Hi! I'm MokoMoko! It's my first post. And I just want to say: "Hello!" Travelling it's great. But I decided to stay with my mommy and we will travel together. I want to see as many new things, as possible!

Hi! We are going to Minsk, Belarus! By the train! Which name is "White stork"! Great name, i think. I'm so happy! It is my first journey. Yaaaay!

There are storks even on the curtains!

Mommy prepared our tickets and allowed me to choose something from the travelling menu. I like grapefruit juice

It was night beyond the window. And I stared into the distance a little. Night lights, tap of wheels... real travel atmosphere!

Hi again! I'm in Minsk now. Great city! Very clean and calm. At first day in Minsk we went a lot! There are many beautiful buildings here. I heard, that there aren't two equal buildings in this city. Maybe now it's not entirely true (in new blocks). But old historical streets are unique!

We came to the main post office and sent very nice card to Granny to Russia. She studied in Minsk at the State Economic University.

And bougth so beautiful set of postcards with wild animals of Belarus! I liiiiiiiike it very much!

The most part of our day we walked in the city, looking over it. Monuments, parks, ponds, shops, signs and posters - everything was very interesting for us.

Mommy had a map. And she explained me how to orient with it.

It was very saturated day! So many impressions.

I got tired a little. Mommy took me into her bag and we went to our host in Minsk to take a rest before our next travel-day.

Our journey goes on!

Hello! I just want to tell a little about our host house. This old lady is a colonel of police in retirement. So you can say - keep your jokes to yourself with her! But she's not so serious we found out. She is very cheerful, merry person and have a good sense of humour! "You should just get accustomed," - mommy said. And I did :D
Also she has very extravagant style. And her house too!

Everywhere here you can see a lot of figurines of animals (dogs, cats, deers and others), innumerable tea-sets, artificial flowers, pictures with nude people, beads, bows and lots of other astonishing things.

All in all it was very interesting to meet her. She told us many exciting stories about her life, work and people. And advised what else to see in Minsk.

Our journey goes on!

Hi! Today we continued to see the sights of Minsk. We began from the Independence Avenue. There are many national universities and government buildings here.

This is the Independence Square. There is a beautiful fountain here. With great birds - sweeps or storks. I don't know exactly.

Right here the main Roman-Catholic church in Minsk is situated. Church of St. Simeon and St. Helena.

We bought several magnets for friends. I helped to choose them certainly

Then we went to have a bite something and to take a rest. The cafe's name was Lido. It was very beautiful and cozy!

Our friends entertained me. It was very tasty!!!

I tasted a bit of that, a bit of the other one and it was hard to stop :cyclops:, while mommy said - "It is enough. Or it will be hard to continue a walk for you!"

And she was right! After hearty lunch I wanted only to go home and take a rest. Moreover it began raining a little and we decided - go to the cinema to wait till rain is over.

And nevertheless our journey goes on!

Hi hi! It's me again  This day we went to the national library, from the top of which you can see all city! At first we took the underground. It's not very deep, sunch in Kiyev or Moscow.

Then we walked a bit. And I saw many beautiful decorated with mosaic buildins. They were so colourful. I liked them.

Oh! I found such a pretty car! It was like a ladybird! It's my dream now :cyclops:

Then we came to the library and bought tickets for all of us. And for me too ;) Tickets are necessary in order to get up to the sight ground.

I have never been so high! It took my breath away!!! But it was so marvelous!

Then we walked along the Svislach river bank to the Eyewater Island. I asked mommy to do a little stop here and we fed ducks with bread. They are so friendly here :D

The Eyewater Island is a memorial complex devoted to the World War II. There is also the Crying Angel statue on the island.

I knew it was my last day in Minsk and was a little sad. But our friend Natasha presented us two hair-pins from her wedding diadem as a keepsake and we agreed to meet again next year!

So I'm not sad anymore and our journey goes on!

Hi! Today Mirembe arrived! She is from the UK and will live with us some time. I was very surprised, when she came out from the envelope and presented some gifts to me! I like guests! :D Now we do many things together and she is very funny. Soon we will go to the sea. And Mirembe too! We became good friends.  :D

We are in Crimea now! It's a wonderful place in the south of Ukraine. We have been here earlier. We decided to visit some new places on the coast. And chose a little settlement at the east of the peninsula - Ordjonikidze. There are beautiful mountains here. In ancient times there was a volcano Kara-Dag. Now he sleeps. I wonder what volcano's dreams are like...

Days in Ordjonikidze flown very imperceptibly! When you feel good, it is always so.

Our journey goes on!

Hi! Today we went a lot, buying presents for relatives and friends, cause we're going to visit our homeland next week. It's so exciting! We haven't been there for a long time! We bought many interesting things, especially a nice present, I think, was a lemur YooHoo! He was sooo lovely! That we want another one for us!

Then we chose a postcard for Mirembe's next host. She'll leave us tomorrow :(

After that we did a farewell photo with all my friends and Mirembe. It was very difficult to organize all of them. As ever turmoil began! Especially little cockerel from matreshka's family! With his striking talent - to get underfoot everytime! Finally all became quiet. B)

It will be very hard to part with Mirembe, but we will stay a good friends, I know. ;)

So life goes on and our journey too!

Posted Aug 13, 2011, 7:34 pm

We posted Mirembe to Germany today. It was sad a little and I sat in the mommy's bag firstly. But nevertheless I decided to climb out and helped her to pack up all things to envelope.

Bye-bye, Mirembe! Have a good trip!

Life goes on and our journey too!

Hellooooo! It's me! Did you miss me? :D We are in Vologda now. It's our fatherland. Today we visit historical centre of the city. Sophia's cathedral and bell tower. Vologda is very green now. I like our city very much!

There are many old wood houses with carved palisades. Carved palisade is one of the symbols of Vologda.

Bell tower. Very hiiiiigh!

Vologda river. Named as the city.

Sophia's cathedral. Was built by Ivan the Terrible.  :o Very majestic!

Bell tower's bottom.

Tickets to the top.

Sophia's cupolas from bell tower's window.

At the top! Fantastic!!!

Hi, fellas! We had a little walk by bikes this day. We went to Priluki. It's a district of Vologda since 1993. Before it was a separate settlement. Very beautiful monastery is situated here. We didn't came up to it. So you can see monastery from a distance only. But it's very nice even from afar.

It's our bikes :D Green for me and Mommy, and black for Mommy's friend.

A little picknic.  B)

Sunset. Last summer days occured very mild!

We saw a big big flock of crows or pigeons. I don't know exactly.

It's a pity, that summer is over. But at the same time - fall is very colourful and interesting time too. And besides it will be Mommy's birthday soon!

Then we went back to Vologda. It was evening already.

At home. I liked to cycle.

So as always - our journey goes on!

Hi! There was not a lot of time to write something. But now I have :) So I tell about 1st September in our home town. This day was special, because all pupils and students began a new school and academic year. The first school day's mood is very exciting anyway, no matter how old you are!

We went for a walk. To admire our city. Carved palisades...

Beautiful alleys and monuments (such as Pushkinskaya str., in honour of a famous russian poet Alexander Pushkin. I know several of his poems by the way:) ).

The Revolution Square.

The monument to revolutionaries.

The eternal flame monument to the soldiers of World War II.

We met first-formers, they were so nice in their first uniform.

