Dear friends,
now I´m arrived in Neumünster where my new friend Krabby waited for me. The other host Hermann is on his way to Austria, so I can't meet him for this moment!
It´s very nice here, I´m glad to get out of this dark box and see more of Neumünster! And what should I say? Yesterday in the evening when my new host got me from the post office it started to snow a lot!
Now the whole city is white and we try to make some nice picures, especially at a pharmacy. My new host Anja wants to take me to her work at a ticket shop and the tourist-information of Neumünster. I think it´s the best start for me!
Be sure, that I´m happy here! You´re in my heart, Dolivia

Hello,
I´ve had my first round in Neumünster. It was very interesting to see Anjas work. After the whole day sitting in here office we made a visit at the "City Apotheke" where the owner allowed us to take some pics. Here they are!
In the next days I want to escort Anja to all the daily things she has to do. Maybe her son Tom-Robinson would take me with his bike for a ride, but in this moment the weather is very ugly. We´ve got a lot of rain and its very windy.
Anja & Tom-Robinson got two very nice cats. I´m very curious to take photos with them, but here the first ones in Neumünsters city.
Deat "Oberhofer", it´s very nice here, but I think I miss you very much....till soon, yours Dolivia

Here is the home of real football fans! The Christmas tree, the childrens room, the car, the kitchen........everythings is full of stuff from the "Hamburger SV", Anjas and Toms favourite team. But it was very funny to sit as a green TV in a blue tree......

Here are some pictures with the 2 cats of Anjas family. It was possible to ride the cat called "Gutschie" and to sit near by the very shy cat "Cindy". The looked very stranged, because they never saw a green TV before. So you can see, that I did my homework!

My next homework is done. I sat in Anjas car, which is (for everybody in Neumünster) a football fan car....as you can see the sign in front of which means, that everybody has to shut up and be quiet when Anja drive the car (of course its a little joke in the nort-german slang called "plattdüütsch").

These are the last pics, I put into the diary. Anja took me with to the train station where she waited for her son Tom. He was over the Christmas days at his grandparents and took his first trip alone and for himself from Hamburg to Neumünster.
I want to say thank you for all the things I visited here. It was very exciting and new for me to see some other things rhan chemist shops. But very often I missed my home. Now I´m very curious about the next station in Bad Lippspringe.
Send you lots of love and many hugs! Yours Dolivia

Hallo parents,
yesterday I arrived at Bad Lippspringe. I had almost eaten my whole provisions, but I could give some chocolate and a postcard  from Neumünster  to my new host. We met another toyvoyager,Biba from Kiew,Ukraine. Our hosts know each other very well. Celebrating this we went to a Carribean bar. The cook of the bar wanted to make me part of a salad, but I could escape to the top of a barrel. To calm down, I drank some cocktails. After that  Biba and I had a lot of fun.
This evening we will go to a New Year's Eve. I will tell you the details tomorrow...

Happy new year,dear parents,
I hope you had such an amazing New Year's Eve like I had. Biba and I went with our hosts to a party  in Paderborn. At first we had to watch the New Year's speech of the German chancellor and , of course, "dinner for one". We were laughing the whole time. after our dinner we got Chinese lucky cookies with an written aphorism inside. At midnight there was a wonderful fireworks and we are allowed to light sparklers to greet the new year. For having luck in 2012, Biba and I got a lucky four-leaf clover. Finishing this fantastic evenig we drank one or two glasses sparkling wine together.

Dear parents,
though the weather was bad, I had some exciting days.
After some walks in the rain with functional equipment, I amused myself at home.
First I slid down on the banisters about 500 times.
My next adventure was riding a wild wild horse.
As luck would have it, I met a person as green as me.
Yesterday I helped my host with his do-it-your-self kit.
After this work was done, I had a nice conversation with a friendly old man, who told me that hat had worked very hard too in last December and now he went on holidays for eleven months.
Bye,bye

Dear parents,
yesterday I visited my host at work. He is the boss of an old people home. I helped him in his office as an telephone oeprator and by answering his mails. While taking a break I made a three-and-a half-somersault between two perforators. After that I helped the caretaker of the old people home doing his dangerous work.  After this strenuous and exciting day we had decided to go on holiday at the northsea for a week together with the  toyvoyagers biba and djedi and with nick a friendly bear we met.

