RikeH Posted Jun 14, 2009, 11:41 am	Hello, I am a ToyVoyager now - but I think, that I would not love to travel in envelopes, so I decided to travel with my Mum RikeH or stay at home and talk with the other TVs, who come and visit us. And I want to show the nicest views of our garden, because I love flowers. So, that is me with some nice flowers in the garden.
RikeH Posted Jun 16, 2009, 7:12 pm	Hello, Today we drove to Hamburg – Germany’s second largest city. The weather wasn’t that good, but there was no rain. So, we are ready to go ! You can see me in front of the town hall – a beautiful building. Next to it, there are swans – nice birds, but VERY big. Then there is just another view of the town hall. This is the Alster – a nice lake in the centre of Hamburg. There is a nice fountain on it – and small boats make trips over the lake. When we went into one shop, we saw this funny family. We were told, that they are film stars – and many people know them. It was a nice day.

RikeH Posted Jun 19, 2009, 10:55 am	Today we took a nice walk around Sülfeld. This is a cornfield, but the plants are really small now. Rike told us, that they will be much bigger in a few days. Maybe we can come again – and see it then. We found a little bridge over a small river. There were nice views in both directions. I tried to see fishes, but didn’t find any. After the long walk we had a rest in the sun – and talked a lot. Do you know, that ToyVoyager can talk together, although they come from different countries. I think, that we have our own language. At the end of our walk we saw this giant new green tractor. I wanted a picture with it – and here it is !
RikeH Posted Jun 21, 2009, 7:32 pm	This week-end we were lazy at home. We decided to explore the house and find some interesting things. First these wonderful flowers! After it I tried to call some other TV, but I didn’t know the numbers … Then we found these strange things- Rike told us, that they were used for horses, which worked on farms. But we didn’t see any horses here. If you are afraid of spiders, don’t look at the second photo!!! At the end I played the trumpet – okay – it is not a trumpet. Who knows, what kind of instrument it is, can send us a PM….. Now I will play it, so Rike cannot sleep – it is so funny to be a ToyVoyager.
RikeH Posted Jun 23, 2009, 7:38 pm	We went to Bad Segeberg – a nice small town with a very nice lake. Here are the Karl-May-Festivals – great fun. First we saw the church and next to it a beautiful big tree. Behind me is a monument for the festival – I love it ! Then we walked around the lake – we saw some ducks – and loved the different views over the lake! After the long walk we enjoyed to sit in the nature. A great day !
RikeH Posted Jun 24, 2009, 10:16 am	Today was Bree’s last day at Rike’s home, so Rike asked Bree, what she would love to do. She wished to go onto the playground and have a nice time there. Then it was time to say good-bye to Bree. We sat together in the lovely flowers. And especially I  hugged her, because we are very close friends now. Bree, I hope, that you will have great trips all around the world. Love dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 25, 2009, 1:12 pm	Hello from Sülfeld, Milala and Ninni  arrived at Rike’s home today – and there were Slummy, me and Murph waiting for them! Especially I was so happy to see Ninni, one of my missions is it to welcome 5 other bunnies – and she is the first one. We will become great friends – I am sure about it ! We all will go on a cruise on the River Danube, there is very high water at the moment – so it will be an adventure!!! Because we are nice TVs, we tried to help Rike to pack the bags. We decided that long hippo and blue hippo should come with us. Rike wasn’t that lucky with our idea, so we decided to need some games… Help, what is that? Rike told us something, like – you are not really helpful - and put us in this nice basket… …and now????  She had a strange smile in her face and brought us in the garden… Well, we cannot help her now – but because we are ToyVoyagers, we will start to talk and talk and talk. RikeH Posted Jul 5, 2009, 11:11 am	Hello from Bavaria, We started our tour in Passau. We explored the wonderful city and started with the Passauer Dom. Then we saw this lovely fountain with the beautiful building. Over the Danube we saw the Veste Oberhaus on the hill – it has a very long wall. Do you know that the Danube is the second longest river of Europe? And I will make a cruise on it – it is amazing!!!
RikeH Posted Jul 5, 2009, 2:14 pm	Hello from Passau again ! This morning we spent in Passau again. We had a beautiful view over the Danube. Because Rike know, that we wouldn't love the boring long trip with the bus in the afternoon, we were allowed to play and we saw a great car of the fire department Here we are on the long trip from Passau to Budapest. But we had fun – ToyVoyagers have always fun.
RikeH Posted Jul 6, 2009, 10:53 am	Hello from Budapest! We are in the capital of Hungary – normally it is sunny here, but we have an adventure trip, so we have been in a big thunderstorm with a lot of rain. Can you see me under the umbrella? We went back onto the ship – and found our bed that pretty ! After the dinner we had much better weather, so we went out. This is our ship – the Arosa Bella. This is the most famous bridge in Budapest. Really pretty! Postboxes are really funny here – we loved them.
RikeH Posted Jul 6, 2009, 3:26 pm	Hello from Hungary! Today we took a trip with the bus, because we wanted to see the Donau-Knee. You will see it on one of the photos. First we visited a small village, where many artists live. It has a nice church – and a great place. Then we went to a big Fortress, called Visegrad. We saw the Donau-Knee there, And later, from the place, where we had dinner, we saw the Fortress, We drove to the cathedral of Esztergom, one of the largest churches of Europe. It was amazing. When we stood next to it, we saw our ship in the Danube. Of course I wanted a photo ! Back on the ship, we made a photo of the cathedral of Esztergom. Isn't it beautiful? After it, I played on the ship.
RikeH Posted Jul 7, 2009, 9:37 am	Hello from Slovakia! In the morning, we explored the small city Komarno. It was very pretty. We saw the Town hall, a very nice building (a bank) and then a great fountain.

RikeH Posted Jul 7, 2009, 7:54 pm	Hello from the Danube and Vienna! On the way to Vienna, we passed Bratislava – and made these nice photos. This is the view out of the cabin. Then I relaxed on the sun-deck. It was wonderful. When I arrived in Vienna, I visited the big Stephans-Dom. After that, I went to the Hofburg, where are many Fiaker. I had fun in front of this monument of Johann Strauß!
RikeH Posted Jul 9, 2009, 8:33 am	Hello again from Vienna ! First we visited the beautiful Karlskirche and the townhall. After it I drove to the castle Belvedere. I loved the Statue – it is much bigger than I am. Then we relaxed together in the sun. In the afternoon we went to the prater - a funny place in the town. We first rode the big wheel – it is very old -it was built in 1897. After it we rode in the a funny little train called Liliputbahn. We love this holiday !!!
RikeH Posted Jul 9, 2009, 9:09 am	Hello from Melk! Today we visited the beautiful cathedral of Melk. It was so beautiful – I loved the interior and the garden,too. Back on the ship I played chess, but I didn't understand how to play Shuffleboard. Well, now our cruise is over – we only go to Passau and then back home to Sülfeld. We spent the last hours on the ship – watching out of the window and talking about our adventures!
RikeH Posted Jul 11, 2009, 2:00 pm	Hi from Sülfeld ! Pinkz and Meleca arrived at Rike’s home today – and there were me, Slummy, Milala, Murph and Ninni just coming back from our cruise! We gave them a warm welcome and talked a lot about our adventures. Ninni is the ToyVoyager of the week, we are all very excited and will have a party this week. She got beautiful flowers from Rike – we made a photo of both of us – and then with all of us! Later I went out in the garden to watch these lovely flowers on the little lake! Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jul 12, 2009, 2:08 pm	Today we went to Hamburg, because we celebrated Ninni. She is the ToyVoyager of the week. The weather wasn’t that nice on the way to Hamburg, but there it became better. First we did some sightseeing, but not too much. We looked at the town hall – first from the front – with the little festival, where we wanted to celebrate. Then we went to the other side of the town hall, where a nice fountain is. Here you can see us all together – celebrating Ninni!! And me playing in the wine! We had wine and ate something delicious – called Flammkuchen. You see a photo before we started – and when we finished. Oups – maybe a little too much wine? We really had a great time!!!
RikeH Posted Jul 17, 2009, 3:19 pm	Hello from Bad Segeberg ! We were in Bad Segeberg again, because we wanted to find the people from the monument. It is strange, that they are here – but we found out, that they play theatre in this town – written by Karl-May. We found this funny telephone box – and I wanted to call someone. But it didn’t work… This funny man had a good time. It was so hot, but he stood inside a fountain. I wanted to stand next to him, but RikeH didn’t allow it. So we only played outside the fountain. At the end of our walk, we saw this lovely church.
RikeH Posted Jul 18, 2009, 2:04 pm	Hello from Hamburg again. Last week we hadn’t had nice weather in Hamburg – so we tried it again today. And look, what we saw out of the window of our train – the sun! The town hall looks much nicer in the sunshine. And we saw the Alsterarkaden – they are very beautiful. Then we crossed the street and went to the Alster. There we saw the fountain and the nice boats. When we walked on the boarder of the lake, we saw swans and geese. This wonderful view is from the other side. Because we all loved this view, we wanted to have an own photo - and one from all of us! On the way back to the train station (on the second photo) we made a stop at the Kunsthalle – a museum of Art. Inside the station we waited for our train – and I wanted to show you the nice station! We entered the train and had a nice meal – what a great sunny trip!!!
RikeH Posted Jul 23, 2009, 9:27 am	Hello from Lübeck ! We went to Lübeck. It is a nice city – in 1987 the Unesco declared the existing cityscape to be a World Cultural Heritage Site. And it is a great city. First we saw the Holsten Gate – it was on the 50-DM-bank-note of Germany. But now they have the Euro here. Next to the Gate are the Salt Warehouses. Then we climbed up the tower of the St. Peter’s Church. We had a lovely view of the city… We saw some other nice buildings – and a funny animal. When we arrived at home, a new ToyVoyager was waiting for us - she is called Rhinono and we talked a lot! She came from China – and had a very fast trip ! What a wonderful day!
RikeH Posted Jul 27, 2009, 8:17 am	Hello from Hamburg, we went to the port of Hamburg today. Rike told us, that there are many beautiful ships. We started at the Landungsbrücken – it is the place where the ships arrived in the past. In the other direction we saw nice old ships – we made nice pictures nearer to them later this day. On our way to the old ships we saw these colorful bikes. They are for rent, but we didn’t rent them. My legs are too short for these bikes. Then we saw this big anchor – can you see me in front of it? This is the Rickmer Rickmers. In 1896 it was constructed as a three-master ship on Rickmer's shipyard in Bremerhaven. It was rebuilt to a three-master barque in Capetown in 1904 after having been damaged a heavy storm. The Rickmer Rickmers was sailing between Europe and Chile, loaded mainly with carbon and nitre. In 1916 it was confiscated by the Portugueses. From this time on it was used as training ship for the Portuguese navy under the name SAGRES. In 1983 it was sold to the organization "Windjammer for Hamburg" and towed to Hamburg - as a fully dilapidated hulk (without masts). After a restoration of several year the wrack became a neat symbol of the Hamburg harbour. Important facilities like the engine-room or the officers' cabins were restored with love. The ship can be visited daily. Under deck there is a restaurant as well as a show room where interesting, often changing exhibitions of maritime contents can be seen. We didn’t want to see the inside – so we only took nice photos from the outside. This is the other old ship. The Cap San Diego, built in 1961, is a unique testimony to seafaring and is berthed in her old home harbor of Hamburg as a »museum you can touch« since 1986. She is the last of the classic cargo ships, referred to as the "White Swan of the South Atlantic." This is the look over the port where a swimming crane came along. At the end we saw the fire-ship – and on the other side a huge building, where a big publisher has his rooms. The church you can see behind the building is called ‘The Michel’ and is a very famous church for the people from Hamburg. I really loved this day at the port. Hamburg is a wonderful city!
RikeH Posted Aug 2, 2009, 10:16 am	Hello from Hamburg again,   we went to the cruise ship terminal in Hamburg today. That was the big tower – we will have a nice view of the ship, when we are on the tower. But you can see, what happened. We saw the building, but there was no cruise ship. Then I looked in another direction and found a beautiful ship. We all decided that we wanted to play on it. We played hide and seek. I was the first who run away and I found a great place to hide. After it we wanted a photo on the ship. First we were on the deck… …then we climbed onto the mast. We had a nice view from there! We talked and enjoyed the sun! We decided to have a race to the swing. Rhinono had the best start – she jumped – and won. We others climbed down the mast. Rhinono is very brave! On the swing we had a great time. Playgrounds are great for ToyVoyagers. At the end I relaxed in the hammock. What a wonderful day in Hamburg again!
RikeH Posted Aug 3, 2009, 7:17 pm	Hello from Sülfeld ! It is Sunday – and we made a tour with the bike. We made a rest at a nice place. You can see me on the bike. This is a big field with corn, but it is not really ready to be eaten. Here you can see all of us – we had so much fun together on the bike! Look – how long our way was! Some miles later we saw these nice horses. Back home Rike showed us, how the corn looks like, when you buy it in a shop.
RikeH Posted Aug 8, 2009, 5:54 pm	Hello from Hamburg again. here is a big fair – called Dom. First we looked around and saw many people and carrousels. One was for children; the next one was very interesting – so fast moves… Then I was very afraid – a white shark came from the side. Fortunately I found out that he was a friendly shark – and I was allowed to make this scary photo! That was amazing. I needed to eat something – and found delicious strawberries with chocolate. We then saw the big roller coaster with two loops. I didn’t want to try it out… Look at this funny corn-man. I loved him!!! Later we saw a boat trip – the people became wet in it – it was funny. We wanted a nice photo of the group and found this funny place. After it, we bought a nice heart from Hamburg. When we walked around we saw the big wheel. It is really big – the biggest big wheel, that can travel around the world. Maybe it is a Big Wheel Voyager? I wanted to make a trip with the big wheel – and we went into it. I had to hold the hand of Tobi, because he was a little afraid. (Or maybe I was a little scared, because it was so high.) We saw many interesting things from Hamburg from high above - the Dom, the Port and the church Michel. It was great! What a wonderful day!!!! We went back home and relaxed on the couch.
RikeH Posted Aug 9, 2009, 4:55 pm	Greetings from the stadium in Hamburg ! Today it is time for sports – not me, of course. I went to the HSV – a German soccer team. The best of course! We went into the stadium. It is really big. Before the match started, all players were on the field for the warm-up. We had nice places – but later more people came to watch the match. At the end, our team lost – bad luck…. But it was interesting – and better than watching it in the TV.
RikeH Posted Aug 9, 2009, 4:58 pm	When I came back from the match in Hamburg, I decided to find two friends. ThomasHH and BineHH were lost. I decided to find them again. I asked the crystal ball and looked into it to find both. I had to get closer to it, it is hard work…. BANG – it worked. I don’t know why, but both are back in Sülfeld. That is great !!!! We are all very happy – what an amazing crystal ball. But look – it wasn’t a crystal ball, but a magic hippo. Thanks magic hippo – they are back home again!
RikeH Posted Aug 9, 2009, 9:05 pm	Hello from the port of Hamburg, ThomasHH and BineHH came back from nowhere with the help of me and a magic hippo. They were both lost – what a bad experience. We all hope, that we never will have this experience again. We are so happy that they are back! We talked about our trips and came to the topic of cruise ships. RikeH told us about a big ship that will be in Hamburg today. It is called Queen Mary 2. We couldn’t believe how big it is. length: 1132 feet / 345 meters, Height 236 feet 2 inches / 72 meters. Passengers: 2620 (3090 max). We think that maybe all TVs could travel on it at the same time. That would be a party. We decided to go to Hamburg again – and see the QM2 in reality. But first we saw a model –it is not really big… We went to the Cruise Terminal – you remember – I have been there last week, when there wasn’t any ship. Wow – the QM2 is really big!!! In the afternoon we went to the port again, because we wanted to see the ship, when it was in action on the river Elbe. We waited… Then it came – it is amazing!!! I think, I should go on my next cruise soon! But I loved the small ship on the Danube, too.

Wow there are a lot of lamps!!! I loved a brown lamp, but RikeHs friend decided to buy this one. It is really funny – it looks like an unidentified flying object. Help, I think it is an UFO……
RikeH Posted Aug 24, 2009, 9:08 pm	Hello from Hamburg, We went to the Speicherstadt of Hamburg today. This is the place, where the old storehouses are. But the place changed – and there are many new buildings now. Here you can see, that they build many new houses. This is a nice old ship – we loved it. These are the old houses – they are very beautiful. This is the church called Michel. It is a symbol for Hamburg and we will go on the top now. But first we saw this monument – a woman called Zitronenjette. Now we are on the top of the Michel. The weather is not the best, but we can see a lot. Do you see the big wheel – I’ve been on it some days ago. These are views over the port - and the city. Look, there is the Speicherstadt !!! Back on the ground we saw the town hall. Next to it, there are swans – and nice buildings. What a wonderful day!
RikeH Posted Aug 24, 2009, 10:30 pm	Hello from Bad Oldesloe, We have a new ToyVoyager now. He is called Michel and his Mum is the Mum of RikeH. Isn’t that funny? RikeH is my Mum – so he is my uncle, I think. I gave him a warm welcome. Then he said hello to all of us – and gave us some sweets. What a nice surprise! He just arrived in the right time, because we went to a small city called Bad Oldesloe. We made a nice walk there. Can you see this nice mill-wheel behind me? There are many old houses like this in the city. There is a nice small river in the city. Mum, I just found out, that I will become a policeman soon. They have so beautiful cars! There was a beautiful fountain in front of the town hall. I am so excited – RikeH told us, that we will go to the Zoo soon – and to a birthday party.
RikeH Posted Aug 25, 2009, 11:36 am	Hello from the Zoo ! What a great day. We went to the Zoo of Hamburg today. It is called Hagenbeck and was founded on this place in May 1907 – what a long time! First we saw the elephants – there are small ones – they are so cute – and they played together. This was the first gate of the Zoo. Now the Zoo is bigger – so the gate is inside the park. We saw this funny bird and zebras. A Zoo is really nice, but I prefer to travel around with RikeH! The giraffes are the biggest animals – hm, ThomasHH is smaller. But this is better for a TV... We found some bunnies; they seem to have a nice life there. At the end we’ve been in the Aquarium – what a lot of nice and colourful fishes! It was a wonderful day in the Zoo!
RikeH Posted Aug 29, 2009, 11:58 am	Hello from Sülfeld! I’ve been on a birthday party today. It was a lot of fun – and I ate so much! First I helped with the barbecue. Everything looked so delicious! In the afternoon we get coffee and cakes! There was one with carrots! After it, we sat together and had a lot of fun!
RikeH Posted Aug 29, 2009, 12:00 pm	Hello from Grabau ! We made a trip to a nice little park near to Sülfeld. Here you can see us on a big stone. This is a really funny tree. We found a small lodge at the lake side. It is a place to watch birds! Can you see me in the tree? (Next to the BIG bird) At the end of the trip, we went to the playground. What a nice place!

Back home Rhinono and Michel told us, that they will leave us now. We all were very sad – and gave them a big hug! I told both of them, that they were great guests – and I hope that they will have great adventures with their new hosts!
RikeH Posted Sep 5, 2009, 4:12 pm	Hello from Norderstedt ! Two days ago a new guest arrived. He is called Orpheus and he is from Canada. First I gave him a warm welcome. Then I introduced him to the other TVs. Today we had a nice evening. We visited a friend and played games. First we played a funny game with animals in the Zoo. After it we ate delicious ice-cream – it was yummy! The second game was about the Stock Exchange and shares. When I came back – I looked at my Life Missions – So far I welcomed 14 different TVs from 9 different countries, 4 different continents – and only one other bunny. Kunigunde - a pig from Germany, Lupus-Tigger - a tiger from Austria, Penny - a cat from the USA, Bree – a giraffe from Italy, Slummy – a dragon from Germany, Milala – a bear from Hong Kong, Ninni a bunny from Finland, Meleca a girl from Brazil,Rhinono – a rhino from China,  Michel – a bear from Germany, Murph – a monster from the USA, Pinkz – a zebra-tiger from the USA,  Nippy – a penguin from the USA and  Orpheus – a bird from Canada. No of my missions is fulfilled, but maybe one – because I love and enjoy my life as a TV! So I will mark it as fulfilled! Yours Dicker Kumpel

I already saw it, but wanted to have some photos with my friends. Here you can see us in front of the Alster. Some views from the other side: The Hummel is a typical for Hamburg – we made some funny photos on two different Hummel-Men.
RikeH Posted Sep 12, 2009, 3:40 pm	Hello from Sülfeld Today we played in the garden. The other made a race – but I enjoyed the sun. After it we relaxed in beautiful trees. I really loved them. It was time to say good-bye to Nippy and Pinkz. They get a big hug! Especially Pinkz has become a great friend of mine – I will miss her! We will go on a nice holiday soon. I hope that we can do some updates – but if not, be sure that we have a good time. And we will update, when we come back.

Today we reached Slovenia and made a nice walk through the Vintgar Gorge. It was wonderful with many green trees and the nice river. Back home we were so tired and went to bed.

RikeH Posted Sep 16, 2009, 5:07 pm	Hello from the Julian Alps. We drove over the Vrsic Pass today. It is the highest mountain pass in Slovenia (1611m) and it has 48 hairpin bends. On the way to the pass, we saw a nice little russian church. I hope that you can see me on the photo... Then we saw some funny sheep on the street – maybe they wanted to see the pass, too. Or they are a kind of sheep travellers. Who knows... Here I am on the highest pass... ...and that was our view! In the evening we tasted a delicious glass of Slovenian Wine. Today I send Birthday Wishes to TobiHH and Tobi!
RikeH Posted Sep 16, 2009, 5:17 pm	Hello from Kobarid! In the morning we had rain, so we played as nice game called Carcassone. Later the weather went better and we walked the Kobarid historical trail. We started next to the Italian Charnel House with the Church of St, Anton. We had a nice view. Then we saw the Soca Gorge, which has the great color of blue-green. We walked across the wooden, hanging bridge over the Soca River. The highlight of the path was the Slap Kozjak, a beautiful waterfall in a cave-like area. The trail was a little tricky in some parts. We had to walk across narrow stone bridges without handrails and climb some slippery rock slabs, but it is well worth the effort. What a great day!
RikeH Posted Sep 18, 2009, 8:04 pm	Hello from Krk, Yesterday we didn't take many photos, but we visited a nice stalactite cave. It was great, but we were not allowed to take photos there. So I had only two photos yesterday – the first was made on the same place as the day before – but look, we had much nicer weather! In the evening we explored the garden of our first hotel in Croatia – and I met a friendly turtle. Today we started the day with sunshine again. This is the Marina in Pulan on KRK. KRK is a funny name for an island, I think. We visited the village Vrbnik – with a nice old town. You see me in front of the church – and with a great view over the water. Then we went to another village called Baska – the beach is 1.8 km long! Then I played on a modern ship! Back home I enjoyed the view from our room.
RikeH Posted Sep 23, 2009, 7:58 pm	Hello from Plitvicka, Yesterday we visited the town Krk on the Krk Island – and saw this nice old castle. On the time square was a funny clock on the tower – it showed 24 hours instead of the normal 12 hours, Maybe you can see it on the photo? On our way to the next Highligt – the Plitvicka Jezera (Lakes) we stopped at the roadside and took these two beautiful photos. Today we visited the Plitvicka Lakes. There are many lakes and falls. Here you can see me in front of one nice fall. It was far away – but beautiful. There was a beautiful little river inside the forest. A wonderful wide waterful – with a nice green pool in front of it. I would have loved to take a bath in it, but I was not allowed to do it. This is the highest waterfall in Croatia – 78 m! At the end we had a great view over the Park. It was a wonderful day in the national park!