It's a mailbox for letters to Santa and Grandfather Frost. We decided, that it is early a little to send my letter to him. But in a few months, i think it will be the right time.

It's a zero kilometre of all roads in our region.

One of the oldest hotels on Vologda.

So as always - our journey goes on!

Hello! It's the last day of summer and I just want to say, that this summer was very special for me. I saw many marvelous places! TV help me to show my advetures to other people. And I think it will be interesting not only for others, but for me and Mommy too - when winter will come, we will view our travels sitting on a warm sofa with cups of tea and will remember this great time with pleasure!

Today we were at home almost all day, only in the evening we went for a walk with our dog Nikita around antiaircraft gun monument not far from our house.

Oh! Also I found this cool graffiti with Kurt.

After our walk an unpleasant accident happened - Nikita bite my nose off. I'm not very angry, because he is just a dog, but Mommy was very indignant. It was funny a little, how she tried to shame Nikita but, i think, he didn't understand "all the tragedy of this situation".  :D

So our journey goes on!

Posted Sep 21, 2011, 9:12 pm
Ha-ha! Today Mommy still was angry at Nikita. :cyclops: But then we began a reconciliation procedure. Everybody hoped to find a compromiss in our relations. :D

And something good came in the beginning.

Nikita was even friendly at first sight. So pretty doggy!

But not for long!  :D :D :D

So at least the beginning was good! And I know nevertheless we will find a common language with this sometimes obstinate dog.  ;)

Our journey goes on!

Good day! I cotinue to tell about our time in Vologda, one of the region's cetres of the north-west of Russia.
In this arrival we noticed, that many flower-beds appeared over the city. Later we knew - it was something like a flashmob for planting flowers in Vologda. Great thing, I think!

Funny comercial with sushi-cats.  :D

The State University. The main building.

Kirovskii Park.

At this year there are many ashberries on trees. I heard, that it means that winter will be cold.

The Officer's House, where civilian registry office is situated.

Me and a birch.  :cyclops:

Theatre of puppets.

This sculpture of peeing dog is a part of a big monument to the first electric street lamp in the city. Funny!

Vologda river. Became shallow last years.

Bell tower in the distance. And Sophia's Cathedral.

As always our journey goes on!

Hi! This evening Mum's friend was invited to take photos of the opening of a new shopping mall. And we went with her too.  B)

Most of all I liked this camomile fountain! Nice.

Flowers were averywhere!

Then we went to the playing hall. So many attractions and playing machines were here!  :o And lots of crazy children too!  :D

After all we went to one very nice cafe, with benevolent waitresses, taste nachos and unusual Pepsi-cola.

Then I met very golden lady.  ;) But she was not so talkative, as golden.  :D

One more photo with camomile fountain. I really liked it!

Our vacation in Vologda is nearing its end.  :( It is time to come back to Kiev. On the one hand we miss it, but on the other - we don't want to leave home city and all friends. It's a pity, that they all can't be in a one place. Maybe in the future,.. maybe not. The last moments of our walks here.

Maternity hospital, where Mommy was born. A little homely, but you can't choose where to be born - she said.  :)

Monument to cosmonaut Belyaev, he was born in our region. He flew to space with Alexey Leonov in 1965.

Government building.

So our journey goes on! We are going back to Ukraine.

Good day! I'm in Kiyev again. Summer is over and it is cold a little. Today we were at home and decided to make something interesting. So we took our big box with tools for handmade from the shell and began to create!  :cyclops:
What is the result of our pains? I'll show:

We made cake bracelet and earrings for a gift.

Cakes were almost as real. I even tried them, while Mommy wasn't looking.  B)

Bracelet is a little big for me, but I can wear it as a necklace.  Cake necklace! Mmmmm.. my dream! :D

Helloooo! It's me as usual. Today my friends, Mommy and I cooked a pilaw. I like pilaw, because it's very substantial and just a tasty dish. In general I think all dishes are tasty at any time and any mood. And even if I feel not very well or sad, I always like to eat something and life becomes better. Because when my tummy is full, it is happy and I'm happy with it too! It says me something like: "That's the stuff, mate!" But Mommy usually says "silly-billy" and laughes at me for some reason.
Oh! I forgot to tell about my new friend - little mouse Myshonok. He came with us from Vologda to see some new places and to stay with us for some time. His Mom is a good friend of mine. I'm happy, more friends it's great! And I have no time to be bored.

At first we roasted a chiken meat with onion and spicery, such as turmeric, on a pan. I like turmeric, it smells very good and gives a great colour to the meat and then to all pilaw on the whole. A cross between yellow, gold and orange.

Then we (mainly Mommy) grated a carrot. I like carrots. It's food, food is good! :cyclops:

And when meat was ready, we put all of this to the pan - at first meat, then rice, carrot, more spicery and water. Usually Mommy use a cast-iron cauldron with heavy sides. But at this time it was just a pan.

While we were waiting for our pilaw, we watched cartoons about Donald Duck. I like him, in spite of the fact that I can't understand not a single word that he quacks.  :cyclops:

When everything was ready, I was maybe one of the happiest bears in our kitchen! Pilaw was the first-rate!

After dinner we went to the exhibition centre. In usual time it's a big area for cyclists, rollers, skaters and those who ate a hearty dinner and want just to walk around. We were the last ones. :p

Then we even went to the race track. It is situated not far. But in that day horse races were over. And we just saw an empty, but interesting too, race ways and a few horses in a distance.

We decided to come here other day, when races will be.

So our journey goes on!
Bye! Have a good day!

Hi! This day we made cookies! Yumm-yumm-yumm-yummy!  It was the first time, when we tried to cook something like that. But it was interesting and I like our results. They are very tasty results, as for me.  :)

My friend mouse and me help Momm all the time.

We haven't chocolate chips and decided to use common chocolate. I think it is not worse.

Certainly at first I tried chocolate and made an examination. It was great :cyclops:

I was looking foward, when cookies will be ready. That what we should get in the end.

Time to take cookies from an oven.

Tadaaaaaaam! :cyclops:

Cookies were sooo aromatic!

We ate it with cocoa. Mmmmm!

I was the happiest bear in our kitchen again!

Hi! Today we walked to the Holoseevskii Park. It's very big park near our house. And we always wanted to travel over it. Especially it is beautiful in autumn. It was a real trip with forest, lakes, mushrooms and hot tea with sandwiches. I liked it!

We met a little pony's farm. Ponies were so cute!

Lakes in the Park. Trees were reflected in water and it was beautiful!

Me and my friend Mouse.

I love golden autumn!

We found some burrows. I don't know whose they are...

I even found one mushroom, but I think it was not eatable.

The most pleasant part of our triiiiip!!! Mmmmmm, hot tea  And delicious sandwiches with cheese!

Posted Nov 21, 2011, 5:53 pm
Hello! Today we received a big (as for me) package! It was a present package to Mommy's birthday from her friend Yulia from St.Petersburg. Actually it wasn't a present - they arranged about swapping with some random pleasant trifles, because they miss each other and haven't seen each other for ages. And it was a coincidence, that package arrived just a few days before Mom's birthday.

So this is me and Mouse, waiting for the opening.  :cyclops: I hoped to find a lot of honey there! Or jam... Or honey and jam together! Cause these are the most pleasant things for me.