Hello my dear parents,
today we started our trip to Waddewarden, a little village near from Wilhelmshaven. We had the job to navigate our hosts successful on their way to the north sea.
When we arrived and wanted to unpack our package, we had a great surprise. Djedi an other toyvoyager had travelled with us as an stowaway. Because he was very gently, we became friends very quickly.
After this exciting day we were very tired and went satisfied to bed.

Dear parents,
today I arrived at my new hosts home.
The first I heard were some voices murmuring which made me little scared. But then my envelope was opened very carefully and many friendly eyes looked at me. All toys came to welcome me  :D
Also "Speedy" the Lemming broke up her sleep for a minute just to say hi to me.
My hostparents told me that I came just in time to help them. On Saturday they want to repaper their flat. I guess that will be quite fun  B)
Will tell you more later

Hey Mum, hey Dad!
As I already told you I was alowed to help my hostparents to repaper their flat. That was sooo funny. I had to mix the wallpaper paste.
It took the whole weekend just to finish one room. Because hostmum and hostdad were so buisy I decided to surprise them with selfmade chocolate icecream. You won't believe how tasty it was to lick out the bowl in the end :-)

Dear parents,
Today was soooo boring because the weather is so bad. Actually we wanted to make little trip into the "Sauerland" but it was raining all the day so we decided to play some games.
The first we played was Texas Hold'em Poker. Entchen und Elchi had no chance - I won every game. In the pics below you can see me winnig with a Full House. To play Poker all the day was to boring. We wanted more action  B) so we played "Jenga". That was little to exciting for me - you'll see why  :(
In the end we made a tricky puzzle. The difficulty is that you don't know what's on the puzzle. You just get some little hints what it could be. Quite fun.

Love,

Today my hostmum's parents came over and brought 2 other TVs with them. They are called Jezyk and Schnatterchen.
They will spend the night at ours because hostmum promised to take us to her work tomorrow  B)

They came just in time. Hostmum and I wanted to clean the rodent cage. Jezyk tried to catch the Lemming with a fishing net. Schnatterchen and I showed him the box which we would catch it with.
When we finished it was already so late that we decided to go to bed. It will become an exciting day tomorrow I guess  :p

Hello again.
As promised, we were allowed to visit my hostmum at her work.
First of all we had a little anatomy lesson. It took us a while because it is quite much to learn - all the bones and muscles.
After the anatomy lesson we were allowed to make a little break. So we had time to make a little soccer match and to take a ride on a small red pony before the training could start.
At the end of the day each of us got a massage - that was so relaxing.
On Monday we make a short holiday in the Netherlands. I am so excited - I can't wait till it's monday.

Dear parents.
Hostmummy had a little surprise for us before we went with her parents to the Netherlands.
Today we went to an icehockeymatch of the local "Iserlohn Roosters".
They played versus "Nürnberg Ice Tigers".
And of course the hometeam won 5:0.
I would love to have made more photos but the players were too fast. Now my voice is little groaky because we were screaming so loud to cheer for the Roosters. But that won't stop me to pack my luggage for the trip.
You will hear more when I'm back.

Hey there at home.
Hostmum told me that my next trip would go to Paris - France. I am so excited but also quite sad because I liked it here. They all were so nice to me.
As a little farewell gift hostum taught me how to knit. After a little while I was able to knit clothes for me so I asked hostmum to show me how to make gaiters for my arms. The nights are still very cold and I don't want to freeze at the poststations.
Well, know I will crawl into my envelope and hope that the trip won't take too long.
You will hear from me when I reached France.