We had great views of the mountains. Fortunately we didn't walked too much. We are lazy ToyVoyagers. Mum told me, that we will make a boat trip tomorrow – that should be fun!
RikeH Posted Sep 25, 2009, 2:26 pm	Hello from Zadar, Today we made a nice boat trip to the Kornati Islands. Kornati is an archipelago of 125 islets and reefs. We started in Zadar and had nice views around. We stopped on a nice island and had a view over the Bay and some wonderful Cliffs. Back home we relaxed on the balcony and saw a colorful sunset. We are great friends now – and we are happy to travel together for some more days!
RikeH Posted Sep 25, 2009, 2:33 pm	Hi from Trogir, when we started today – we saw, that there are Kiwis growing here in Croatia – this is funny! We went into another great National Park, called KRKA National Park. We walked over nice paths and saw many waterfalls, they are not as high as the others a few days ago – but very wide. First we planned out tour. Here you can see two of the waterfalls. Here we are both in front of one of the nicest views! Later that day, we visited a nice old town, called Trogir. In the 3rd century BC it was founded by Greek colonists as Tragurion. That is really old. Here you see me on the nicest square in the little city. At the seaside was a nice promenade – with palm trees – they are so beautiful! It was a great day – with nature and culture.
RikeH Posted Sep 28, 2009, 9:52 am	Hello from Hvar, yesterday we went to the Hvar Island with a ferry. You can see me on the ferry – in the afternoon we visited an old city called Stari Grad. Today we visited another really nice city on the Hvar Island – called Hvar. There are many old buildings, a port – and a castle on the hill. We found this interesting plant – the aloe vera. It was big enough to sit on it. We really loved this island, although it was so hot on it – about 29 degrees Celsius.
RikeH Posted Sep 28, 2009, 9:57 am	Hello from Montenegro! We visited the monastir Ostrog in the mountains today – it is very famous in Montenegro. There were many people on this day – we had a traffic jam on our way back into the Valley. This was the new part : And this was the old one – built in the mountain. On our way to Budva we saw another famous place in Montenegro – the Sveti Stephan. In our appartement we sang Happy Birthday for Murph and gave him a big hug. After it we ate a lot of Chips and had a great evening.

Back home we relaxed on the balcony and tried some freeclimbing. Later we played on the ventilator. It was like a big fast roundabout. In the evening we worked on the laptop to update our travel logs.
RikeH Posted Oct 3, 2009, 9:24 pm	Hello from Kotor, We visited another nice old town in Montenegro today. It is called Kotor – the old town was built between the 12th and 14th century. This is old. Here I was in front of the big church. These are the big walls around the city. In the Harbour were two cruise ships – you can see me in front of the smaller one – it was beautiful! Tomorrow we will leave Montenegro and go back to Croatia

It was a long walk – but it was worth it. First we saw it from far away – it looked great! Then we began our walk on the big walls.This is the most important street. A view of the old port. People laughed about RikeH - - taking photos of us in front of us. Do you understand this? Then we saw the arena (colloseum). It is really big! And we visited the Temple of Roma and Augustus. Today we are on our way to Slovenia again. Before boarding our car, we found this great mushroom. There were some ducks in the lake and a big statue outside. We found a nice palm tree – in the North of Germany – that is strange, isn’t it? I saw some in Croatia some weeks ago... On the way we saw this funny garden – full of garden gnomes. Next to the handball statium is the soccer stadium, where the famous HSV plays. RikeH Posted Oct 27, 2009, 6:27 pm	Dear Mum, yesterday I travelled to Hamburg to my friends Tobias und MP. Together we started today our trip to Bremen, a large town beside the river Weser in the north-western part of Germany. Bremen has an interesting historic oldtown which is worthwile to visit. We neither want to go on a sightseeing-tour through the town nor to make a cruise on the river. We went to Bremen to drive motorkarts in a 5.300 qm hall which spreads over two levels of a factory building. Now we arrived in front of the kart-hall: The karttrack is on the 5th and 6th floor. Here you see the marked route and the shadows of karts which are very fast with 6,5 hp. After waiting for a while I could enter my own kart. I had the No. 17. ... and now I could start!! Driving a kart is hard work because their steering doesn't have a power steering. After finishing we went in a café and drank a cappuccino to get new energy. Our next destination was Bochum, a town in western Germany. After checking in in our hotel I moved into my room - when I looked out of the window I saw the main-railway- station. In the evening we went to the famous musical "Starlight Express" in the Starlight Hall in Bochum. The first performance in Germany was in June 1988 – in the last 21 years more than 12 million members of the audience saw the play so it is the most successful musical in the world which plays in one theatre. During the show it isn't possible to talk with the actors. So I tried to catch them in the break... and I had luck! I met Electra, the Electricity-locomotive, and Dustin, a coal- waggon who helps Rusty, the main actor, a steam engine-locomotive. On our way back to the hotel we passed the main-railway-station. It looks really nice with the lights inside. Back in the hotel I went very tired to bed because it was a taxing day - but is was beautiful with driving a kart and visiting "Starlight Express". RikeH Posted Oct 28, 2009, 8:33 pm	In the morning we slept very long. Late in the morning we drove to Gelsenkirchen which is nearby Bochum. We went to the Multiplex Cinema and saw the film “Gangs”. In the large auditorium were in addition to MP, Tobias and me only women: one mother and nine girls … the main actors are Jimmy and Wilson Ochsenknecht, two charming boys – the heart-throbs of girls. When the film was over we walked 500 m to the Veltins Arena, the home of the football club Schalke 04. Today their team played against the Hamburger Sportverein, the HSV. We – MP, Tobias and me – are Hamburger and HSV-fans. So we were at Schalke to cheer up our HSV. Here, Mum, you see me in front of the Veltins Arena and on the stand of the stadion. First there were nearly nobody … 1 ½ hours later the arena was sold out with 61.673 spectators. After a while the teams came out of their changing rooms to warm up. The game was very exiting. My HSV shoot two goals in the first half-time … all HSV-fans celebrated the leading position. Finally the game ended Schalke 04 : HSV = 3 : 3. It was a beautifull evening at Schalke. Now we had to drive home. The distance between Gelsenkirchen and Hamburg is 400 km. So we decided to make a break on our way back to the north. We had dinner in an international restaurant. The chips and the burger tasted fine. Afterwards we continued our return journey and arrived in Hamburg in the late night. That was not a problem for me because I didn’t had to work the next day. I only had to welcome Cilly who had arrived on Saturday in Sülfeld. Thanks MP and Tobias for the beautiful excursion to Bremen, Bochum and Gelsenkirchen with kart-driving, visiting the “Starlight Express”, going to the cinema watching “Gangs” and cheering up the HSV at Schalke. It looks easy, but it is very difficult. So they asked a lot of questions. I began. But first I watched where the balls were. It was fun! After playing for a while we explored the room. When we helped RikeH to prepare everything for the evening we heard the bell. Who can this be? I opened the door. Another Bunny!!! I am so happy and gave her a warm welcome. She is called Co Co Rabbit and is from the UK. I introduced her to the others. Then we decorated the table – this is the way TVs would eat… And this is the way, humans like to do it. They don’t sit on the table – this is strange. We had fun behind the happy birthday sign. The last thing this morning was to prepare the dessert. It looks yummy, doesn’t it? In the evening we had a great party and ate a lot. But first we had some Champagne. We went to the table and ate so much. I didn’t know, what to eat first. Here are the desserts – now we were allowed to eat it. Some more snacks... First we looked into the camera for the photo.... ...but after it – we ate everything!!! RikeH Posted Nov 15, 2009, 9:58 pm	Hello from Hamburg, it was really early today, when RikeH came and invited us to come with her. We get up and took a train. It was very dark outside. So I decided to take another nap. RikeH worked a lot – then we had the lunch break and walked around the Alster -a nice lake in the centre of Hamburg. There were some geese. Two photos with all of us. We found a funny monument with angels. Another boat on the Alster. Here I am on the other side of the lake. This is the townhall – it is beautiful. I always want to have a photo with it. RikeH had to work in the afternoon – after the work we drove back to Sülfeld and had a stop in the train station. Look – it is decorated for Christmas – Christmas seems to be wonderful. Back in the train I looked out of the window – it is dark again. Working seems to be hard. I prefer to be a ToyVoyager. Because the weather was nice – no rain today – we made a walk around Sülfeld. First we stopped at a big tractor. Look, there is a beautiful big tree. We went over a bridge and had nice views to both sides of it. We found the last summer-flowers! Later we wanted to do some sports. We saw a soccer field and played it. I was the goalkeeper. We started to Hamburg early in the morning. Then RikeH showed us the place, where she works. There were some friendly toys. I think the one with the red hairs looked really funny. Look I worked a lot and was a big help ! We had delicious lunch... and then something nice to drink. I loved the flowers on the table. In the evening we went home – using the Tube. We had a last stop at the fuel station and discussed to buy a new car for us. I want to have a Ferrari. And Christmas is coming... Working seems to be not so much fun, I don't understand, why people are doing it. Love. Dicker Kumpel

Can you see the church in the background – it is called Michel – and it is very famous here in Hamburg. Then we visited Bismarck – he was an important politician many years ago. From this place we could see the Michel again. It is a beautiful church. Another nice view over the port. It was such a sunny day! On our way back we had a nice snack in the train. We ate the sweets he brought – and talked a lot. We went to a Christmas market on a nice big farm house. Here you can see it. It was raining..but I talked to a brown snowman, who didn't melt. Here you see me inside the old stables, where the people sold their beautiful things. On the way back we saw another view of the house. RikeH told me that I will see more Christmas Markets soon. Something is strange about Marshall – he seems to be a sheep, but I am not really sure about it. I will have a closer look at him the next days... Dicker Kumpel

First you can see us on the 180-sign. You have to put it in the air, if the player scores 3 times the triple 20 – worth 180. We had a great place and were able to see the players on the stage. In the break we went around and ate delicious things. You can see another view of the place. In the end Phil Taylor won – he is the best player in the world and my new hero! Greetings Dicker Kumpel

Then I introduced him to some other nice guys, we will make a trip together next week. But today 3 of us make a short trip to Hamburg with RikeH. We went there with a new train. We looked out of the window – it is a beautiful winterview – I am not sure, if you can see it – but I saw it. This man is very famous in Hamburg – he is called Hummel. Can you see me? We found the first Christmas Tree : Outside we saw a much bigger Tree. Some views of the Christmas Market in Hamburg. We went back home and started in the main train station. RikeH Posted Dec 6, 2009, 9:31 pm	Hello Mum, Two new guests arrived - I gave both a warm welcome. On the photo with Mandy Sheep is also Cilly, because both have the same Mum. Today is St, Nicholas Day in Germany – maybe all over the world. We don't know that. It means that you have to clean your boots – and put them next to the door. Then they will be filled with delicious sweets. We all wanted to do it, but we found out that we don't have boots and were very sad. But then we found out that RikeH's Mum helped us – and bought this beautiful boot for us. And we loved the sweets inside. It was especially Twix, who loved the sweets inside... In the afternoon – after eating a lot of sweets, we visited RikeH's mum – Hummel. She had a lot of Christmas things – so we could make a lot of photos. First with the Advent wreath. A friendly nutcracker. Beautiful things out of wood. Then we visited some angels – some of them are an orchestra and play wonderful music. Here you can see all of us with a very famous person – Rudolf the red-nose reindeer. He is living here – what a great place. And I sat next to him. It is so exciting! Before we left Hummel's home I talked to two guys who were sitting there. Maybe one of them will become a ToyVoyager in the future... Bye Dicker Kumpel

Then we went outside and watched the airplanes. And now I am IN one of the planes – it is amazing!!! I was able to look out of the window – we were really high above the ground. Here you see all of us together! In the evening we arrived in our new home. But we were too tired to take more photos.
RikeH Posted Dec 8, 2009, 7:26 pm	Hi from London! We started to explore the city of London. And because of the great weather we jumped into the London Eye. Here you see me inside. This is me on front of one of the other cabins! We had so much fun - and after the 'flight' we went to the houses of Parliament with the tower called Big Ben. Later we had this great look at the London Eye. We saw the changing of the Horse Guards. At the end we made a stop at Trafalgar Square – but it was too cold to take a bath in the fountain. What a great day in London!
RikeH Posted Dec 9, 2009, 8:11 pm	Good morning from London! We will visit the Queen today – or at least watch the changing of the guards in front of the Buckingham Palace. This is normal for tourists – there were hundreds or maybe thousands, but only a few ToyVoyagers. Well, on our way to the Palace we saw the Parliament again – this time it looked even better – so we made another photo. After it we went through a park – some of us saw squirrels I only saw the last part of it. We reached the Palace. Although we were very early, there were so many people. You can see me in front of the Palace: And this is the monument next to it. Then it started : many musicians came and some guards. After the ceremony we went to visit the Tower of London. On the way we found Julius Caesar. This was me in front of the Tower: We saw the juwels of the Queen, but we were not allowed to take photos inside. But we found this friendly knight. He was so nice and hold me in his hand. And you can see a part of the Tower Bridge behind us. Before we went home we had this great view of the Tower Bridge. Back home we talked a lot about our adventures. We have a strange white Christmas Tree here. Many Greetings to Bine and Holgi!!! Maybe you remember that I thought that something is strange with Marshall – he is a very nice guy, but for a sheep? Look – there is he sitting with Mandy Sheep – she is a typical sheep I think. We other looked from the other side. I decided to talk to Marshall – and ask him about his sometimes strange behaviour. He told us that he is a wolf and not a sheep. A Wolf??????? We all were very scared, only Lucan was cool – and stayed next to Marshall and talked with him. Marshall told us that he is a friendly wolf and didn't find the right words to tell us that he is not a sheep. Well that is not a problem. Now we know why he was such a strange sheep – and he is our friend, Marshall the Wolf. What another exciting day!
RikeH Posted Dec 12, 2009, 5:33 pm	We started our day and bought a ticket for a big bus. This was fun. First we decided where we wanted do go to. We drove over the Tower Bridge. We all love the Tower Bridge. We went in the park again, because yesterday Lucan didn't saw the squirrel. Today we were happy, because now all of us have a photo with a sqirrel. Then we went into the Hyde Park to visit the Christmas Market. It is called Winter Wonderland here. We saw a nice place where people danced on ice... this is strange... Hey, we met some Santa Clauses – I thought that there is only one in the world? In the evening we ran around in the flat – and wanted to show some more of the funny things in this house. Look in the staircase. We had two funny tables in the flat. The round one shows a map of the busses in London. The other one had a plan of the Tubes on it. I showed the others, where our nearest station was. A pillow from London: A curtain of London: and a funny teapot. Maybe the British people are sometimes a little weird??? But I like it here. Hey – all of us in front of the Tower Bridge – we love the Tower Bridge!!! This wonderful church is called St. Pauls Cathedral. We went on a boat trip on the river Thames. It was dark outside – and we asked RikeH to made a last photo of us in London. You cannot believe where we wanted it. It is such a wonderful bridge. We had such a great time in London. First we had a look over the port. The ship on the right side is the one for me. It is called Albatros. I thought that would be a better name for a plane... We saw two other ships. Here is the solution: There are beautiful trees with the snow on it. These two friendly guys were in front of our house. In the house we first sat on the radiator to get dry. RikeH Posted Dec 27, 2009, 6:54 pm	Merry Christmas, On the 24th of December the people celebrate Christmas in Germany. In the North it is Santa Claus, who brings the gifts, in the south it is the Christ Child. Because we are in the North, normally we have Santa Claus – but this year it was different – just have a look. This is the Christmas Tree – I really love it! Under the Christmas Tree there were many Christmas Cards from all over the world. Another nice Christmas decoration! We all sat together and RikeH read the Nativity story for us. It is about Maria, Josef and their child Jesus. What a surprise – I were able to visit them – in a stable... Then the important time of the evening came. The gifts!!! Four Christmas people came – a Christmas Bear, Rudolph, the famous Rendeer, a big Snowman – and Santa Claus. Hm – Santa Claus??? It was a Santa Bunny. Maybe because I am living here? Well, I told a Christmas-poem and Santa Bunny gave me a present. I opened it – some sweets. I love Christmas. Twix got more sweets, and because it was Christmas he shared it with us! After eating all of Twix’s sweets – and when we all got our gifts, we sat together and sang the wonderful German Christmas Songs. I especially loved ‘Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht.’ I wish all of you a great Christmas Time! Love Dicker Kumpel

The clothes for the bottle were so funny – I tried it out, We had something delicious to eat. It was called Chesse-Fondue. Later we had a great dessert, too. A kind of Tiramisu. We played an interesting game – and I won it! When we came close to midnight, we had a glass of Champagne and something delicious called 'Berliner'. We talked a lot – and he told us a lot about Canada. Then he showed us his foot. We all loved the nice Tattoo on it. RikeH Posted Jan 14, 2010, 7:10 pm	Hi from snowy Sülfeld, We have winter here in Germany now. I wanted to show Sülfeld in the snow to you. So we made a nice walk this Monday. This is the old school. The church is so beautiful in the snow – and the pharmacy is on the other side of the street. A nice view of our way: I had a great idea – I should build a snowman. It was hard work for a little ToyVoyager like me. But look, he is great, isn’t he? Well – I really love him... Or at least his nose – maybe I should visit him in the night, when all the others are sleeping... And look, who is back. My good old friend Murph. I am so happy that he is here again. RikeH Posted Jan 18, 2010, 4:40 pm	Hi from ???, today we started our trip. It was very early in the morning – and snowy. Look – what I saw. Not much, We went from Hamburg to Frankfurt with a fast train called ICE-Train. It has nothing to do with the weather in Germany at the moment. Here you see all of us together. We all got something to eat : Here you see what I got. When we arrived at the airport we were too early for the check-in. So we waited and watched the queue for the Emirates Flight. We needed another airline, but I will tell you later, where we went. SURPRISE!!! When we waited to board the plane, we went to a place where we were able to see the planes. Look – there is our plane coming. I had a place at the window – it was a wonderful view! I had a delicious dinner – fresh fish with rice and vegetables. It went dark outside – the sky was so beautiful! I can tell you that we had a safe landing and stay in a nice hotel. But I won't tell you now, where I am. Greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jan 18, 2010, 8:12 pm	Hello from Jordan, on this photo you can see, where I spend this holiday – in Jordan. We started in Amman and went through the city. They write with nice letters here. We went to Umm Qeis, to the Ruins of the old town Gadara. First we saw the Amphitheatre. Here we were: I had a great view from my place. Then we went to another place – there was a Basilica in the past. From this place I could see Israel and Syria. I saw the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Really interesting. On the tour to the next place I saw a supermarket – I love the letters here! The next historical place was called Pella. This was a marble column – I loved the color. We drove to a very interesting place – called the Dead Sea. It is 422 m below the sea level – this was strange. The humans behaved really strange there – they put something black on their skins, waited ten minutes, and then went into the water. I didn't understand it. After the long time inside the bus I decided to take a rest and I enjoyed the sun on the beach. Later we had a picnic with delicious Hamburgers on the beach. What a great first day in Jordan.
RikeH Posted Jan 18, 2010, 9:49 pm	Hello again from Jordan, Today was a great day for Jordan. Not only that I visited the country, but it was raining. They don't have many rain here, so we were happy for the Jordan People and decided to visit a Museum of Archeology. Here you can see some intersting things. This was the view from the entrance of the Museum – the Temple of Hercules behind me. We went to the big Amphittheater of Amman – I love these old buildings. Next to it was another nice museum. We saw there, how the people in Jordan lived in the past. We went through Amman and the souk. Here I was in front of a Mosque. They sold delicious fruits and vegetables here. Another old building. We went to another great place – called Jerash. It is a very big old city – wonderful. We walked around there for 2 hours. First a Gate... ...the big oval place.. ...the Nympheum... and the oval place from a hill. A really great place to visit – and the rain stopped, when we were there. Back home in the hotel we all drank soft drinks. We were not able to read, what it was, but it was jummy. After it Nasse shared his sweets with us – funny pig-sweets. Another really great day here. It is so nice to be a ToyVoyager!!!
RikeH Posted Jan 31, 2010, 4:35 pm	Hello from Madaba, today we left Amman and drove south. First we visited the Mount Nebo, a mountain where – according to the Bible, the prophet Moses is believed to have died. We had a great view from the top. There was a beautiful mosaic – normally in a church – but now in a tent. Look - what a big stone – in memorial of Moses. After having a great time on the hill – with really beautiful views, we drove to Madaba. The city is best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, expeciallaya large Byzantine-era mosaic map of the Holy Land. We went into the Greek Orthodox Basilica of Saint Georg, where the famous mosaic is. Then we drove through a gorgeous landscape. We stopped to look into the Wadi Mujib. One hour later we came to Kerak, known for its famous Crusader Castle. We visited it – it was wonderful – I would love to be a knight, I think. In the evening we sat outside the room in the hotel and talked a lot. This time we ate the Snickers from Landroval.
RikeH Posted Feb 2, 2010, 11:45 am	Hello from Petra, today we visited one of the most famous places in Jordan, it is a city called Petra – a Unesco World Heritage Site. First we had to walk through the Siq – a dark narrow gorge. At the end of the Siq we had this view of Al Khazneh (the Treasury). Here I am in front of the Treasury. Here you see many tombs in the stone. They had an amphittheatre, too. We climbed up 200 stairs to visit the big Urn Tomb – and had a great view from the place. There were donkeys here. We went into an old church and saw some mosaics. I found a bunny. We were very important in the older times, I think. We decided to make a long walk – about 800 stairs!!! But I was happy – RikeH put me in her bag, so I didn’t had to walk all the way on my short legs. Some expressions from the way. A really steep gorge: This is the place we wanted to see – El Deir (the Monastery). It was great! On our way back we had nice views, too. Back in the valley the sun came – and we saw all in different colors. This was our hotel: We had a delicious dinner in the evening – very important after the long interesting day!
RikeH Posted Feb 4, 2010, 7:21 pm	Hello from Wadi Rum, we had so much fun today. We made a trip with a Jeep through the Wadi Rum. We learnt that they made the Movie Lawrence from Arabia here. I never heart of it before. But the nature was nice. On our way to the Wadi Rum, we stopped at a nice place and saw the Valley of Petra. It was wonderful. Look – what a funny tree. If someone knows its name, please send a PM to RikeH. Here you can see us on our Jeep. We drove really fast and enjoyed the nature around. There was another Jeep behind us, but we were in the leading team. Our first stop – nice mountains and writing on the walls. The second stop - with a beautiful gorge. We stopped in front of a big Dune. We walked onto the top of it – and had a great view. What a wonderful day !