But at first we found there so nice postcards, that I forgot about honey and jam... for a several minutes. B)

Then we got an eyeglass case. It was very orange... But there wasn't honey in it. Just nice felt flower.

Ooooh! Then we saw so many little animals. They were very noisy and all the time strove to scatter!

Next was turn of a big black box. We were so curious to open it!

There we found a letter, toys and CANDIES!!!  :cyclops: It was even better, than jam. Not better than honey, of course, but Mommy promised me, that we'll go to the market on weekend to buy some real honey and it will be all for meeeee! :p

The last little roll was with...

...napkins for glasses. I have no glasses, but napkins were really good as roman clothes for me and Mouse.  :D

That's all. I really liked to receive packages! It is very cheerfull! And if someone else sends us a parsel, I have nothing against it.  ;)

Hi! I havent been here for a long time. But there were so many events and we didn't have time to post new photos in my travelog. But we have a lot of them! So today I tell you about Mommy's birthday. It was very saturated day. Mommy was so happy, I know.

This day we saw a big national stadium. It is not ready now, but works are in full swing, because Kiev will be one of the UEFA EURO 2012 cities. It will be a big event, I guess.

The underground station entrance near the stadium.

After our walk we went to one great place!  It was a big sweet shop with a cafe. We were tired a little and hungry. That's why it was a big pleasure to sit on cozy chairs in a warm and aromatic cafe and choose whatever your heart and stomach desired!  :D And my heart and stomach were really happy!!!

Then we went to the President house. And on our way we met this nice dachshund. He looked like my friend Nikita, but he was iron and not so jumping up.  :D

This is the place where Ukrainian Mister President lives. Nice house, a little big for me, but nice. On the other hand, I think, there are many rooms there, and small pantries with honey and sweets too!  :p

House with chimeras is not far.

In the evening when we came home, it was a little birthday party with flowers, great cake and candles and presents. It was cool! The roses on a cake weren't real but very tasty.

And those were very real! Mommy was so glad and smiled all the time!

Our journey goes on!

Posted Dec 17, 2011, 12:53 pm
Good day! Today we saw the National Stadium again. Construction goes at top speed! Hope it will be a great stadium in the end.  :)

When we came home, very big and strange package was there... Anyone had no idea, what was that. But someone was inside! He talked something about space and some evil empire. :cyclops:

We opened a cover we saw something like a spaceship.

It was some dude named Buzz Lightyear. Very strange Mommy's dream. Hope now we will watch ToyStory movie rarely a little. I like toys movies, but in the last bear was a bad hero and I can't agree with this version.  B)

It turned out, that Buzz is very nice in real, always with a smile and always ready to save the Universe. But slightly garrulous. Frankly speaking - a lot!  Even sitting in the box! :cyclops:

But after all we found common language and it was fun!  :D

And I think we will become friends.

Our journey goes on!

Hi, guys! We are in Crimea again.
Today we visited our relatives at their farm. They have a big farm and a lot of animals. I didn't saw all of them, because cows, for example, were on a pasture. But I have what to show.  ;)

There are many cats here. 8 or 10 maybe, I don't know exactly. This is one of them. Marusik. He was sleeping in a cow-shed. It's one of his favourite sleep places.

So nice company!  :D

Very big pigs. :cyclops:

Mukhtar. He was very friendly with us!

The place where all cows from village grazed this day.

After luch we decided to visit the local stud-farm and to ride a little.

This horse was so nice. And she liked very much oaten cookies that we brougth.

While Mommy was riding, I met a herd of sheeps.

That was my day at the farm. I was there for the first time and I liked all animals very much!  B)

Hello-hello! Did you miss me? :D I did!
Tell you a little what we did this day. We went to Simferopol (the capital of Crimea). It was in the morning and we decided to have breakfast in some cafe. This one called "4 Rooms", as one of our favourite movies. Nice place and tasty food.

We odered vareniks with cherries and sour cream. :p Mom likes this meal since she was a kid. And eats it in every good opportunity. I had nothing against of this tasty tradition.  ;)

After breakfast we went for a walk over the city. This is the Drama Theatre.

This day was very sunny and the sky was clear.

Guess, where is this door to?  B)

Dental clinic.  :cyclops: We always liked this wooden figures on it's main door. As if they say - it is a serious place.  ;)

Hi, guys! This day we visited the Swallow's nest castle, that built on a top of a 40-meter cliff. We have never been here yet and it was one of our 'what else to see in Crimea' objects.

We went here by bus from Simferopol to Yalta and then by another one little bus to Gaspra. On our way we saw the Demerdji mountain as always. Several times we were on its top. But not this time.

Clouds are very low here. Because they are mountain clouds, I think. And they have different habits not like usual clouds have.  ;)

The Swallow's nest castle finally!

Some trees are green here, even in winter!

Me on the sea-front. It was very windy and I feared to be carried away to the sea.  B)

Me and Mouse.

The Black Sea was so beautiful. What a colour! Maybe because it rests from people in winter and appears in all its beauty.

You can see a little bird on the top of a cliff, over my head. It's not a real bird, just a sculpture. An eagle. And this cliff's name is Sail-rock (or Parus in Russian).

I love the Black Sea very much in any season!  :)

On the edge of abyss!  :cyclops:

Castle's walls. In summer there are sooo many people here, but this day - we were alone. And if to be honest it was fantastic!  ;)

We saw a little puppy on the berth. Maybe it is hard to see him on the photo.. but he is standing near jaggies. He was barking at the sea and waves. Little silly guy!  :D

Resting in the sun.  :p

Then we went to Yalta. But I'll tell you about it another time.  ;)
Our journey goes on!
Good bye!

Hi! I was here so long time ago. And we have so many photos of our travelling, that today we decided to post some of them. Because it is already February and my travelog freezed a little without me and Mommy. So last time I showed the first part of our trip to Swallow's nest castle. Today I'll show the second one.

As I said, then we went to Yalta. It is one our favourite cities in Crimea. And that day it wasn't an exclusion. First of all we met this elegant lady with flowers:

She was very pretty! Then we rested a little. And had a lunch.

After that we walked to the sea-front.

Yalta's lighthouse.

Many trees are green here, even in winter.

Nice black ducks.

The beach was empty.

Mouse tried to become sunburnt. There was no big effect, I think. But I didn't want to disappoint him and didn't say it aloud.

A chain of some birds over the sea-line.

So that was Yalta in winter.
Our journey goes on!
Good bye!

In the evening only we came back home. And I was very tired. I even couldnt help Mommy to pack our suitcases and just looked over the room searching something interesting. Honey maybe.. Who knowns, what you can find in your own room after long absence!

These pictures we found once in a flea market. It was very hard to choose one of them and we bought both, honestly Mom just didn't want to separate these kittens. It was her whim.

This is handmade match house.

Yasha. She was preparing for departure too.

All my friends are here. It's a pity - they can be with us now, but in the future, when we will have our own house, we will be all together. I hope.

Finally all preparations were finished...

...and Bingo! I found a pack with Tatar sugar. And again I was the lukiest bear in the room!

Our journey goes on!
Good bye!

That was our last day in Crimea in 2011. We visited again our Granny and her farm. They decorated a New Year tree and Granny cooked very very delicious dinner. It was sad to leave them and all nice cats, dogs, cows and others.

Hello! Today was the last day of the Maslenitca week. And there were many festivals with music, dances, songs and with pancakes certainly. Pancakes with jam and honey, I want to note. Many, many pancakes....

