Hey Dad!

I just arrived in Austria!

I was so excited to get out of the envelope and see everything of this new place.
But my host has stopped me immediatly. She has told me that it´s evening and dark outside and i have to wait until the weekend. Then she will show me some things about her village and the country.

And look who i met!! It´s not a TV, because it´s a bit oversize.  ;)
Giraffes are the favourite animals of my host. And that´s the one which lives with her.
My host told me, that we´ll go hiking at the weekend, if the weather isn´t bad. I hope that the sun will shine all day long so i can see the mountains.

Wish you a nice evening and i´ll report again soon.
Bye

Hey Dad!!

How are you?
I´m doing fine here and you won´t believe where i´ve been today!!

Yes! I´ve been in a Burger Restaurant! It was great. I ordered a menu for myself and i managed to eat up everything. It tasted excellent. So i´ve completed one mission....... but...... maybe ...... i could visit an other burger restaurant in an other country??? That would be fantastic. We will see!

Tomorrow my host and i will do a mountain hike. I´m very curious about it.
I´ll report you everything about this big adventure.

Greetings from Austria

Hey Dad!

It´s me again. I had a big adventure today. My host and i started our mountain hike early in the morning. The weather wasn´t as good as expected. There was no sun and the wind blew very, very strong.  But we have managed it and now i will explain the pictures my host took.

1 - as you see i was well prepared for the mountain hike
2 - that´s the mountain - it will last a while until we´re on the top
3 - the brown/black points in the back are "Gämsen" (really don´t know how to translate :))
4 - i have to climb - thank god, there´s a rope
5 - me on the top
6-9 - what a splendid view
10 - i love Austria

It´s been a great day! The mountains are fantastic and there are many of them here in Austria.

Hope you had a great day too!

Hey Dad!!

It´s me again. I´m enjoying my time here.

Today the weather was better then yesterday, but we had no time to go for a hike. We had to bake a lot of things.

As you can see on the pictures below i´m a very good baker. My host agrees, i helped her very much. We baked a cake and many muffins. We´ve done this because tomorrow is my hosts birthday. She´ll make a little party with her colleagues at work and for it she needs these things.

Because i´ve tested so much (all the muffins and the excellent cream --- i really couldn´t stop eating) my belly became globated. I only can roll around ;)

Now i´m watching TV and won´t (better to say - can´t) move anywhere else.

Hope you have a relaxed evening too.

Hey Dad!

How are you?

I´m doing fine. My host had a little party at her work and tomorrow there´s another one. But now she´s at home and has a party with us. We had a sip of sparkling wine. We´re not allowed to drink more, because my host has told us that we´re to young. (but it was a very good drink)
The picture shows me and her TV Mamu. Mamu is new here - he has come directly from the shop and lives her since a few days. I´m having a great time with him, qhile my host is at work.

At Wednesday we´ll have a trip to "Matrei in Osttirol". It´s the village where my host originally come from. We´ll visit her parents and she´ll show me another part of Tirol. It´s about two and a half hour from here. We´ll go there by car and i´m excited to see a new place. We´ll stay there till Monday.

I´ll report you as soon as i can.
Miss you!

Hey Dad!!

I´m in Osttirol at a very nice village. The mountains are higher then in Inzing, but the weather wasn´t good the last days and because of this i could not do a lot.

But look who i met. That´s the cat from my hosts parents. We had a lot of fun, relaxed the whole day and she teached me how to purr. In the meantime i´m very good at purring. I will show you when i´m back at home.  ;)

Today the weather was much, much better. Guess what we´ve done??!! We went for a mountain hike. Only a quick one, because in the afternoon we had to drive back home to Inzing.

In the meantime i´m in Inzing again. It´s been great to see another part of Tirol. I think i fell in love with the alps.  :D

Hi Dad!

After a long trip from Austria to Switzerland, I’m finally arrived! I was really happy that I could jump out of the envelope.

My new host family found the fantastic Milka chocolate and the Mozartkugel (Mozart ball). They say „Thanks you very much“, to the previous host!

My host family promissed to show me the Glasi Hergiswil tomorrow. Glasi Hergiswil is the only glass works in Switzerland where glass is manually shaped and blown into unique contemporary forms. I’m looking forward!

As I told you yesterday, I could visit the Glasi Hergiswil. The Glasi Hergiswil ist he only glass works in Switzerland where glass is manually shaped and blow into unique contemporary forms. We really had fun. I watched the glassblowers at their work. I really liked the shop, because I jumped and stayed on the wonderful glass products! I also enjoyed the wonderful lake view with the mountains. Fantastic…

…but let me show the pictures!

Today I was able to open the third door from the Advent Calendar. I've also marveled at the beautiful Christmas lights.

Dear Dad, I wish you a wonderful advent.

Hi Dad, I like to show you Lucerne. Lucerne ranks amongst the world's prettiest cities, and there is so much to see. Contributing to Lucerne's cityscape alongside the world-famous Chapel Bridge and Water Tower are the KKL culture and convention centre and a host of other sites of interest.

I watched the game FC Lucerne against Servette Geneva at the new Swisspor Arena in Lucerne. My hosts didn't enjoy the game very much, because their favourite team lost the game 1:2. ...but I enjoyed the beer.

We were able to be part of the opening from the new hotel frutt LODGE & SPA. We enjoyed it very much. The new hotel is fantastic. Dad, if you're near here, you have to sleep in in this hotel! The Hotel frutt LODGE & SPA is situated on the sunny high plateau of Melchsee-Frutt at 1,920 m above sea level - surrounded by magnificent nature and Alpine mountains.
