Hi! Today the weather was fine that is rather rare here in Murmansk and my Mom and I went shopping. We have a wonderful lunch in a cafe with milk shake and cakes. I liked to sit near my Mom and to look at the window. And finally, do you believe? I saw a big dragon!!! |

Hi mommy
On Friday I arrived very well in Germany! On day later my travelbook reached me and also the postcard! Sissi liked it very much! I was also very warmly welcomed here. Photos are coming soon! Hugs, Lenny |

Hi Mommy
I was warmly welcomed by the other TVs at my new host here in Germany Sissi showed me a bit the house and the garden. Her father-in-law is a hobby gardener! It was a hot day and I did some sun-bathing <- that's a pumpkin! They also have a pond and I watched some fish swimming around! Sissi has a little son and I used his swing. There was also some place free for Henry-Bo. He's a new TV and will leave to North Carolina this week. |
Sissi Posted Aug 11, 2009, 1:34 pm |
We said goodbye to karlheinz today. He's going back to his owner and then goes on to China. How exciting! |
Sissi Posted Aug 24, 2009, 11:16 am |
Hi mommy
Today we made a trip to the Lochmühle in Eigeltingen. Eigeltingen is a small community with around 3.500 inhabitants, about 5 km away from Aach where Sissi is living. The Lochmühle itself is a 400-years-old farm which is nowadays a theme park that is very popular, esp. for families. Look, that's me in front of the sign that stands in front of the entry! We saw pigs ... ... and horses. There were many ponds, too. All 5 of us |

A trip to Radolfzell
We went to Radolfzell these days. Radolfzell is a town at the western end of Lake Constace. It is a well known health care city and an important railroad junction. In 1990 Radolfzell was named the Federal Environment Capital City of Germany. Radolfzell was developed out of a monastery founded in 826 AD as a "cell" under Bishop Radolf of Verona. The town belonged to the Abbey of Reichenau, then to the house of Habsburg for a long time, and for 40 years was a Free Imperial City. This is me at the market place. In the back you see some signs that lead to the museum, lake, park, etc. We then went to the lake. We had to pass the railroad and took a photo with a train. Sissi told us that she went to school for 3 years here in Radolfzell and always came with train. Then we reached the lake. There was a little girl with her parents coming, too and when she saw the lake she told “Oh!!! The sea!!!”. Actually, Lake Constance is really also named “Swabian Sea” (not officially though). There were also many ducks and swans. On the other side of the harbour mole is the harbour with many ships. In the end we also made a group photo! Bye bye! |

Hello
I'm still in Aach. Sissi was not able to post any updates lately. But I spent a great time here. I'm looking for a new host now. So far I'm spending the firs sunny days of the year in Sissi's garden: I'm also helping with gardening: and have fun playing on the slide: or relaxing I'm already curios where I'll go to next Lenny |
Sissi Posted Apr 16, 2010, 10:57 am |
It was a lousy day yesterday . It was raining all day and so we stayed inside.
Look, what we did: We watched a DVD The DVD was a German tv serial called "Florida Lady". Sissi told us she watched it when she was a child. It's about a guy called Tom who wanted to marry but his girlfriend kicked him. So he decided to stay with his friend Roy and his daughter Penny on their housboat (the rent housboats for holiday guests). He starts working there and also finds a new love. and we played with the trainset: Tina and I were allowed to drive it . I also read a nice book: Bye bye |