We went through the garden and found beautiful flowers. Outside we saw these nice young dogs. Back in the hotel we wanted to drive on this funny bike, but we are not allowed, because we TVs were too young. So we decided to relax and enjoy the last evening. What a wonderful holiday in Jordan. I gave her a warm welcome – it is nice to have another bunny here! We talked a lot – and she showed a viewcard from her country. Today we decided to drive to a nice small town. It is called Bad Oldesloe. RikeH went to school there – many many years ago. They have a nice river there. I liked it – and saw some funny ducks in the water and on the ice. This is the townhall. Then I introduced him to the others. Today we will have a great time – it is Carnival Monday. So I searched for a nice hat. RikeH offered three different ones. I decided to take the green one. Then I watched the parade in the TV. The people in the parade threw sweets – called Kamelle... and I cought some. I had so many... I shared the sweets with my friends. What a wonderful day! We went to the Alster – a big lake in the centre of Hamburg. The weather wasn't very nice. So we decided to eat something delicious in a chinese restaurant. I helped RikeH to write some postcards – they were really beautiful. After it I looked out of the window. There was still snow outside. I jumped around in the train – but it was not allowed, so RikeH put me in this funny net. We wanted to explore the city, but the weather was awful. So we went into a big mall in the middle of Hamburg. We saw a shop with many nice toys – maybe one of them will become a TV, too? This was the mall – really big! Then I played on the piano – my music was wonderful. From a bookstore we had a look on the Alster – maybe we will come back some day – and walk around it. Great fish... and some meat. We talked a lot by candlelight. Later we went into a theater called Alma Hoppes Lustspielhaus. There was the stage. RikeH Posted Mar 7, 2010, 9:01 pm	Hello from Amrum, today we started our trip to Amrum Island – a nice German Island in the North Sea. We drove some hours – unfortunately the winter came back yesterday, but we arrived safe on the Coast – and saw our Ferry – called Schleswig-Holstein. Here you see me inside - with the typical greeting – Moin Moin. I went outside – the weather was sunny – but it was cold. We stopped at another Island, called Föhr. Some people left the Ferry, but we went on to Amrum. What a great trip. I will write more from Amrum soon.

RikeH Posted Mar 11, 2010, 3:15 pm	Moin Moin from Amrum, today we explored Norddorf, the village, where we live. First we saw this funny stone. The language is not German, but the language from Amrum. In this gate is written - better dead than slave. We say – better travelling than staying at home. One of the wonderful old houses here. We went into a nice café. I had a nice apple pie. And a hot chocolate with Grand Marnier. It was so yummy. On our way back we saw another great house.
RikeH Posted Mar 12, 2010, 9:49 pm	Moin Moin, we went to Nebel and visited the church. We went inside and spent some time there. We thought of a very good friend. Tobi, we miss you and we will never forget you. Outside are interesting tombstones. The life stories of the dead people are written on the stones. We read a few. Then we walked through the village – and saw some nice old red houses. There was a beautiful wind mill. We saw two old white houses – both colours are nice – and we loved the thatched roofs. Amrum is a beautiful Island.
RikeH Posted Mar 14, 2010, 9:39 am	Moin Moin, today we went to Norddorf and walk through the Dunes – there is a big lake. First we went along the Promenade and saw the Sea. Here you see the wooden Path we were walking on. This is the beautiful lake inside the Dunes. Look – there is still ice on it. It is a really cold winter – and now spring here in Germany. I hang around in the Dunes. It was great.

There are many lighthouses in this part of Germany. Two strange fishes. They are able to live outside the water. And here are two funny bunnies. RikeH Posted Mar 18, 2010, 11:11 am	Hello from Amrum, RikeH asked us, where we wanted to go today. So we took the map of Amrum Island and had a look. We decided to walk to the highest point of Amrum Here you see me on the highest Dune – it is 32 m high. This was the way we walked on. A nice view over the other Dunes. I saw Norddorf in the distance. RikeH gave me a coin – so I looked through this telescope. I saw the North Sea – amazing. On our way back we stopped in a nice cafe. I had a delicious hot chocolate with advocaat and a yummy tart of raspberries.
RikeH Posted Mar 18, 2010, 8:36 pm	Hello from the North Sea, we went to the beach. The beach is very long here on Amrum – and not too many people walk here. We had a nice view of the beach. I collected some mussels. They are so beautiful. We went near to the North Sea – I had to be careful because I didn't want to get wet feet. Look – sea-gulls are living here. Back home I tried something special for this region. It is called Küstennebel – and really delicious.

And this time it was sunny! There was a wooden way on this side of the lake. The lake looked nice from another point next to it. The path went through the Dunes – we had nice views from the highest point.

These are big red buoys here – they get a new color, I think. After it we went on a big playground. Here you see us together. I had so much fun! There were sheep next to the playground. Many sheep are living in this region of Germany.

But sometimes they went into this cage – and were caught by the people here – this is not fair... But nobody does it anymore today. We went to another nice place then - a small lighthouse. You can see it behind me – far away. We were in front of it, but RikeH forgot to take a photo of me. The lighthouse was so beautiful – I want to show it to you – so we show the photo of my friend Snuttig. We had great views over the Dunes! What a nice walk.

Wow – this was really steep! I sat in the sun on the Dunes… … and found this interesting sculpture. A last view of the beach – there were beach chairs now.

The weather was nice – many people were there. I saw many nice ducks. We took a beautiful group photo. This was on the other side of the Alster – a really great place! RikeH Posted Mar 29, 2010, 9:35 pm	Hummel Hummel, Because Snuttig wants to see the main attractions we went to Hamburg again. This is one of the most famous buildings in Hamburg, the church Michel. Near to it is a modern building. I saw this funny monument – it shows something from the Easter Islands. We took a photo of the Church Michel from the distance. Then we went to the Port of Hamburg. A really interesting place. We saw different kinds of ships. Another interesting monument. That was me in front of the old sailing ship Rickmer Rickmers. Later we went into a café. We saw a nice piece of cake. And a delicious cappuccino. I jumped out of the bag and enjoyed this meal! Back home there were two new ToyVoyagers. I gave a warm welcome to both of them. RikeH Posted Apr 4, 2010, 9:42 pm	Frohe Ostern, Today is Easter. A little Easter Bunny came to us. He told us that there are some nice things for us hidden in the room. Of course I started to search. First I looked under the arm chair, but I didn't see anything. I walked around – and look what I saw... A great success. Minutes later I jumped onto the table. There were beautiful flowers. But it was no time to admire the flowers. I had to search Eggs – and look – behind the flowers were more sweets. I went back to my place – I found so many sweets – wonderful. In the afternoon we had some delicious cakes – they were really big, but I ate one! Happy Easter! Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Apr 7, 2010, 9:10 pm	Hello again, we are full of Easter Chocolate! So we decided to take a walk in the morning. Here you see us having a rest. There were nice big trees here. I sat in the sun – although you cannot see it on the photo - and relaxed. We found a nice small river – lovely in both directions. In the afternoon we visited RikeH[/usr]'s Mum – and met the Easter Bunny. He was so nice! I found other funny bunnys. There was a hen and her children. We loved it there. Sülfeld has a wonderful old church. I love to show it to my friends! On the other side of the street is the pharmacie. On the way back we found another beautiful shrub. I loved the color! Back home we tookanother nice photo – I love flowers!

This ist the townhall with a wonderful fountain. This view is wonderful. There are nice old houses here. We saw the river again. It was a nice day!

Then we had a barbecue. It was really delicious – I ate a lot! Then it was time to say good-bye to Charlie. I hope that he will have a nice trip! We gave him a big hug.

We learnt a lot about the trees in the forest and other things. But I like most a nice place next to a lake. It was really a great time there.
RikeH Posted May 13, 2010, 8:51 pm	Hello from Hamburg, the weather looked sunny – so we jumped in RikeH's bag and went to Hamburg with her. Here you see us in the train. First I looked out of the window... ...then I helped to write some postcards. In Hamburg the weather wasn't so nice, but we went to the Town Hall. A wonderful building. We went to the other side of the Town Hall. On the way back to the place where RikeH works we saw these nice Arcades. In the evening we went to see a game of handball.This is outside of the hall. And here you see me inside. Our team won 31:19 – it was a great day and evening!

The yellow is beautiful. We went to the Lake – can you see the Monument? It is an Apache. Here is the Lake – and we have sunshine today! After the walk went to eat some icecream – it was delicious.
RikeH Posted May 20, 2010, 9:29 pm	Hello from Hamburg, we drove to Hamburg. We had the plan to visit the Cruiseship Terminal – a nice ship will be there. But first RikeH had to work and I explored the office. Funny guys are living here: And these Easter Bunnys. They were out of chocolate, and were not able to talk with me. The it was time to go to the Terminal. Look what happened – the ship was in the wrong direction for a nice photo. I would have loved to see the front. I've been here, when the QM2 was here – she was much bigger. But now here was only this small ship - so I looked over the Port. We walked over the ground there – two nice buildings. We managed to have another look at the ship – but it was not so easy - and I made a little nonsense, when RikeH tried to take a nice picture. We went to a playground and played on this great ship. After playing I was able to make some more sightseeing. There are nice new and modern buildings in this part of the Port. Here are new buildings and old ships – really interesting. They will build a big theatre for classical music. Here were some informations about it - and you see me here – listening to some music. We went back to work – to tell the truth, only RikeH worked – but on our way we saw these beautiful old buildings. Hamburg is a really wonderful city.
RikeH Posted May 26, 2010, 8:25 pm	Hello again from Hamburg, it is Saturday evening and we went to Hamburg again. RikeH told us that will go into the CCH – and see a funny man. Well – we were so excited. But before we went to an Australian Restaurant. I had a delicious cocktail – it was called Mai Tai – have you ever heard about it? It was so yummy... ...but very strong for a little Toyvoyager. We went into the theatre – and found out that we were not allowed to take photos. But one should be okay, before it started... I had so much fun and laughed a lot – and not only because of the Mai Tai. Back home we had a look in the web – and look – this was the funny man – called Jürgen von der Lippe. A nice evening. It is great to be a Toyvoyager.

To celebrate it we had a big barbecue. Look – so many different kinds of food. It was so delicious!!! After it we went into the garden and found so beautiful lilac. First the white one... then the purple one. After it we played a funny game – it is called Plumpsack – we had so much fun - you see me running aound the others – a great afternoon.

Fortunately we had great weather today – and went to Hamburg. We are a lot at the moment – here you can see us. I looked out of the train window – it is beautiful out there. Here you can see me in front of the famous church Michel in Hamburg. I know, you love this church. And there was this funny statue next to it. Later we went to the Port. There were a lot of ships. The white ship is the Cap San Diego – in the other direction you can see a big sailing ship – called Rickmer Rickmers. Two other nice views of the port – I really loved it. Home in Sülfeld it was time to say good-bye to some of our friends. They got a big hug!
RikeH Posted Jun 13, 2010, 9:43 pm	Hi Soccer-Fans, It is the World Championship in Soccer at the moment. This evening Germany plays versus Australia. As a German Bunny I really wanted to watch this game – so we all decided to watch it in the TV. Here you see us on our chair, before the games started. Nori wasn't very interested first and looked into the wrong direction... We went onto another chair – closer to the TV. It started really well for Germany – with a first goal. We all sat there, but Topple is so big that you maybe cannot see all of me. Topple arrived two days ago – a really friendly TV from Russia. But here I am alone. RikeH took the photo when it was time for the second goal for Germany Germany won 4 :0. So RikeH's boy-friend was very happy! We celebrated it back on our chair – and this time Nori celebrated it with us. Ole ole ole ola!!!!

The other TVs sang Happy Birthday for me – it was such a nice moment. Then I showed my present. Delicous sweets – really great. Of course I shared my sweets with the others and we talked a lot. I will celebrate my birthday this week-end – and tell you more about it then.
RikeH Posted Jun 20, 2010, 10:35 pm	Hi from Malchow, I had birthday this week. We decided to celebrate it – and made a nice trip this week-end. We drove to Malchow. The first place we visited was a nice big forest where a family of Barbary Apes are living. It was fun to watch them. This is the townhall of Malchow. I had a nice view over the Fleesensee. A really nice place.

Look – there is a nice little river in the garden – I put my feet into it. It was pretty cold. After playing in the garden, we all relaxed in this great chair – next to the Fleesensee.

Before we drove back to Sülfeld we decided to work on one of Captain Caramel's Life Missions and we made a nice trip with a boat. Here you see me on the boat. It was too cold outside, so we decided to go into the boat. It was nice to see the nature outside – and sit in the warm room. RikeH Posted Jun 26, 2010, 9:24 pm	Hello, yesterday I met a nice guy in the garden. He is called Bussi. We talked about Toyvoyagers and he wanted to become one. I invited him on a trip on the River Danube. He agreed and came with me. I introduced him to the others. Today we started our trip. We drove with a really fast train called ICE to Passau. Here you see us having lunch. This is inside the train – we drove really fast sometimes – about 200 km/h. I looked out of the window. It was really interesting. I won't be online for many days now. But don't worry, I am safe on the ship.
RikeH Posted Jul 16, 2010, 10:34 pm	Hello from Passau, we will start our trip in the afternoon – and decided to made a walk in Passau in the morning. It was really hot. There are three rivers in Passau – here is one of it. Here is the place where the rivers flow together. We enjoyed the view and relaxed in the sun. This it the way we will go in the afternoon. There was a photo of the place – I wanted to show you. Look at these wonderful flowers. There is a big castle in Passau. and a colorful town hall. It was so hot – I needed more water – fortunately there was a fountain. Later we went onto the ship – I will show photos of it later. But look what happened when RikeH opened the luggage. We found Topple and Captain Caramel. We were really happy that they come with us!!! (not sure about RikeH...) I will tell you more later.
RikeH Posted Jul 17, 2010, 2:23 pm	Hi from Vienna, great News – we went to the Zoo today. First we saw this beautiful buildung. There were really big hippos – lying lazy in the sun. RikeH forgot to take a photo of me – so I want to show a photo of my friend Bussi and the hippos. The rhino was really big, too. huh – really big birds – all animals are big in this Zoo. We saw an polar bear... and some swimming penguins. They came out of the water – so we made this photo with all of us. The last animal we saw was this one – a Panda!! He was so cute – but RikeH had problems to make a good photo of us together. After visiting the Zoo, we met a trip in a small train around the Castle Schönbrunn. Here is a view from far away. Here we stood next to it. We had so much fun together. We went back to our ship – there were two sister ships next to it. This is my Ship – the Arosa Mia!
RikeH Posted Jul 17, 2010, 4:32 pm	Hello from Vienna again, we made a sightseeing tour in Vienna today. I know most of it from the last year, but it was nice to see it again. This is the famous Stephansdom. The Vienna Opera. Two interesting museums – and a nice Statue between both of them – showing Maria-Theresia. Two other beautiful buildings – I was not able to remember all of the names. But we made nice photos. I know the names of this buildings – the Townhall and the Burgtheater. This is the Statue of a famous musician. He is called Richard Strauß, who wrote the song 'An der schönen blauen Donau'.
RikeH Posted Jul 18, 2010, 8:41 pm	Today we had to get up early – because we will arrive in Budapest- and this should be nice. You see me on the Ship. Here is one of the biggest buildings – the Parliament. The view to the other side. This was the Castle. A big place – for the heroes. I don't know for which heroes – maybe for the brave ToyVoyager-Heroes? Budapest is famous for his baths – this is one of it. We went onto a hill and had a great view over Budapest – what a beautiful city. We saw our ship from the hill – far away! Back home I relaxed in the sun. You can see the hill, where we took the last photos. And the last photo of the day shows the view out of our cabin – in the night – really great!
RikeH Posted Jul 18, 2010, 10:51 pm	Hello from Hungary, we took a trip called paprika and Wine today. We started with this beautiful old house. Inside were very colorful drawings on the walls. Here is the red paprika – a nice red – I liked it. One of the machines in the museum. We played together in the Paprika. Later we went to another village. There are houses like this full of Wine. In this barrels they have the Wine. We bought some wine and drank it at home. Prost

Inside it was really interesting! Later we went to Novi Sad – a nice little town with beautiful buildings. I loved this Square with many old buildings.

RikeH Posted Jul 25, 2010, 4:59 pm	Hello from Romania, we visited a very big house today – it is the Parliament now – and called the Palace of the Parliament. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the Palace is the world's largest civilian administrative building, most expensive administrative building, and heaviest building. And you can see me in front of it. We were not allowed to take photos inside, but here is a look, when we stand on the balcony. A very nice street with many fountains and flowers. Then we made a tour through the city. We had a great place – in the first row. And two big boxes with food, water and wine. Our last stop was next to this beautiful church.

The typical view from the boat: And then we did it – we sailed the Danube. Behind me, you can see the big 0 (really small on the photo). It is the kilometer 0 of the River Danube. We celebrated it with fish and a wodka! In the afternoon we made a walk through the village Vilkovo. There are nice Churches... ...and Momuments. The rock monastery “St Dimitrii of Basarbovo” is situated in the picturesque valley of the Rusenski Lom River amidst a number of rock cloisters. It lies about 10km away from the town of Rousse and carries the name of a near-by village. First a look out of the garden – and some nice flowers. More views of the Monastery. Then we went to Ivanovo. The village is famous for the Rock-hewn Church, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Inside there were wonderful paintings... and we had a nice view over the Valley.

I’ve been here some days ago, but wanted to have a little walk. First we went to the Fortress. Here you see a Miniatur of it. We had a great view from there. We had a rest in this wonderful place. RikeH Posted Aug 1, 2010, 1:01 pm	Hello from Slovakia, today we visited our last country in this holiday – there were a lot of it – did you count them? Well – it is Slovakia. We made a walk in Bratislava, a nice town with beautiful buildings. I have been here last year – and it was nice and very hot. This guy was really funny. But back to sightseeing. I loved this tower – it is so beautiful. Back on the ship it was time to say good-bye to our cabin. RikeH had to pack the bags, we ToyVoyagers sat together and talked and talked and talked – as always, when we sit together. I really loved this cruise! Back home a great surprise waited for me. My best friend Murph wrote me a postcard. He is on holiday and visits the sister of RikeH (my aunt Bine – and uncle Holgi) – and it seems to be a lot of fun. Thanks Murph. Greetings Dicker Kumpel

RikeH Posted Aug 1, 2010, 10:19 pm	Hi from a Campsite, Dörte – another TV invited us. We visited her on a Campsite and had a Barbecue. We looked around on the table and found Salad, too. Dörte worked hard. Hey – it looked yummy – and it was delicious. Really yummy – and we all ate too much. Later we took a walk – and had a look over the Campsite. We made a rest and were allowed to choose an ice-cream. I had this one – called Spaghetti Ice. It was a great day – we said goodbye to Dörte. At home we had to say goodbye to snakey, too. Snahey will go to Turkey now. We gave her a big hug. I talked with Snakey - we had such a nice time together, I will miss her. I hope that Snakey will have a great time in Turkey.
RikeH Posted Aug 8, 2010, 6:33 pm	Hello from Sülfeld, the weather was sunny today – so we made a walk around Sülfeld. We stopped at a nice little river. This is one direction... We stopped at another beautiful place. On the second photo you can see a little white mark – it was a stork. I loved this wonderful big tree behind me. If you read my travellog all the time – you will know it. Back home we went through the garden. Look, what the slugs did to this poor flower. Fortunately not all flowers were eaten by the slugs.
RikeH Posted Aug 12, 2010, 8:34 pm	Hello from Sülfeld, Nori and Captain Caramel will leave today and travel to their next hosts. Before they jumped into their envelopes, we talked a lot. We were really sad to go different ways now – we had so much fun together. I will miss both of them... Hm – what is this? I am alone on my armchair... I am really alone here.... I have never been alone since I am a ToyVoyager. I will look on the right side... … no one – maybe on the other side??? I miss my friends. But fortunately other bunnies are living here in the house – and they came to stay with me on the armchair until new guests will arrive. They are Kleinohrhase and Kleiner Kumpel. RikeH Posted Aug 16, 2010, 8:29 pm	Hi from Lübeck, Because I was so alone at home, RikeH invited me to drive to Lübeck with her. I met Dörte there. Then I had something delicious to drink – called KiBa. and I helped Grandma to eat Currywurst with Pommes. After it we made a walk through Lübeck. This is the house where the Buddenbrooks lived. A big church... ...and the Town Hall. Later we went to the Holsten Gate. It was on the German Bills some years ago. There was a Miniature of Lübeck. The Town Hall and other buildings from the other side. Lübeck is a nice city – now I will wait for new guests at home.

