good morning,
This morning I made a small excursion into the environment, Delligsen is really small and does not call itself a village, but marks Delligsen. The medieval right to hold markets (German: Marktrecht) is reflected in the prefix Markt of the names of many towns in Germany and Austria, for example, Markt Berolzheim or Marktbergel. Other terms used for market towns were Flecken in northern Germany, or Wigbold and Freiheit in Westphalia, here there is a pretty little church, as seen in the background Wispe flows through the town as the southwesterly flow of the river Leine by the way, it is very cold this morning, brrrr bye bye.. |

Huhu dad,
Last night I made a trip to Fritzlar, which is a small medieval town in northern Hesse, my host mom was born there, unfortunately it was already dark, so the pictures are a bit mystical The Cathedral of St. Peter is a late Romanesque church in the Old Town of Fritzlar in northern Hesse Schwalm-Eder-Kreis, which was built from 1120 to 1230. The spacious facility features three crypts, which already belonged to the predecessor, which had been built around 1079th. 2004, the church received the title of Papal Basilica awarded minor. after that I warmed up bye bye |

Hello Dad,
On the return trip, we have inserted a small stopover in Hamburg .... we were at the port and I have seen many large ships In the background you see the Elbphilharmonie is a concert hall under construction in the HafenCity quarter of Hamburg, Germany. The concert hall is designed by Herzog & de Meuron on top of an old warehouse (Kaispeicher A). It will be the highest inhabited building of Hamburg In the background is St. Michaelis, colloquially called Michel (Deutsch pronunciation), is one of Hamburg's five main Protestant churches (main churches) and the most famous church in the city. St. Michael's is a landmark of the city. It is dedicated to the archangel Michael. A large bronze statue, standing above the portal of the church shows the archangel conquering the devil. The 132-meter high Baroque spire totally covered with copper is a prominent feature of Hamburg's skyline and has always been a landfall mark for ships sailing up the river Elbe. after our return, we have strengthened us ... yummy ... bye, bye your Wolfgang |

Hello Dad,
I had an exciting weekend .... I could help with baking cookies ... yummy here's my favorite recipe .. 200 g flour 200 g butter 100 g sugar 140 g almonds (s), ground 2 egg yolks ½ teaspoon lemon juice ¼ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground cloves 1 pinch of salt Jelly (currant jelly) powdered sugar preparation Knead the ingredients and refrigerate for 2 hours. Roll out the pastry and cut out meteors. Bake at 150 ° C circulating air about 12 minutes. With hot currant jelly sticking together and dust with powdered sugar...yummy yesterday was the first Advent, so I've been looking at a very nice Christmas book, it says.Twelve Gifts for Santa Claus The book is of Andreas children, but which have long been adults and no longer need it, lucky for me .. Meanwhile, everything is decorated for Christmas ... everything.. I think it's so cozy in here, but I have to go out again soon ... and I look at the outside decoration ... ups I think Santa has forgotten his coat and his cap here too .... Well, look now at the store, after the decoration ... pretty well ... The Christmas tree is upside down .... Dad, have you seen the other animal, on some photo it has simply pushed into the picture, I have no idea who that is ... but also seems to be a rat ... let's see if she tells me her name .. . I'll tell bye, bye your Wolfgang |

Hello Dad,
my last day in Delligsen, so we made a little trip to the Glasebachteich with Dr.Kröbner and Misslucy, while we passed on a swing and a slide, the slide down is unfortunately failed, but nothing happened. Daddy, did you know that there are strange birds in Lower Saxony? In the picture with the swing, you see him in the background ... We have spent some time on the bench and told us veeery much. then we have gone a bit into the woods only a bit,.... then I again enjoyed the view over the lake On the way back we discovered a tree stump, I was a bit curious and have looked, not only I, as you see .... very strange, a tree from the inside ... Have you seen the strange bird again.... bye, bye Dad, see you soon, your Wolfgang |