We went to the Expocenter, where was one of this day festivals.

There are many beautiful buildings here, sculptures, bas-reliefs and other architectural beauty things, that names I don't know. Yet.

I showed some in this post -> already.

The man with an accordion.

A little damaged photo. But nevertheless nice, I think.

There was a big fair here. We liked handmade toys.

Beeswax candles.

Aaaaaaaand my favourite part of any fair....

Then we met very nice and fluffy dogs. I forgot name of this breed. It seems to me, that that were Malamutes... Maybe I'm wrong.

Their owner is a real hunter. Severe man..

Lady Maslenitsa.

Girls in national costumes.

Funny ducks!

Squirrel's house.

So it was our last day of the Pancake week.
Our journey goes on!
Good bye!

NEW YEAR Part 1!
It's never late to remember some great time. So this New Year was exactly like this time.

29th Dec. Me and Mouse decorated our mini NY tree.

I like this toy elephant.

The tree was ready! We did a good work, Mom said.

I like NY trees. They are always so bright and when you see them - holiday mood is guaranteed!

While Mouse was busy with all these NY chores, I noticed a big orange. Ownerless and lonely orange!

"Poor fellow!"- I thought - "You will feel more cozy in my tummy!"

But it was very hard to peel orange. And then I rolled down and heard how all bursted out laughing.

Mom promised to help with an orange later and gave me a chocolate. And you know what? It was not worser than that orange. Not at all! Sugar and cocoa-beans are the great force, whatever you may say!

Then we looked over the NY mail.

And all postcards were very nice!

***be continued ;)***

Good day!
Today we got a lot of surprises!

One postcrossing card and a big envelope from our home town.

Very unusual card, as for me.. But Mom likes those.

Honey and candies patrol at work.

But there were not sweets.

Just very jelly-like stickers with dolphins and stars. It was not bad, until Mom forbade me to eat them, even to try to!

So nice card with a bear, I really liked it! It looks like me, doesn't it?

The card with all symbols of our home town. Haven't heard that pies and patties are symbols too.. But I have nothing against it.

Oh! I didn't tell you. Recently we began to collect stamps. Because we found old Grandpa's album of stamps and noticed so many empty pages in it. We decided to continue Grandpa's work. And now we fill it when have some stamps.

At this time we already had almost all of these stamps in album. I glued just one.

We decided to put aside the rest of new stamps. Maybe for swap, if somebody likes them.

I want to show some of our stamps. This is our favourite stamp from the UK.

Ukraine, the UK and China.

Some Grandpa's stamps.

Very nice one with dogs in space. Their names in english sound like Coal and Wind.

So if you like these stamps, just write us a PM, ok ;)

And we updated my travelog with some NY photos, so if you are interesting, you can see them here!

NEW YEAR Part 2!
Last day of this YEAR! So important day. But we had time to finish all our arrangements and were ready! Hurray!!!
Actually we celebrate New Year 2 times always. Russian and Ukrainian, because of different time zones. So we saw Russian President's congratulations too.

Our table

Symbols of the last year and the next year - Rabbit and Dragon (we have two dragons)  ;)

We even switched on TV and it was working (we watch it seldom, have no time, so weren't sure if it worked).

Me, Mouse and NY crackers.

12 o'clock!!!!!! bom bom bom!  :cyclops:

Then we went to the main square of Kiev by metro. It was empty for some reason... Where were all the people?

The main NY tree of our country.

Lots of people. And all of them were happy, I hope.

And Santa too :cyclops:

Happy happy New Year!!!

***be continued ;)***

NEW YEAR Part 3!
In the morning we woke up and opened our presents.  Many-many candies and chocolates. I was sooo happy. January the 1st is cool!

Then I noticed something near our little NY tree.. ''What is that?" - I thought...

It looked like it was specially for me, I knew!

And it was a nose!!! New nose, new nose!!!  :cyclops:

It was my biggiest dream - to have a new nose! After a honey paradise, of course.  B)

Lalala lalala! My nose was great! And fit me perfectly! Lalala lalala!

Nevertheless New Year is the fairiest time of a year! When even your secret dreams can come true!

Hi, guys! This day we prepared for Easter. It was very interesting for me. And tasty! :cyclops:

At first we cooked Easter cake! Hard job. But it was worth of it! And then eggs! To boil and to colour. Two our cook missions. Very serious.  B)

Pastry for cake. Not very tasty as yet. But just wait a bit!  ;)

Snooow of flour

Paper forms for cakes.  I just tried their strength :cyclops:

Uffff! I was so tired. Then we coloured eggs. And everything was ready at last!

Next morning! It was a wonderful picture!!! We did it! The first time, but we tried very hard! And our festive food turned out to be good!

Oh! And if you want to see the end of my New Year holidays, look it here - Part 2 and here - Part 3

Hello-Hello! We decided to visit Aviation Museum this day. Particularly weather was unusually good and sunny! Sooo, let's go!

Map of the museum.

On the airplane wing!!! I'm like a real hero  ;)

And one more heroic pic! :p

Me and Mouse on a ladder. "Well-well, let me see, where have we landed?"  :D

Very big helicopter. Very.

So.. blue!)

Polar aviation!

First class!  :cyclops:

I even was a pilot for a little while. Ok, Mouse too. He was a co-pilot. Hush! Don't divert first pilot, when he is at cotrols! B)

That's all. You want more? More plains? No, no, next time maybe. Go and be a good person. Then when you grow up, you maybe become like a heroic first pilot! Ok, and co-pilot! O-oh! Ok, now that's is really all, because Mommy is returning from kitchen and I have to go right now!  See you! B)

Hello! This day we went for a walk to the Olimpic Stadium. Today was a match between England and Italy, so there were so many fans here. We walked over the central streets and watched everything. It was almost night, so we didn't do many photos, but believe me - it was very fun, loud and wonderful night!

Hi! I quite forgot to show a couple of photos of our walk to the Golden Gate. It is very old construction in Kiev. Actually it is a historic gateway in the ancient city fortress. Now it's a museum. I don't know why 'Golden'. Maybe because it was 'a major landmark of the Ancient Kiev', as Wiki says.

Yaroslav the Wise Monument.

Hello! We are in our homecity again!!! I'm very happy to see all our relatives and friends! And, I know, Mom is too. Today was a big festival, because it was our city's birthday. We didn't take many photos unfortunately. But believe me it was so fun here!

One of the festival stages.

There were many trade fairs of folk arts everywhere over the city. These are my favourite - Bast shoes.

Hi, guys! Today we had a picnic. It was very sunny day and therefore our mood was very very good too!

So fine!  B)

We cooked meat with vegetables on fire. Mmmmmmm omnomnom!  :p

River. It was not very wide but fairly deep.

Meadows with wonderful flowers were everywhere. Did you know that our water-meadows are very famous in our country? Cows like them very much and all dairy products here are very special and have a peculiar taste. Believe me it's true.

The beginning of a mineral spring.

Beautiful place!

My old friend Nikita. Do you remember him? ;) He was very happy to be there too. And while we were cooking, he swam in the river independently. :D

Freedom and peace.

Then I decided to follow my friend.

I've never swum before. And firstly felt not as confident, as Nikita.  :cyclops:

But then..
..I understood what to do. And it was so cool! Amazing feelings.

Like in paradise.

