Jillyfish Posted May 25, 2012, 5:19 am	Hello! I have finally arrived in the USA! Whew! It was a long trip. And my mailing package almost came open! The post office put me in plastic to keep me safe.  But I'm safe and sound now. I received a warm welcome by Priscilla, who is also visiting Minnesota. It's kinda gloomy outside today, and it's raining like crazy! We found a big puddle to play in!  We took a little walk to the playground. Good thing my host Mom has a new umbrella for us to keep dry in. Even the playground was flooded!  My host Mom is taking us on a trip this weekend. I'm excited to see more new things! Bye bye for now!
Jillyfish Posted Jun 6, 2012, 6:24 pm	We took a trip to Duluth, Minnesota this weekend for my host's cousin's birthday party. It was a loooong car ride: about 4 hours!  Here we go! Good thing I got a window seat!  Priscilla and I liked to watch the cars go by. We stopped on the way to get the cake! And we drove some more...... And we arrived! We found a piano. There was a huge blackboard in their kitchen, so we wrote our names on it.  The party really started after dark, when we got to play a game called "monkey ball". I didn't quite get the rules, but the kids had fun! It was a good weekend, a little too cloudy for my tastes though...... Bye for now!
Jillyfish Posted Jun 6, 2012, 6:29 pm	It's a beautiful day outside today~! We decided to go to the store to make a nice dinner for tonight. Our host wouldn't go anywhere but Target-- the birthplace of her TV, Bullseye. We got to ride in the cart!  We helped with the chopping and mixing!  Looks yummy, right? I was a great helper!
Jillyfish Posted Jun 6, 2012, 6:33 pm	Today is so sunny out, so we decided to go for an early morning bike ride! YAY!  We found a bird sanctuary! Very cool. There are many trails-- we had to stop several times to make sure we were still on the right track. We went over three miles today. Whew!
Jillyfish Posted Jun 13, 2012, 2:20 am	Hello! I met some new friends today. We welcomed Okuma and Noodles into my host's home. They told me silly stories about their traveling adventures. I hope someday to have that many good stories to tell!  We all were sad to see Priscilla leave to continue her journey. Best of luck to you!
Jillyfish Posted Jun 13, 2012, 2:32 am	Good morning! Today we are headed out on an adventure! First, we met up with another host in the area (Chloe09, and met her TVs: Danko and Lilla. I was very pleased to meet them. Then we all hopped into the car. Zoooooooom~! Can you guess where we are going? Oh look! There's the Target Field! There's a Twins baseball game going on today. We passed by the Light Rail, too. How neat! I want to ride on it!  Finally we arrive! We're at Como Zoo!  Hey! Look at this cool turtle statue I found. Hee Hee Hee!  Here's a buffalo. These strange creatures are what my host calls "giraffes". How silly! Then we went to a local diner called "Snuffy's" for lunch. We got chili fries and a chocolate malt. Yum yum! We made a detour on the way back home. To a car wash!!!!  Do I like car washes?  I guess we'll find out.  Here we go! WHOA! The foam and splashing water are so cool!  Hahahaha! That was great! Let's do it again!
Jillyfish Posted Jun 22, 2012, 7:12 pm	Good Morning~! We all decided to watch a movie. What should we watch....? We chose "Pocahontas". Luc Zeke and I shared some breakfast. Yum! These chocolate cheerios are strangely addicting! We visited the home of one of my host's friends. I met a GIANT duck! We stopped to see a lake. Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 lakes". We ate at Taco Bell for lunch. We all shared a combo pack. We got a little silly after lunch-- I'm super tall on Okuma! Bye for now! ~Shaunee
Jillyfish Posted Jun 29, 2012, 2:11 pm	It's a beautiful day outside today!  Can you guess where we are going? We are SUPER hungry! Here we are: eating breakfast at the Original Pancake House. Yummy~! My host had pancakes with bacon in them...... but chocolate chip sounds good for me!  We are going on a vacation! My host is taking me with her to camp. I'll get to lay on the beach and soak up some rays. We'll be sure to take lots of pictures for you. See you soon!
Jillyfish Posted Jul 9, 2012, 5:39 pm	Hi! We're going on another road trip! This time we're heading all the way up to Duluth, Minnesota. It's about a three hour car drive. Good thing I called "shotgun" to sit in the front passenger seat~! It's quite a nice view from up here. We have arrived! The car ride wasn't that eventful. :/ Streets of Duluth: It's sweltering hot out today! We first stopped at Canal Park where there are tons of outdoor shops and sights to walk around to see. We got icecream!!!! We even got to see the famous Lift Bridge! It's huge~! Then we saw something cool..... one of these funny bikes in a shop. We rented one to ride around. Look at me! I'm driving all by myself! We rode and rode until we got to the end of the pier where there was a small lighthouse. Good thing there was a basket-- there's quite a big group of us ToyVoyagers on this outing; But I like company-- the more the merrier! My bow tie keeps getting undone because of the strong winds! Luc Zeke and I went up to the lighthouse. None of the others wanted to-- it was up high! Look at this beautiful view, though! We just HAD to take a group photo here: We walked around a bit more and found a cool shop called "Monkey Business". Heheheheh~ It was FULL of monkeys! We're heading up to Camp now. My host says there's a beach! Maybe I'll get a tan.
Jillyfish Posted Jul 9, 2012, 6:03 pm	We have arrived~! The first thing we did was go to the beach. It's such a nice and sunny day. Perfect for a dip in the lake!  This is basically where we spend all our time this past week. It was too nice outside NOT to!  It was a long car ride back home...... I didn't want to leave!  But we passed through Duluth again on our way.
