I thought Aaron was a cute guy. And he thought the same of me. Being a cute GIRL, I mean After some time he asked me for a date. At Halloween we went to the Tunnel of Terror |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:27 pm |
Ooooo, that was scary! After Halloween we celebrated St. Nicolas Day at December 5th. Aaron gave me a chocolate heart and he said: "This is a sweet heart for my sweetheart". Isn't that sweet? <3 I gave him a chocolate soccer ball, cause he loves soccer a lot! Afterwards we played a little soccer ourselves. |

Here we are at the garden center to choose a Christmas Tree. We choose number 127. |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:33 pm |
When we were at home we decorated the tree together. Soooo romantic! |

That was our LOVE story And now I'll tell you about a great event we visited some time ago: the first night of "The Nutcracker" ballet on ice! Here we are waiting for the tram to take us to the theatre. |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:42 pm |
In front of the Luxor theatre |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:45 pm |
When we entered the theatre, we felt like VIP's! Behind us you can see the red carpet and a choir singing Christmas carols. |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:49 pm |
The theatre was dressed up in Christmas spirit. I loved it! And there was also a mini theatre, ToyVoyager size. |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:52 pm |
The ballet was beautiful! Even Aaron, who's not that into ballet, was impressed. We were not allowed to take photographs during the performance, so this one was taken afterwards. |
Emjay Posted Dec 26, 2015, 2:58 pm |
Before we walked to the tram stop, we took a few pictures of Rotterdam by night. The bridge is called Erasmus Bridge', also known as "The Swan". It's huge! |

My sweet boyfriend, Aaron, gave me flowers on Valentine's Day. He picked them himself.
I had a present for him too: a big heart filled with strawberries! We ate them with a lot of whipped cream. Yummy! Emjay had a surprise for us too: a big chunk of chocolate cake! Wow, I'm soooo full now! |

I have exciting news! Aaron and I are going to Beijing, Aaron's hometown! I'll meet his mum. I'm soooo nervous! But Aaron tells me she's very nice and she will love me.
Our friends organized a farewell party for us. They gave us a big bowl of "drop", a Dutch sweet. Tastes very salty! I'm getting a bit emotional. I'll miss my friends and Emjay But... I'll be together with Aaron ! Aaron showed my new hometown to me. He pointed out where we will live on the map. And he showed me pictures my new mum took of Slowly-Slowly in Beijing. It's a beautiful city. I'm sure I will feel at home. As long as I'm together with Aaron. Okay, everyone, we'll leaving tomorrow! Thanks for reading my posts. Next time you see me in Beijing! Big kiss, Millie |

Hello Emjay,
Aaron and I have arrived in Beijing safely. Since it's a bit cold on the way, I put on the sweater you made me. Today is the second day of Qingming holiday, it's a bit like the Hollaween we have but without the costome and treat or trick parts. Qing Ming is traditionally a time for families to travel to the family tomb to sweep, clean and place flowers or other memorials on the grave site. A day of commemoration for dead ancestors, Qing Ming also celebrates the oncoming spring. So it’s a day about remembering the past but also celebrating the future. So Aaron and I decided to go to a temple and watch flowers blossom! According to a stele at the temple, Dajue Temple was first built in 1068 during the Liao Dynasty and called Qingshui Temple, after a stream that ran through the temple grounds. It was later renamed Lingquan Temple, and after being rebuilt in 1428 during the Ming Dynasty, was given its present name, "Dajue Temple."The temple went through renovations in 1720 and 1747. It contains three main halls, a gate, a pagoda and various side halls. Here are the photos we took. |

-Aha! Let's unpack it. -This is a luggage? Isn't it? -I think so, it says L U G G A G E..look how big it is! -Right, let's see if there is anything left in the box. ... -Nothing. Deep and dark like Mariana Trench -Well, let me help you get rid of this plastic bag, Mr. Luggage. Umm..a bit tough... -Haha hold on Aaron. You need skills using a scissor which is taller than you... done! Wait! I'm stucked! -Calm down. I'm coming!!! -Wow, it's a sky blue luggage! So pretty! -You know you are prettier Millie. |

Spring is short in Beijing, but we still catched its beautiful tail. |

Greetings from Norway!! |
goomymia Posted Aug 14, 2016, 4:26 pm |
Mia made us breakfast today. Norway is quite popular with its high living expenses, but it is affordable if you cook by yourself. Mia barely went to the kitchen back in Beijing when she was living with her parents. She is a lazy girl, shhhhh..don't tell her. Look, she did pretty well this time, didn't she? After the breakfast, we checked the route again of today's little trip to the hill. It's amazing you could even tell when the bus will come by Google Map, it's blocked in China like Facebook, Instagram Twitter and Youtube, what a shame! |
goomymia Posted Aug 14, 2016, 5:06 pm |
The purpose of today's trip is actually taking a look at two potential houses in private market. Because it will be terribly noisy in the midnight, yes, in the midnight! Those students are so crazy about party and they are over loud almost every night just right outside Mia's window. Last night they finished at 3am! 3 am!.
We've been told that the winter here is always snowy which is fabulous but it will be very slippery on the street, and if you come visit you will find out there are so many ups and downs in this town! So we decided to move somewhere closer to the Dragvoll campus. We looked on Finn.no, which is also amazing you could get free furnitures through this site, found these two houses and luckily made appointments with landlord! You see how pretty the view is out side the No.1 house!! And Mia can only walk through a lovely wheat field to go to school!! The more amazing thing is she can see her home just life her head to the east sky when she is at school!! But unfortunately a boy gets the priority to move in the house, he contacted the landlord just a little bit earlier than us |
goomymia Posted Aug 14, 2016, 5:28 pm |
On the way to the next house, we passed by the campus. It's about a week before the semester starts so we didn't see any students.
The No.2 house is much bigger than the first one, nice and quiet community. An 80 years old couple live in the house, this landlord seems much more professional, he even printed out the contract and house rules ..which is in Norsk. Thanks to bing translator, we could translate it immediately by taking a photo. The sky got clear when we were heading back to Moholt |