Great day!

Hello! I don't know maybe somebody watched my travels and noticed that we've already disappeared for several months. Maybe nobody. It's hard to have a contact without a "Comment" button. Nevertheless I hurry to fill up a blank in my story. So let's go!

This was wonderful, amazing and.. and.. in a few words it was cool day! We visited really fantastic place - Spas Kamennyi Island. Where one of the ancient monasteries of Russian north is situated. You can see a little video about it here, if you want -

But at first we arrived to a little city Ustye, where was a big festival of a Boat. There was a big fun fair there. You could see (and buy) various folk arts things there and even try some traditional meals like a Tsar's porridge with cloudberries for example.

Picture of the Spas Kamennyi Monastery - bird's-eye view.

As it was the Day of a Boat, all kinds of boats were there.

Even that kind...

Fair counters.

We even met a camel here.

So nice handmade fox..

Then we stopped to have a break and eat something. That's when I tried porridge with cloudberries. Very tasty!

A little concert.

Finally we departed to our main point.

Mouse and me took a nap in the sun.

Day was great. So sunny!

At last we arrived!

We found a well here. Water was uncommon and tasty.

Also we met this big white practically bear.

We spent on the island two hours. We listened a story about the monastery, got up to the bell tower and had a look at monastic economy. It was very interesting to know so exciting and a little sad things. And we met wonderful people, they live here and try to restore this ancient monastery by their own strength.

It was dreary to leave this amazing place.

Good bye!

Hiya! The last time I was here was.. ages and ages ago. What was the reason? I don't know... maybe it's a lack of time or energy.. maybe I had a little depression. You know it always happens in winter. So today I looked at our summer holiday pictures. And realized I want to show you some of them. Because it was such a great time!
This was our little trip by a river bus to the beautiful Priluckii Monastery. And then we visited our Kremlin and spent a little time walking in it's courtyard (such a lovely place by the way).

It was a nice day, wasn't it? Hope you received a bit of this warm and sunny atmosphere and (if you are in a depressed mood) it'll help to cheer you up as it did to me.

If you have some questions for me or just want to say 'Hi! Misha', feel free to write a message. I'll be happy to answer you!

Hey! I'm so happy our site works again. It's really the best news today!!!

I still have lots of photos of our little adventures. These ones were made when we went to the Safari park in Crimea. It's a big place somewhere among the Crimean steppes and mountains, a bit like a zoo, a bit like a park for lions. Cool place!

On our way to the park.

Finally arrived!

The map and our tickets

Sleeping lions

It was a wonderful day. I saw so many animals. Although I'm not sure about all this living in cages thing. Would be cool, if they could spend more time like lions do - at least in more spacious open-air cages. Maybe in the future, they will. I hope so.

After visiting the Taigan Park we decided to go to swim!!! It was amazing after a hot safari day.

That's all:) Our journey goes on! C ya!!!

That day we went to Yalta, one of the seaside cities in Crimea. The day was a bit chilly and grey but it was good to walk down the streets and smell the sea. Because it were our last days in Crimea. And it was sad a little to leave it.

However our journey goes on!  ;)

Walking all day again. This city is beautiful. And you can discover interesting things around every corner there. I don't think it's possible to see all of them. I'd need all my teddy bear's life for that! But even our short visit was full of pleasant surprises and city's secrets which make you want to come back here again and again.

Today we cycled in the forest a lot. It was fun. And I like when we go to the forest. Its sounds and smells, giant old trees and narrow small pathes, solitary lakes and winding brooks. The whole atmospere of silence and tranquility. I like to be there.

Then we found a big fragrant meadow, where we made a stop for a little picnic with tea and sandwichies, which were so good! Or I just was very hungry, I don't know.

Me and Mom

That was such a wonderful day, and as always our journey goes on!  ;)

Posted Jul 22, 2015, 2:19 pm

I've got some story for you. In case you're interested what I've been up to.. Well, it was a funny day today. haha

We were choosing postcards for Mom's friend and they were really cool and look sooooo tasty...

And I really mean it!

I even decided I need to have one for myself. Because.. you know.. I like sweets!!!

But Mom said they are just cards, not sweets. And that I behaved like a kid! "I'm not a kid" - I thought, - "I just like sweets. But who doesn't!"

And right that moment everything began. Actually it was Buzz who started it and who suggested that crazy idea - to venture for cookies. His ideas are always like that. I think it's something about his doing secret missions thing. Being in space for a long time affects people sometimes heheh

I don't know how he made me to go for that. It's his talent I guess. He should become a politician Mom says. We even had a troop of little peas with us!

We crossed the living room, then got to the hall where it was dark a bit. Peas were telling funny jokes and laughing all the time! Buzz said next time they would go in their pod. But they said they would rather have something more cool, like some special Peamobile! hahah

Finallly we got to the kitchen. And it was when I smelled cookies and forgot about things like what would happen, if Mom found us..

Buzz opened a drawer and threw down THEM! My sweet tasty crispy friends:D

We were happy! Our mission happened to be not that bad idea, I thought..

But then of course Mom came! And she wasn't as happy as we were. To see us on the floor with the cookies all over it.... She gave us a very.. very gloomy look. But then started laughing and said we were so silly. If we were hungry, we could just ask her to put the kettle on! Hahah It was such a relief!

So we put a kettle on and then had a proper tea with cookies, toasts and honey. Yeahhh, it was good!

Hi! Today we started our trip to Russia. We arrived to the international airport Borispol and had to wait for a couple of hours. But that was interesting, while Mom was reading a book, I looked at the people, planes and stuff.

On the plane!

Posted Apr 22, 2016, 1:42 pm
We landed in Moscow just in an hour or so. It was fast! And then we took the express train to get to the railway station. I spent almost all the time in train watching in the window. Because the day was beautiful!

Posted Apr 22, 2016, 1:53 pm
Today we visited a horse club near Mom's home-city. We saw lots of horses, dogs and cats. And then fed horses with apples and carrots which they really like:)

Posted Apr 22, 2016, 2:16 pm
This day we spent climbing the trees and walking through the rope-ladders and things like that. That was... fun. A bit scarry but fun. Mom said she'd almost had a heart attack but in the end she agreed it wasn't that bad and even said she'd visit this place again someday:)

Posted Apr 22, 2016, 9:11 pm
This was our last day in Vologda. We woke up very early to have a walk around the city while everyone was sleeping. We went to the river embankment where watched the sunrise and said buy to the big horse:)

This trip to Vologda was very interesting, we met a lot of Mom's friends and visited many places that were really cool. Hope we will be back soon!

Posted Apr 22, 2016, 9:21 pm
In Moscow again, on our way to Kiev.

Wish I could have such plane for myself! But Mom said we have no place for it in our flat and if I wanted to have it, we would have to think about living right in this plane. haha I think it would be even more cool!

Our journey goes on!!!

Today was a nice sunny spring day, and we went cycling to the forest, where we somehow wound up at the National Oservatory that was hidden in the woods. It was interesting to see all those buildings with telescopes inside.

Posted May 7, 2016, 7:32 pm
Hey hey!!!

We were in the State Aviation Museum today. It was not the first our time there, but every time I like so much to look at the planes, old ones and those that are still flying. Big and grand, like real giants, or small and cute, almost like toys, they all were amazing!