RikeH Posted Aug 21, 2010, 8:27 pm	Hello from Hamburg, today we went to Hamburg with RikeH. We saw two nice old buildings – called Sprinkenhof (RikeH worked there years ago) and the Chilehaus. Then we went into a restaurant - the Balutschistan. They serve food from Pakistan there. First I had a beer. then this delicious food. I ate so much! After it we went to visit another TV – called Dörte. We helped her to find a new host. She only travelled with her Mum until now – but now she will travel around, too. Then we had a look, how Dörte lives. A funny guy is standing here... …and some friendly pigs. She loves candles. In one corner there are many animals from Africa. Can you see me in the plant? At the end I met these funny and colorful guys...
RikeH Posted Aug 22, 2010, 10:22 pm	Hello from home, today we will celebrate the birthday of my Grandma – Hummel. Happy Birthday, dear Grandma. And the best thing was, that my best friend Murph came to celebrate it with us. I introduced him to Pippi and fai. Surprise – Murph gave me a present – although it is not my birthday. I opened it - a beautiful box.... … with sweets in it. Thanks a lot Murph! But then it was time to party – first we had delicious salads. Look – I ate all of this. After the lunch the postman came – he brought a little parcel – with Sweet Mimi[. A beautiful Bunny-Girl !!! I gave her a warm welcome. It is a pleasure to be the host for another bunny. I introduced her to the others. No time to talk – it is a party – time for the cakes. I chose this yummy cake. After this, we had to say good-bye to Murph – he will stay with RikeH's sister. We gave him a big hug. I went outside with him. He showed me his new car. The same color as Murph. This is cool. I was a little sad that he drove away – but he has so much fun with Bine and Holger. When they were away I looked around – and see, what happened. Many storks flew over our house – and landed on the houses of our neighbours. Can you see them? There were eight of them, RikeH told me that they strarted their trip to Africa. Tomorrow we will start a one-week-holiday. I will write soon. And Murph - if you read this - it was great to meet you!!!!
RikeH Posted Aug 24, 2010, 10:11 am	Hello from the Harz Mountains, Yesterday we went to a  Centre of Otter. Here you see all of us with a funny statue of two playing Otters. Later we saw real otters – in the lake behind me. Can you see them? Here they show how far the Otters could spring, if they would be as large as human. I am not sure how far I could spring, but I am a Bunny – and we can jump about 10 meters, I think. in the evening we arrived in Altenau – our place to stay for this week. It is in the Harz mountains in Germany. Today we explored the village – it was not so much to see, but here is the church. Inside the tourist information I talked with this Deer. Normally he lives outside, but today he had some questions about walks around the Village. There was a little River in the Centre. Later we went home and spent the rest of the day talking and having fun.
RikeH Posted Aug 25, 2010, 10:28 am	Hello from Goslar, We went to a city called Goslar today. It is situated in Lower Saxony and really old. The Old Town of Goslaris an UNESCO World Heritage Site. We started our tour in front of the Mediaeval Imperial Palace (Kaiserpfalz). In 1254 the Great Holy Cross was founded as an almshouse for the town’s needy. Now it is a museum. Then we went to the Marketplace. Behind me you can see the Town-Hall. From the Balcony ot the Town-Hall, we made this photo. It shows the Kaiserworth - The guildhall from the cloth merchants. This statue is so funny!!! I just wasn't able to decide what would be the better place! The last nice buildings are called the Broad Gate. Wonderful. It was a nice sunny day!
RikeH Posted Aug 26, 2010, 4:34 pm	Hello from Altenau, Rain - we sat here - and saw the rain. No problem for us - ToyVoyagers always are happy - and we decided to explore the flat. First we saw this butterfly. It was not so cold - otherwise we could have used this fireplace. We played two games. The first one was with many numbers. Then we played a bigger game - called 'Tore der Welt'. It is difficult, so Mimi and I played together - and Pippi and fai played together. The other two won, but we all had a lot of fun. In the evening it was time to party. When RikeH and Thomas were away, we found these two little bottles. Well, the bottles were full and the glasses empty - we should change this. After some hours - the glasses were empty - Mimi took a closer look. Nothing to see - maybe I will have more success? No - everything is empty... Bad luck for all of us. Oups - RikeH was coming back. She looked at us - and was not that amused. I had fun. But I am a little worried about RikeH words : We will see us tomorrow.... Hicks
RikeH Posted Aug 27, 2010, 10:43 pm	Hello from Altenau again, Ouch! My head!!! I had a headache. It was awful. RikeH helped all of us - and gave us cold towels for our heads. Later we had some coffee and some medicine. We decided to stay inside, relax on the couch and do nothing. But RikeH told us that fresh air is the best for us today. So we walked with her to the Village. We went into the spa gardens. Normally the music is playing here - not today. But this is okay - loud sounds are awful for my head today. These guys are funny - and quiet. This was enough for today. I wanted to go home - no loud conversations today. There must have been something wrong with the drinks yesterday.
RikeH Posted Aug 28, 2010, 7:48 pm	Hello from the Harz again! Another nice day in Altenau. RikeH wanted to visit the Kräuterpark yesterday, but we ToyVoyagers wanted to go home. So we went in the park today. It is the biggest park of spices of the World. Wow! Here you see me in front of a lot of spices. There was a beautiful building. In the building we learnt a lot about spices. Later we had a rest - and talked a lot. At the end there was a wonderful small waterfall. It was a really interesting day!
RikeH Posted Aug 30, 2010, 8:57 pm	Hello from Bad Harzburg, we drove to a nice little town today - Bad Harzburg. The first interesting things we saw were these two horsemen. There are beautiful old buildings. In the middle of the city we found this fountain of youth.There are funny people on it. Next to the fountain we met this friendly bunny - and talked to him. Look - what a beautiful hat! There was a nice lady on a Donkey on the other side of Bad Harzburg. On our way back we stopped in Torfhaus. In the background you see the Brocken - the highest point of the Harz with 1141 m. There was a big monument in Torfhaus. There is a sentence written in 20 languages. Can you read some of it? We are ready to walk onto the Brocken... But this friendly wolf told us that the weather will be rainy - so we decided to drive home. Tomorrow is the last day of our holiday. I would love to stay here for many more weeks.
RikeH Posted Sep 1, 2010, 8:41 pm	Hello from Uelzen, It was our last holiday-day and it was time to drive home to Sülfeld. When we looked out of the window we saw some deers - this was funny. We stopped in Uelzen - it is famous for its station. The original station was renovated for Expo 2000 following plans by the Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser.I really liked it. Inside the station : The station platforms are nice, too. Back home in Sülfeld there was a new guest - Peachy Chai. I gave him a warm welcome! Then I introduced him to the others - and we talked a lot! Love Dicker Kumpel

This is the church near to the city centre. There are many nice old houses. And I really loved this view. Normally the water wheel normally moves - but not today.

This beech marten looked so nice, but RikeH's Mum told me that they sometimes live in the houses of the humans, and the humans don't really like it. The wild boars were really funny. I saw a wonderful roe. Maybe you cannot see them so well, but there were many storks. Can you see, who is this? Yes it was a badger, but a really tired badger. I talked with this friendly sheep. She told me that some relatives of me are living here. So I went to visit them. After the long walk we all relaxed on this monument. Back home I found this wonderful card - made by olgamaus - with so many nice photos of ToyVoyagers - and I know many of them.
RikeH Posted Sep 12, 2010, 9:18 pm	Hi from Hamburg, Bernd the Bread arrived this week. Of course, I gave him a warm welcome. Then I introduced him to the others - and we talked a lot. Today I drove with him to Hamburg. We arrived there and took the first photo in front of this great house - called the Fischauktionshalle. Then we went along the River Elbe. Can you see the submarine behind me? They repair a big cruise ship - called Europa. I would love to travel on it. A warship from Brazil visited the Port. I don't know, why there were sea gulls here - we are not next to the sea. Many people drove on these nice ships. The port was full of tourists, so we decided to drive home. Maybe we will come back another day. Although the photos look like it was a dark Autumn Day, we had a lot of sun - and temperatures like in summer.

First I went to the nice old Church, but I only took photos of the others, because I have around 30 photos of me in front of the Church. Then I showed them, where the mayor works. I loved this old door. Later we went to a nice little lake. And we enjoyed the sun. I am a little sad today - it is the birthday of my good friend Tobi, who died this year. we really miss him!

This is the town's landmark - a church. And this is the view back to the city. The townhall... ... and another view of the church. Back to the hotel - we went through the garden of the hotel. You can see the hotel in the background. There is a nice small Pavillon in the garden. This is the view of the garden from our balcony. Really nice! RikeH Posted Sep 23, 2010, 8:22 pm	Ahoi from the MS Stadt Malchow, We made a trip on a boat to another town, called Waren. Our trip lasted two hours. This is the Müritz - the biggest Lake of Germany, that only belongs to Germany. Far away you can see Waren. I talked with this friendly wooden guy. This is a photo of our boat. Views from the biggest place in Waren. A really wonderful church. The inner Harbour. We started with a wooden guy - at the end of our trip we met this colorful man - he told me great stories. When we waited for the boat back to Malchow - many nice small birds were around. What a wonderful day! Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Sep 26, 2010, 5:25 pm	Hello from Wismar, Today we went back home and stopped in a town called Wismar. This is the centre of  the old town is the huge Market Place, the largest in Germany (10,000 square metres).  The square's focal point is the Wasserkunst, an elaborate wrought-iron fountain imported from Holland in 1602. The northern side of the square is occupied by the Town Hall, built in neoclassical style in 1817–1819. Another notable building in the square is an ancient Gothic warehouse called Alter Schwede (The Old Swede), erected around 1380. The 80 m high tower church of St Mary (Marienkirche) is the only remainder of the original Brick Gothic edifice, built in the first half of the 13th century. It suffered heavy damage in World War II, and was deliberately destroyed in 1960 under the East German Communist government. Then we went to the old port. In the background you can see the Water Gate. And here is a view of the harbour. I walked over a bridge with 4 pigs on it - I loved this funny one most. Bernd the Bread is really famous in Germany. He is a TV-Star. Back home we saw one of his shows in the TV. I am proud to be his friend. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Sep 29, 2010, 9:13 pm	Hi from Hamburg, a few days ago Timothy III. arrived. I gave him a warm welcome... and introduced him to the others. Today we went to Hamburg. I wanted to show the new guest an interesting house - here it is - the Levantehaus. A nice entrance. Just better - some wild animals. But look there it is - a wonderful Rhino. Just like Timothy. Really inside the house. Next to him, there are other strange animals. A nice window in the top of the house. We went upstairs to get closer to the Rhino and we talked a lot. This was really great. Later we went back home - in the station we saw a lot of trains - this is the fastest in Germany called ICE train. This was our train - not so fast. We went upstairs to have a better look. The train was very modern. I watched out of the window - it was dark outside. Bye bye dear train!

The trees start to change their colors. This is the way I walked along. I love this big tree! Another nice view on my way. I spent some times talking with these cows. Later we walked over a bridge. I looked into this direction... then into the other. Grass, trees and the ceiling. As you know I love flowers - I found these daisies. Back home I sat a moment in the garden - and enjoyed the sun.

We went into the city park. There were nice flowers. There is a big lake in the Park, but it was too cold to swim in it. Look - the tree has a wonderful color. This is a really big lawn, many people were there - played games and flew kites. The last thing we saw was the Planetarium - a really nice building.
RikeH Posted Oct 17, 2010, 11:39 pm	Hello again, today we went to Bad Segeberg, a nice little town near to Sülfeld. We started in front of this nice old building. This is a really funny fountain with a man on it. But the sun was in the wrong direction, so you cannot see it that good. Fortunately we were able to see it. Next to it there were beautiful flowers - I had to sit next to the flowers! Another beautiful old building. and the church. Then we walked up a hill and had a great view of the theatre where they play stories of Karl May in the summer. Some minutes later I had this view over the city and the big lake of Segeberg. Here you can see all of us. On the way back to our car we stopped at a small lake and met some ducks.
RikeH Posted Oct 25, 2010, 9:02 pm	Hello friends of chocolate, I had a big surprise for Timothy. Look! Yes, we had a chocolate fondue. First we heat the cream. Then I put the chocolate into it. Ready to start! The first one was a grape. Then a piece of banana. So many fruits - chocolate fondue seems to be very healthy. Well, I am ready. But it was so yummy. It was one life mission of Timothy - great to help!

Then we went outside to make a walk. Here you see us... ...on a big tractor. Look - a beautiful plant and a lady beetle. The autumn starts - the trees change their colors. First I saw this little river... ...later a little lake. We passed a dangerous place - it is the house of the shooting club.
RikeH Posted Oct 31, 2010, 11:01 pm	Hello friends of Halloween, It is me - Dicker Kumpel. Are you surprised to see me like that? It is Halloween!!! We all wanted to go as ghosts - but to tell the truth, RikeH is not really good in creating costumes, although she spent hours on it. Well now I look like something between a ghost and a mummy, but I am sure, we will have fun this day. Well, we went outside and stopped at the first house we found. It seems to be winter? A funny snowman. Can you see me in my costume? The door opened and we sang a song - and recited a poem. Good luck for us - we got sweets. Well - it was a rainy day - so we decided to go back onto our armchair. We put away our costumes - well - not everybody did it. Maybe a real ghost - we all were very curious. Fortunately not - it was a new ToyVoyager here - called Hoots. We were very surprised, because we didn't know that he would come. He was invited more than 6 weeks ago... Of course I gave him a warm welcome. RikeH told us that we should eat something normal, before eating all the candys, so we had some burgers. I shared mine with Timothy. It was yummy. We will spend the rest of the day looking out of the window - and watching the ghosts outside.

RikeH Posted Nov 13, 2010, 6:40 pm	Hello from Frankfurt, before we fly to Vietnam, we had a stop in Frankfurt. Here you see me in front of the main station. This was the view into another direction. On our way to the Römer Place - we found this great Euro-Sign. Then we arrived at the Römer Place - there are nice old building. Now we are back in the hotel and relax - tomorrow we will have a long flight to Hanoi. Love Dicker Kumpel

RikeH Posted Nov 15, 2010, 11:06 am	Hello from Vietnam, After a really long flight we arrived in Hanoi. We got our Visas and went to the hotel to relax. Later in the afternoon we made a walk. Look, this is our Hotel. There are many motor scooter and motorbikes on the streets. Back in the Hotel we had a delicious cocktail. In our room we have a fruit basket. But I don't know all the fruits. Maybe someone can help me? Before we went into the bed it was time to go into the bathroom. So many nice things for me - I will be a very clean ToyVoyager! RikeH Posted Nov 16, 2010, 9:07 am	Hello friends of Asia, today we made some sightseeing. We started with a very important place for the people of Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. We were not allowed to take pictures inside, but from the outside. After it we walked around the area - this ist the Presidental Palace. Here you see the House on stilts, where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 to 1969. Then we went to two more religious places. First to the One Pillar Pagoda. Then to the Temple of Literature - a Temple of Confucius. And it was Vietnam's first University, too. One of the places there. This is a Statue of Confucius. This statue shows the king, who founded the Temple. Back in the hotel we had a delicious cake - and I drank a Hot Chocolate. What a great day! Bye Dicker Kumpel

I took the thinks out of it. Well - not so exciting. A last view - no party out here... ...so I will take a nap. In the morning we had to get up really early - and I looked out of the window. RikeH Posted Nov 18, 2010, 3:24 am	Hello from Sapa, today in Sapa we made a long walk. This is a ricefield - but the harvest already was over. This was our way - we went this one down. We went into the house of one family living here - the house was not big - and there are 21 people living in it. Later we saw this nice waterfall. Look - what a hard way back to the car for a small ToyVoyager like me. I wanted to show you our room for this night. Do you know, what this should be? This is the view into the garden. I found wonderful flowers. We wanted to start a second walk onto a hill in the afternoon, but it was too foggy - so we stayed at home... ... and had a nice time in front of the fireplace. RikeH Posted Nov 19, 2010, 5:04 am	Hello from Sapa, today we made another walk in the surrounding of Sapa.We visited two villages of two tribes - the Black H'mong and the Dzay People. We were really interested in seeing the rice terraced fields. We made the first photo as soon as we saw the fields, because it was very misty here. Some minutes later we saw some more houses. It was exciting - can you see the buffalos in the fields - they were on they ways, too, and they are really big. We were a little afraid of them. This was inside the village. We didn't want to make close photos of the people here - but this is a photo of the children in the school - having a sports lesson. In the evening we jumped into the train back to Hanoi and had a delicious dinner in the train. Love Dicker Kumpel