I'm on the way to the Czech Republic now |
Daisie Posted May 13, 2010, 7:00 am |
Finally I arrived to the Czech Republic! I arrived in a big envelope with my passport, three postcards and some sweets. What a nice surprise! I am discovering my new environment and as I am a bit tired after the long journey, I love to relax on a deck chair! |
Daisie Posted May 13, 2010, 7:13 am |
I went to my first trip in the Czech Republic today and I had a very good time! I met two TV friends, Eeyore and Dotdog. We played some boardgames and had fun on th playground. But the best thing was seeing big models of world famous buildings! It felt like traveling across the world in just a few hours! :-) |
Daisie Posted May 24, 2010, 11:23 am |
Wow, I am having a great time! I went to Slovakia at the weekend and saw so many interesting stuff there: A big and beautiful castle and a ZOO! I met many animal friends there. And guess what! I met a real lion there! Wooow.... Just look at my photos! |
Daisie Posted Jun 7, 2010, 7:53 am |
I went to the ZOO at the weekend! Wow, so many exotic animals! It was a bit scary sometimes - I was afraid of that big crocodile and some animals were so close! But I knew I was safe with my host family. There is a beautiful chateau in the ZOO and I took some photos there, too. It´s a pity it was closed and I couldn´t go inside! |
Daisie Posted Jun 15, 2010, 3:24 pm |
Wow, I´m so excited! I saw very big and dangerous animals today: They are called DINOSAURS! Some of them moved and made noise. It was a lot of fun to take photos with them! |
Daisie Posted Jun 29, 2010, 7:12 pm |
My host mum celebrated her birthday at the weekend! Yay, it was so much fun! We had a party with fondue and then another party with family meeting and lots of presents! We enjoyed preparing for the party, and of course eating all the chocolate and other yummy food. And opening presents was sooo exciting! I love parties! |
Daisie Posted Jun 29, 2010, 7:32 pm |
I went to a small trip with my host parents and Bella-Bo, another TV. We went to an old quarry. There were many tall rocks and several small lakes. And many, many beautiful flowers, dragonflies, insects .... I loved the smell of lavender! |

emo_kid natashafiebig@yahoo.com.au Posted Sep 27, 2010, 3:20 am |
Hi Mum
OMG, we finally got to go into the city... So exciting. Here's me on the bus going in We walked around for a bit and found this cool looking church. There are heaps of churches in the city. This is city hall. We weren't allowed to go inside, but here's some interesting information about it. "City hall was erected between 1920 and 1930 and is heritage listed. The sandstone-faced building features a finely detailed main entrance topped by a 92 metre clock tower. It is currently undergoing renovations." This is the Treasury Building, formerly the Queensland Government Treasury Building, but now it is the Treasury Casino. It was built between 1886 and 1928 in three stages. It is Located at the end of Queen st Mall. There’s accommodation and of course, gambling, so naturally we weren’t allowed in. Next we found some Kangaroo’s… They’re not real kangaroos though; they’re made out of scrap metal. Then we met Adrian Burragubba, a native aboriginal, who busks in the Queen st mall. He’s been doing it for the past 16 years, and has even fought the government over aboriginal wages. He comes from a community in central Queensland. We didn’t want to disturb his music, so we had a group photo with him. He sits on genuine Kangaroo skin and plays the didgeridoo and clapsticks. He is dressed in traditional aboriginal dress and body paint. We were all nervous, but it was so interesting and unlike anything ive heard before. Next we stumbled across “The Drovers”. They were originally created as part of Expo ’88, and were part of a series of 80 sculptures displaying people in everyday situations in Australia. In 1989 they were purchased by Department if Primary Industries and installed in there present location, out the front of the Department if Primary Industries building on Ann st. In 2005, they were re-created in cast aluminium to preserve them for generations to come. The drovers represent the old swagmen around a camp fire. We found this really interesting statue of a man on horseback, giving a lady water and food, with lots of children standing around. I’m not sure what it all means, but they look cool. Next we saw this, it’s an old Servants home, which was built in 1865 and bought in 1873 by the Brisbane School of Arts. Here’s some information about it. Although it wasn’t very interesting inside, as it’s being used as an art gallery / coffee shop now, we got to sign the guest book. Sadly it was then time to go back to work. Here we are on the train. Im exhausted now, so im going to sleep. Love Lenny xox |

He wasn't to healthy so we gave him some water. He survived And I had to have my photo taken with this Ferrari we spotted On Sunday was emo_kids birthday. Today I arrived in Toronto, Canada. What a beautiful city. My host mom was very surprised to see me and so happy that I arrived safely, after my journey half way across the world from Australia.
When I arrived I was greeted by Trampei, who will soon be beginning his TV journeys as well. My host mommy told me that I will soon be accompanying her to her classes at the University of Toronto. I am very excited to start hitting those books and learn about psychology! She also tells me that while staying her I will be following a healthy lifestyle that means eating well and getting plenty of exercise so don't worry Mommy I am in great hands! She also let me in a little secret that we will soon be taking a trip to Niagara Falls for my host moms birthday I cant wait to see one of the wonders of the world!!!! |