This helicopter looked like it had several little ones inside and just were hiding them you know like a sea-horse carries its kids. haha  :D

And this old bus was so colourful and bright, that I couldn't just passed by:)

And this plane is my favourite. Maybe because of its funny hat! :cyclops:

Posted May 16, 2016, 8:41 pm
Today we woke up very early and thought it'd be nice to go cycling. Because day was sunny and warm. And because we had a very interesting place to see. It's one monastery hidden in the big park not far from our house. We heard it's a beautiful place in woods with a lot of lakes around. I said it was a nice way to spend our day off! And everyone agreed.

And I was so right:)

Chestnut trees:)

They were everywhere around the Monastery.

Then we went to the lakes.

Where I saw two turtles and a duck resting peacefully on the sun. It was a bit funny company to see haha

Then we had a break for a little picnic :p

Then we met a few really big snails!  :cyclops:

And found a strange hole.. Or it was an entrance in somebodie's tiny house inside a green hill.

In the end we rested a bit on a tree! Watching the sun reflecting in the lake. It was like a real summer day!

And this is our little video we made that day:)

Posted Nov 10, 2016, 11:09 am

We've been looking through our summer pics and found out that we still haven't posted some of them. And then we were busy  bla bla bla. But now, while we have some free time, it's a good chance to do it.

So this is just a view of the railway station of Cherepovetc city, we were passing by it on our way to one place (which I'll tell about a little later). I think it looks nice. Like a little fortress hehe

And this is just me on a bus. Had spent quite a lot of time there..

Posted Nov 10, 2016, 11:18 am
So this was our little trip to the countryside. We were visiting Mom's parents in Russia and her friend invited us to spend a weekend in the village far enough from our city to see the forest, pick some berries and mashrooms, to go swimming in a beautiful river, and just to have some nice time out of the city. We thought it was a great idea. It definitely was!  The weather was perfect, we swam a lot and went for a long long walks to the forest, where I saw elk's trail, and that was crazy, and ate billberry, and then swam again. Mom and her friend were all the time talking. All day long. About all kinds of stuff. It doesn't happen too often with Mom, so I tried not to interrupt them. It was a lovely weekend, even though we didn't make photos, just this one. But I just wanted to share with some of my memories about those two days. Cause they were really cool!

Posted Nov 11, 2016, 7:22 pm
The one summer day that we went to see the monastery and swimming:)

I found a cherry tree:D

See you later;)

Posted Nov 11, 2016, 7:35 pm
I saw this little model of a plane in the airport when we were passing by on our way to the waiting lounge. It was cute. I would really like to have one myself and use it. Maybe I could even be a pilot! Although the woman at the reception desk said bears weren't allowed on planes.. I think maybe she just had a different dream, not about having a plane:)

And this was a train (Aeroexpress) that we took to get from the railway station in Moscow to the airport in Vnukovo.

Posted Nov 11, 2016, 7:41 pm
This is an airport again! Haha Too much of airports you say? Yeah, maybe. But for one day it was everything we were seeing - just airports and railway stations. It was interesting actually. We like to watch people and planes and it was not very usual for us anyway. So get some flight pics! ;)

Posted May 20, 2017, 11:11 pm
We are at the airport again.. And guess where we are going to?... Yes! It's Scotland! How did you know that??? :D

Posted May 20, 2017, 11:17 pm
It took about three hours to get from Kiev to Luton where another plane had been already waiting for us! Next stop was... Glasgow!

Posted May 20, 2017, 11:35 pm
We had finally got to our hotel. It was already night and we were very tired but we didn't notice it at all. Because of all the excitement, all things we had seen that day, all new sounds, lights and smells... It was wonderful! I liked our room. It was decorated with Scottish patterns on pillows, curtains and everywhere. It was cute

We couldn't get asleep for loooong long time. Nor could we stop thinking how many things we were going to see. It was crazy!!! In the end we just watched TV and fell asleep at last haha

This day was the day of our great trip to Glencoe and some other places. But first I'll show Glencoe. The main thing about it... yes! wonderful, amazing, unbelievably beautiful nature! Just have a look. It hardly can be put in words.

Posted Jul 10, 2017, 5:16 pm
The second part of our trip was not less exciting! We visited Glenfinnan,  saw the Loch Shiel, the Glenfinnan viaduct that you can recognise from Harry Potter movie, then went to Mallaig, enjoyed a beautiful seaside and finally took a real steam train from Mallaig to Fort William via the Glenfinnan viaduct. It was sooooo cool!!!

Here you can see a little video from the train! Steam Train

This day we woke up early and were thinking about staying in Glasgow. But when we were passing the central railway station suddenly we decided to take a train and go to some nice seaside town. It was just the right moment and place. That's how we wound up in Greenock:)

Posted Jul 10, 2017, 7:14 pm
10th of August we spent traveling to Oban. We passed the Loch Lomond, a few beautiful castles, saw hairy cows and black sheep, tried fresh sea food and couldn't stop feel amazed with this endlessly beautiful country. We really loved Scotland.

We moved to Aberdeen. It's our next big stop. We'll spend there quite a while before moving on. We started our day on the beach. It's amazing in Aberdeen. Was so cool just to sit there and watch the ocean and people walking their dogs of all kinds. Then we went to the Aberdeen university. The building is very beautiful. Like a real castle. And then we ended up in a big park with lots of flowers and nice alleys.

Posted Jul 10, 2017, 9:55 pm
We took a train to Stonehaven this day. We wanted to see the Dunnottar Castle. It was reeeeeally good to go there. The weather was fine, the town was lovely, and the castle... it was great! We think we'll come back here again. Maybe even more than once. I really hope so. And so does Mom;)

Next day we woke up, had a very quick breakie and went to explore the city. It was a long day with a lot of views, buildings, streets, people, food and good impressions.

Then we returned back and had a veeeeery nice fish and chips and onions rings which are my favourite!

Posted Jul 12, 2017, 9:07 pm
We realised that we were missing Stonehaven already. So... easy peasy! We bought tickets, took a first train in the morning and very soon were there! It was such a good feeling to come back. I don't know why but we felt so good to be there again!

This time we went to Wicklow and the Mountains park. It was really nice to walk the. In the forest, near the lakes, and to have a nice view of mountains. Nice day. Great walk!

And I still can't get used to the fact that everything is still green. Even though it's November already...

Posted May 9, 2018, 9:43 pm
We relocated from Dublin to Howth. We liked it a lot when visited it a month ago. So we're gonna stay here for now.

Posted May 9, 2018, 9:48 pm
It was a lovely sunny day so we went for a cliff walk. I like the sea. If not think that it's December, you could almost imagine that it is summer. Almost... haha

Posted May 9, 2018, 10:10 pm
Today we visited Bray. We took Dart to get there. It's about an hour from where we live. The road goes along the coast and you can be on a train and at the same time see the sea just outside all the way.
Bray is a nice small town with a beautiful beach and mountains.

Posted May 9, 2018, 10:42 pm
After Bray we headed to Greystones. There's a path that goes along the coast connecting these towns. It can be busy sometimes but the views are worth it. And in Greystones they have a long long beach where you can have a rest after your walk.

Hey hey!

This time we went to Skerries! It's a small seaside village not far from Drogheda. It was a bit rainy and cloudy but it didn't stop us from going there. Cause it's always nice to go to such quiet, calm and cute little places to enjoy some peace.