I loved this yellow building. It was built in the same year as someone I know was born... Hello Kalli! I learnt some strange signs. It is still a temple today. RikeH Posted Nov 20, 2010, 3:04 pm	Hello from a river, it was time for a boat-trip today. We went to Tam Coc wharf, got on the boat and enjoyed the nice riding along the river through 3 tunnel caves. This was inside one of the caves. It was dark inside, but of course I wasn't afraid. There were people working on the river. I loved the beautiful stones. We had a lot of fun. Me in another cave. And there were these nice trees next to the river. Just like the one yesterday in Hanoi. When we were back - I saw a buffalo again, I really like them. I love to travel and always want to be a good host. But I saw horrible things, when I watched out of the window, I saw other animals travelling here - and I am sure that they don't have so much fun as we have. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 24, 2010, 1:32 pm	Hello from Halong Bay, It is my 200th update - I am very proud ! Well, today we started on another boat - much bigger than the one from yesterday. I will show you the photo later. This was the view from the boat. There are many - around 2000 - hills in the sea - now little islands. The weather was nicer than it looks like on the photos. I really loved the view. When we went nearer to the islands, we could see that there are green trees on the islands. We made a stop at the Titop Island. It has his name by a Russian called Titov. We climbed up the hill and had this nice view.  You can see our boat behind me - it is the second one from the right with one sail. we went back and sat down on the beach. I saw the boat from here, too. Only sitting on the beach was boring - so Huhn and I decided to make something exciting. Look: This was fun! Back on the boat - here is a view of our cabin. I looked out of the window and saw another boat. And a nearby island. Later we went onto the boat deck - and I found a place next to the flag of Vietnam. One hour later we visited Cua Van - the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. There are about 130 floating houses and about 600 people live and work in the village. Look - a fishing boat. In the evening we spent some days on the deck drinking Cocktails - what a great day! Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 24, 2010, 2:04 pm	Hello from the Halong Bay again, another great day on the boat. This was the nice view I had in the morning. Here are the sails on our boat. We were on the way to a surprise cave. You can see the entrance behind me. We went to the island with a small boat and had a great view to our boat and a sister boat. We crossed another floating fishing village - but smaller than the one yesterday. Here are some views from the cave. It was so wonderful! From the exit of the cave we saw islands and boats! I loved this place! We went back to our boat. We relaxed in the cabin... ...and said goodbye to the Halong Bay. Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 25, 2010, 10:18 am	Hello from Hue, I am in the Middle of Vietnam now. The town is called Hue and it is an ancient Capital city of many original historical vestiges. First we vistited the Citadel. Here I am in front of the Main Gate. After it we passed this nice gate. RikeH and Thomas learnt a lot about the history - I prefered playing in this small tree. The next photos were taken inside the Forbidden Purple City.The royal family lived here -  and this was the theatre. Here you see me in front of the old library. We visited nice other places - and this colorful gate. Behind me is the Temple for the King who lived here. There are funny dragons like this one everywhere - they stand for power. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 25, 2010, 10:42 am	Hello from Hue again, today we will go by boat on the Parfume River. We went on a boat like this on the photo. This was one view over the River. This is the Thien Mu Pagoda (also known as The Heavenly Lady pagoda). Here is a wonderful gate - with funny Statues in it. Can you see them? Later we saw the Pagoda from another side. This is the Happy Buddha. I likes his smile. Another guard - I loved his face. Then we went to another place - Tu Duc King's Tomb. A big place - not only with his tomb - it was built many years before he died - and he loved to stay here - writing poems. This big building was in front of his tomb. There were Statues on the way. Guardians, a horse and an elephant. Later we went to the Temple for the King. There were many more buildings - but many were destroyed - as you can see here. yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 25, 2010, 2:23 pm	Hello from the Hotel, we have a lazy day in the nice hotel today. In the morning we played in the beautiful room. First we jumped on the couch. Then we went out onto the balcony. I shared the rocking chair with Huhn. Then we all took a nap. For lunch I had delicious fruits - given by this nice lady. In the afternoon we went into the garden. I climbed up a palm tree. Then I went to the pool. This was the second pool here. Nice, too. We relaxed next to the big pool - and talked a lot about our adventures here in Vietman for a while. Then I went back to the room. Here is another view of the pool. This is the house where we have our breakfast each morning. I found this nice green plant. Oups... It hurts!!! RikeH brought me back to the room soon - and helped me. Because I was so brave - I got some sweets. Now I am happy again. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 27, 2010, 1:55 pm	Hello Friends, we will travel from Hue to Hoi An today. This will be a long way by car, but we hope to see interestings things on the way. We stopped at a beach - but I didn't really like it. We drove over some mountains and stopped on one pass and had nice views. This was the direction to Danang. There was a Gate on the Pass. A bunker out of the time of war here. The view into the other direction. Here I am in front of the big gate. Just another view - I loved the pass. Then we went to Danang and visited the Cham Museum. Isn't this elephant funny? Other tings in the museum. A Lady Buddha. Or is this the Lady Buddha? I cannot remember... Before we left the Museum we found these nice flowers. The last thing we visited were the Marble Mountains. We had to went up the hill - many steep steps. But it was worth it. A nice pagpda. Another part of the Pagoda. The view from the hill - very nice! But the best thing was this big big white Statue. She was wonderful! What a great trip! Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 28, 2010, 2:52 pm	Hello from Hoi An, today it is time to see the ancient city of Hoi An. We started with the Chinese Assembly Halls. Chinese people met there to make important decisions - and there is a Temple inside, too. This is the Gate. In front of the Temple we found this dragon. See the red thing - it is a big incense stick - it lasts 2-3 months! People write cards with their wishes and put them into it. Look - the chinese Wall - but it is only a small one. We walked along the river and saw a nice colorful dragon on it. We love to go by boat - so we were on a boat again. This is a normal ferry here - many people sit and stand on it. We had our own boat. These are boats of the fishermen - the boats have eyes - this was funny. Back home in the hotel I had a delicious Hoi An Pancake. Tomorrow I will go to a cooking class - and cook it by myself. RikeH Posted Nov 29, 2010, 3:21 am	Hello from Hoi An again, it is time for the cooking class today. But first I will show you the hotel, we live at the moment. I hope it is not too boring, but I like the different kinds of the rooms. Here I am on the bed with my friends. This is the place for sitting, talking and having tea. I relaxed on the terrace... with a nice view over the river. We went over the market to buy some food for the cooking class. Here are many fruits. The women have funny hats. I would love to have the carrots! The lesson started. The Chief cooked in front of us - and there were a mirror, so that all people and ToyVoyager could see, what she is doing. This were Fresh Rice Paper Rolls of Shrimps. Really delicious. Here you see, where we cooked our meals. We had so much fun! Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 30, 2010, 12:08 pm	Hello from Saigon, this time we decided to travel from Hoi An to Saigon by plane. It was a really new one.   I was happy, because I had a seat at the window. When we arrived in Saigon we did some sightseeing and started with the Reunification-Palace. We were able to see some rooms.This was a big meeting-room. This was a smaller living-room. They had a garden - on the second floor - this was strange. And this helicopter. Maybe I will have my own helicopter later, too? Later we visited this church - called Notre Dame - it was built by the French - only with things from France. When we arrvied at our hotel room - I was very surprised. We have a great view over the city. Especially when it went dark. And we have our own garden - in the 7th floor - much better than in the palace... Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 2, 2010, 3:25 pm	Hello from the Cu Chi Tunnels, we started the day driving to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Vietnamese People built these tunnels during the Vietnam War many years ago. First we learnt a lot about the tunnels - and where they were. This is one entrance to the tunnels - very small - even for a ToyVoyager. They built strange traps. I don't like wars! These are some of the Vietnamese People, who were in the War. Then a funny thing happened. We went under the ground and tried one tunnel. It was smaller in the past - and very dark - you cannot see it because of the flash. After this experience we ate something delicious. It is a root, that the People ate at that time - I liked it. Here you can see us with the buttons, every visitor got. We continued our trip and went to church of a sect, called Cao Dai. The religion is a mix of Buddhist, Taoist, Confucianism and Chistianity. We went inside... Later we joined the daily noontide ceremony. Back out in the nature I enjoyed the sun in this nice plant. The People here are crazy when they drive on the streets, I tried to take some photos, but they don't show the reality. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 4, 2010, 2:40 pm	Hi friends, Imagine that - I am on a river again. This time it is a really big one - called Mekong. We started in a small city - with a nice church. There were many boats here. We went into a house where they make caramel candys. This is Snake-Wine. Strange, isn't it? Well there was more to see - we went faster. The Mekong-River is really wide! On the other side we went on a canal in an Island. I loved the Palm Trees. Then we changed the boat and went on a row boat. This was nice and quiet. Later it was time for lunch. We had this Elephant Ear Fish - it was yummy! In the afternoon we relaxed in our hotel. There were nice flowers in the garden. Can you see me? Can you see the animal there? It is a Gecko - many of them are living in this part of Vietnam. We found this wonderful fruit basket in our room. I ate one small banana. Due to some problems we had to change the room  - and found ourselves in a Suite - it was fantastic and had two rooms and a big bathroom. Enough place for all of us! We had a really good night! RikeH Posted Dec 5, 2010, 10:28 am	Hello from Cai Rang,  we started early today - it was time to visit the Cai Rang floating market. It is the biggest market here. Of course we took a boat to go there. People live in houses like this here. I am really happy to live in Germany! They build a new bridge here. Here we are on the market - it was so interesting! On the way back to the hotel we stopped in a factory - where they dry rice. Then we visited a family, they make rice noodles here. This was our boat! This woman came back from the market - her boat full with fruits and vegetables. This is our new hotel in Saigon - very high. In the afternoon we made a walk to the Saigon River. This is the highest building here in Saigon. With a place for helicopters to land on. Another view of the hotel - with the opera in front of it. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 8, 2010, 2:03 am	Hello from a National Park  It was time to go into the Wilderness. So we jumped into the car and went to the National Park Nam Cat Tien. There are many wild animals - including crocodiles. Help - there are three around me! Just kidding ...  these were sweets - but you didn't really recognize it at the beginning, I am sure. Well - we arrived in the Park- and had to go there by boat. In the afternoon we started a long walk through the Jungle. There were really big trees. This was our way. Another nice view. Look, what RikeH had to wear - these are a kind of big socks out of a thick material, they were covored with some liquids, because there are leeches living in the forest - and they wanted to jump onto the human legs and taste their blood. We didn't wear it, because RikeH was so nice to carry us all the way. We had to sleep the night under this mosquito-net. We get up early the second day - and I wanted to show our house. There was a tree with funny fruits next to it. In the way back to Saigon we saw this : People are drying their corns and rice on the street - really strange, isn't it? Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 8, 2010, 2:15 am	Hello from Saigon, We had a day without a guide in Saigon today. But we are in Vietnam for 3 weeks now, so we can do some sightseeing on our own. We started in the postoffice to buy the last stamps for postcards. The building is really wonderful inside. This is the church Notre Dame - I already saw it some days ago. Then we went into the botanical garden to see some nice flowers. But it was more a Zoo than a garden, so we met some not travelling animals. I liked this hippo. I told him a really funny joke and he laughed a lot. This was a clock out of plants. We met a white tiger - and were so near to him. Enough adventure for this afternoon - I relaxed in a beautiful tree. Back in the hotel we did some sightseeing out of our window. This is the opera. The building with the green on the roof is the town hall. And we saw the Saigon River in the other direction. In the evening we went outside to take some more photos. Our hotel behind the opera. They decorated the hotel for the Christmas Season. Really colorful. I went into the Bar with Rike and Thomas to celebrate the last evening in Vietnam. Tomorrow we will go to Cambodia. RikeH Posted Dec 8, 2010, 1:53 pm	Hello from Cambodia, we arrived here - with a delay, because they had to change a tyre of our plane - but it was still enough time to visit one Temple - called Angkor Thom. Here you see me on the bridge to it.   There were nice statues on it. We saw these wonderful dancers. There were long walls  - with so many people on it, carved into the stone. I loved this place. Isn't it wonderful - there are faces on the towers. Can you see me under the nice face? A view back - it was great! Then we went to the street of elephants. Another nice women - next to the elephants. I hope that you are not bored about the hotels - but I must show you this one. Look - we had fruits, flowers and a bottle of wine for our welcome. Cambodia is great - and the Victoria Hotel, too. I will sleep here at night. and stay here during the day - when we are not visiting the Temples. In the left you can see the place, where I wrote theses updates. And I should not forget to say - it is Nikolaus-Day today - and we got sweets of my Grandma - thanks a lot! Greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 10, 2010, 2:58 pm	Hello from Cambodia, today there were some more Temples to visit. We started with the biggest here in Angkor - it is called Angkor Wat. Maybe you already heart of it? Well, here I am in front of it! On the walls are a lot of stories - and I learnt a lot about the old history. This was very steep... ...but it was worth the way! I visited a tired Buddha. This lady was so beautiful. And this statue has many more than one head! A view back - it was great! Just another Statue on our way to the car. She had a lot of arms. Now we were really far away - the place was nice! But there were another nice Temple for this morning. It is called Ta Prohm. It is well-known for the big trees! Really strange - they live on the old building. Here you can see the big roots! It was a great morning - and we went back to the hotel to relax! In the afternoon we had some more miles to drive - the next Temple was Banteay Samre. The carvings here were wonderful - and the stone had another color! Funny and strange creatures were the guardians. I relaxed in the sun - and other tourists were laughing aboutt RikeH - can you understand this? Well - it was a nice place, too. RikeH Posted Dec 10, 2010, 3:18 pm	Hello from Cambodia again, Today we drove to a big lake. And I wanted to show you, how the peple here live in the villages. Well - it is not easy to make photos out of a driving car...there are palm trees here.   I want to have a photo with a house... ...there are too many trees here. This is better - with two cows. But this is the best - they live in stilt-houses like this. There are rice-fields around the streets. And gates - on the streets to Temples. But it was time to be on a ship again! We visited a floating village here in Cambodia. The Temple here is not a floating building. But all the other houses, where the people are living. Birds like this place, too. On the way back we saw this water-buffalo. A really big animal. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 11, 2010, 9:54 am	Hello Friends, I am in the Capital City of Cambodia, called Phnom Penh. We started the day - visiting the Royal Palace. The first interesting thing was this Banana plant - with so many small bananas. But then we saw the beautiful buildings. This friendly snake with so many heads was in front of one building. This golden product belongs to the king, but I don't know, why. These buildings are called stupa - the ashes of dead people are in the stupas. The garden around was so wonderful with many nice plants. I found a nice little lake - just right for a little rest. Look - these flowers belong to a tree - they only blow one day in the morning, after it they die off. Later that day we visited the national museum. The building was very nice. There was a big elephant! And a smaller one! A big hug Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 19, 2010, 8:49 pm	Hello Friends,    Another sunny and hot day in Cambodia. It was really hot - around 34 degree Celsius, but Rike and Thomas decided to visit a place called Wat Phnom. We went along the river. We passed another nice Temple. People work on their small boats on the river. This is the Place Wat Phnom. The city started here many many years ago, when a woman met a Buddha at this place. A nice way to the Top. I talked with this nice guy. We went inside the Temple. Another nice view. This is the lady with the Buddha. Back home the others watched TV.It was a very big TV.            We had some fun! But I told them that it would be better to go outside. We had our own pool. It was great to sit next to it. I had a good view from this Flower. Look - there were wonderful green trees here. We finished the day - and our holiday - sitting in the garden and talking a lot. I really loved this holiday. Tomorrow we will fly back to snowy Germany. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 23, 2010, 7:09 pm	Hello from cold Germany, imagine that - it is winter in Germany - really cold. We didn't want to make a walk with RikeH, because we are used to high temperatures. But today RikeH told us that it was time to go out. Well - look - how it looked like in Sülfeld. Very snowy. We made a break... ...but it was very cold - we sat in the snow. The animals are safe in this place - this is nice. So many snow - where is the sun? These funny guys stood in front of our house. And I found this nice plant in the garden - I love the red fruit on it. At home we sat in front of the candles - it was so nice - and much warmer than outside. Christmas will come soon - and we will have a tree inside the house again - this is strange. I will write more soon.
RikeH Posted Dec 25, 2010, 11:33 pm	Merry Christmas, today is the great day - when children and ToyVoyager get their gifts in Germany. So we were very excited. First I played in the Advent wreath. Look, this is the Christmas Tree of my Grandma. And we ate this delicious muffins. Later it was time to meet Santa Claus! But we learnt that he was very busy - and sent us a really good friend. Rudi, the red-nosed reindeer. We sang some nice Christmas songs for him. It was a success - and we got our presents! I got wonderful things. We had such a great time! I hope that you all had a great Christmas, too.
RikeH Posted Dec 31, 2010, 3:29 pm	Hi friends, some nice news - Murph came to visit us on the 26th of December - and his guests Frankie and Hoots arrived too, they will stay here for some more days with us. They brought some gifts for us - what a surprise. We played in the Christmas Tree. Can you see me? We talked a lot - then Murph told us that he will leave us, to spend some more time with Bine and Holgi. We gave him a big hug. Today we heart someone knocking at the door. It is Archer. He came all the way from Shanghai and starts his life as a ToyVoyager here in Germany. Of course I gave him a warm welcome. He helped me to complete one of my life missions - he is the 5th bunny visiting me. Then I introduced him to the others. We told him a lot about our adventures. I wish all of you a good start in the Year 2011.

The weather was not so nice - it was getting warmer - and most of the snow is away now. There is a small river in the city. This was the view into the other direction. There were nice old buildings. And an interesting monument. The last things we saw were a nice fountain and the town hall.

He arrived just in the right time, because we will make a nice trip this weekend. We visited a nice town called Nienburg. This is the townhall. </div> There was a funny fountain. With aspargus. Can you see me? It was time to eat something delicious. But no aspargus. Then we continued our walk. What a nice tower. And a big church. How beautiful. I loved this statue in front of the church. The last building was a museum. We didn't went into it, because the weather was so great. Then we jumped into the car. Tomorrow we will see something great - RikeH told us, but we didn't know what.
RikeH Posted Feb 6, 2011, 7:58 pm	Hi friends, We went to a Darts Tournament in Halle. Many great players were there. Here you can see Phil Taylor - the best of all, I think. I've been here two years ago - and he won. </div> <div id="cc-m-13152642827" class="j-module n j-text "> Here were some of the other players - it was great to stay near to the players. So many people were here - but only two bunnies. It was so interesting. We had such a great day. Maybe I will become a Darts-Player.
RikeH Posted Feb 13, 2011, 5:23 pm	Hi friends, it was time to show Bobi and Archer another nice city -so we visited a Hanseatic city today - called Lübeck. It is a very nice city - and the City Centre is a Unesco Place. We started with the Holstentor. It is very famous in Germany - it was on one bill for many years here. Now you see it from the other side. There were nice buildings next to the river. And old storehouses. Then we went to the place next to the townhall. There was a skating rink. We wanted to try it - what they hadn't small shoes for us. So we continued our walk. The last photo shows the other side of the townhall - a very beautiful house.
RikeH Posted Feb 27, 2011, 7:26 pm	Hello from cold Germany, Yesterday we went to Hamburg. Here you see me in front of the planetarium. </div> We saw a great movie about the stars, then we made a walk through the park. There was a big lake - with a little ice on it. Nice trees were next to the lake. Fortunately no one was in danger in the lake, so we made this photo. Later we went into the city center. Here you see the townhall. Near to it there is the Lake Alster - with nice buildings around. I loved the view - and the clouds were so beautiful. Archer left today. I said goodbye to him. We became good friends. Bobi and I gave him a big hug.

Then I introduced him to Bobi - and he showed us his postcard. We talked a lot. Then it was time for Bobi to went to his next host - he will go to Japan. I've never been there - and no plans for RikeH and me to travel to Japan at the moment.... So I said goodbye to Bobi - we had a lot of fun together. RikeH Posted Mar 12, 2011, 7:43 pm	Hi from Zingst, today we drove some hours with the car - then we arrived at the Seaside. We have a wonderful holiday house - I will show it later this week, I think. But the weather was so nice - and we made a first walk through the village called Zingst. Here you can see me on the Pier. This is the long way we walked on the Pier. I saw the beach from here - really nice. Then we walked on the Pier back to the beach. What a long Pier! I sat in front of a small Dune - hopefully we will find bigger ones in the next days. Back home we found a cosy place... Can you see us? We loved to sit in front of the fireplace and talked a lot. RikeH Posted Mar 15, 2011, 6:13 pm	Hi from Zingst again, today we made another walk in Zingst. This time on the other side of the Village -  there is another Water - called Bodden. It was very windy. There is a lot of water everywhere. The trees are really lopsided, probably it is often very windy here. This is the way we walked. On the top of a dike. Then we went to the Harbour. There were only two ships - and I thought this one would be better in America... On our way back we saw this wonderful house. Many greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Mar 16, 2011, 4:33 pm	Hello friends, we walked along the beach today. Here you can see me in the Dunes. This is the way to the beach - there were really high waves. I though about taking a bath - but the temperatures were very low... We made a rest in this little boat. It was so windy - and Inuk felt down - but fortunately he can fly - so don't worry - nothing bad happened. We found another boat - with nice red flags in it. We stopped at this little bistro and took a photo - it is really funny, because Zuckerhut is the name of the street where RikeH and I are living. Then it was time for entertainment. I took a ride on this carrousel. It was so funny! This is the house of the tourist information. Another nice building. On our way back home we stopped at a restaurant and RikeH bought us delicious ice-cream. This was yummy! Back home we sat some minutes outside in the sunshine. But although the sun was shining - it was cold - so we went inside and had a nice evening. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Mar 17, 2011, 12:47 pm	Hello, we decided to have a lazy day at home today. Most of the time we relaxed on the couch, but in the afternoon we played a nice game. First I had to throw the dices. Then Inuk wrote it on the paper - we had to built streets and villages. Surely I won! After it we had a delicious meal. Not only bread... ...there was hot cheese, too. I put the bread on my fork and then I put the bread into the cheese, It was yummy - and I had a glass of wine with it. Sadly we finished it really fast. No bread anymore. And no cheese. In the evening we played with RikeH's new Smartphone. We made a photo in the Comic style - we think it is really funny, what do you think? Many greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Mar 18, 2011, 9:55 am	Hello from Prerow, we drove to another Village - Prerow - today. First we had a stop at the High Dune. But to tell the truth, it wasn't that high... Well, we saw the Sea from here. In the other direction we saw the little Prerow River. Then we went to the Beach. It was so cold and windy that we didn't walk a long time. We found a nice place without wind - next to an old tree. Later we visited the small church. We went inside - it was nice there. There were ships inside. Here you can light candles for the ones you love and who are dead. We light one for our really good friend Tobi, who died one year ago. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Mar 18, 2011, 10:05 am	Hello Murph, It was so cold outside - Inuk and I decided to stay inside. We wrote updates for our travellogs and watched some of my friends. First we looked at the one of UrselHH. She has such a great time in Finland. She visited the Baltic Sea, too, but had more sunshine - and more snow. TobiHH is at the beach, too - but in England - I have no idea, if it is that cold there, too. Then I saw your updates, Murph. You took photos with flowers - well, they are wonderful. A good idea - I wanted to take some flower-photos, too. But not outside, so I walked through the house. This was the first one I found. A white one... Lovely yellow ones... I loved these small white flowers. And the last one is beautiful,too. What do you think? Well, of course you have the better photos, but I found my flowers inside.  Love Dicker Kumpel

It started in another forest - can you see us? Here we are. Then we saw this kind of heath. Later we reached the beach again. There are pieces of wood in the water. Can you remember the Pier behind me? We started there one week ago. In the Village we found a boat  - but not in the water. There were statues of some people. A really nice place. We talked a lot about the last days. There were many beautiful flowers in the garden - I wanted to show you some of it. Murph, Bine and Holgi - I hope you like these ones more! They are really nice, aren't they? It is good to have the Springtime now. Later we went into the house and sat on our place. My guests and I have our own big armchair. Suddenly we heart someone laughing. A yellow guy looked around the corner. We met him in Zingst. His name is GustavHH and I he heard about the life of ToyVoyagers and wants to become one, too.
RikeH Posted Mar 27, 2011, 7:23 pm	Hello, we went to Hamburg today. Behind me you can see the Gothic Revival Church of St. Nicholas. It was formerly one of the five Lutheran main churches in Hamburg. It is now in ruins, serving as a memorial. </div> We went there because a colleague of RikeH told us, that there is an elevater, who can take us to a 75,3 metre-high platform inside the spire. Of course we tried it out. And here you see the view – it was amazing. You can see the Townhall and the Lake Alster behind me. This was the view to the old warehouse destrict of Hamburg – there are many nice old buildings. The next direction is to the Port of Hamburg. I will finish a cruise there in December! It was nice on the platform, but very windy and RikeH was afraid of loosing us, so we went down to the ground. Here you see all of us together. Can you imagine – I have been there on the tower!!! It was amazing.

We saw the river again - there were some ducks, I told them about the life of a ToyVoyager, but they were not interested in coming with us. Two other beautiful views - it was a nice place - I understand why the ducks live here.

RikeH Posted Apr 14, 2011, 10:55 pm	Hello from Travemünde, we went to the Baltic Sea - to a place called Travemünde. The weather was really nice in the morning. We walked along the beach. </div> There were beautiful buildings. We had a delicious dinner in this funny chair. Later the weather was a little cloudy, but no problem for a ToyVoyager. This is the oldest lighthouse of Germany, but it was not open. Behind me is a big hotel, you should spend some time here. This is the photo of the afternoon - it was so windy! Have a look at my ears! The trainstation of Travemünde is funny, on the tower you can see, when the next train to Lübeck will leave. At home we had delicious muffins.

RikeH Posted Apr 23, 2011, 10:25 pm	Hello again, We went to Hamburg again to see the Port. First we had a look at the new building of a philharmonics. And I saw a very big ship on the Elbe River. This is the Cap San Diego - it is a museum now. Behind me you see another museum-ship – it is a sailing ship – the Rickmer Rickmers. These are little boats which pull the big ships. This is a nicer view of the Rickmer Rickmers. This monument is a thank you for the crew of the ship Cap Anamur. They helped many Vietnamese people. It is always great to be here.
RikeH Posted Apr 25, 2011, 5:39 pm	Happy Easter!!! The day started with a letter for me. It is from my friend Murph. I was so happy and opened it. A nice card came out of the envelope. Thanks Murph! Today it is Easter and I met the Easter bunny. He told me that I should seek for some surprises. But first I talked with some other funny guys hanging around here. Then it was time to seek for some nice things. I found something... ...it is an Easter net, as they say here in Germany. It was a difficult search, so I asked Long Hippo to help me. He gave me a hint. There is a bunny with an egg in his bucket. It is for me! The bunny told me that there will be one more surprise outside. So I went out and found a bunny out of chocolate! What a lot of presents for me! When I sat there, some chicken came. They were so cute! They wanted some chocolate, but it is not good for them - so I gave them some grain. I really hope that you all have a great Easter weekend, too!
RikeH Posted May 1, 2011, 8:40 pm	Hello Mum, I made a trip without you! Thomas and I went to a concert in Aschaffenburg. Here you see our car: I was allowed to sit in the front! I was a big help with the navigation system. We made a rest in the sunshine, because the way was really long! But then we reached Aschaffenburg. A nice little town. Behind me you can see the Castle Johannisburg. We had a nice view over the River Main. In the palace garden were beautiful trees. The Castle and the Main: This is the Pompejanum. It is a replica of a villa from Pompeii. It was built in 1840 - 1884. It was very hot so I took a rest in the shadow. We had a wonderful look over the garden. Then we were really close to the Castle – what a nice building. On our way back to the hotel we saw this house for doves. But nobody was at home. This was the concert we visited in the evening. We were not allowed to take photos there. But I can show you our hotel. It was called Wilder Mann – furious man – can you see the funny sign with the man behind me? It was a nice trip! RikeH Posted May 2, 2011, 7:13 pm	Hi from Norderstedt, We went to the Landesgartenschau in Norderstedt. They show a lot of plants there, it will last all summer long. First we listened to a choir. Then we went to the plants. First we saw wonderful rhododendrons. There were many. It was the time of the tulips, so we saw a lot of in different colors. There was a funny exhibition of chicken. They were created by different Countrywomen's Associations. I loved this view. Next to some flowers I met this nice lady bird. We talked about the life of a ToyVoyager – and asked her to take the place of poor kidnapped HelgaHH, because they really look like twins. <div id="cc-m-13152677127" class="j-module n j-text "> Well – she agreed, so she will become a ToyVoyager now. I laughed about this funny person – maybe it is a straw man. We went to a playground and found lovely sheep! Here you can see all of us TVs – can you find me? We visited the chicken from our last visit again. There were many wonderful flowers. Some flowers were inside a building!
RikeH Posted May 17, 2011, 8:50 pm	Hi Mum, It was time to party today. My best friend Murph will come and visit us. I wanted to give him and his guest presents – I found something nice and had to wrap it. I searched nice bands to decorate the presents. Ready – I hope that they will like it. I waited for hours – then Murph came. I was so happy to see him! And of course it was nice to see Ulrich, too. I introduced my other guests. Later Mum came and told us that it was time to have coffee and delicious cake. We went to the table – or maybe on the table. Of course we had beautiful flowers for Mum this afternoon. Then I had a delicious piece of cake. It was so yummy! Guess what – it was time for presents then. Murph and Ulrich brought some for us. We looked what was in the baskets. There were really delicious sweets. Then Murph and Ulrich got presents, too. They really loved it! We had a party all day long! And in the evening Murph and I had a nice glass of wine and talked a lot!

