsk and in Russia, because tomorrow Oksana will send me to my next host in the USA.
Meanwhile she took me and Smith to her meeting with ladies who make handmade teddy bears. Here we are:


















We had a very nice time, met many toys, chatted and drank coffee and ate panecakes... And now I feel a bit sad because I will miss Smith very much Anyway wish me a nice trip to the USA

Hi Mom!!! I have just been delivered from the Post Office to Darcie's house all the way from Russia. I am now in Richlands, North Carolina home to the Championship basketball team The Tarheels. I am very tired but very excited to be here.  It is 85 degrees nice and warm today!! I am going to go take a nap with all the other toys that are here.  I will update soon with some photos.

Here are my newest photos! The first one is me arriving and the others are of me and the dogs that live in the house.  Their are two of them.  Thumper is the Pug and Daisy is the Boston Terrier.  I have to stay up with the other toys when Thumper is around other wise she will steal me away!!!  I also got to meet all of the toys that live in the house that do not travel.  As you can see I have a lot of friends.  I went to Greenville today to the University of North Carolina teaching hospital.  Its one of the biggest in the country.  I snuck into the doctors office and you can see me sitting on the exam table.  I also got to drive the car on the way home!!

Last night was the BIG playoffs to see who is going to go to the world series for the American league.  The National League already has the big winner of the Philadelphia Phillies.  Darcie's favorite team The Atlanta Braves did not make it this year into the playoffs so she was rooting for The Tampa Rays to beat the Boston Red Sox.  We all gathered around the TV with my new favorite snack.. Chedder cheese Pringles!! If Florida would of won then they would of advanced right to the world series!!! Florida was winning 7 to zero against the Boston Red Sox BOOOO!!!!  Darcie does not like the Boston red sox and either do the other toys in the house.  Anyways the game got very exciting and Boston caught up and tied the game.. then they got one more run and they won.  We stayed up till 1 am watching the game and tommorro is the next game and we are hoping The Florida Rays will win!!  Here are some photos of me and my friends watching the game!! Towards the end you can see Big Papi getting interviewed, he is a star hitter for The Boston Red Sox and got them going back with a big home run, hitting in two runs.  Im having a lot of fun here in North Carolina.  Not much going on but Im relaxing and enjoying my new friends.

Hi Mom! Last night The World series started! The Philadelphia Phillies against The Tampa Bay Rays.  We stayed up till 1am and The Phillies won game one.  They will play the best out of seven games.  Im rooting for the Tampa Bay Rays to win!! I also am getting ready for Halloween!! Darcie lives in a big neighborhood where a ton of kids will be by dressed up in costumes going Trick Or Treating.  The kids will come to the door and ring it and then say *trick or treat* then they will get lots of candy.  I went to Walmart with her to buy the Candy and wow its going to be a fun night! Usually Darcie decorates up the entire house but since her husband is away she could not get up in the attic to drag down all the heavy boxes! we are still going to have so much fun I am going to help hand out Candy to all the kids! here are some photos of what I did today.  Not much is going on but Im having a fun time.  I sat next to the Halloween flowers that Darcie got from her mom who lives out in Sacramento, California, I went and watched the Fish swim in the tank and then I went out to the garage and got on the Scooter and a Dirt Bike! Dont I look cool on the dirt bike? I want one now   I had so much fun!! Hope you are well mom and talk to you soon!

A few nights ago the Philadelphia Phillies won the world series! Me and the other toys all watched and it was sooo exciting to see the team at the end of the game because they were sooo happy!! Last night was Halloween! I handed out candy and I also ate some Butterfingers, Paydays, Crunch bars and my new favorite Whoppers!!  It was very cold so Darcie made a fire for us to sit in front of and stay nice and cozy.  I saw lots and lots of kids in costumes.  I saw lots of scary ones with light up masks and also lots of Disney costumes like Cinderella and Sully from Monsters Inc.  Halloween is really fun!!