When we were taking this photo some dog just stole me without anyone having time to realise that it was happening in real. It just grabbed me and run faaar faaar away!

Here you can see the dark dot - it's a dog and me in its mouth!

Fortunately, the dog didn't have much of a plan about what to do with me, so it just left me on the beach waiting while I would be found again!

That was a funny accident...

But then we just continued wondering the streets of Skerries. And all other dogs we met were more than polite:)

Then we found a nice place to try some local fish&chips. Which were not bad at all!

We went to eat them on the beach and it was so good to sit there on sand, to look at the sea, breathe its air and listen to the waves. And eating! ;)

The harbour was very beautiful that day!

We visited Drogheda. It's about one hour trip on a train from Dublin. Not a big but old and nice city with its own charm.

We liked all cathedrals and churches we saw there. So high! Old. And architecturally perfect. Very nice!

Also there's a river in Drogheda. It's called river Boyne. And we saw a few cool bridges over it.

And this gate... Right in the middle of the street. Just like that. Like a piece of the old times still remaining in our time. Beautiful...

And of course we couldn't help but tried local fish&chips! haha We do it in every city or place we go to. These were a bit dry but tasty all in all.

On a train back home.

On this day we visited Connemara National Park. We took a short weekend bus tour from Dublin.

A castle!!!

Atlantic Ocean!!!

I couldn't feel my teddy butt in the end. Because we'd spent so much time on a bus. But it was totally worth it! Our day was fantastic! Ireland is so beautiful!

Posted Apr 5, 2020, 3:00 pm
For a few days we were petsitting these two guys - Figaro and Claude. They were fairly nice to me and we had a good time together.

Posted Apr 5, 2020, 8:55 pm
After my last pet-sitting expirience I thought I could do some more. This time it was two small puppies and a big dog. Even though I felt a little confused at first it all went fine. And now I think it was fun actually!

Mommy, what's going on?!!!!!!!

Posted Apr 6, 2020, 10:53 pm
After visiting Connemara area we thought it'd be great to see some other places on the east of he country. So this time we headed to Galway!

Back to Dublin:)

Posted Apr 8, 2020, 12:02 am
We visited mom's sister in St.Petersburg. These several days were great. We walked a lot, went to the stadium to see a football match of FIFA 2018 Championship and went to the forest.

Posted Apr 8, 2020, 12:12 am
After visiting St.Petersburg we headed further. And took a train to Vologda, our hometown.

Then it was time to go back to Ireland.

Posted Apr 8, 2020, 12:18 am
Phoenix park in Dublin is a great place to see deers! We got very close to them. And one of them even licked my ear. That was a veryyyy strange feeling :cyclops:

Posted Apr 8, 2020, 12:34 am
Me, mom and _Mishuta_ visited Scotland because it was mom's birthday and we thought we'd go somewhere we like. Scotland is our favourite destination, I can say now.

Scottish money:)

What a vista!

Deep fried haggis.

Nessy! :D

I tried to see the real one in the Loch Ness. But probably it was too shy that day. Maybe next time, Nessy;)

Posted Apr 15, 2020, 10:48 pm
We started our last day in Scotland with the fine Scottish breakfast.

And then headed to the Botanic Garden which was just near the hotel.

It was a very nice trip and I hoped that we'd return to Glasgow soon.

Posted Apr 22, 2020, 12:08 am
As _Mishuta_ has already told we visited Wales last year! It's crazy how time flies, isn't it? I can't beleive it's been a year!

Visiting Wales was on my Mission list! We went to the National park and walked around Cardiff. I really liked the city in spring when everything was blooming and getting green! And the park was just fantastic! There were quite a lot of people there doing this route going up to the top of the mountain. But it didn't bother us because everyone was just enjoying a beautiful day and it was somehow pleasant to be a part of it!

Posted Apr 25, 2020, 7:51 pm
Our new year we started with the trip to Scotland! Hurray! I was so happy to return there. It's one of my favourite destinations. Probably I say it every time but it really is so!

Posted Apr 27, 2020, 8:48 pm
We are going to Oban this time! It's a small resort town in the north-east of Scotland. It can be pretty busy in summer during the tourist season. In January it's very quiet, some places are closed but you still can have a lovely time walking it's cute narrow streets, going up to the McCaig's Tower where you can enjoy a spectacular vista of the Oban Bay. Then you can have some fantastic seafood and a pint in one of the little bars that aren't too busy at this time of a year. We chose the Oban Inn. And it just filled us with warmth and friendliness. We had a great time!

Posted May 14, 2020, 7:00 pm
Today we had a big walk around the city, then we went to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. But first of all we had a nice Scottish breakfast which is always my favourite part!  :p

The loveliest graffiti I've ever seen!

Obligatory photo from Glasgow  :D

Hey! I thought you'd be interested to see our little trip to Fanad to see the lighthouse. It was not our first time there. But the first one this year. As soon as we are allowed now travelled around the county we used this chance to visit the lighthouse at the very end of the country. Well, almost ;)

Ar first we stopped for a little break near some lough. It's a lot of them around and now I'm not sure which one was it.

Then it started raining...

But we were getting closer and closer!

I met one nice sheep. :D

And then finally we were there!

On our way back we noticed a castle on a bank of a lough. We stopped to have a look. And later we found out that it was the Doe Castle. In this photo it's just above my head, if you zoom in you can see it.

It was a nice sunny day, so we thought we shouldn't waste it and go somewhere. Because sunny days are very precious in rainy Donegal.

So we took the road through the Glenveagh National park, then right after it we saw a few beautiful loughs and stunningly beautiful mountains. There was a little viewing place near the Dunlewy lough where you can stop, sit on a bench, have a cup of tea or an ice cream and enjoy the view on mountains and two lakes down the valley. It's a really nice spot. As well the road itself. It's very picturesque.

After a little stop we headed to the north and just in 20 minutes arrived to our destination. It's a little village called Magheraroarty where at normal time you can take a ferry to the Tory Isle. Of course, now it was closed. But it was nice to see the ocean and to walk on the beach. It's really really long, with soft yellow, almost white, sand. And the sea air is just amazing.

Posted Jul 13, 2020, 7:33 pm
We visited a green flag beach called Tramore beach. It's not far from the Falcarragh village. It was a good, long walk along the dunes. The day was windy enough and some people were enjoying surfing the waves. Maybe someday we will try it too, who knows;)

On the way back we popped in to the nice fish and chips place in Falcarragh, Craig's Cafe. It was a bit late and they didn't have fish left so we ordered crab meat, chips and onion rings. We really liked it! Can't wait when we visit it again! Their food was great! :p

Posted Jul 13, 2020, 7:41 pm
On the way home we took a different road that passes the Glenveagh National park. It was around 10pm and quite late but still the views were fantastic. We had to stop a few times to look around with no hurry. It would be silly to miss such opportunity, we thought.

Posted Aug 1, 2020, 5:48 pm
We continued exploring the West Atlantic Way, at least the part of it in Donegal. And visited a few places. Our first stop was at the viewing point in Brinlack. You can see the Bloody Foreland area. It's called like that because of the colour of the rocks there, not because of something terrible. :cyclops: We saw the rocks from the distance from this view point. But didn't go to close. Just had a little break to enjoy the ocean views.

Posted Aug 1, 2020, 5:52 pm
Next stop was in Derrybeg where we found a beautiful old ship or rather what remained of it. It was really cool to walk around it and have a closer look.