This was the one we took. Look, we were high in the air - and I saw the ground and some clouds. Later we had more clouds. We arrived in Krakow in Poland. We walked in the old city and saw this nice gate. I played in the miniature. This is a Part of the old City Wall. We will see more in the next days. Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted May 26, 2011, 12:37 pm	Hi again, We visited the Wawel Royal Castle today. It is situated on a hill next to the Vistuala River. On the way to the Castle we passed this wonderful church. You see a part of the Castle behind me. It was a very steep way. We had a nice view over the River. And when I turned I had this tower behind me. Religion is important in Poland - and I saw the momument for the pope John Paul II. There was a big cathedral on the hill. When we walked down to the river, we saw this big dragon. He was really scary! But no problem for me - I am a brave bunny! Tomorrow we will make a boat trip, this will be fun, I hope. Love Dicker Kumpel

But first you see me on the boat. I had a great place! There was a big abbey next to the river. Then we saw the Castle from the water - it was so nice and big! I liked this sailing boat. We saw the street with the name of RikeH's friend. This building looked really big! There are wonderful gardens around the city centre. I loved this bridge. And this fountain was so nice! In the afternoon we had to fly back home. I had my own seat! And I found a great place in the car, too. Love Dicker Kumpel

RikeH Posted Jun 4, 2011, 10:39 pm	Hello from Newfoundland, Today we made a trip to a point called Cape St. Francis.  On the way we stopped at this lovely beach. Then we reached the Cape - and had a wonderful view. I enjoyed sitting on the Cliff looking at the Cape. We were allowed to sit in the front of the car - it was great! Then we drove back to St. John's and went onto the Signal Hill. We saw a nice lake. And there was the town.It was very windy there - look at my ears. This was the Building - where Mr.Marconi started the first wireless connection between Canada and England a long time ago. Here you see the street, where we live at the moment. The houses are very colorful. I still was not allowed to drive the car up to now. But I found out, that it has a camera to show, what is behind the car...It must be easy to drive it, I will ask RikeH everyday! Many greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 4, 2011, 11:49 pm	Hello again, Today we drove to a point called Cape Spear. Behind me you can see the old Lighthouse. Maybe we will see lighthouses every day? I am not sure about it. We had a wonderful view from the place. And there is the most easterly point of North America. This was amazing. Then we drove to another nice place - it is the Ferryland Lighthouse. On the way we saw the wonderful Coast. We went to this lighthouse... ...and had this delicious picnic there. I loved this place! Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 6, 2011, 12:40 am	Hello, We went to visit a lot of nesting birds today. But first we stopped at a little harbour with beautiful boats in different colors. This net is used by the fishermen. I wanted to try it out, but I am too small. Then we arrived at Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve. It is  is one of Newfoundland's major seabird colonies. During the breeding season, it is home to 24,000 Northern gannet, 20,000 black-legged kittiwake, 20,000 common murre, and 2,000 thick-billed murre. Well - we wanted to go there and count them all. It was a nice walk along the coast. We came nearer to the biggest rock. Most of the Northern gannets, for example, make their nests on "Bird Rock"—a 100-metre-tall stack of sandstone that is separated from the viewing area by a chasm only a few metres wide. Here you see me really close to the rock. I wanted to go nearer, but my Mum RikeH was a little afraid of the steep cliffs - and unfortunately she cannot fly - and told me that a 100-meter-fall would have been not really good for her. These were the views to the other directions. We were not able to count the birds, because many of them were away to find food for their children. This night we spent in a funny cottage. Have you ever seen something like this in a fridge? There was a big bear, but I was not afraid of it. I found a great chair to relax. But it was nicer to spend the evening together with Quentin Ducky and Lintilla in front of the fireplace. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 8, 2011, 12:03 am	Hello friends, we drove to Harbour Grace - but we stopped in a little village - and took a photo of this nice church. Then we arrived in Harbour Grace. Behind me you can see the the SS Kyle. The vessel was pruchased by the Earl Brothers Fisheries of Carbonear in 1960 and used in the seal trade until 1967 when an iceberg accident caused her to be moored in the Harbour Grace harbour. During a storm the SS Kyle broke its moorings and drifted to Riverhead where it has been standing ever since. Amelia Earhart took flight from Harbour Grace on May 20, 1932, to become the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. The plane behind her monument is the "Spirit of Harbour Grace". We had a closer look at the SS Kyle from here, too. After looking at all these exciting things we drove to our next destination.  We made a rest at this lovely place. There were beautiful rocks in the sea behind me, but unfortunately they are really small on the picture. But they were wonderful when I saw them. Some kilometers later we saw a moose next to the road. We all were so glad - and of course I wanted a photo with it. Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 8, 2011, 11:03 am	Hello from Bonavista, We were in Bonavista. On our way we stopped at a cliff, where puffins are living. They are so cute and funny. We saw a lot of them, sitting there and flying around, but they were far away. You can see the black and white dots on the photo behind me : there were the puffins. The nature around were really beautiful, too. I found this funny chair - so you can see a puffin and me! Then we went to Bonavista - behind me is the lighthouse. This is a monument of John Cabot, who gave this part of the land the name. We drove to nice rock formations, called Dungeon Rocks. It was a windy place - like all places here in Newfoundland. Near to the Rocks were some animals - I visited them. First I talked with the cow.I told her about the ToyVoyagers, but she didn't seem to be interested. So I changed to the first horse... ... and to the second. But they were too tired. Look! So it was time for some more sightseeing - one of many churches in the town of Bonavista. There was a big pond - and we walked around it. These houses were important in the history of the town - but I didn't really understand why. Let's talk about the big car again - I asked to drive it, and this time they answered 'not yet'. This is even better than no... yours Dicker Kumpel

There are many of them here in Newfoundland. We drove back to Twillingate and found a nice place for this photo. Then it was time for adventure. We were making a boat trip. There were no icebergs,  but boat trips are always fun. I were allowed to be the driver. Maybe RikeH and Thomas will allow me to drive the Jeep, when I am doing a good job here. It was lovely to be on the water. I searched for Whales, but we didn't find any. The view was so nice! But it was very windy! We stopped near to some nice rock formations. Can you see the hole in the rock behind me? We continued our trip and saw a little village from the seaside. This was fun! Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 13, 2011, 12:28 am	Hello friends, we spent the day in the Gros Morne National Park. Here are many big mountains and wonderful bays. I liked it a lot! First we stopped at a lookout and saw the Bonne Bay. We drove further and stopped next to it. The next stop was next to the Tablelands. They were really interesting and we made a walk there. Next to the trail were these beautiful flowers. Then we reached the end of the trail and saw this great valley with a nice river. Can you see that there is still snow on the top of the mountains? I loved the river. In a small town called Woody Point we saw this old house. I have no idea, why RikeH was not able to make a nicer photo - maybe because it was too windy? Next to the house was another lighthouse. This was the view when I stand next to the lighthouse. After walking another trail we reached this wonderful waterfall. It was amazing! Well - you remember - it is still my dream to drive the Jeep. Today I looked at the motor. I have to understand how it works to drive the car. And I learnt the signs next to the road. There are mooses in the area, I think. I finished the day with another lighthouse - it is the one of Rocky Harbour, where we are living at the moment. Behind the lighthouse is the Gulf of St. Lawrence. In the evening I saw this wonderful sunset. yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 15, 2011, 1:44 am	Hello again, my Mum RikeH packed our bags again - so we had time to play in front of the cottage. I loved the slide. It was a very big one! Then I tried the swing. But playing alone was boring - so we all tried to use the slide together. I was the fastest! The idea was not so good... My Mum RikeH came and told us to sit in the sunshine. Later we were on the road again and stopped at this funny rock. It is called Arches and really nice. The beach next to it was not really nice and sandy - and it was a little windy, so we decided to move on. We spent this night in a lodge. Next to it was this pond. Tomorrow it is my birthday. RikeH Posted Jun 16, 2011, 2:00 am	Hello friends, as you know, it was my birthday today. I got a beautiful present! The other came and sang a wonderful song for me. Then they gave me a big hug! After the breakfast we drove to St. Anthony - it is in the North of Newfoundland. Next to the street we found some snow - in June! We made a boat trip. This was our boat. Can you see, what was behind me? Yes - we saw this wonderful iceberg! This was amazing. We drove around it - and made a lot of photos. Then we left it. Bye iceberg! We drove along the Coast and saw a small lighthouse. RikeH had to hold me, because it was so windy on the boat! There should be something nice in the next bay. Another iceberg - he had such a funny shape. In the evening we had the birthday party! We had a lovely drink... ... and something nice to eat. But I loved the drink more! And made some nonsense. We were very tired for a moment. But then we decided to become artists! My birthday was great - maybe I should have a party like this every week. yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 16, 2011, 8:07 pm	Hello from St. Anthony again, we planned a lazy day today, but made a short walk to a lighthouse. But first I wanted a photo of our home here. On our way to the lighthouse we saw this nice plane. It is in a Memorial Park for people who died during their fight agains fire. Then it was time for a lighthouse. It was the same we saw from the boat yesterday. We had a lovely view to the other side. This photo is typical for the sense of humour of the people here. They call the steps - stairway to heaven. Because there is a cemetary at the beginning of the steps. We went back to the town - you can see it. We stopped at a museum - there is a monument in front of it. Did you find me - here I am! An artist created a fish out of ice in front of the museum. It looked great! In the evening I sat in our room and looked out of the window - it is a nice place. Bye yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 18, 2011, 12:00 am	Happy birthday Thomas !!!  Today it was time for a museum. It was at the place where Vikings lived around 1000 years ago. Behind me you can see their village. They had very funny houses. I went inside - there was a wonderful fire. I found big helmets... ... and big shoes. I visited the old smithy. Can you find me? And here was something for HoBi and Murph - do you know these mushrooms? It was great - I met some of the Vikings - maybe they came back home after being away for 1000 years? RikeH Posted Jun 22, 2011, 8:01 pm	Hello friends, It was our last day in Canada today. I looked into my travelog and found out that I forgot to post one of the most important events of the holiday. I drove the Jeep Grand Cherokee!!! Look. And I drove really fast. It was so much fun! Maybe I will become a race driver in a few years! In the garden of our last cottage I found a friend. Can you see him? Here is a better photo. And on this photo you can see him really good, I think. Of course we talked a lot about our different lives! In the evening our traveling group sat together in a big armchair. We met a new friend from Newfoundland. He is the funny puffin between us. We had a small party – it was such a nice holiday! RikeH Posted Jun 28, 2011, 8:02 pm	Hello friends, My Mum RikeH told me that she had a surprise for me. So I sat on the sofa and waited. Suddenly a nice flower and a gift stood in front of me. I took a closer look – there was something blue behind it. Look – it was my best friend Murph – he came to visit me. What a big surprise – I was so happy to see him. Of course I opened my gift. I decided to show the Landesgartenschau to Murph and Belka. As always there were many beautiful flowers. This plant was so funny. And I met the crazy chickens again. There were storks, too… … and little pigs. I wanted to play with the pigs, but I was not allowed to do it. So we went to another place and had fun on the playground. Another funny guy. And more wonderful flowers. I talked with this strange man. He had a nice house. There was a strange tree in his garden. Then we met someone who played the piano. It was a great day. But then I had to say good-bye to Murph. It is always great to see him.
RikeH Posted Jul 17, 2011, 8:16 pm	Hello, We are back in Germany for two weeks now, but nothing interesting happened. Today I decided to show my guests Sülfeld. This is the center of Sülfeld . Behind me you can see the pharmacy – but don’t worry, I am fine and need nothing there. Then we saw the old church. Luckily the door was open and I went inside. Our church is really nice! And I am happy that I were able to make some photos there today.

I love this color! Then we went into the house with flowers. My grandma loves these flowers. There were many other flowers – and the good thing was – no rain inside the house!
RikeH Posted Jul 30, 2011, 3:30 pm	Hi from Hamburg again, Today we drove to Hamburg and saw the Alster – a lake in the city center. You can see the lake behind me. There is a nice fountain on it. There were some busy people in a small boat. They cleaned the lake, because there were some bottles etc. in it. I saw another boat – with cars on it – this was funny! We walked around the lake. These nice boats offer trips on the Alster. I loved the next place. Behind me is the town hall of Hamburg. A nice building! The other side of the river was beautiful, too. Back home it was time to say good-bye to Aslan. We became good friends over the weeks. I will miss him. We all gave him a big hug.
RikeH Posted Jul 30, 2011, 6:06 pm	Hello from Kiel, My Mum RikeH had a seminar in another town – Kiel. And we asked her to take us with her. Kiel is a nice town near to the Baltic Sea. Many ferries start in Kiel. We saw the ferry to Gothenburg. It was really big! I have no idea what this is for – but wanted a photo… We saw any nice ships in the harbor. There is a shipyard on the other side. We walked a lot and came to a small harbor with small ships. There were some seals living. They enjoyed the sunshine. I would have loved to see them swimming, but they were really lazy. This is the garden of the Castle – we relaxed next to the beautiful flowers. Then we visited a nice church.
RikeH Posted Jul 31, 2011, 6:54 pm	Hello from Kiel, We spent another day in Kiel. And today we wanted to make a boat trip. Do you remember the ferry to Gothenburg? We saw another one like this today. We were nearer to it, when we sat on the boat. There were some strange buildings behind me. Later we saw a cruise ship – it was soooo big! There were a lot of people on our boat. And some people did some sport on the water. There was a big sailing ship behind me. It was nice to be on the water. Look - the big ship started it way to the next destination. This was our little boat. Then I saw the cruise ship again. I would love to do a cruise now! Later we saw two other ferries – Kiel seems to be important for ferries!
RikeH Posted Aug 2, 2011, 8:04 pm	Hi friends, Two new guests arrived today. They are DuDette and DuDu – a lovely mouse-pair. I welcomed them and we talked a lot. Then I introduced them to my other guests. I wanted to show them the surroundings of Sülfeld. First we found a tractor! There were wonderful big trees here – and everything was so green. But we found a field of grain, too. Then we climbed a big rock – it was so steep! After the climbing I was tired and relaxed in the sun with my new guests. On our way back home we found this nice flower… … and a big bug. Look what a funny tree. Back home I found a card sent by my best friend Murph. There was a ladybird between a lot of mushrooms and we had to find it. We found it! That was fun! Thanks Murph!
RikeH Posted Aug 9, 2011, 9:13 pm	Hello from Potsdam, We made a nice trip this weekend. We went to Potsdam – famous for the wonderful castle Sanssouci. You can see it behind me. There were nice statues in the garden. And a strange Chinese Tea-House. Later I saw this wonderful fountain – in the background is the Orangery. Yes – here you can see it better. In the evening we relaxed on the big bed. Enough space for us 4. I talked with Moony – so DuDu and DuDette had time for themselves.

Yes – there is a Brandenburger Tor in Potsdam, too – not only in Berlin. And the one in Potsdam is older than the one in Berlin. This is the oldest church in Potsdam. This part of the town is called Dutch Quarter. There are really nice houses here. There is another old Gate. Then we saw another really beautiful church. Next to it is the old Townhall. This evening we spent on the colorful armchair.
RikeH Posted Aug 14, 2011, 10:24 am	Hello from the capital of Germany. After spending two days in Potsdam it was time to drive home today. But we visited another city on our way. Can you imagine where we were? (maybe I gave you a little hint – with the capital of Germany…) Maybe you don’t know it – the drink is called Berliner Weisse mit Schuß – and it is typical for Berlin. It was yummy! Then it was time for sightseeing. We saw some buildings in the new government district. Then we saw the Reichstag. And the famous Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Before driving home we had a rest at the Potsdamer Platz. The roof of the building is so interesting. It was a nice week-end. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Aug 16, 2011, 9:15 pm	Hello from Hamburg. I have shown photos the town hall of Hamburg for so many times, but I never visited it. But this weekend I went into it. Of course I will show you the photos. This is the hall, where the important people from Hamburg come together. This was another room – with more places – I think it is a place, where the people meet for special dinners. I loved the ceiling. In the past the people had funny clothes… I found a wonderful old chair. This is the room of the mayor – behind my head you can see the golden book of Hamburg. There were more rooms – but I cannot remember, who works in the rooms. The last room we visited was the biggest room – and it was really big. It was really interesting ! You all should come and visit it.

HoBi Posted Aug 26, 2011, 7:23 pm	Hello Mum, today Murph invited me to went into the forest with him. We wanted to find a lot of mushrooms for the dinner. The first mushroom we found was a toothed jelly fungus, what a funny name…     Can you see the spikes on the buttom side?     The next mushrooms were not fort he pan: Citron amanita Egg of the stinkhorn     Small stinkhorns – puh, they stunk! But these mushrooms were eatable. We took them with us. More bay boletes Our baskets were almost full. Seeking for mushrooms is very exhausting, so I had to take a rest. Murph knew poisonous mushrooms, too.     What a wonderful mushroom. Then we had to go home. The baskets were very heavy. On our way back we found these colorful mushrooms – look – they are lilac. They are called Amethyst deciever. Murph put them into our baskets. Can you believe it?  – They were eatable, too. At the end we found the king bolete. But our baskets were so full, so it is still in the forest. This will be a delicious dinner! Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Aug 30, 2011, 10:10 pm	Hello friends, Today we went to the Landesgartenschau in Norderstedt. I found this lovely heart. A nice man made it out of wood. Can you see me??? More nice flowers – and behind me you can see the church of the Landesgartenschau. I loved dahlias, and there were a lot of them in different colors! Then we made a rest and heard a choir – to tell the truth it was a very small choir, but I liked the music. Later it was time to play on this funny sheep. I loved these flowers, too!

Because the way from Germana to Spain is really long, we took the plane. There were mountains to see. We arrived in sunny Malaga and made a walk into the old town. I found a sunny place. There were some nice buildings. The cathedral was very big. I thought about playing in this fountain, but decided not to do it. This was the main shopping street. With enough shadow. RikeH Posted Sep 4, 2011, 8:33 pm	Hello from Gibraltar, we made our holidays in Spain, but visited Great Britain today. Behind me you can see Gibraltar. And when you look now behind me, you can see the coast of Africa. This was amazing! This was the lighthouse of Gibraltar. Here I am in front of the Street of Gibraltar. There was a mosque near to the most southern Point of Gibraltar. When we were on our way back to Spain we had to pass the runway of the airport from Gibraltar. This was fun! We were fast enough. RikeH Posted Sep 4, 2011, 8:54 pm	Hello from Spain again, after leaving Gibraltar we saw this nice white village. Then we arrived in Ronda. Here you see me in the oldest bullfighting arena in Spain. I had a look, but fortunately there was no fight today. So we were able to take this nice photo. Then we went to the old town of Ronda. Between the old part of Ronda and the new part there is a big bridge. It is really high. This is the view from another place. And the bridge from the other side. It was really interesting and I found this wonderful ceramic from Ronda. This is an old tower, but I don't know the name. There is a monument in Ronda for the poor bulls, that had to fight here. And a monument for the torero. It was interesting, although I don't like the idea to kill bulls in that way. Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Sep 5, 2011, 6:42 pm	Hello from Jerez de la Frontera, we are travelling by bus - and we have our own seat! The next place we visited was the royal riding school. The ground was wonderful with a nice fountain. Then I saw the people working with the horses. This horse had to go alone. Then we went to the place where they repair the saddles. Where is the horse? After the time with the horses, we visited a Sherry Bodega. Here I sat in front of a barrel. There were many more barrels. You know that I love driving fast - and I found a barrel signed by Ayrton Senna. Here the people created the Sherry many years ago. Cheers! Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Sep 6, 2011, 9:03 pm	Hello from Sevilla,   today we started to explore Sevilla. The first monument was the real Alcazar. An interested ToyVoyager should see many things and arts... There were many interesting places inside the palace. This room was really great with the wonderful ceiling. This view was very beautiful, too. At the end there were some ceramics on the wall. This funny man... ...and I found a bunny. Then some birds came to visit the palace - do you know, what kind of birds they were? Outside were wonderful gardens. Then we left the palace - behind me you can see the cathedral. Another view of the tower. Then we went inside. This is the huge golden altar. More views of the cathedral. We went onto the tower and had nice views of the city. Before we drove back to the hotel we went into the old city. Here is the school where my Mum learnt Spanish some years ago. This is the townhall. Some other buildings. At this golden tower we started a boat tour. Here you see it from the water. The two bridges show one dinosaur. Can you see it? RikeH Posted Sep 8, 2011, 5:23 pm	Hello from Aracena, we visited a great flowstone cave called Gruta de las Maravillas, but we were not allowed to take photos there. After the visit we climbed up a hill and saw this nice bell tower. The we walked around this ruin. There was a nice church next to the ruin. Time for a group photo... In the village I found this funny monument. In this region many black pigs are living. Later we drive back to Sevilla. We visited the gardens and monuments of the Ibero-American Exhibition from 1929. This place is called American place. It was so hot in this place - around 38 degrees Celsius. I found a lovely fountain. And a palm tree. This nice house is for the gardener. The last and most wonderful place of the exhibition is the Spanish place. There are nice corners from every region of Spain. I loved this place! And I found the corner of the Canary Islands. RikeH Posted Sep 9, 2011, 2:39 pm	Hello from Cordoba, we left Sevilla and drove to Cordoba. Behind me you can see the Roman Bridge. This was a big place in the middle of Cordoba. Then we visited the Mezquita, it was a mosque, later they build a church inside the mosque. This was inside the Mezquita, there were many columns. We passed one side of the church. Back to the old times - this was the most important part of the mosque. The ceiling there was wonderful. This is the church, of course. We walked through the old city. This is the flower street. RikeH Posted Sep 17, 2011, 3:48 pm	Hello again, my last photo yesterday was from a patio - another one today. We learnt a lot about Olive Oil today. This is a farm, where they produce and bottle the oil.  Here they press the olives with millstones. This is the machine for pressing the olives for a second time. In these bin they used to store the oil. And here you see the bottles of olive oil. This was really interesting. We continued our trip and went to Priego de Cordoba. I saw some olive trees on the way. In the city there were nice small streets. We had a nice view over the surroundings. Another street with wonderful flowers. We spent some time in this nice park. Then we saw the biggest fountain in the city. I think this was the town hall. Love Dicker Kumpel

Our guide told us so much about history - it was a too much for me, but I liked the buildings. Look, how nice the sunshine and the shadow were on this Gate. This pillar was from the time of the inquisition. Then we had a rest in front of the church - and the church bells were ringing. This is the university. We loved this funny man. There were many nice palaces in this street. We drove a short way with the bus then we arrived in Ubeda. There was a nice big place. and the town hall. Not so much to take photos... so we went to Granada. This was our first view of the Alhambra. We will go there tomorrow. This church was next to the lookout. This was one of the most famous places in the Alhambra. There were some old ruins. This was a nice house - but fortunately not a place for fighting with bulls. Another view inside the Alhambra. I loved this wooden ceiling. I stand in the shadow - but you can see the building and garden. There are words written on the wall. I had a view over Granada. Another nice ceiling. Well - the Alhambra was nice, but it was not the best place of the trip up to now. On our way back to the hotel we saw the town hall. We saw a lot of town halls on our trip - like the lighthouses in Canada. Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Sep 18, 2011, 10:56 am	Hi from Guadix, we visited Guadix this day.  It is famous for it cave-houses. This was the bus we were travelling with. We visited two cave-houses. It was interesting to see, how people live here. The rooms were nice, but most were without windows. The house we visited was behind this wall. Then we visited this housse. The man who owns this cave had a lovely kind of garden. We went onto a hill and had this view. We went into the church of Guadix - but it was dark inside. I liked this image. Back home in Granada we made a walk in the city and saw this momument. This was the cathedral. We went inside, but we were not allowed to take photos there. yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Sep 18, 2011, 8:51 pm	Hello from the mountains called Alpujarras, We stopped in a nice small village called Pampaneira. A nice view in the mountains. I liked the little village. On our way to Trevelez we stopped at this wonderful lookout. We visited a small company where they produce air dried ham. You can see the ham behind me. They were really big. We ate some ham later - it was delicious. This was the last day of our holidays. It was very interesting - and I was able to train my Spanish language. yours Dicker Kumpel

So we decided to make our own photos. Hopefully Mum will love them. We built our boats and started on the table. Then Henrik and I jumped into the big lake with Nessie. Fortunately we didn’t sink.
RikeH Posted Oct 2, 2011, 9:52 am	Hello friends, We were on our way to Bremerhaven. We had to cross the River Elbe. There was a big ship on the Elbe, when we waited for our ferry. Then we were on the Elbe. Then we arrived in Bremerhaven. This was our first view of the city. We went through the city and found this funny monument. There was a beautiful church – and we had lovely sunny weather. In Bremerhaven is a museum for ships – and we saw a lot of them. And a submarine! I have no idea, who this is. First I thought about Dubai, when I saw this building, but I am still in Germany. In the evening we were in our hotel. Look, we have a nice view out of our room.

