Yeey, I have been just informed that I will be leaving Slovenia soon. My owner has find me a nice host and is soon going to send me to Malaysia to meet Aliah. I am looking forward to travel by plane, as I have never travelled with plane before. Can you imagine how anxious I am? I have heard there is no hole at airplane, so I am not sure where I will be able to hide. But I was told that the airplane ride is great....so I can't wait to experience it. Today I had been having fun with my toyvoyager friend Amara, we've been discussing how it shall be to see the world.  She has travelled a bit allready, so she has told me some of her experiences to keep me calm. We also played hide and seek, but I was found eventually, even tough my hiding place was really good.
But the day hasn't been all great, I have also received some lectures about behaving myself while I am away. But do not worry I will try to be quiet as a mouse....

At last I am moving. Today I have had my first trainride to Ljubljana. Unfortunately me and Amara had to stay in nikar's backpack, because the train was soo full. But anything is ok, just so that I can begin my traveling. I am now already on my way to Aliah to Malaysia and I can't wait to arrive there to get out of my tinny bag. I don't know why people think we mouses don't need so much space. So that postlady gave me a really small bag and I am all stuffed in it... I hate it. Hopefully I will soon reach my destination, because I need air and some light.
Well see you soon Aliah and bye bye Slovenia. :)

Independence Square was the site where the Malaysian flag was hoisted on 31st August 1957 when independence was gained from the British Empire. Across the street I also can see the Sultan Abdul Samad Building which used to house the government offices back then.

Today I came to CATHEDRALE D'IMAGES, to Baux de Provence.

It's an old limestone quarry where each year (from april to december) you can see a big show inside, with sounds and lights.

The last year, the show was about the painter Cezanne (and there was a lot of people !!!) This year the show is about the city Venezia...

Can you realize that the quarry is 20 meters high ! It's dark inside... but there are a lot of images and music about Venezia, Italy !

I really liked this trip today !

Today I visit Avignon, the city of Popes... I walk a lot to make this photos.

I went to the Castel of Popes (it's so big !!!), and i saw the broken bridge, called "Pont d'Avignon" (but the real name is "Pont St Benezet"). I saw the big river Rhône (that finish in the Mediterranean sea).

I drank a Perrier with lemon because it was too hot !

After I went to the cinema to see the last Harry Potter (it was not so good...)

Today I traveled by train to go to Arles where live Florazoom and Fusco. It's a little city in Camargue, situated on the Rhône's delta.

I met two cats in Avignon: Harpo and Chatouille. We made some photos before my departure.

Soon more photos about my holidays in the city.

Hello ..again ..I arrived safely in the Netherlands and was welcomed with a PARTY.!!
Of course I thought the party was all for me cause I am an important mouse anyway.Later one I found out a couple of others came too and some one was about to travel .
So we combined the party..

I met Cool Jules who is now flying to Malaysia, Sabrina Doll who was just home form being with Little Wendy and she was exhausted form that hospital visit.Shirley Sheep who was upset cause Cool Jules was leaving. And we met a  doll called Teran(private voyager  from the USA)

After the party we all talked some more in our BIG bed.
Interesting animals are in this home as well. A fine soft purring black and white cat that does not kill mice, so I am told ..photo's proof I am still alive and Shirley was not scared either.

Today it is National Holiday of Germany and most people don't go to work on that day. There are some celebrations, that you can watch in tv (television, not in a toyvoyager :) ). But the people in Germany don't really celebrate on that day.
Petra and her family decided to go shopping in the Alsace, which is in France.

I'm really sorry, that we took no photo of our  - Shirley Sheep's and my- arrivel, but we just had been too busy with getting to know each other. I met Small Fry again. We are getting really good friends: a sheep, a fish and a mouse. :)

Of course it was a little crowded by us toyvoyagers, but we tried to keep silent.

The German Winegate is a building of the worst time in German history. It was built in 1936 officially to make the wineyards of the Palatinate more famous. Of course it was also a provocation against France, because the border is very close (only 1km to Wissembourg). The gate is the end point of the Palatinate Wine Route.
(I can't put this online without telling, that I'm so sorry for everything that happened during these years.)

We visited the Vogtsbauernhof in Gutach, which is an Open Air Museum. Here is what we read in a folder:

Where the magnificently preserved Vogtsbauernhof farmstead once stood alone in the open fields, it is now joined by numerous historical buildings from various regions of the Black Forest to breathe life into times of long ago. Six fully furnished farmhouses, the day labourer's cottage and 15 outbuildings, such as mills, sawmills, barns, stalls, a chapel, storehouses and granny house (Leibgedinghaus), invite to take a stroll and discover the multifaceted aspects of the Black Forest way of life.

Today we visited Bruchsal's baroque palace and garden.

In the palace garden you find several statues. Four of them show the four elements water, fire, earth and air and other four of them show the four seasons spring, summer, autumn, winter. Here you see me in front of the statue winter.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747103_c13872427a.jpg

I wanted to run and not to be carried around, so Petra set me on the balustrade. Here you see the back side of the palace.

http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747334_5de273a28a.jpg?r=360

The tower, that you see here, belongs to the catholic church, but it is located next to the parish hall. The church is the building with the three dormer windows. It is the church, where my hosts go to the service on Sunday mornings.

This shows the front part of the palace.

And here you see me in front of the county court.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747375_a842907241.jpg?r=360

I wanted to see, what time we had and tried to find it out on the sun dial, but we had too few sun for it.

This building is called Belvedere. It was a former hunting lodge and is now used for several feast and open air theatre. Behind this building is a big grammar school. The garden around the Belvedere is also used as schoolyard.

http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747190_05a36c457b.jpg?r=360

This building is called St.Paulusheim and is a private catholic grammar school founded by patres of the Pallotti order. Until today only Christians can go in this school. Each morning they say a prayer together with the teacher and there is a lot of extra christian program.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747192_723282c485.jpg?r=360

We found this funny coloured snake and wanted to play on it. It is near by the baroque church St.Peter. It was kind of playing hide and seek with our hosts.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747419_5f3402d40b.jpg?r=360

This is the baroque church St.Peter. It is all baroque in the inside too, but unhappily it was closed.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747415_44d1f25920.jpg?r=360

This street with the statues is opposite to the church. In the far you see the school St.Paulusheim again.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747207_709d996774.jpg?r=360

Next to the baroque church is the graveyard of Bruchsal. For old people it isn't easy to walk there, because there the ways ascend steeply. But you have a beautiful view to the church and there are wonderful trees.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747428_38af1ad67a.jpg?r=360

Here you see a little view over Bruchsal. The building on the left side is the house Sankta Maria, which we mentioned before. The left tower is the tower of the Stadtkirche (city church) and the tower in the middle is the tower of the church of the palace.
http://static.zooomr.com/images/3747225_23c079b890.jpg?r=360