It is a huge building with all the pipes on the exterior of the buildings and in different colours – air/conditioning is blue, water is green and electricity is yellow. Also the staircases are on the exterior and the building is thus very unusual in a historical centre.

First of all we needed to clean the kitchen. Big Glubschi and Creamsheep cleaned the dishes and then me, Creamsheep and Sofia dried them. Then we prepared all ingredients for a delicious pasta with chicken and cream cheese.

I poured some water into the saucepan, Big Glubschi added the salt, Sofia weighted the pasta and Creamsheep turned on the heater. Then we were all eagerly waiting for the results of our hard work. And it was delicious.

A legend says that the clockmaker Hanuš was blinded on the order of the Prague Councillors so that he could not repeat his work in another town; in turn, he broke down the clock, and no one was able to repair it for the next hundred years. According to local legend the city will suffer if the clock is neglected and its good operation is placed in jeopardy.

Then we saw the townhall bulit in the Art Nouveau style with a statue of a Dark Knight (not the one from Batman) in the corner.  Another Prague legend says that it was a foreign knight who came to Prague with his suite and wanted to marry one of Czech girls. The girls refused his love and was interested only in Czech young men. As a hot blooded foreigner he killed her with his sword. Before the girl died she cursed the foreign knight to remain a metal statue for thousand years until an innocent girl does not change him back by a kiss. The bridge is 621 meters long and nearly 10 meters wide, resting on 16 arches shielded by ice guards. It is protected by three bridge towers. The Old Town bridge tower is often considered to be one of the most astonishing civil gothic-style buildings in the world. Next day was announced as a sunny one so we continued our tour de Prague. We walked through a parc admiring the views when suddenly we saw an Eiffel tower. We thought that it was some sort of a teleport that took us to Paris but our host told us that it was not an Eiffel tower but a look out tower on Petrin a 60 metre high steel tower built in 1891. Although it is much shorter than the Eiffel Tower, it stands atop a sizable hill, Petřín, so the top is actually at a higher altitude than that of the Eiffel Tower.

The impressive castle founded in the 9th century is the largest medivela castle in the world with 570metres of length and 128 of width. It was a crowning place of Czech kings and it is now a seat of the Czech president and a house of Czech crown jewels. In the heart of the complex there is a St. Vitus cathedral that contains the tombs of many Czech kings and it is also the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. Today my host took me to Versailles a miraculous castle of Louis XIV called Sun-King. It was Sunday so we had a chance to admire the gardens with all the fountains and music. It was undescribable and I hope we were able to capture some of the atmohpere on the pictures.

Hi there!

I made it safe to Cloppenburg, Germany....man that was a trip. I was pushed around...I am sure some of the other travelers out there did not have a shower for a while...eeeewwww!
Okay as u can see in the following pictures I really wanted to get out of my lil envelope to get some fresh air. I hurried that much that I got stuck in the door. When I finally made it in I was almost exhausted to get out, got stuck again. Luckily my buddy Conrad, he is a cool cat I can tell, came to my rescue. My host showed me my apartment: Very nice in there. Pretty much where the cats live. Some grapes and something to drink was there waiting for me. So what can I say. I feel good and I will take a little nap now. Get back to you later...muaaaaaahhhh!

Okay , its afternoon and NoMi, my host and I decided to take a short trip around Cloppenburg which let us to Texas Airport. Yes you do hear right....wow I am excited. I could swear that Texas is in the United States and the Airport that comes to my mind straight is Dallas/Fort Worth. Well I found out very quick that we did not talk about America here, but hey I have never been at this Texas Airport before and I had nice company, so I did enjoy myself. There was not really much going on...not even a plane on the ground...hmmm we did spend some time on the playground, cause we were told that a plane would arrive in short time. We explored the airport, checked some maps, found out that they have parachuting there also...and then we hurried back to the fence to watch the plane land. Wow that was actually nice to watch. It was time to leave the airport and continue our little journey...but I tell you about that tomorrow.