Here you can see me with the penguins. <div id="cc-m-13152642827" class="j-module n j-text "> We were able to see them swimming and watch it from ‘under the water’. When I left the penguins I saw another animal. This was funny! Then I saw it - it was the bird swimming in the little lake. There were many more native birds here. At the end I visited this friendly seal. It was a great experience!
RikeH Posted Oct 3, 2011, 3:46 pm	Hi from the North Sea, We went to the Coast today – and wanted to see some lighthouses. I saw a lot of lighthouses during my holiday in june in Canada – but wanted to see more. This was the first one – it is not a big one, but a nice one. There was no water next to the Coast, but Iexplained my guests, that this is normal here, because of the tides. There were fisher boats in the little harbor. Behind me you can see the different water levels. They had very high water levels in some years. In another little village we saw this strange lighthouse - have you ever seen one like this? The water still was not near to us. On our way back we stopped at this beautiful windmill.

There were many nice buildings, but I loved this old crane. Of course, the houses were beautiful, too. What a funny monument. It was a nice long weekend.

Then we heard some music. I laughed about this funny mushroom. Maybe Murph knows what kind of mushroom it is. At the end we found some pumpkins - Halloween is coming.

We liked this one - but RikeH wanted another. She decided to take this one - can you see the difference? We put a sign with her name on the tree - and the tree will be here until Christmas. This is funny. I would love to know, who will stay here for Christmas for us - but RikeH told me that the Cruise Competition is not over now... On our way back to the car we found mushrooms. Murph - any ideas about these mushrooms?

First there were photos of different TVs. One of it showed Henrik. And I found a photo of Murph. This is the photo of TV-TV that won the 10th place in the television show. Later I found a photo of me - how exciting.

You can see - it is autumn here in Germany now. This is the church of Bad Oldesloe. There is a nice river in Bad Oldesloe. Some old houses. Here you see me in front of the town hall.

Fortunately, there were some photos of some of us. I am on some photos – we loved the one with Architecture… …and a funny one with a flower in Best Plantlife. We found a nice photo of Princess Sarah in Animal Magic… …and a photo of Food and Drink with Squizzle – yummy! There was no photo of Mirembe for this year – but no problem, she didn’t travel in 2010, but we are sure to see her here for the next award. Now we have a great request to all, who read this:

But here they are! I was so happy to meet him. He brought some gifts! First we found a postcard and some coins! There were more things to unwrap: And a little book with photos of the Iran. One more gift! This was great –thanks ipuenktchen for helping ThomasHH to find all these things!

We walked over a small bridge and saw a nice river. Then we had a rest in a little hut. Here you see a nice tree behind me – it was really cold today. Can you imagine – what the big green thing was? Look: Back home I found ta nice tree.
RikeH Posted Nov 28, 2011, 3:50 pm	Hello friends, it was time to travel again. We will go on a cruise - I love cruises. Here you see me waiting at the airport - there was our plane. I had a delicious meal. And I looked out of the window. This was great. This was the night view from our balcony. Behind me you can see Las Palmas. And this is a part of our ship. In the evening I went to the pooldeck. There were many people from the crew telling us, who they are, and what we can do on the ship. My guests and I are happy to be on the ship! RikeH Posted Nov 29, 2011, 8:58 pm	Hello and Ahoi, I found two postcards from the ship - so you can see it. In the morning I went onto the balcony and saw an Island - it was Lanzarote, today we only passed it - but we will come back later and visit it. At the beginning of a cruise there is always a test for an emergency - so all people and ToyVoyager on board know, what to do. Here I am with the lifejacket and Sqizzle, because we are so small we can take one together. Of course we hope that we never need it. I went into a Lounge and had a nice piece of cake. Back on the balcony it was time to relax. You can see us in the hammock. We had a great view! What a nice day! yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Nov 30, 2011, 5:44 pm	Hello from Morocco, I woke up this morning and found out that we are in Morocco. First I saw a big ship in the harbour. We made a tour by bus today - and our first stop was high about the city. Look, what a wonderful view. There was an old monument on the hill. Maybe an old castle? Who knows... Later we went to a park with birds - I wanted a photo with the biggest bird. In the city we saw a mosque. We visited the market. The owner of this card loved bottles, I think. Before we went back to the ship we walked along the long beach. Can you remember it? We saw it from the hill. Behind me you can see some white words on the hill, they are from the national hymn of Morocco. I thought about swimming in the water, but decided not to do it. In the evening we left Agadir. RikeH Posted Nov 30, 2011, 5:46 pm	Hi friends, we had another lazy day on the ship.  It was time to show our cabin. We like most this place on the couch next to the window. Here you see me in the bathroom. And we love this place - called Minibar. This is one part. And this is the other. I was invited to visit the bridge. There was much to see. On the map I saw our way over the ocean. It was interesting. And I was allowed to drive the ship. In the afternoon we all had fun with our X-Box. First we played a quiz. The we sang wonderful songs. After having fun it was time to work - here I sat on the balcony and wrote my travellog. When we all were ready we relaxed on our chair in the sun. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 3, 2011, 12:55 pm	Hello from Tenerife, this morning I got up early - and I saw Santa Cruz on the Island Tenerife. Behind me you can see another Cruise Ship. We started our tour over the Island in the mountains - the Anaga Mountain Street. I had a great view. We saw a city in the Valley. There was the Teide - the highest mountain of Spain. We went there later - first we visited the Loro Parque. I met penguins there. And funny fishes - they were really big, but you cannot see how big on this photo. Then I met many colorful birds - I talked with this one, but he didn't want to become a ToyVoyager. Look - what a wonderful flower. Then we went through the part with orchids. And I was cought by a big monster... Fortunately we only played together... We continued our trip and went to the Teide Mountain. There were strange plants here. Behind me you can see the Teide Mountain. We decided not to climb onto it. Next to the Teide there were some strange shaped Rocks called Los Roques. RikeH Posted Dec 5, 2011, 11:49 am	Hello from La Gomera! We did a nice boat trip - and watched out for dolphins and pilot whales . But first you can see the view from our balcony. This was San Sebastian on the La Gomera Island. Then we were on our little boat. Where were the dolphins and whales? I saw a lot! We saw many more of them - but it was not so easy to take photos - with us ToyVoyagers and the animals. Then we made a little cruise along the Coast. There was a small hotel in the Valley. Can you remember the Teide Mountain we saw yesterday - we saw it today, too. In the evening we found delicious chocolate in our cabin! We loved it! Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 5, 2011, 3:46 pm	Hello from Lanzarote, today we rent a car and drove over the Lanzarote Island. We started in the Jameos de Aqua - some nice Caves.     There was a nice pool next to the Caves. We found funny plants again. Here you can see the pool from another place. We went to a great outlook - called Mirador del Rio. I loved the view! Then we drove to another part of the Island - the national park Timanfaya. We saw a white village on our way to the NP. We drove through the Park in a bus - but it was not easy to make good photos there. These are views over the Park. The devil is the symbol for the NP. They show how hot the ground is. Then a man put water into a hole in the ground. 2 seconds later the water came out like a geysir. It was really interesting. Later we saw some camels next to the street. Before we went back to the ship we walked through Arrecife. Here is the beautiful church. And a nice lake inside the town. Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 6, 2011, 8:26 pm	Hello from Gran Canaria, Another trip by car today. We drove along the Coast and stopped in a little town called Agaete. This is the church. We went into it. There was a wonderful Valley - we had a great view from the end of the street. Back on the Coast Street we stopped at the Mirador de Balcon. Wow - it was high about the water. Later we drove into the Middle of the Island - into a Valley called Barranco de la Aldea. There were very high mountains and steep and narrow streets. I loved this place. We stopped in a small town called Tejeda. This was the funny 'Cruz de Tejeda'. Our last stop was a place called Terror. It has a strange name, but it was peaceful place with a nice church. RikeH Posted Dec 6, 2011, 8:30 pm	Hello friends, it was a day on the Sea again. Today I want to show you some places of the ship. This is the Deck where we are living. It is the 12th deck - really high on the ship. There were some people on the sun deck. I had a rest in the sunshine. This is a nice place to stay. Normally there were more things to eat - but the people here loved to eat.... This place is funny - because you have a lot of place. And a funny chair. They always want the people to use these machines - fortunately I don't have hands. This is one of the restaurants. With a nice house for me. Here you can eat Tapas. And here you can see, where you are. This place is called Atrium. In this place you can buy a lot of things. Christmas is coming! Another house for me. This is the biggest bar on the ship. We liked this place with the nice blue color. On this day it was a little stormy. You can see the waves... And look at my ears - I am flying. In the evening I went into the X-Lounge and had a delicious snack. And I drank my first glass of Champagne. A nice dessert - I love cruises. Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 7, 2011, 9:30 am	Hello from Casablanca, we started our trip in Casablanca with the Hassan-II-Mosque. It is the third biggest mosque of the World. We went inside - not many colors, but nice. It was really intersting. I really liked this mosque. Then we drove along the beach called the Corniche. Our next stop was the King's Palace. We saw two doors - first the small one... ...later the bigger one. We went through the streets of Casablanca. Can you see the beautiful green roofs behind me? We visited a market with fruits... ...and flowers. Then we went to the place with fishes. Love Dicker Kumpel

RikeH didn't spend the evening in our cabin - and we wanted to have more drinks...  We went to our minibar.  I climbed into the minibar - and threw the bottles to my friends. Ready - we had 4 bottles. We brought the bottles to our place. I chose the Vodka. The others had other nice drinks. Hey - the ship moved in a strange way - or did I? What a great evening. RikeH Posted Dec 10, 2011, 8:17 pm	Hi again, oh - what a night...  ...but what a morning  ... there must have been something bad in the bottles yesterday. RikeH told us that a coffee could help. Fortunately we had a machine in our cabin. I had to fill this funny thing into the machine. Then we waited for the coffee. It was yummy. And I felt much better. RikeH Posted Dec 20, 2011, 8:52 pm	Hello friends, Later we started our trip through Funchal. Because we had an awful day yesterday, we decided to take a bus – and having our tour without moving a lot. As you can maybe the see, the weather was not so nice today. We loved this fountain and wanted to play there, but the bus didn’t stop. Then we drove up the hill… …and had a nice view. Far away we saw a church, but it was not a famous one. Then we left Funchal and drove along the coast. There were terraces, where they grew bananas and other plants. We drove through a nice little village, but I forgot the name. Back in Funchal we walked back to our ship. There were three big cruise ships in Funchal today. This was an old Tower – but not very high. And another old building. This was the view from our balcony – one of the other ships and a view over the city of Funchal. Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 22, 2011, 11:32 pm	Hello from La Palma, Normally we arrived in the next Port in the morning – today it was different. We arrived in the noon. So we were able to see it from the distance. It was the Island La Palma. We drove to the national park Caldera de Taburiente – I looked out of the window of our bus. Then we arrived at the Caldera - we had a wonderful view. We made a nice walk and had other nice views – of course it was always the same crater – but we loved it! And we had wonderful weather – this was not typical for this time of the year. Later we went back to Santa Cruz. We stopped at a point called La Concepcion    . There were many palm trees. And I found these wonderful flowers and plants. This was the church in Las Nieves. And a nice house next to the church. Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Dec 22, 2011, 11:40 pm	Hi from Fuerteventura, We visited our last Island today – it was Fuerteventura. We made a tour with Jeeps here. This was a holy mountain. Then we drove to the Coast. It was really steep there. Later we went to a big dune. It was great – but really windy. In the evening we went to the buffet. There were fruits with chocolate and ice sculptures. Can you see the bunny behind me. This was my last view of the ship in the night. I really enjoyed the Cruise. Yours Dicker Kumpel

RikeH Posted Dec 23, 2011, 10:14 am	Hi friends, Can you see it – I made a trip in a plane again. We started in Hamburg. We went to Cologne. Here you see me with some friends in our hotel room. We had our own bed. But to tell the truth – we preferred the armchair. Then we took a walk through the city. This is the dome. We saw a big Christmas tree. We were tired from the long trip and spent the evening in our room.
RikeH Posted Dec 23, 2011, 12:21 pm	Hi from Cologne, Today the weather was sunny – we wanted to see a lot of Christmas Markets today. This was the first one – it was on a ship. We had nice views from the ship. This was the entrance to another Christmas Market. Look – people in the ice rink. Later we saw this nice tower. Around the tower was another Christmas Market. In a shop window we saw these nice animals. They seemed to have fun there. Our next Christmas Market was next to a big gate. On our way back to the hotel we saw another side of the dome – and this time we had sunshine.
RikeH Posted Dec 24, 2011, 12:08 pm	Hi from Cologne again, It was our last day in Cologne – and we decided to visit the zoo. I thought that this animal was not living anymore. irembe wanted to visit the giraffes – and of course we did it. What a big buffalo. Then we visited the penguins. They were so funny. Can you see the meerkats – they were standing under a lamp, because it was very cold outside. Before we left the Zoo, we visited the hippos – wow – they were big! We were near to one hippo. This was our hotel – I really liked it. In the afternoon we made a walk and had a nice view over the river. Back in the city we saw a television show. Here you see the cameras. This was the stage. We saw a man – who is famous in Germany, he is called Semino Rossi. We all didn’t know him – but many people around us were excited to see him.
RikeH Posted Dec 24, 2011, 9:37 pm	Hi from Hamburg, We went to Hamburg today – this was inside the Train station. There was a big Christmas tree in the city. Look – I loved this view. I thought about buying something, but a ToyVoyager should not have much baggage. This big ball was amazing – there were some monuments of Hamburg on it. There were more balls from other cities. Christmas is coming – I am so excited! We will be allowed to help RikeH decorating the Christmas tree.
RikeH Posted Dec 26, 2011, 4:37 pm	Hello friends of Christmas, Christmas will be soon – and I was allowed to help decorating the Christmas tree. My Mum RikeH has a lot of Christmas Decorations. These ones are from her Grandma. I think that these balls were really funny. We had a lot more. This was the tree after the first Part of Decorating. Then we found more decoration for the tree. I really loved this one. Then the Christmas tree was ready.
RikeH Posted Dec 26, 2011, 9:52 pm	Merry Christmas! Today it was Christmas. We were waiting on our Chair. Santa Claus was busy, but fortunately he sent two of his friends. Snowy the friendly snowman and Rudi the famous Reindeer. I spoke with both, sung a wonderful Christmas Song and then I recited a poem. They loved it and I got a present. The others did the same – look, we all received a lot of sweets! Later I played in the Christmas tree. Of course I was careful. I want to show you the nicest things in the Tree. This small bird is really old, but we like it! When I was ready with playing in the tree, Snowy called me. Another surprise? It was from my best friend Murph. Of course I opened it. Thanks Murph! I showed all to my guests! I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas, too!

When we played we saw that MadBird looked like a billiard ball. Look, what we did! Oups…. Well – bad luck for the bird. Only kidding, of course we would never do such a bad thing! It was time to explore the room. There must have been horses here in the Past. I played on this musical instrument. Then I tried to call my best friend Murph, but I have forgotten his number.

I wanted to climb onto this tree – but RikeH didn’t allow it. Behind me you can see the hospital – but I am fine. &nbsp; We went all around this lake! We had problems with the sun, when we took this photo –but hopefully you can see what is on the monument behind me. Our last stop was in front of the nice church.

It was a jigsaw puzzle. I wanted to solve it. Scritches and Princess Sarah came and helped me. Wow – there were many pieces. First we searched the pieces for the border. We started. Done – it was not easy! After one hour we finished it. It was really hard work! Thanks Murph!

Here they find yummy food. Look - although we have winter, I found some flowers in the garden. It is cold in Sülfeld now – I sat on the ice on this well.

Can you see the little lake – normally there is no lake, but it was very rainy the last days. We had lovely sunny weather again. But it is winter – so the trees were not green. We have the longest nature trail for fruits in Europe here - this is a part of it. I loved the clouds in the sky.

And two gifts - one for RikeH and one for me! I opened my gift. And I found a beautiful key ring. Thanks a lot. RikeH allowed me to open her gift, too. It was a wonderful fridge magnet! RikeH Posted Jan 30, 2012, 7:29 pm	Hello friends of winter, We had snow outside, so we decided to leave our chair and made a walk around Sülfeld. Look – there was snow - it looked like winter! We are in the North of Germany and there are not many big hills here. So the children use this small mountain with their sledges. Behind us you can see the old school. It looks nice in the snow. The clock of the church was broken – we haven’t been there at 6 o’ clock. Back home in the garden we sat in the snow and we talked a lot. Then we went inside the house – and found a great place!
RikeH Posted Feb 5, 2012, 9:30 am	Hello, Today we went to a small city called Bad Oldesloe. My Mum RikeH went to school there – many years ago. We crossed a little river – but it was full of ice. This was the view to the other side. Behind me you can see the town hall. This is the Stadthaus – we all had no idea, what is inside it. There were many nice old houses. We had a rest next to the river – but it was a little cold – sitting in the snow. So we decided to walk to the church. Can you see the snowflakes on the photo? The last thing we visited was this water wheel.
RikeH Posted Feb 9, 2012, 9:41 pm	Hi friends, Look – where I’ve been! We went to a Darts Tournament. Well – no one there up to this moment – so I played with the funny things, people put on their heads. Then the games started. First we saw Australia against the Netherlands. I haven’t been to any of these countries so far. People were holding signs in the air, when the players threw 180. The people next to us had funny shirts. On the red side you can see one of the players I love most! Raymond van Barneveld. Look – they showed the tournament in the English television. The cameraman stood next to me! When new player came into the hall - all people stood on their chairs. It was not so easy for a small bunny like me to see something then. The next players came from Wales and England. And this is the best player of the World. Phil Taylor! It was a great afternoon!

She wants to come with us on a holiday.  We will go to Amrum tomorrow. But first we said Hello to Clairchen. It will be an adventurous trip tomorrow. Can you see what we read in the web? Here you can see it better – there is so much ice on the North Sea that not all ferries will be in use – and we cannot take the car with us. RikeH Posted Feb 11, 2012, 6:46 pm	Hi from the Coast, Great News – we were allowed to go on this ferry!  And we went to Amrum. Look – there was a lot of ice on the North Sea. Maybe they didn’t know the way and we were on the way to the North Pole. I looked back – no ice behind our ferry. We had fun in the restaurant and learnt that they say Moin Moin here, instead of Hello. Later I sat in the front of the ferry – can you see the big piece of ice? Love Dicker Kumpel

Well – normally there is water – but now there was ice. Then we relaxed in the sunshine. Later we went to the dunes near to Norddorf.  Look – there was snow in the dunes. We climbed up a very high dune and had a nice view. We went to the water – well – water?  We saw some water – but more sheets of ice. I loved to sit on the wall of another look-out. We were on the way to a small harbour – you can see it behind me. This was the view to the the big port, where the ferries stop. These funny colorful houses were next to the small harbour. Behind me you can see the way we came. This was the other direction. We talked a lot in the sunshine. Then we crossed a high dune… … and had this nice view. Can you find me? Here I am! We made a walk and went to the Coast. There was a lot of ice. There are meadows next to the water. And you can see the church again. This is one of the oldest houses in Nebel. RikeH Posted Feb 15, 2012, 7:10 pm	Hello again,  We had a sunny day again and wanted to visit the lighthouse. We had to climb up 295 steps – it was exhausting, but we had a wonderful view. Can you see the shadow of the lighthouse next to me? And it was so windy! I really love the North Sea and Amrum ! Look, here are some facts about the lighthouse. I want to show you our flat. This is our big corridor. We have a nice kitchen. And this is our living-room. Oups – I am a ghost! I like this boat and would love to sail it in the summertime. These stones were funny! Bine -  have a look – a wonderful carpet in the children’s room. And here you see the chair of us ToyVoyagers! It is great! Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Feb 16, 2012, 2:29 pm	Hello friends,  Yesterday we visited the big lighthouse of Amrum – today we made a walk to another lighthouse. It was a smaller one called Quermarkenfeuer. It was a long walk – but then we saw it. It was not easy to take photos, because the sun was behind the lighthouse. We saw the North Sea and the Dunes. And you can see the way we came. We had a little picnic. Here I am in front of a nice aerial view of the lighthouse. On our way back we saw some deer. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Feb 19, 2012, 10:20 am	Hello from Norddorf,      We moved to another place - now we are living in a nice house. We have our own big chair again. This is our living-room. Here you see the view from our patio. We relaxed in the sun on our own bench. In the afternoon I went to the beach. Look – what a wonderful weather! There were still sheets of ice on the beach. Normally here is beach or water! I spent some time on these wooden piles and enjoyed the sunshine again. Love Dicker Kumpel

