Arrived safely at my new home. I was immediately given the 'taste test' by some small pink thing I have since found out to be a baby. Luckily she only wanted to taste my ID tag, phew, I had visions of my nose being chewed off.
I was then made to go outside and pose for photographs, I smiled, but don't they realise I'm tired from my journey?
Now resting comfortably propped up against a computer monitor. I have one eye open checking out my surroundings, but everything seems good so far.

Well it's been 24 hours in my new home and I think I'm going to like it here. I have a few reservations about that thing they call a baby. i had a close call when I found myself heading down the back of the sofa, but my new mum saved me.
I almost got myself into trouble last night, but luckily this big hairy thing with teeth, that I've since found out is called a dog, took the blame.
It was difficult to explore my surroundings yesterday as there were people around all day. When night time came, they all went to bed, so I thought woohoo time to go exploring! I'd spent some time wandering round, checking things out when I hear my mum coming downstairs. I was in the middle of the living room floor and there was no way I could run back to where she'd left me, so I just lay down where I was hoping she wouldn't see me.
Of course, she spotted me and asked "how on earth did you get there?" Well I didn't answer obviously, and she blamed the hairy thing with teeth and told him off and said that he wasn't allowed to touch me. Haha, I got away with it. I did feel a bit guilty that hairy thing with teeth got into trouble, but that's life I guess.
Wonder what's on the cards for today.

Well I made some new friends yesterday. Here's a picture of the three of us together.
The big white teddy is lovely and soft, great for a cuddle, but I have been warned that the thing they call baby is quite partial to her and often gets dragged around the room, but apparently in return, gets lots of cuddles and 'baby' kisses. These kisses often involve teeth and slobber, but the white teddy doesn't mind them.
I thought the pink bunny was really cute and thought I'd try my luck (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) only to find out that the very cute pink bunny is called Sebastian!
So I put on my gruffest, manly voice and said I was sorry for feeling his bum while he wasn't looking. I mean, how do you tell a guy you thought he was a girl? It's his own fault for being pink! I think we'll be good friends now we've sorted things out.
Didn't do a lot yesterday because it was just far to hot! I had to spend some of the day with my paws in my ears. The thing they call baby made a helluva racket this afternoon. Apparently she was too hot, but boy did she have to make that much noise?
Note to self: invest in some ear plugs.

Last night on my expedition to explore the house I found a guitar! woohoo! I want to be a rock god!
I parked myself up in a corner and gently strummed the most pleasing tune I've ever heard anyone play ever! The hairy thing with teeth didn't seem to agree and sat staring me eyeball to eyeball making a stupid growling noise.
I didn't want my mum to wake up and spoil my mission to become a rock god, so I took the guitar outside and strummed happily to myself in the garden by the light of the twinkling stars.
My rendition of Stairway to Heaven is second to none! Although I was a bit upset when someone yelled out of the window "stop those cats wailing". I didn't hear any cats. They couldn't have meant my guitar playing .... could they?

Arrrghhhhhhhhhh I got caught exploring the garden!! I'm sure mum suspects something, I mean, how on earth do I explain that I was in the garden?
I thought that I'd explore the tropical rain forest in the garden, only to be told, when mum found me, that it's not a tropical rain forest at all, it was a tomato plant!
So I was hauled very unceromoniously out of the tropical rainforest tomato plant and told that I stink! I stink! can you imagine that!
She annouced that I was going to have a bath! no, no, please don't do it to me, don't make me have a bath, I LIKE smelling like tomatoes, honest I do.
But it was worse than that. Mum said I was too small to go in the big 'human' bath, I was going to get a dunking in the bird bath. Do I look like a bird??? She didn't even give me a proper towel, I had to use kitchen paper towel.
So here I am, sat on the edge of the bird bath, dipping my toe in to test the temperature. Note, I still have my clothes on. I wasn't undressing in front of mum, I barely know her I wasn't prepared for her to see her bear bare yet!
The bath wasn't so bad to be honest, as long as she doesn't make a regular occurance of it!

So after yesterday's 'bath' escapade I decided to lie low for a while. If I was caught exploring something else, who knows what she'd have in store for me!
Everyone went out for most of the day, so I did manage to explore a little bit, in peace.
I found a great little hideout, no one will notice me in here!
As you can see, I made another new friend, he's a right cheeky monkey! but seems up for a good laugh. You might notice Sebastian the pink fluffy bunny in the background. I think he's got the hump with me because I've got a new friend. I don't think he's got over me feeling his bum still when I thought he was a girly bunny and up for some fun, or.... he enjoyed it secretly and wanted more.
anyway, a quiet day by all accounts. Even the big hairy thing with teeth left me alone today!

Well this is the last photograph my mum took of me before I left on my travels to Norfolk.
This .... thing.... is supposed to be my new friend! I don't really like the look of that big pink licky thing hanging out it's mouth, it's bigger than me!
I'm just doing a bit of chilling with my new owners before we head off into Europe. I've been promised that I'll see some lovely sites and that I will get time to update you when I get back before going home to my mum for a while.
Now, which is the best shop to go to to get some cool kit for my hols?

Spending some time in Chester for now. See the sights of a Roman city. On my first day I tries my hand at working in Barnardo's charity shop. It was wonderful. Everyone was really friendly and I felt like I was doing something worthwhile!