Hi there!
As I promised yesterday I will tell you what else we found on our little trip. We were still joking about the name of Texas Airport and how funny it actually was to find an airport with that name in Germany, guess where we found each other sitting all of a sudden???????
IN AMERIKA!!!!! Oh my this is totally confusing here in this area. NoMi and I sat down a bit and learned that the name came up in the earlier years when there was still a moor area around this place. There was a little height right here which was surrounded by moor and that made it very difficult for the people to reach the next little town Garrel. Due to the fact that it took so long to get there they said it takes as long as to travel to America...so there u go....more of me tomorrow (o;

Hi there!
Talking of funny places...when we left Amerika we drove straight to Nikolausdorf, which would mean St. Claus Village when u translate it. We were sooooooo excited, I was already counting up all the things that I want for Christmas and we mad a plan to look for Santa all around to be able to give him the wishlist in person. Unfortunately he must have been out...no deer...no sleigh ....no nothing we could find, but now we know where to find him else than at North pole. Christmas time he opens his office we´ve been told and the people there are very busy to answer all his mail. I am curious what we will see next. Bye bye Nikolausdorf and greetings to Santa. Maybe we explore Cloppenburg itself...we didn´t do so far. My host said that u maybe won´t here from me before monday, just so u don´t worry. (o;

Hi there!
Like I promised some news from Germany. My host went out for breakfast on Sunday so we had a little check on downtown Cloppenburg. Sunday 10.00am not much going on there, but now we know a little bit about shopping and where to go. They also have this little river Soeste here. You can see it in the first pictures. We enjoyed breakfast together and had lots of fun. We took more pics, but will show you those ones tomorrow. Huggles :D

Hi there!
Today I want to show some more pics of the exploration in Cloppenburg. We checked out City Hall. On Sundays also a very quiet place. We saw a stone monument infront of the building that was made for "Kinderschutzbund". Maybe you can see one or the other name on the Foto which was written there by different kids from town. They have also a nice little lake with water lilies and other beautiful flowers around. I took a little rest on one of the leaves. More from me tomorrow ;)

Good Morning!
I wanted to show you some more pics today from the city. We went to Stadtpark where we found this funny black/white game. We got all dizzy when it started turning around. Another thing that made our heads turn was the court. Geez we had to think about the things we did over the last weeks and if we did anything criminal. As you can see on the pic, we were very careful first, but then we had a litte chat infront of the side building and finally made it to the doorsteps of the court, cause we very 100% positive that we have been good TVs so far ((o;

Hi there!
Today went to a place of pilgrimage called "Bethen". Its a little village. I hope that you like the pics. Check out the beautiful flowers...nice huh? This area here is a catholic region I learned. The weather is still cold not really summer and rain on top.
As you can see in the pics there is a big church and a little church. We found a pilgrim bible in the big church which we studied for a while. In one picture you can see us with three candles in the back. One was lighten for you. It was a nice little trip and I liked the architecture. I still have fun here with my buddy NoMi who is experiencing all this with me.

Hi there!
Today was the first day when we had more sun than clouds, so we took the chance to go and check out the garden and taking a sunbath. We met some kittens and their mom...watched them eating cat food, played with them, checked the beautiful flowers (I met a bumblebee) out there and played hide and seek. I also showed Showed Nomi some artistic elements hanging from a tree. Nomi mentioned I looked fantastic ((o; Before we went in for Dinner we peeked through the neighbors window, but he was not there (o;

Hi there!
Today we stopped at a place called Staatsforsten. We found that big stone that showed the kilometers to other places. Hahaha can you see how close Amerika is? Remember that is the Amerika I have been already. I took a pic sitting on the big stone there. There was a
colorful old train covert by high grass we visit today. Our host showed us around and we took some pics. Its very sunny today and 30°C. Puuuuhhh we did not stay too long, cause we wanted to drink water, before we left we saw an apple tree, but unfortunately no ripe apples yet.

Hi there!