Posted Aug 1, 2020, 5:57 pm
The next one was Donegal Airport and the lovely beach just behind it. They say it has of the most scenic views when you land or take off. We didn't see any planes flying but the beach was really one if the best I've seen in Donegal!

Posted Aug 1, 2020, 6:04 pm
Then we visited a little place called Dungloe. I liked old bars, shops and houses there.

Posted Aug 1, 2020, 6:08 pm
And finally we arrived to Portnoo, our last destination for this time. There was one more Blue flag beach there where we had a nice evening walk before going back home.

Posted Aug 31, 2020, 11:46 pm
One of the last days of this summer we spent climbing the Benbulbin mountain. We saw it before from a distance and always wondered if it's possible to get on the top of it. And actually yes, it's not a very difficult walk. We saw a lot of people walking up the mountain and some of them even brought their small children up there. It took us an hour and a half to drive to Sligo from Donegal. And about 4 hours to climb Benbulbin. The weather changed a lot. At some point it even rained! But we also were lucky to have some sunshine. And the views were fantastic!

Posted Oct 5, 2020, 4:02 pm
We visited the Giant's Causeway which is situated in the Northern Ireland and it's declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. We always wanted to see it since moving to Donegal. Because it's just around the corner from where we live now.

What is so special about it? Well, it's all about these unusual rocks that remind a causeway as if it was made by someone (by a giant to be precise) but it is a natural thing that you can find only in a few places in the world.

If you ever plan to go there, remember that the access to the Causeway is free, you just should pass by the big tourist centre where you can buy a guided tour and use their other services but it is not necessary. The entrance is just at the parking area, you will see a big tunnel - just go through it and follow the road. And you can park your car for free near the Causeway hostel which is just a few minutes away from the place. ;)

It's December, Christmas time and it means I've got to open sweet advent calendar this year. It's my very first one and I'm so happy about it! And the chocolates are exactly how I like them - teddy bear size!
:D :p

Posted Dec 15, 2020, 5:56 pm
As mom got her driver license we set off for Magheraroarty Beach. On our way there we had a little stop in Dunlewy. There's a viewing point there where you can see the Errigal mountain and the Dunlewy Lough. The weather wasn't fantastic. But the views were! In the end when we arrived to the Tory Isle ferry we took fish&chips in Cassidy's Fish&Chips. And it was delicious! The freshest fish we've tried in Donegal. Also they have a few Scottish options on the menu, and we had battered pickled onions. They were soooo good!

Christmas Eve! It's Christmas Eve! We made mince pies and are all ready for tomorrow! I love Christmas! Happy holidays to you, if you are reading this! :D

Today we visited Dublin with mom and Sanny. It was so nice to walk familiar streets and gardens again. We spent 3 years living in Dublin and we miss a lot of things about it. It's a beautiful and lively city, and there's always something interesting going on here.

The White Lady on the Rock that you can often see in windows in Dublin. It's one of its mysteries and legends because no one actually knows for sure why she appears in windows.

The Irish post boxes. :D

Posted Mar 15, 2021, 5:36 pm

This morning we checked our little garden. The daffodils were still in bloom. They looked so nice so I asked mom to take a few pictures of me around these yellow beauties :D

Also we have some tulips. The leaves are getting bigger every day. Can't wait to see them blooming!

Surprisingly our parsley got through this winter pretty well and looks very bushy now. We took a few sprigs for salad :D

That's all my news from our little garden for today. Speak soon!

Hi, just wanted to show what I saw today. I was looking out the window and noticed a little guest visiting our acorn feeder! I always was hoping to see this and finally it happened. A little squirrel! It found the nuts we put there every day hoping it would come. At last it happened. That's so cool! :D

Today we had a very important mission - to look after two cats and a dog while their owners were away. We fed them, tidied up, walked and played a little. That was so fun that in the end one of the cats gave me a cat kiss. I think I've made a new friend:D

Hello. Today we woke up and discovered that winter is back! All our back yard was covered in snow. It was so unusual to see flowers in snow. I hope our little onions will survive. I said hello to Mr. Gnome and we put some peanuts for birds and squirrels. It was an usual for April and yet beautiful day.

Posted Apr 22, 2021, 2:19 pm
Hello! Today was the first day after they lifted up county traveling restrictions. So we took this chance to go and see the ocean! Oh, I missed it a lot. Was such a lovely morning and the beach was still empty so we enjoyed our walk and a beautiful sunny day.

Posted Apr 22, 2021, 2:23 pm
Today we checked our garden and found those beauties! So bright and the aromaaaaa... makes me think of honey. Mr. Gnome looked much better than a few weeks ago when it was all covered with snow :)

Posted May 5, 2021, 11:29 am
Today we went for a drive around the Horn Head. It's a little peninsula near the Dunfanaghy village. It was an early morning and the sun was just rising. The ocean was quiet and the views were magnificent.

Posted Jun 2, 2021, 11:41 pm
Hi, it's me again!

Today it's been such a long day that in the evening we felt like going somewhere to the seaside. So we drove all the way to the Donegal Airport which as I heard has one of the most beautiful sceneries in the world. I don't know if it's true. But when planes land the passengers see the ocean and mountains and everything. So yes, the views aren't bad I suppose. :D

Anyway, we didn't take a plane but just walked along the beach and enjoyed the sunset. It was a wonderful way to finish that long day.

Posted Jun 11, 2021, 8:25 pm
Today we visited a very special place - the Beltony Stone Circle. It was built many many centuries ago. It's hard for me to imagine. But those ancient people liked to make such circles. You can find them in different places and it'll forever be a mystery what they were used for. The one that we visited isn't as big as the Stonehendge. Still it's a very mysterious place situated between two valleys and when you stand in the centre of it you get wonderful views!

Then we went to see the seeeeea! What a day!

Posted Oct 29, 2021, 11:54 pm
Hello hello! This day we spent in Portrush. It's a nice seaside town in the Northern Ireland. I liked it. Nice little buildings, the pier, boats and yachts, and lots of gulls! Mom likes them, I think they are her favourite birds:)

Then we visited the Dunluce Castle (the ruins of it to be exact) that is situated not far from Portrush.

Posted Nov 7, 2021, 11:01 pm
We are in the Northern Ireland again. And today we visited the Drumskinny Stone Circle. Wow, it was like a Stonehenge but smaller. Just the right size for me :D

Posted Nov 7, 2021, 11:07 pm
Also we visited Enniskillen, a nice city in the south of the Northern Ireland. The best thing there was the castle! I love castles!!

Posted Nov 25, 2021, 10:44 pm
We are in Larne, going to take a ferry and start our trip to Scotland!!! Everyone is so excited! We love our Scottish adventures :cyclops:

Our sea letter... Hopefully someday someone gets the message.

We arrived to Glasgow! I missed it:) Such a beautiful city, always great to visit. In the evening we had a walk around the University of Glasgow. It always looks like a mysterious castle.

Today we had a long trip to Scottish Highlands. We saw so many things that it felt like we went away for a few days not for one!

Loch Lomond

Posted Feb 2, 2022, 9:04 pm
We saw the famous Kelpies today. That was a huuuuuge pair of horses!

Then we visited the Culross village. It's a very pretty place.

The day was fantastic and I'm going to miss Scotland. :)