We started with a nice walk through the dunes around Norddorf today. Look – we had wonderful views. It was a very long way – we had to walk a lot! Can you see the shape of the little trees here? To the other side we saw a ferry in the big port of Wittdün. Then we arrived at the small harbor. There were nice colorful houses. And now you can see the little harbor. And some fishes – they can swim during the nighttime, because they have lights. This man is so tall. This fish – without lights – is very tall, too. Or maybe I am so small? Then we went upstairs. Two birds showed their view out of the window. I saw Foehr Island from another window. We have funny wallpapers here – one is with sailing ships… …and the other one with lighthouses. RikeH Posted Feb 25, 2012, 4:58 pm	Hello again, Today we went to a place called Vogelkoje. The people caught ducks there in the Past. We saw some ducks on the little lake. In these cages people caught the ducks  - fortunately they don’t use it anymore. There were many trees standing in the water. This funny thing is a home for many insects. RikeH Posted Feb 28, 2012, 8:08 pm	Hello again, Today we went home.  I enjoyed my last minutes on Amrum. Look, this is the place, where the Ferry starts. Then I saw the ferry – it was the newest ferry on this route. Then we were on the ferry and I looked back to Amrum – a wonderful Island. We had a nice place on the ferry – and looked out of the window. No sheets of ice anymore.     It was a wonderful holiday! Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Feb 28, 2012, 8:15 pm	Hello friends. today it was to say goodbye to Clairchen and HömpfMömpf. They will go to Clairchens Mum ScillyHH. Clairchen told us that they will make a nice holiday trip soon, and asked me to come with her. I asked RikeH and she allowed me to go with Clairchen. So I will travel on my own. Sp we said goodbye to Germanya and Phillip. They gave us a big hug. I gave Phillip a special hug, because I am not sure that he will be here, when I come back. ScillyHH Posted Feb 29, 2012, 8:53 pm	Hi mum, I arrived safely at Scillys home. HömpfMömpf, Clairchen and I sat in the bag and looked out. My old friend LewisHH welcomed us. We clambered out of the bag. Time to explore the home of LewisHH and Clairchen. I scale this funny woolen flower. Look, I know such bells from some hotels. HömpfMömpf can handle the bell with his beak. Then I saw this nice boat. HömpfMömpf and I we both were the skipper. Scilly said that we should use the time to prepare our trip to Madeira. So we got this travel guide. I am looking forward for a great time :-) All the very best Dicker Kumpel
ScillyHH Posted Mar 2, 2012, 8:56 pm	Hi mum, tomorrow we will fly to Madeira. And so we had to pack the baggage. Scilly came home. Who is that? A TV in Scillys bag! We gave him a warm welcome. His name is Erol the Pirat and he will come with us to Madeira. We had to hurry packing the suitcase with all the important things like a cup, a plate, a candle holder etc. etc. But Scilly did not like what we have done And she had a surprise for us. We got a parcel from Spencer. He ist a TV brother of Clairchen and Lewis. He join the big German Round Robin at the moment. We were very curious. So we opend the parcel. We found Spencers carnival costume, a dictionary for Hessian, some postcards and some sweets for us  This is a funny postcard. All the very best Dicker Kumpel
ScillyHH Posted Mar 11, 2012, 11:40 am	Hi mum, today our holdidays began. After packing the suitcase yesterday we were ready to fly this morning. See me waiting in the airport building in front of our airplane. We had a great fly. See me sitting in my own seat! I got the full service with coffee, water and a sandwich. But to sit alone is very boring. So my friends Hömpf Mömpf, Erol, Clairchen and Lewis came and we had a nice chat. I tried to organice some drinks. But unfortunately they saw me. Scilly did not want us drinking alcohol. Hmmmm....... So we began to read the travel guide. Now we are well prepared for our stay on the isle of Madeira. Then we took a look out. But there was nothing but some clouds and the sun. After landing we took the Aerobus to Funchal and met our rentlady. She showed us our holiday apartment. The weather  is really great: 20 degrees and sun, sun, sun. We took a first look from our 2 balconies. Now we are very tiered. But I am sure we will have a great time on Madeira. All the very best. ScillyHH Posted Mar 11, 2012, 12:57 pm	Hi mum, Yesterday 7 degrees in Hamburg, today 21 degrees and no clouds in the sky! I love Madeira! First we discovered the market hall. Today on sunday it is not open. But tomorrow we will take a look at all the exotic plants, fruits, vegetables and fish. See me in front of the market hall. HömpfMömpf had a life mission to see palm trees. I want to show you its first palm tree. On our walk trough Funchal we found this little church. How picturesque! This is an old castle by the see. ScillyHH Posted Mar 11, 2012, 1:37 pm	Hi mum, as I told you yesterday we went to the market hall this morning. So many colorful fruits, vegetables, fish and flowers to see. See me with an overview of the market. Here are some localy grown tomatoes. Take a look at all these exotic fruits! We were able to taste some of them. Yummy.... Madeira is well known as the flower island. See me in front of a lovely flower stall. There is also a separat fish hall. Look at me in front of the catch of the day. On the way out we saw two cruise ships in the harbour, the AIDAsol and the Thomson Destiny. Back at home we took a look at the exotic fruits we bought this morning. The green long thing in the middle is a ananas banana, the big green round thing is a soft mushy apple and the small rounds are different kinds of maracuja. It is a shame we can’t share the beautiful smell with you. All the very best Dicker Kumpel
ScillyHH Posted Mar 11, 2012, 2:54 pm	Hi mum Today is Scillys birthday. We TV’s helped Richy to decorate the table. It is nice, isn’t it? Clairchen, HömpfMömpf and I had a nice birthday card for Scilly which we found on Amrum. Thank you for helping us choose the card. To celebrate the birthday Richy invited us to a traditional english tea time in the Reids Pallace Hotel. We sat down on the terrace and had a lovely view over Funchal and the sea. See me in front of the food. We had sandwiches, scones and little cakes. Yummi... After eating so much we walked back into town. First we passed the casino of Funchal. We took a quick picture but we are not allowed inside, minimum age 18! Then we passed through some gardens. See me with some really great palmtrees and cactuses. See me in front of a lovely old villa. From this terrace weh had a view of the marina of Funchal. All the very best Dicker Kumpel
ScillyHH Posted Mar 12, 2012, 7:09 pm	Hi mum, today we went on a trip to Monte. That`s a village 600 m above Funchal. We didn’t want to walk up so we took the cable car. What great fun. See me and my friends riding the cable car. Monte is well known for its baskt cars. Two people sit down in the wicker baskets and ride down the streets into Funchal driven by two pushers. It works without snow! Crazy! There is also a well known church in Monte, the Nossa Senhora do Monte. The last austrian Emperor lies here. See me in front of the church. As Madeira is world famous for its plants and flowers we visited the garden „Jardim Tropical Monte Palace“. Here you can find many plants and flowers. See me in front of some really nice ones. There also some sculptures in the garden. This is the worlds biggest vase which was made by hand. It has a height of 5 m. Oh look, this is called Rheinschlösschen. A former owner of the gardens was impressed by the upper Rhein region and build this house acordingly. It was used as hotel. They also had a part which they called the Japanese Garden. ScillyHH Posted Mar 13, 2012, 8:04 pm	Hi mum Today we went on a trip to Santana. Santana ist he biggest city in the north of the island. We took the bus. It was quiet an adventures ride over mountains and through valleys. See me and some of my friends sitting on the bus. Santana is well known for its triangular houses with thatched roofs. It was my wish to see this special houses. See me and my friends in front of some Santana houses. We sat down in an old chair and enjoied the sunshine. Then a lady in the traditional outfit came and put us on her knee. The town also has a nice little church. So we took a picture. Back at home I wrote this postcard. All the very best Dicker Kumpel
ScillyHH Posted Mar 14, 2012, 7:50 pm	Hi mum, Today is our last day on Madeira. We went on a trip to Camara de Lobos. It is a small fishermen village in the south of Madeira. See me with all the colorful boates. Wow, this is stokfish. Have you ever seen it before? We enjoyed the sun on a fishing boat. After a short walk we had this fantastic view back to the village. But before we have to leave I would like to show you the town hall of Funchal. This church is a former abbey and belongs now to the university of Funchal. Oh look, so many flowers over a beck in middle of town. It's very nice, isn't it! Then we had to go to the airport. See me on the terrace of the airport building in front of a TAP plane. Clairchen showed me the stock of alcohol. What a big variety! We chose white port for the gentlemen and chocolate liqueur for the ladies. The bottles were so heavy Lewis, HömpfMömpf and Erol had to help us. Erol and I searched for paper streamers. HömpfMömpf and I found some sweets. ScillyHH Posted Mar 17, 2012, 8:07 pm	Hi mum time to say good bye to friends. With HömpfMömpf and Clairchen I had two great holidays on the isle of Amrum and on Madeira. I will really miss them. I gave Clairchen a good bye kiss. I gave LewisHH, my old scottish mate, a hug. Then HömpfMömpf kissed me good bye. Erol and I said a "high five" good bye (we both are very cool) LewisHH and Clairchen invited me to join them for another journey in the future. I said I will ask you. RikeH Posted Mar 18, 2012, 8:41 pm	Hi friends, Today I came back home! I had a great time in Madeira, but I am happy to be home, too. Thanks ScillyHH for taking me to Madeira - I really loved it. And I am surely will go on holiday with you again! There were two new guests waiting here – this was nice – we talked a lot. Then I told them about my holiday in Madeira and showed two postcards. I told the others that we ate fruits there all the time – and we should do it now, too. Fruits? Well - fortunately, B.o.B. showed his chocolate – and we threw the fruits away! Chocolate is much better than fruits, don’t you think so?
RikeH Posted Mar 21, 2012, 7:57 pm	Hello, It was a sunny day and I sat next to the crocus flowers in our garden. Then we went to a small city near to Sülfeld. RikeH went to school there many years ago. Behind me you can see the Peter-and-Paul-Church. We went inside. There were wonderful windows. I was not sure, if this man is Peter or Paul. Later we all sat in the sunshine in front of an old house. There were other nice old buildings in the city. Look – a water wheel!
RikeH Posted Mar 26, 2012, 8:00 pm	Hello friends, We went to Hamburg. It was a lovely sunny day! We went to the Binnenalster – a little lake in the center. We stopped at his nice place and had a nice photo. See – what happened? We heard a voice calling our names. It was HömpfMömpf with another TV. What a great surprise – of course we talked a lot! Then we continued our walk. There was a nice bridge. We saw this angle on the bridge. I liked this view. I saw a boat from the police. Behind me you can see the town hall. Hamburg is a beautiful town! This is a theatre.
RikeH Posted Mar 28, 2012, 8:29 pm	Hello again, We visited a smaller town today – called Bad Segeberg. First we went into a Chinese Restaurant. It was boring inside – so we played outside. Then we went to the big Lake of Segeberg. Behind me you can see the monument of an Indian. I loved the view over the Lake. We walked around the Lake. I found lovely flowers! Wow – this will be a long way! But we were really sporty! Later I relaxed in the sun. It was a wonderful sunny day! See you soon.

HömpfMömpf missed the way to his next host – and Pink Charmin is a new guest of me. We all talked a lot. Then we went inside and wanted to celebrate the arrival of the new guests. We all chose the sweets we like most. I had these chocolates.

RikeH Posted Apr 7, 2012, 11:24 pm	Hello again, Today my guests had a surprise for me. Erol and B.o.B. blindfolded me. I heard them talking. They did something, but I was not able to see it. They installed a big sign for me! I was so surprised! They gave me a big hug – I won two GoldenBears Awards! My Mum RikeH was happy and proud too, so we started a party. First we had a delicious burger and woodruff lemonade. We ate almost everything. Then we had our dessert – a yummy cake and coffee! I had a yellow lime cake. Done! We decided to celebrate for a longer time – but we went closer to each other. Look, we had some bread and Sushi. As drinks we had a nice liqueur from Estonia, with the funny name Herbert! It was a fantastic party! And I want to thank everybody who voted for me!
RikeH Posted Apr 8, 2012, 6:10 pm	Happy Easter! Today the Easter bunny was here - and I told my guests that we can search Easter eggs. I started. Maybe there will be something under our chair? I found something – great. But there should be more. I asked long hippo. He told me to look into the basket of a lovely bunny lady. Then he helped me to reach the chocolate chicken in the basket. Ooups – I was too fast! But I got the chicken. In a wonderful bouquet of flowers I found this chocolate bug. Look –I was very successful! We all had a great day!
RikeH Posted Apr 9, 2012, 6:01 pm	Happy Easter again! We went to visit my grandma. I was sure to meet the Easter bunny there. And we were lucky. Look – I talked to the Easter bunny! Then I met some of the other bunnies hanging around there. There were two friendly hens. Later we met a friendly bunny. He read something out of the nice Easter book that Noisy sent to us. Then something funny happened. My grandma has a TV named Tobbi. He was lost for two times – the second time he was lost in the Netherlands. But now he came back. He told us that he went to China – that must me the truth, because he came from China in his envelope. But look how big he is now. Maybe I will become that big someday after being in China, too? After talking to the big Tobbi I decided to talk to smaller guys. I found a nice place to spend the rest of the day!

RikeH Posted Apr 20, 2012, 10:28 am	Hello from Hamburg, We made a nice excursion today. We visited the Wallanlagen – a park in the middle of Hamburg. Here you see a beautiful building we saw from the garden. Normally here is a little river – but there was no water today. Can you see me on this little monument? This was the Asian part of the garden. Then I found some colorful tulips. On our way back home we stopped in Ahrensburg where I saw this beautiful castle.
RikeH Posted Apr 26, 2012, 5:56 pm	Hello friends, Look, what happened today. My best friend Murph arrived – and brought a treasure map with him. We all had a closer look. It was the treasure of the Zuckerhut. Zuckerhut is the name of our street. The treasure should be here. The map showed that the way starts outside next to a blue car – I found it. We climbed onto a high place to find the next point. This must be the right direction! We met two funny guys and asked them for the way. They showed us the right direction. We should meet their friends – two bugs - there. We climbed up the tree where the bugs live. We all had a look at the map. And discussed the next way. This was not the right place – but we were near to it. Then we saw the treasure chest. We had to work together – but then we reached it. We talked about opening it now – but then we took it onto the grass. We opened the chest ... ...it was full of money, gold and more! We were so excited! We went back onto our chair and had fun with our treasure.

I met some friendly ducks. I loved the view of this little river. This is the town hall. And another important building. Look – a water wheel. Then we stopped next to the church. Next to another river we stopped for a photo with all of us. More old buildings...

RikeH Posted May 6, 2012, 8:09 pm	Hello friends, Some days ago my good friend TobiHH came back home. I was so happy to see him again. The weather was nice and we went outside. Then we heard the sound of a motorbike. A nice little bunnylady - sunshine -arrived. She is the fiancé of SunnyHH– another TV who belongs to the family of RikeH. Sunshine came with a friend – Petula. I gave sunshine a big hug! Then we called Kleiner Kumpel – he is a twin of SunnyHH. Sunshine was so happy to meet him. He came with his love Kleinohrhase. We all had fun together and danced a polonaise.
RikeH Posted May 13, 2012, 12:15 am	Hello friends, My Mum has a new camera – so we made a walk and took some photos. I read this sign – it was really interesting! I loved the view over the meadow. Hopefully my friend Murph will tell me more about this mushroom! I saw some sheep. We have a long nature trail in Sülfeld. I had a rest on this big stone. Behind me you see the old school. Maybe I will be a mayor someday. Then I would work here. I like the church here.

We went onto a hill – and had a look in the theatre. In the other direction I saw a nice lake. Later we saw these nice ducks next to a little lake. Look – I loved this sculpture.

There was the Schützenfest – and the marksmen walked through the streets. It was really interesting. There was a car of the fire service at the end.
RikeH Posted May 25, 2012, 8:12 pm	Hello from the Ferry, We are on our way to Finland now. My Mum was very busy the last days, so we didn’t update our travellogs, but now it will be better, I hope.  We went from Travemünde,Germany to Helsinki, Finland with the Ferry Finnlady. The weather was wonderful, but it was very stormy that my Mum decided to take only a few  photos of me outside. She didn’t want me to fly away. Can you see my ears flying around my head? Fortunately we had a wonderful cabin with many windows. Through this one I saw the way we went. Then we all went to the window on the side of the ship. The sun was wonderful. Of course we wanted to look out of the window. Our ferry was great – look, there in front of us was a cruise ship. Our Captain did a good job, so we won the race! RikeH Posted May 26, 2012, 3:54 pm	Hello from the Finland,    Behind me you can see the Port of Helsinki – or maybe one of the Ports there.  When I looked into the other direction – there was no port anymore – really strange. We drove a while and our first stop was Hanko. A really cool name, because it is close to my last name. We saw this nice beach. Hanko has a small port. There was a small hill in the middle of the town – with a church and a red tower. I loved the tower – maybe it is a rocket? Just another nice building – the Casino. A great place to stay! But we went to another town called Turku. Here you see a church. This is the library I think, with a nice fountain.   I looked over the river and saw this big church – it was wonderful! Our hotel is next to this river!   I would have loved to drive with this train, but RikeH was too tired. Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted May 28, 2012, 12:58 pm	Hello from Turku again, We made a short walk through Turku again - and I saw this nice church from yesterday – but another side. Then we visited the archipelago. We started in a small village called Naantali and saw this nice church. There were nice old houses, too. Then we drove through the beautiful nature. We had to use some ferries – this was the biggest of all. We saw a ship of the SAR. I liked the views. But it was stormy again… On the ferry there was a flag of Finland. Of course I wanted a photo of it. The sky looked great with the clouds. And far away I saw a big ferry! Can you see it between the islands? I love it to be on ships! In the evening we went back to Turku and saw this beautiful fin. Next to it there was a big crane. And there were big ships, too. We went to the Castle, but it was closed. Greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted May 28, 2012, 2:38 pm	Hello again, The day started in a small village called Rauma. It is famous for the old part of it with many wooden houses. I think this was the town hall, but I am not sure about it. Look – this bear was so friendly! They had a nice old church. We drove to the next place Pori – and started with another church. Behind me you can see a great park! We had a nice view back to the city. There was another old building - maybe the town hall. Unfortunately I cannot read the signs here. Our last stop of the day was at the seaside.  We found this great beach. Can you see me in the Dunes? Here I am! Bye Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted May 29, 2012, 7:35 pm	Hello from Vaasa, Can you see this nice church? It is situated in Vaasa. It looked like the weather was not so nice, but wait for another photo of the church we made after visiting it. Inside it was beautiful, too. Next to the church was the town hall. Then we had a look back to the church – and the funny monument – now you can see the sunshine. I think that all cities of Finland have a water tower. Back in the hotel we decided to do something typical for Finland – and we went into the sauna. It was not hot enough for us, so I worked hard… …and put some water onto the hot stones. RikeH Posted May 30, 2012, 2:02 pm	Hello friends, It was time to explore the nature. We went into a national park called Helvetinjärvi. We saw this small stream. I sat on one of these big boulders. We went down to this beautiful lake and had a picnic there. This was the famous place for the national park – a small gorge. But I prefer this view! On our way back to the car we passed this moor. This place seems to be dangerous fur bunnies. Hopefully they only played tag. Love Dicker Kumpel

We saw this watergate, but there was no boat in it. This is typical for Finland – trees and water. We bought some chocolate. Then we went onto a hill – Harju. We had nice views over the city from the tower on the hill. Behind me you can see the church of the city. Many greetings Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted May 31, 2012, 7:25 pm	Hey hey, In the late afternoon I told my guests that I have a surprise for them. All were excited and we jumped into our travel bag. Look, what happened! RikeH met two Finish hosts – mmm105 and reissari – and all their TVs and TV-guests. So we had a big TV-meeting! To have a better view of us – we made smaller photos. It was great to meet so many new TVs, I wanted to see many of them as my guests in Sülfeld! Believe it or not - I met some TVs  which already visited me – look – Errol on my left side and B.o.B. on my right side (looking from my direction, of course!). Then we had another meeting – we went to a postcrossing-meeting. You can see the postcards of the postcrossing-members. We had so much fun talking with these friendly women. What a nice meeting! RikeH Posted Jun 2, 2012, 3:31 pm	Hello again,   We found a great place today – the fortress Olavinlinna. You can see it behind me. I felt in love with it – and wanted to have many photos of it. You will see it… In the garden around was this funny monument. We came nearer – did I told you that I love this building? This was inside the walls – the walls were very high! The view was even nicer with flowers… …or was it better with these flowers? Hey – this was the owner of the fortress, I guess. My last photo at this place. Then we drove about a dam with a forest. Our guidebook told us that it was one of the nicest places to visit. Well – I searched the nice view… It looked like a street with trees… … and some water. I preferred this view over the lake. Back in the town of Savonlinna, (where you can find the wonderful fortress) we had these two views.     It was a nice day! Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 2, 2012, 5:16 pm	A special greeting to Gittchen today, Yes, we found another church in Finland… It is the biggest wooden church of the world. We went inside, of course. (It is not always possible to go into Finish churches, because most of them are closed.) This one opened today. There were many children coming into the church. Look – the bell tower stood alone. In the afternoon we reached the national park with the Koli Mountain. We had a great view over the lakes around. The way was really steep! And we saw trees. There are lots of forests in Finland! Maybe this was a religious place in the Past? I liked this place. Believe it or not - we found snow! Can you see me with this funny guy? This is a ski region in the wintertime. Look – I would take the black way! A funny kind of tram brought us back to our car. It was very steep. Here you can see it… On our way to the next hotel we stopped and enjoyed the sunshine next to this beautiful lake. Yours Dicker Kumpel

RikeH Posted Jun 4, 2012, 4:42 pm	A great day! We saw reindeers! Well – we were really excited, so the photo was not so good. But they were really cute! We went to a national park called Hossa. This is a funny name. We started our walk next to this lake. I liked this wooden path. The nature looked different to the other parts of Finland with trees and lakes. But fortunately we saw water again! And another lake – yes, we are in Finland. Murph – I found these mushrooms – and yes – mushrooms! Do you know their name? RikeH Posted Jun 5, 2012, 4:29 pm	Hey Hey, Today we went to another National Park - Oulanka NP – and made a walk called the Bear Loop. We started at this suspension bridge. This was the view from the bridge – and you can see me at the beginning of the trip. We saw this little boat, but we didn’t have to use it. Then it was so great – we stopped next to these rapids. We went into this old mill. We had to climb up mountains and had this great view! Later we stopped at this waterfall. It was nice to sit there. But it was even better to have a picnic in the forest! The look into the other direction! This was really interesting. You see the yellow ribbon around the tree? It shows that here is the start of the zone between Finland and Russia. We were not allowed to go there. The green color on the tree showed our trail. A lovely bumble-bee. Then we were back at the beginning – can you remember this view? This time I had enough time to look into the other direction from the bridge! Yes – I am a brave bunny – I crossed this dangerous bridge! Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 6, 2012, 8:31 pm	Hello again, Another lazy day at home – this is our home… In the evening Vriendje and I had a nice time together. First we had something yummy to eat. This way it was easier to get the cheese-balls. Can you imagine what we were doing ? Yes, we sat in front of the fireplace. It is great to spend time with a friend! Yours Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 7, 2012, 8:19 am	Merry Christmas to all of you!  The Finnish people are crazy sometimes. We arrived in our new home today. And look, what we have in front of our house – a Christmas tree! This was really strange. But my Mum told me that we are in the Santa Claus Village. Santa lives here – this is amazing! Maybe we will meet him tomorrow. Who knows? But first I had to show you two funny things in our room. This is the wonderful lamp! We had fun playing on it. Now I believe that the Christmas Time comes nearer! Hohoho Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 8, 2012, 7:17 pm	Hello from the Santa Claus Village! We saw these signs today – and wanted to meet Santa Claus. But can you imagine it? Santa Claus didn’t allow making own photos – and wanted to have a lot of money for the photos taken by his gnomes… So we decided that this Santa Claus is nice, too. There were an ice bear and some gnomes next to him. There were signs showing the distance to some cities around the world. And here is Santa Claus’ Main Post Office – he has to write many letters each year. This girl helps him. I was really in the North now. I crossed the Arctic Circle. Have you ever done it? It is even written in my language here! Later I saw this funny tent. There was a friendly reindeer with a sleigh. I really loved it here in the North, but tomorrow we will be back in the South and visit Helsinki. Love Dicker Kumpel
RikeH Posted Jun 14, 2012, 8:47 pm	Hello from Helsinki, Yes, we visited Helsinki today.  Behind me you can see the cathedral. I went inside. Another nice view of the cathedral. I liked this nice fountain.   This is the market hall – it is too long to get a photo of the whole building. There were some ferries in the Port. This is a Russian church – I loved the gold on the roof. I saw some people making music. There were some nice buildings in this part of the city. Near to the water there was another beautiful building. Look – we made a trip with a bus – and I learnt a lot about Helsinki. These animals looked strange! This is a wonderful church – inside a rock – really strange. In front of a museum there was this moose.