We did visit the Museumsdorf today. We shot a lot of pics so that we will send them in 3 parts the next days so that you can see how it looks there. We were hoping to see the pigs, but they did not want to come out unfortunately. here is what Wikipedia is telling about the Museumsdorf in short:

The Cloppenburg Museum Village and Lower Saxon Open-Air Museum (German: Museumsdorf Cloppenburg – Niedersächsisches Freilichtmuseum) in the Lower Saxon county town of Cloppenburg is the oldest museum village in Germany. The museum is a research and educational establishment in the field of cultural and countryside history.

The Lower Saxon Open-Air Museum is a non-profit organisation. Although the museum does not set out to compete for visitors, in 2009 the Cloppenburg Museum Village had more visitors than any other museum in Lower Saxony (250,000). In 2004 the visitors included about 60,000 children and young people, who took in what the museum had to offer as part of their school curricula.

Hope u enjoy the pics ...(o;

Hi there!
Yesterday our host was driving us up to the coast. She had some personal business to do there and she she tried to do her best to get some good....FAST....shots from the three places we saw there. We traveled only for one day...but check it out. First we visited a little harbor called Fedderwardersiel. It´s location is at the Jadebusen and the river Weser enters the North Sea at that point which you can see in the background in some of the pictures. We had fun even if the time was short.
We show some more pics of the next village tomorrow ;)

Hi there!
Here are some pics of what they call the "Lagune" in Burhave. Its a place directly at the water where families can have fun. It was build a couple of years ago and its artificial. Here on the beaches the water is coming and going with the time of the day. It is called "Ebbe and Flut".

"Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of the gravitational forces exerted by the Moon and the Sun and the rotation of the Earth.

Some shorelines experience two almost equal high tides and two low tides each day, called a semi-diurnal tide. Some locations experience only one high and one low tide each day, called a diurnal tide. Some locations experience two uneven tides a day, or sometimes one high and one low each day; this is called a mixed tide. The times and amplitude of the tides at a locale are influenced by the alignment of the Sun and Moon, by the pattern of tides in the deep ocean, by the amphidromic systems of the oceans, and by the shape of the coastline and near-shore bathymetry

Now you know what "Ebbe and Flut" is (o;

I will follow up with some pics of Burhave beach in a minute

...here we are again with some beach pics. In the background you can see the open North Sea and on some pics you see the town Bremerhaven on the other side. Bremerhaven was called the last town before you reach NYC in earlier years, cause that´s where you went on board to make it to the USA by ship. We will have some closer pics of Bremerhaven tomorrow (o; Like I mentioned already yesterday we had only a very small time frame for the pics so we did not have that much time to play around, but got a great overview (o;

Hi there!
A day late but here are the last pics from the trip we took last Thursday. We visited Blexen. That´s the village where our host grew up. It was really nice there. On the first pics you can see lookout point from the Blexen bank to Bremerhaven. Those pics are followed by the church and last but not least the little harbor with the ferry boat to Bremerhaven and the old train station building. I hope that you enjoyed all pics about my visit here, cause I am leaving soon to my next host.

Hello my dears
Today, we have welcomed a new guest. It is Troot, a small sweet elephant from Finland. Host mum opened the envelope and each of us wanted to look into it.

What a mess. Troot was a little intimidated. Then he climbed out bravely

and we have warmly welcomed him.

He brought with him a card, Christmas tea and a lollipop.

Hello back home
after three weeks of rain (host mother can not remember such a terrible winter) we were finally able to back outside. No sun but dry. We all wanted to play in the snow. And for snow we had up high, very high. Sledding on Schwägalp was funny.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1061353_zpsf56a7e27.jpg

Then host mum had the idea of visiting the Santis.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1061365_zps7cab0f0a.jpg

So we took the cable car and were on our way to Säntis peak.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1061426_zps705d3cbe.jpg

At the top station we admired an exhibition of various museums around.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1061390_zps1472c330.jpg

Then we reached the summit. It was so cold and windy. Everything was frozen.

