I arrived in Sülfeld. Dicker Kumpel and Stoker gave me a warm welcome. Then Dicker Kumpel's girl-friend arrived with a big chocolate Egg with a suprise in it. We had fun opening it.

I went to Bad Segeberg and walked along the big lake there.
It was nice there and I found some flowers.

I went into a nice deer park today. First, we met a wolf.
Nice flowers…
We fed some friendly deer.
Can you see me?
Storks.
This car brought turf out of the swamp.
More deer.
Other animals.
At the end I saw wolves – that was amazing.

I spend some days in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at the moment. Today I went to Bad Doberan. I started with the monastery.
Sadly this part was a ruin.
This looked better.
Then I saw the Münster from a distance.
It looked great. The people call it Perle der norddeutschen Backsteingotik. A funny name.
Surely I went into it.
This is the whole area.
I liked the altar with the huge crucifix.
This was the bone house.
A beautiful church.
We left through this gate and went into the town.
There was a park called Kamp with two nice pavilions.
Great – this is Molli an old train.
On the way back, I saw more beautiful houses.

today we went to Kühlungsborn at the Baltic Sea. This is the town hall.
There were more beautiful buildings.
A fish spa – this is funny.
Can you see us?
What a nice pier.
And a wonderful beach.
I walked onto the pier.
Great views in all directions.
This was a watch tower in the time of the GDR.
I had a great day here.

Today I explored Rerik. I walked to the beach.
I had to use these stairs.
This looked beautiful.
There were some waves on the Baltic Sea.
A Castle only for me!
Oh – another pier...
Then I went to the Salzhaff – you can see sailing ships there.
This was the Haffplatz with many restaurants and souvenir shops.
And funny wooden character.
A beautiful painting.
On the way back to our holiday home I visited the Church of Rerik.
I really liked the church.

We are in a new holiday house and have a nice view from the terrace.
We went into the city centre and saw the turning bridge.
This is the abbey of Malchow.
On the hour the bridge will open for the boats.
There were the waiting boats.
The bridge moved.
Here it is from the other direction.

Now the bridge is closed again.

Today we took a walk to the abbey of Malchow. First, we stopped next to the townhall.

We had a nice view over Malchow.
What a nice church.
There was a small garden next to it.
I like it here.

Then we walked back and had to go over this dam. It is 250 m long.
It is a wonderful region!

We went into the Bärenpark Müritz. I learnt a lot about this place: Since 2006, the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz has provided mistreated and neglected bears with a safe and natural home. At the time of writing, 17 brown bears live in the open-air enclosure, which covers an area of some 16 hectares. We saw many of the bears.
It was so interesting!
Look – they are very tall!
Bears were known by the Indians knew bears, too.
We went into a wigwam.
A bear in the sky!
And other bears in the human world.
Bears sleep in cages like this.
A nice bridge – what will I see there?
Two bears in a lake – this was amazing!
Normally I only show photos with me on it – but you have to see the bears nearer.

Our last two bears – one in the lake and one under the tree. I really liked it here.

We went to the agroneum, an interesting museum. First we went to the area with a smithy, a wheelwright, Dutch windmill, reciprocating saws, rope yard and a light railway round off the museum collection.
I loved the old planes.
We saw a water wheel and some old cars.
A coach and homemade tractors.
And homemade lawn-mower.
Another nice plane.
Then I went to the windmill.
A beautiful house.
And more machines.

The agroneum has a second part. There were old houses, where I could see how people lived in the Past.
I went into this house. It was interesting!

They worked with milk here.

They baked bread in this small house.
It must have been a hard time to live. But now it was time for fun.

The weather was wonderful – it was Whitsunday – so we decided to go to an open-air concert.
We sat under a nice maypole.
I liked this band – Stormarn Magic most. They had the best music and young people with flags.
After two hours the concert was over.

Today I walked through Sülfeld. There was a small park
I liked the nice lake.

They have a beautiful church here.
It is more than 800 years old.
The old pharmacy with beautiful rhododendrons.

Today I visited Bad Oldesloe, a small town near to Sülfeld. There are some old houses – this is one of it.
And a small fountain – good for this hot June here.
A nice church.
I like the river and the houses.

It was time to visit Hamburg – a beautiful city in the North of Germany. This is the town hall.
There was art in front of it.
I went into the town hall and found a golden post box.
Inside the town hall.
On the other side of the town hall i a nice fountain.
These houses are called the Alsterarkaden.
A tourist boat is coming.
I liked this view.

My last stop was next to the Alster. Hamburg is beautiful!

Later I went to the Port of Hamburg – my first stop was at the Landungsbrücken.
I had nice views in all directions.
Far behind me you can see the Elbphilharmonie. I will visit it.

This is the Rickmer Rickmers – a beautiful sailingship.
It is great to be here.
I want to take a trip on a boat like this.
This is a part of the new Speicherstadt.
Then we went onto the Plaza of the Elbphilharmonie. You can walk around an see a lot of the Port and the Speicherstadt.
I saw the TV-tower and the church spires of Hamburg.
This church is famous – called Michel.

Three days ago it was Dicker Kumpel’s birthday. We sang a song for him.
It is the World Cup of soccer. So we celebrated the birthday in German colors.
These muffins were self-colored – great!
Now I am on holiday on Fehmarn Island. We live on this boat.
From the top there were nice views in all directions.
Time to relax.

Today we drove to Orth, a village in Western Fehmarn. This sign was funny.
A beautiful old building.
Oh - a pirate.
I love lighthouses.
They have a big marina. But our marina has more places for yachts.
I saw some kite-surfers.
A beautiful flower.
Kaiser Wilhelm was here, I think.
We walked along the long harbor.
It is a nice place here.
Back home I met a gull and talked to her.

There are some high banks on Fehmarn – I visited one of it.
Look - the Fehmarnsundbrücke.
It’s great to be on the beach.
Nice – but not so high.
I found a tower of stones and relaxed.

We are in Puttgarden. Big ferries start here to Denmark. We should have a good view at the end of the mole.
There were the ferries – hopefully one of it will start soon.
There is one - the Deutschland.
It is so big – and go through the small harbor gate.
Look – the small white dot in the distance. It is a ferry from the other direction.
It comes closer.
Now we will go back – it is very windy.
Maybe you can see it in the waves.
We made it to the mainland.
This is not another ship, but a shop. Scandinavian buy alcohol there on their way home.
No photos from inside, but it was really interesting. And I liked this great can!
