Isiliel Posted Oct 26, 2011, 5:13 pm |
Hi mum and dad!
I arrived safely in Berlin and got unpacked by my hostmum and her Toy. It's a little bear called Mr.Fluffs. He was very astonished because I am so much bigger than him, but we soon had to talk a lot about traveling and other stuff. Because the weather is really bad and my hostmum has to work quite a lot we stayed inside to play some games. Pictures follow soon! And we were promised that we will do a lot of sightseeing on Satureday an Sunday. |
Isiliel Posted Oct 26, 2011, 5:29 pm |
Look what I found! My host mum keeps a funny cat called "Pummel". He is quite shy and hid immediately when he noticed me sitting up there. I guess he's never seen a big mouse like me! |
Isiliel Posted Oct 29, 2011, 5:49 pm |
Hi mum and dad!
Today we took a little tour around Berlin together with CrazyFace. First point to see was the Pergamon Museum which you can see in the back. It's quite famous and a lot of tourists are around here all year. |
Isiliel Posted Oct 29, 2011, 5:51 pm |
This is the Dome of Berlin. In this autumn weather it looks really really beautiful, doesn't it? In front of it is a green meadow where people sit in the sun, read, do some musik or dance, it's really amazing to watch! |
Isiliel Posted Oct 29, 2011, 5:53 pm |
Beneath the Dome there ist the so called "Old Muesum". Well, it indeed does look old, but I don't have any Idea what they show in it? Maybe we will visit it, if we can find some spare time. At least we took a picture from outside |
Isiliel Posted Oct 29, 2011, 6:12 pm |
Wheeeeee look at the Fernsehturm It's one of the buildings you can see from nearly the whole city when good weather.... okay, not in the surroundings for sure, but from most places! Also you can see the towe of the Red Town Hall on the right side of the picture. Isn't it just awesome weather? I am really looking forward because tomorrow we will take another trip outside. |
Isiliel Posted Oct 31, 2011, 8:14 pm |
Hi Mum and Dad! Even if most people do not know it: Berlin has a huge amount of green places all around. Our Host Mum was a bit sad because the weather was so grey, but she said well, it's autumn. So what shall we do about it
Maybe you can see Crazy Face too, he's sitting n me so we could both take part of this picture. Lot's of greetings! |
Isiliel Posted Nov 2, 2011, 7:47 am |
Today I sat on the back of a bear! Well, we wanted to have a look at the "Bärenschaufenster" at the Tierpark Berlin, but there weren't any bears. So we took a picture with this bear instead. You know, if you are in Berlin you have to take a picture of at least one bear |
Isiliel Posted Nov 5, 2011, 6:40 pm |
Hey Mum and Dad!
Today we took a little ride at the bike. I was in the backpack because it was reaaaaally cold although the weather is beautiful. We took a break at the Tierpark Berlin, which was quite full. As you can see on the picture there are some nice animals..... okay, this one is not real, but it looks nice! I guess I'm comin' home soon because my host mum is going to move and she soesn't want me to get lost in all the stuff standing around Love Ya! |
Isiliel Posted Nov 8, 2011, 4:05 pm |

Dear Mum and Dad,
Today I arrived on my new host in the west of Germany, far away from my last host, Berlin. It was a long journey and I'm exhausted because of that. But if I've looked outside my box there was some new toy friends to welcome me! I looked around at my new environment. It's all so green and full of grasslands and forests. Then I've visited the other dwellers on here |
Thaifun Posted Nov 15, 2011, 3:43 pm |
Today I visited Westerburg.

You have to go this way without any footwear to feel the different grounds under your feets like grass, sand, stones or something. For this season the forest are full of red leaves! We saw the "Nypmphenburger Schloss", some little nice buildings and the "Monopteros". It was very, very cold and it started snowing again. So we couldn't see the hole park. It's really a big park! Here are the pictures: |

