pkboo Posted Mar 1, 2008, 2:49 pm	I went to the zoo today. I saw one of my relatives the Bengal Tiger. He was to busy giving himself a bath to say hi. I saw a Siamang wich is a type of monkey. He was a little busy eating his orange. I also a Cuban Crocodile. He sure looks mean. We were going to to the wildlife show but then it started to rain and we couldn't see it because it was an outside show. So we waited under some cover until it stopped raining then we went home.

Kaiwiopele Posted May 6, 2008, 4:34 am	Hello! I made it to Leesburg, Virginia today. I surprised kaiwiopele and she was glad to meet me. She was out running errands when she picked me up from the Post Office so  I got to travel around a bit today. Here is me when I just came out of my traveling box, sitting on the steering wheel. Too little for the seatbelt so I sat here instead. Then we went to the bank. Then across the road to Michaels to find some stuff for a swap-bot swap. We love stickers! Ready to party now... Pretending to be a fish, lol. Me with our purchases. That was it for today time to get some sleep and get ready for tomorrow. : )
Kaiwiopele Posted May 7, 2008, 11:41 am	Yesterday we had a lazy day around the house while kaiwiopele was studying for her exams. While I was there I got to meet Wolfgang, the family dog. He is scared of cameras though (for some odd reason) so we had to be sneaky and take a picture of us together with the web camera so he wouldn't know it was getting taken! Later in the day we drove to Fairfax, Virginia to the dorm and while we were getting some dinner we stopped by the campus fountain.
Kaiwiopele Posted May 9, 2008, 8:10 pm	Hello!   Yesterday I got to meet some of the other animals that live at Kaiwiopele's dorm. They are all very nice. This is Mr.Turtle, he has been with Kaiwiopele since she was born. They are turning 22 next week. : ) Today I got to go to work at a chocolate store. We made some very yummy looking strawberries dipped in chocolate. Then I saw a delicious looking drink so I had to take a sip only to find out it's fake!!!  We split a real one later though and it was sooooo good.
Kaiwiopele Posted May 15, 2008, 2:33 pm	Yesterday was kaiwiopele's birthday. We took some pictures but we haven't uploaded them yet. But we did some stuff the other day, First I we studied for a final. Then I played some games online at Neopets while she packed up the rest of her room. : )
Kaiwiopele Posted May 24, 2008, 2:37 am	Hello! Sorry it took so long to update. We've been busy moving out of the dorm and starting summer classes. Last week was kaiwiopele's birthday. Her sister had fun and decorated her car! Then later in the week I decided to climb a tree for some fun. Today was a lot of fun, I got to meet Logan. He is almost 6 months old and Kaiwiopele's nephew. That was pretty fun but then he tried to slobber on me. He is starting to have a tooth grow in. We are expecting another TV to get here soon, when that happens the three of us are going to take a trip down into washington, D.C. exciting!

Kaiwiopele Posted Aug 25, 2008, 2:59 am	Here I am with Trafalgar and Sebastiaan. Sebastiaan just arrived and is lucky because on Sunday we all are going to Florida! Here I am gazing out of a very tall building into the wide open surroundings, it is very fun to be able to see so far. Here is the three of us again looking down from the high spot. 24.Aug.2008 We flew down to Florida, we are having minor difficulties with the camera but we will update soon when we can get the pictures off of the memory stick of our flight down to Florida.
Kaiwiopele Posted Sep 1, 2008, 5:34 pm	The last few days have been busy for us. Saturday we went out on the seadoo and saw the ocean. Here I am facing Pensacola Beach. The watertower is painted like a beach ball. : ) Here I am with some big 'ole jellyfish in the background. Later, and closer to shore, I went swimming. Here we are sitting on the seadoo! Later we went to Fort Pickins, which is on Pensacola Beach. The fort protected the coastline from foreign invasion for almost 100 years. It was completed in 1834 and was in use until 1947. One of the most famous prisoners the fort held was Geronimo, an Apache war leader. this was around 1887. Looking out from the inside. Salt! Part of the Fort's defense.
Kaiwiopele Posted Sep 1, 2008, 5:57 pm	For the past few days Hurricane Gustov has been in the Gulf of Mexico and today it made landfall in Louisiana. This part of Florida is a few hours away from the area of landfall but we still are getting a good bit of rain, lots of wind and the water in the Gulf and in the Bay is very churned up. So when we woke up this morning to discover the power had gone off we took a little trip downtown to see the Bay. Here is at a boat launch, the water is quite a bit higher than normal. the dock is even underwater! Usually at this little stop next to the 3 mile long bridge this ledge is 3 to 5 feet above the water level...not today! This picture shows some of the winds we are getting. Here is a big coastguard ship that was docked up downtown. I think it normally repairs buoys and the like. Here is another picture of the waves crashing These are just of the Bay area, we are sure that if we actually had gone out to see the Gulf the waves are a LOT bigger and more numerous. *Due to the weather and the raining all the pictures had all three TVs I'm hosting in them and so each TV is going to have the same post for this. Hope no one minds, we were just trying not to get too wet for us or the camera!*