This is the weather station.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1061395_zpsc6707e68.jpg

And that's the big TV antenna.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1061411_zps74833ed8.jpg

On our way back we even saw the sun.

Hello mum,
Today we said goodbye to Meomie.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1091450_zpsbd36be7d.jpg

She continues her journey and will visit Germany. We sang a song of farewell

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1091452_zps6bcbcdcd.jpg

and wished a safe journey.

On Saturday we will have a great trip. Host mum will not tell us where we go. All we know is that we take the train, and the rest is a surprise.
I can not wait.

Hello mommy
Yesterday morning we had to get up very early. At 7 clock we sat on the train.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121568_zps59817823.jpg

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121554_zps173d0394.jpg

Our first stop was Zurich. There, we had just enough time to photograph the station

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121465_zps70b7efc8.jpg

and to find out where the journey takes. We will travel to Basel. Basel is one of the oldest cities in Switzerland, located on the River Rhine. The city, near the border with Germany and France is known for its chemical industry. After our arrival in Basel,

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121477_zps6c49ff7c.jpg

we saw only a few steps from the train station Strasbourg Monument

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121483_zps13e8b370.jpg

and the Bank for International Settlements.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121482_zps704f07ea.jpg

Our route took us to Elisabeth church

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121500_zps9ef44e6c.jpg

next to the Theatre. We had a short break at the Tinguely fountain.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121505_zps4fa7e53b.jpg

This fountain, called Fasnacht Fountain was a gift of a great food discounter to the city of Basel.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121506_zpsaa423b41.jpg

Then we saw the Basel Cathedral,

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121508_zps37c34a59.jpg

located on the cathedral hill high above the Rhine. We had a magnificent view of the river and part of the city.

The skyscrapers that you see in the center of the image, is the fair tower.

Through narrow streets

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1121520_zps8b2b4ae6.jpg

we found our way to the river Rhine. We crossed the "Middle Bridge" and could see the old town from the other side.

On our way back we saw the red city hall.

Hello mum,
Troot left us today. He traveled further to new adventures in another part of Switzerland. We had a small farewell party with cupcakes.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1161571_zpsfc719543.jpg

Host dad had secretly eaten a TV Muffin, therefore Troot had to eat a big one.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1161573_zpsa4ad51e8.jpg

Then he packed his things and slipped into the envelope. We all wished him a good trip

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1161579_zps8875b222.jpg

and checked that everything was in order.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1161587_zps50418e4d.jpg

After his departure, some of us also grabbed the wanderlust. We have told a long time from our travels.
Love you mum, bye bye.

Hello home
Yesterday we had another farewell party. HelgaHH will travel back home, and Rocky Raccoon starts his first journey. Host mum baked a cake and took a group photo.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1221667_zpsa4654b03.jpg

We drank one or another glass of wine.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1221661_zps2f9415f1.jpg

Late at night we came upon a sentimental mood. Hase sang with fervor sad songs

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1221671_zpsdbe8027c.jpg

until host mum woke up and reminded us that even more people live in this house who want to sleep now. We had a last drink and went to bed.
This morning it was time. We said goodbye to HelgaHH and Rocky. We gave both a group hug

Yoohoo,
Today a new TV arrived. A sweet dog named Wolley. He is from Guinea and will spend some time with us.
We sat in our basket and told and laughed when suddenly a pointy nose sniffed over the edge.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251674_zps8ca45058.jpg

It was Wolley, who had just arrived. We welcomed him kindly.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251675_zps16f6be1b.jpg

As he slept, he was very tired after his journey, we decided to cook a soup for him. A hot soup would be the right on such a cold day. We had a lot to do. Chop bacon, onions

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251681_zps5c41c323.jpg

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251682_zps7432155e.jpg

and lots of vegetables into small pieces. Fry the bacon and onions. Barley and small white beans are added.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251687_zps416713f2.jpg

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251688_zps29442844.jpg

Then fill with meat broth. And then - charging the battery of the camera. After 1 1/2 hours, we added in the vegetables, stirred,

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P1251701_zps0360f812.jpg

and let cook for another 30 minutes.
For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious soup.