Hello!
Today I am going to Paris. I hope there is good weather. |
Krtecek Posted Jun 13, 2012, 10:05 pm |
I have finally reached Paris and now I am enjoying this beautiful city. Today my host took me to visit the Notre Dame a famous Parisian cathedral on the island in the river Seine that flows through Paris. |
Krtecek Posted Jun 13, 2012, 10:06 pm |
Then we walk to the Latin District where we visited Pantheon a burial place of famous French philosophers writers and politicians |
Krtecek Posted Jun 13, 2012, 10:09 pm |
And in the afternoon we took the metro to visit La Defense. A business district on the west of Paris completely built from scratch. There is a famous Grande Arche and a headquarters of most big French and international companies. |
Krtecek Posted Jun 13, 2012, 10:12 pm |
As it was a nice day we decided to visit Chateau de Vincennes on the east of Paris. It is one of the last medieval fortresses in the area of Paris. It is dominated by a tower and a gothic cathedral, both protected by a massive fortification wall. |
Krtecek Posted Jun 13, 2012, 10:15 pm |
In the evening we visited Montmartre a bohemian district of Paris that was and still is the home of painters, singers, dancers and other artists. It is also place of popular bars and cabarets, the most known being Le Moulin Rouge:
The entire district is dominated by the basilique Sacre Coeur built at the end of 19th century on the only hill of Paris. |
Krtecek Posted Jun 13, 2012, 10:18 pm |
First sunday of month is a day when the museums in Paris are free. We have thus decided to visit the most famous one - Le Louvre with its glass pyramid.
And in the afternoon we took a train to Versailles to see the beautiful gardens of Louis XIV - Sun King. Every Saturday and Sunday, the fountains in the garden are on and the music made us feel as if we were back in the age of Louis XIV. |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:40 pm |
Dear mum,
Today was the last day in Paris as our host is moving to another town (what an adventure). We visited the City Town Hall (Hotel de Ville) which is a very beautiful building next to the river Seine. Nice place to say goodbye to Paris. |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:42 pm |
We have finally reached our final destination. Our new home is Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Today we visited the area around the river Vltava, we saw the panorama of Prague Castle and also the National theatre with the golden roof and at night we could admire the Dancing house all lit up. Did you know it was inspired by Fred Astair and Ginger Roberts? |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:44 pm |
Our steps today led us to Vysehrad where once used to be a castle and a fort. Today there are only the fortified walls with a magnificient view and also the neo-gothic church dating to the end of the 19th century. The oldest part of the area is the rotonde of saint Longin that dates to the 11th or 1ěth century. |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:49 pm |
To keep fit we decided to go for a biking trip. We took the bikes and rode through the woods where we also got some food to have the strength to continue. We also saw a historical mill and also the castle and parc of Lany, the summer residence of the Czech president. As a reward we got to eat the real Czech food in a real Czech pub. |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:51 pm |
Today we went to visit the Czech countryside. The rocktown of Prachovske skaly is very famous geographical and natural reservation. We had to walk quite a few kilometres up and down the rocks but the views were definitely worth it. All of the rock statues and deep valleys. A real jewel.
And in the middle of all of it we saw the castle Kost (the Bone). |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:52 pm |
To get a break from all the nature and hiking we decided to visit Cesky Krumlov, a town in the south of the Czech republic that is protected by UNESCO as a world heritage. It was beatiful. The medieval town is surrounded by the river Vltava that meanders around it. The streets are narrow and the houses are more than 500 years old. Alla long the river, there are fish restaurants with fresh fish and traditional Czech drink – pivo (beer). |
Krtecek Posted Aug 23, 2012, 7:53 pm |
Above the city of Cesky Krumlov there is a large castle that is visible from all over the city with its colourful tower. Also the inside walls of the castle are full of colours dating to the period of rennaissance. And the view….What a beauty. Behing the castle there is a French style garden with fountains and statues. |

The entrance has some pretty funny scenes of Santa and his elves. I loved all the lights, especially as seen from the Ferris Wheel and the Christmas tree was huge! Though we didnt take pictures for fear the camera would fall, I did ride all the rides after I got rid of my fear. I had such a nice time with my new friends. |
winksnana Posted Feb 14, 2013, 2:56 am |

We started off putting dirty dishes in the dishwasher; putting clothes away, putting the couch cover on, made the bed, and even put the dishes away!! I helped put some groceries away, put recyclables away and even played with the puppies on my downtime.
After helping with all the chores, I got to pick the show we watched on TV!! =) Had to drink some water and sat by the window watching the beautiful weather! Miss you!!! Much Love, Erika |

Hey!! Nothing much has been going on here but we did have a movie night. We watched “Hitch” and “Couples Retreat”. They were good movies and fun to hang out with everyone! Kasimir, Pit, Bambi, NoMi and I had an awesome time together!
Meet Hitch (Will Smith), New York City's greatest matchmaker. Love is his job and he'll get you the girl of your dreams in just three easy dates, guaranteed! And that's exactly what happens when Albert Brennaman (TV's Kevin James, "The King of Queens") wins the heart of gorgeous society heiress Allegra Cole (supermodel Amber Valletta). So when tabloid columnist Sara Melas (Eva Mendes, Stuck On You, Once Upon a Time in Mexico) decides to uncover the secret behind the tubby schlub's success, she's shocked to discover that Alex Hitchens, the charming young man she's been seeing, is the legendary date doctor himself. Exposed in a front-page scoop, it's now up to Alex to try to save Albert and Allegra's relationship as well as his own. Which only goes to show that just when you think you've found true love, there's always a HITCH. A comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort's therapy sessions is not optional. Let’s see what fun is next!! =) xoxo |

We went to Target today! The first Target store was opened in 1962 in Roseville, Minnesota. Target grew and eventually became the largest division of Dayton Hudson Corporation, culminating in the company being renamed as Target Corporation in August 2000. In 2013, Target expanded into Canada. Target is a chain of discount stores that are about 95,000 to 135,000 square feet and carry hardlines, softlines (clothing), and a limited amount of groceries, mostly non-perishable. Specifically, Target stores carry clothing, shoes, jewelry, health and beauty products, electronics, compact discs, DVDs, bedding, kitchen supplies, sporting goods, toys, pet supplies, automotive supplies, and hardware supplies. They also carry seasonal merchandise such as patio furniture during the summer and Christmas and Chanukah decorations during November and December. Many stores, depending upon location, may also have Target Optical, Target Clinic, and a portrait studio. Most new locations built after 2004 include Target Photo, Target Pharmacy, Starbucks Coffee, Jamba Juice, and/or a Pizza Hut Express standard in addition to "Target Cafe". It has also been reported that Cold Stone Creamery and Target have signed a deal to test in-store ice cream shops in three stores.[52] In early 2010 Target updated all references from "Food Avenue" to "Target Cafe".
We went to Starbucks Coffee for some refreshment. =) Lets go shopping!!! |
