Hello Wendy and Tristan,
I had a nice rest yesterday and that gave me a chance to get to know Burrimul Memu , today Audrey and Ailsa decided to take us both out for the afternoon. This is us in the car We decided to go to the country park, it's not too far away so it didn't take too long This is a view from the car park, Audrey said you can normally see more, but it was quite misty in the distance, so maybe we can come back and see it again when the weather is better. We took a walk through the fields, but we think the cows were in the field behind the forest and we needed our wellies to go any further because the ground was kind of mucky and smelly! While we were there I got to climb a tree, I got stuck and Burrimul Memu had to climb up and get me At the top of the hill there is a little monument that tells you how far away from other towns we are, so I had a little rest on it. After all that walking we were really tired, so we were really pleased to have a rest After we rested, we ran round the corner and we saw the playpark so we were allowed to have some fun. I climbed up the stairs and then went down the slide We decided to share the swing - just incase I fell off We had good fun on the seesaw too, and after that we had a short rest in the crawl tunnel The last thing we played on was the monkey bars - look I did it all by myself Well that was a really fun day today, but I am really tired now, so I will say goodbye just now and send you lots of love Jeniqua xx |

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the silence, but it has been a bit mad here, there is a new addition to the human family, she is called Ella and she is so tiny becasue she was born to early, but she is very well now, and could be home soon. Anyway here is what we have been up to. We were told that a new Toyvoyager had arrived, he is having a rest just now because he came all the way from America, he is called Bonz, thats a strange name, but I'm sure he will be very nice. We decided to make him some cakes to welcome him. Here we are melting the chocolate, it took a lot of strength to stir out all those lumps to make smooth melted chocolate, we took turns and we managed it very well. We added lots of crispies and mixed them carefully to cover them in chocolate, I must admit that I did eat quite a lot of them in the process, but I dont think anyone noticed We took turns to fill up the little cake cases and made lots of crispie cakes, we might even have enough left to give some to our hosts too, after we have a Toyvoyager party first of course! Anyway we will have to let these set, then they will be ready. Cant wait to meet Bonz Anyway I will write again soon Lots of love and hugs Jeniqua xxx |

Hello Again,
Just to let you know, we met Bonz tonight, he is a little scary, and we stuck close together. We decided that we would just have our crispie cake and go up to bed He is very nice, and he did try very hard to be our friend, but he just looks a bit scary, to be honest! Anyway will write again soon Loads of love Jeniqua xxx |

We went on a small trip to the supermarket today - the manager wouldnt let us take photos inside so all I can show you is outside, where we waited in the car
As a little goodbye my host got me lots of cookies, I had lots of different flavours and they were so tasty, I had to have a lie down after eating all of them, Scottish cookies were so good but I cant wait to try cookies from Australia now. |

Hi Everyone
Well here I am in Australia! It was a very fast trip! I wanted to let you know that I am safe and well. All the bears in the Boneyard are very friendly, even if they do look a little bit scary. It has taught me that you shouldn't judge people or bears by the way they look. There is another TV here at the moment. He comes from West Virginia in the USA and his name is Apollo. Here I am climbing out of my flight bag. We posed for a portrait together. Because I am so little I got to sit on Lestat's knee. Lestat De Bearcourt played me a song on the piano to welcome me to Australia! He plays very well. Then Daisy took me in to meet her dog Millie. Millie is very old and very gentle. Daisy said Millie sleeps all the time. I might have a little snooze with her later if I get tired. We are going to go to the shops later and buy some Australian biscuits (cookies) I can't wait to taste them! Well I had better go and get settled in, I will write again soon. Love Jeniqua |

Hi There!
Well today I went rollerskating! It was lots of fun! My little legs were too short to fit into a pair of skates so I just jumped in one skate and Daisy pushed me around weeeee!!!! Then one of the skaters took me for a ride on their skates! It was very exciting!!! Skating is very hungry work! On the way home Daisy bought me some Tim Tams. They are Australian biscuits and they are super yummy! I wish I could sneak some home in my envelope! Then I had a chat with Daisy's pet cockatoo. His name is Mr Beaky Featherpants. He is a native Australian bird and you will never believe it, but he can talk! I sat with him for a long time and he told me all about living in Australia. I told him he should get a pink hat like mine. Well that's about all for now. I will write again soon! Love Jeniqua |

Hi it's me again!
Last night we had a big party at Daisy's house! We went crazy! It was loads of fun! First we played a game called roulette. We didn't play for money though, I wish we had because I won! We played for things called chips. I won lots of chips. They didn't taste very good though. Maybe we should have played for cookies? Watching the ball spin around the roulette wheel looked like fun, so I jumped on and had a spin myself! Don't worry, I didn't get sick Then we played hide and seek! hehehe it took Daisy ages to find me! Then Apollo and I played some songs on the piano. We must have been playing very loudly because the neighbours called out and told us to keep the noise down! How rude! Then Apollo and I played a game of cards. We got thirsty so we looked around for something to drink. We found some pretty green bottles and opened them, they had something in them called Retsina. The next thing we knew it was morning! Well, I have a bit of a headache today. I think I'll go and have a little rest. I will write again soon. Love Jeniqua |

Hello from Australia!
Today Daisy took me bird watching at the ponds across the road from her house. I saw lots of birds that we don't have where I come from. Here I am sitting on a rock taking in the scenery. The birds behind me are purple swamp hens. These birds get a bit scary. Sometimes they attack people (and teddies) if you get to close to their nests. Arghh!!!!! Here they come!!! There is a huge gold fish in the ponds! I think someone must have let their pet fish loose and it has gone native! It's a shame you can't see it in the photo, but he wouldn't stay still long enough. Here I am with Apollo, we're playing hide and seek with Daisy. It took her ages to find us hehehehe The birds behind me are called Australian Ibis. They have humungus beaks! They also steal food! They are very cheeky birds. The white ones are Australian Ibis, the other one is a purple swamp hen. These birds are called Galahs. They have pink on them just like me! I am having a lovely time and will write again soon! Love Jeniqua x |

Greetings from Australia!
Today was a very special day in Australia. It was ANZAC Day. ANZAC Day is the day when Australian's remember all the service men and women who served in all the wars since World War One. If a soldier can't march then their descendants can march in their place. Daisy was marching in the parade so I went along to watch. We all had flags to wave! My arms got really tired from waving my flag! Love Jeniqua x |

Hi Everyone!
Well, it's time to leave Australia. I have had lots of fun visiting Daisy and the Boneyard Bears. On our last day out we went to visit historic Campbelltown. Campbelltown is one of the oldest cities in Australia. Below is a little cottage called Emily Cottage. Locals say that it is haunted and that sometimes you can see a little girl in the upstairs window! Spooky! Here I am in front of Quondong House (they have some very funny names here) Then we went to see a really modern looking building which is an arts centre. I think I like the old buildings better. Well it's been lots of fun! Mwah! Jeniqua x |