Hello mum,
the weather is going crazy. On Wednesday the sun was shining (as host mum had to work) and it was 14 degrees. Then we had bucketfuls of rain and storm. This morning it started to snow again. Within ten minutes everything was white. No chance to go outside. And then the bad luck, host mum has a torn ligament in the foot. I am a pharmacy TV and I give instructions on how the other have to maintain host mum.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2021732_zps13ca4a21.jpg

We'll get her back on her feet. On both feet.

Until then

Hi mum,
Last night we bet that we are going to have Wednesday's weather. We won. Wednesday's weather means good weather in the morning when host mum works and rain, snow, storm or doomsday when she comes home. Every Wednesday, the same game. But today, something was different. Host mum brought an envelope. We are all long enough TV's to know what that means. A new guest has arrived. Host mum opened the envelope. Curious, we stuck our
noses into it.

Cosily the turtle climbed out and introduced himself.

Hello to all the loved ones at home,

Finally, after many days of bad weather, the sun is shining today. Host mum immediately grabbed us and we went on a winter walk. First we drove a short distance by car.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2141858_zps51052ecf.jpg

Then there was chocolate and sweets.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2141863_zps15741a3e.jpg

Today was beautiful weather. Sun much as you wanted. The best thing was, host mum did not have to work and we could take a winter walk. We walked up and down through the glistening snow.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2141957_zps25d2e3db.jpg

The sky was blue, the sun was shining, what more could you want?

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2141951_zpsc9a2c1ec.jpg

An adventure! On our way we saw the sign to the waterfall. The road, really just a path is a little dangerous. Narrow, steep and icy in the winter. We begged so much until host mum gave her ok. First she checked the phone connection. (In case we need the fire brigade or the helicopter to get us out.) Then it went off.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2141945_zps0b4109ca.jpg

From time to time our heart beat a little faster.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2141949_zps58a5c4a0.jpg

And then we saw the waterfall is an icefall now.

Hello mum,
watch our latest guest. Such a sweet, little sheep.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2192025_zpsc5f8994b.jpg

And so much candy.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2192027_zps950cc949.jpg

We love her.

The sheep and the sweets.

Hello my dears at home,
with a loud roar our newest guest jumped in our quiet life. We were all terribly frightened.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P2212039_zpsf6bd4a37.jpg

A tiger. After the initial shock was over Rico, the tiger has clarified his roar.

He was happy to be out after a long journey from the envelope. He showed us his gift

and we greeted him kindly. He seems to be quite nice,

especially when he purrs.
I miss you all

P.S. It's snowing for days, and unfortunately we can't go outside.

Hi mommy,
what a boring week. Jasper had to work full time, the weather was bad (two weeks with no sun, no more snow, but fog and rain) and host dad was sick. But yesterday we had a lot of fun. We celebrated Lille's birthday.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P3032049_zpsba63c082.jpg

She got a huge cake, a big lollipop and a little sheep. All kissed and hugged her and wished her all the best.

Then she blew out the candle and cut the cake. It was great fun.
I hope that next week things will get better.
Love you mommy.

Hello mum,
I hope you are well. Today we are preparing another farewell party. My farewell party. I will leave Switzerland and go to Greece. With our new Shopping Cart (Jasper brought it last week)

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P3152169_zpsb908c266.jpg

we plundered all the cupboards and found much useful for a party.

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P3152167_zpsf999fd65.jpg

To reach the potato chips was a bit difficult

http://i1324.photobucket.com/albums/u614/Hemming60/P3152184_zps44be459f.jpg

We had almost everything together, just the popcorn was still missing. It was funny to look into the microwave and listen to the popping of the corn.

Fresh, warm popcorn tastes wonderful.

and all hugged me.
