Hi everyone!
When my dear human passed away, I decided: I want to follow in her footsteps! She loved theatre, so my first travel was to New York. And off course I saw some great perfomances! Now I'd like to visit London and see a West End show, Indonesia, (where my human once was), France (where she was born) and Belgium (where she lived for some time). So if you can fulfill one of my life missions: please let me know! |

This picture was taken in October last year, when I visisted my dear friend Daryl Sherman. She is a well known cabaret entertainer. I'm so proud to be in this pic with her! I'm in the yellow circle. |

Hello there!
We received a package today and we all were very curious. Dutchy the Lion used his claws to open the box and out came a braid and an arm... |
Emjay Posted Feb 13, 2015, 3:34 pm |
Attached to it was a little girl! She's called Minnilotta. She told us about her adventures and shared her chocolate with us. It's good to have a new friend! |
Emjay Posted Feb 14, 2015, 10:39 am |
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! We had little heartshaped candy with a word on it. Mine said: "Love". Isn't that appropriate? |

Hello!
I have arrived at my new host's house safe and sound. My host says thank you for sending the lovely postcard, Dutch shoes and candy! I may have sampled a few of the chocolate eggs while waiting on my envelope to be opened! |
Xadrian xadriankruez@hotmail.com Posted May 4, 2015, 10:34 pm |
Greetings from London!
I decided to forgo posing for any pictures on the train, it was too cramped and the bad odor made me feel too unwell to have a smile on my face! Pew! When we arrived we decided to have lunch at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Yes, this was a Forrest Gump themed restaurant. This was a sign on our table that we flipped back and forth when we wanted service. After we enjoyed our seafood lunch we went out exploring. Who is this strange guy?! We saw him outside of the Ripley's Believe it or not museum. While we explored we visited the Picadilly Circus area and saw some of the famous theaters for the west end shows. Have you seen Trafalgar square before? It is a huge gathering place for many buskars and protestors. It features many different statues of famous people but is best known for the tall statue called Nelson's Column. It's waaaay up there! Many like to climb these lions and get their picture taken but I was too scared... A new statue just unveiled a few months ago. This one is by artist Haans Haacke. A skeletal horse with an electronic band around his leg quoting stock market figures. Goodness what a busy day! |

Hello!
I thought you might want to see some of the murals surrounding the local skate park in town. See the red arrow, we are right there! Hatfield isn't a very big town! This weekend we are going bird handling, it should be interesting! |

The day is quite rainy, but we have made a short walk in the city center.
We have found an ancient amphitheater, built in 117-138 d.C. but fully explored only in 1915. Unfortunately, the site was closed because, for rude people's fault, it can be visited only in determined hours. |

We ate in our hotel. There was a rich buffet dinner, and we tasted many things :-p |
goldmoon Posted Jun 2, 2016, 1:01 pm |
Today, with the Photoclub, we visited the Radio Astronomical Station of Medicina (about 30 kms from Bologna). It is an observatory managed by INAF (National Institute for Astrophysics).
It hosts two radio telescopes: the first Italian radio telescope (called "the Northern Cross", owned by the University of Bologna) and a 32-m parabolic dish. It was so exciting! The dish turns to collect the radio frequency. |
