today was the most exciting day of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know from where to start to tell you, what happened!!!?!?!?
untill today I was quite hopeless hidden in ipue's cellar among any unneeded stuff........... but the same day when yashila_81 and lili_6789 came to ipue's house, and as yashila_81 and his dad got busy in the garage his mom got busy with lili_6789 in the cellar....
AND believe it, WHAT DID THEY FOUND THERE????????????????!?!?!?!!???????????????!?!??!!!?
MEEEE - MEEEE - MEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I got sooooo happy to be given a real home again!!
and more than this I got thrilled when I met my sister ZIZZI_Zebra just there!!!! and even when they told me about CHRISSI, who exactly looks like meeeeeeeeeee, and besides ZIZZI has in her life-missions to meet her, as she was so homesick because of my absence............... Oh what a glorious day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so surprised when I heard 10 days ago they had still SNOW in tabriz!!?! (I never had seen snow in my life!!!?!) and so I asked to go out in the yard because it was a sunny day and it feels good after so long days downstairs in the cellar.... !!!! so we had a great photo-session and (you know, I'm a bit shy) I got real friend with Possy & Crossy and the guest Mr. F.M.Bear, as I heard who will leave soon...........

I understand nothing... one day we got friends and the next day we had to get separed????????????? boah... things happen............... but I get a bit sad about...............................
and so we had today the GOODBYE-PARTY for F.M.Baer who's going happily back to his mom after 9 month in IRAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?! accompanied by POSSY & CROSSY, as dear turtles has a great adventure in advance and proposed to take them with her, too!!!!!!!!!!
honestly I'm a bit jalous............... only a bit... but jalous....................
first everybody was helping them to make their suitcases!
then the party - it was great, we even had live-music!!!!!!!!!!!!
and now all my very best, dear FMBaer for your further life - and you, dear POSSY & CROSSY, take care, so we'll see us again back home in the near future!!!!

today it was my very first time in one of ipue's gatherings!!! we were allowed to have a glance at her collegues-gathering.. and as one of their oldest friends recently moved to tehran, even last gathering had been at her home before leaving tabriz... so they decided to give a souvenir from all her tabriz-friends to her.. well, it wasn't our taste, but ZIZZI told me, we have to look at this via IR-glasses, ppl here adore the IR-handmade-silver stuff!!!!!!!!!!! and so it was an excellent gift for her!!! pure silver!!!!!!!!!!!!
and it was only me and ZORRO from the TVs had been at the gathering, as the others left yesterday..........

ipue told us, she proposed dear lili_6789 to make some clothes for her to be more comfortable in the last months of her pregnancy... her mom was so kind to send the fabrics!! and so we all helped a lot, and dear lili with her lovely smile always she cheers ppl up and so we were relaxed enough to finish every day one!!!!!! we are so proud - it was my very first time to help in sewing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the yard is so beautiful - a real *Easter-garden*!!!! ipuenktchen told us since long time ago it hadn't be like THIS year that all the flowers are blooming and the trees are in flower just in time for EASTER!!!!

although I'm a boy today in the afternoon we had been allowed to come with ipue at the Foreign Women's Easter-gathering!!!!!! like usual there had been lots of goodies... dangerous.... *smile* and among millions of calories ipue's one and only favorite *creme caramel* and many other delicious things!!!!!!! she told us, she can eat this night & day!! and it seems to me this will be a great idea!!!!!

today we were allowed to take part in ipue's kids class for german language and it was fun!! at the beginning as well as at the end they have the habit to play games.. for sure with learning german besides!! and today they were playing halligalli and it was so great for us, too, although the cards were quite large for us but we got successfull!!!!!

lili_6789 and her hubby yashila_81 have guests from lili's hometown, her mom & dad & bros and his wife!! and so we were very busy :-))) they picked us up at noon to have lunch together, and we met our dear buddy JORIS the 2nd there!!!!!!

LATER we went to the new tabriz fish bazar, stunning of it's perfection!!! so yummy fish and others... from there we went to the new LALEH PARK shopping center, both nearby to yashila's, - what a crowd!!?! and here I met lots of my siblings in one of the shops!!!!!
LATER we went to the favorite place of ppl of tabriz: shahgoli park!! and there first we had a traditional soup from ardabil and then a traditional kind of dinner, potato with egg and butter and peppermint and tomatoes and cucumbers, mashed into a flat bread!
back home at 1 AM and VERYYYYYYYYYYY tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

during this night from 24th to 25th april dear lili's parents came from ardabil to bring the baby's trousseau as her daughter is pregnant waiting for their baby after 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wooooooow... what a great stuff!!!!!!!!!!!! lili & yasha were very excited and thankfull for all the efforts of lili's parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so they can be relaxed coz everything is ready!!!!!!!!!!! the most nicest thing was a traditional cradle they ordered from a village as it was lili's dream to use smth like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today twice we didn't got allowed to take part - once in the morning, when ipue and her hubby got up early to buy a cake and hurried to the home of dear lili_6789 and yashila_81 to give their congratulations for their 4th wedding anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (they told us, it was too early....) :-((((( and the other event was in the eve and they told us, it was too late for little TVs like us........ tztztzzzzz... but during the day happy enough ipue took us with her to welcome her FC-buddy from AT!!!!!!!!!!! and we profited a lot from the sightseeing trip around the city, me and dear ZIZZI!!!!!

last time when we had been in tehran, F.M.Baer and the playmos were with us, but this time I was with ZORRO_Zebra only, and it was great!!!! also great weather untill 28 degrees C, and clean weather also!!!!
on the road from tab to teh for the very first time we had a break around 3 AM at this mosque - normally the break is at zanjan, were ipue took pics often untill now...........
while ipue's hubby did his power nap at the hospital after his treatment it was ipue going by bus to northern tehran for the fruit market at tajrish - she was looking for asparagus to prepare a special german food, and she found it, but this is another story for another day :-))))
she show us around and we had a look at the pilgrimage site there - through the fence only... because her hubby was waiting. a glance at the mountains around and also very interesting at a place for the water when snow is going melted.. then a fast stop at the post-office to send some postcrossing-cards!! and last but not least she show us in the *by far longest street of the world* with its more than 3.000 house-numbers straight from southern tehran to northern tehran the house-number 3.108, one of the last ones!!!! then we picked up her hubby and she profited to show us the funny traffic-light-men from tehran!!!! and ZIZZI asked for a pic!!
later everybody relaxed at the flat of ipue's son1, and there we found a great very usefull postcard-holder and ZIZZI had a pic with!! we must find it at nanu-nana, when we'll be in DE another time, and in the eve we had been again on the road back home to tabriz!!!

t's so boring while seeing the *progress* in building houses... :-(((((
30 years ago the neighborhood of ipue was very simple 400 houses with 1 or two floors..
but NOW????!?!? awwwwwwwfullllllllllllllll!!!!!!!! 6 - 8 - 10 or even 12 floors... depending in which street..

today ipuenktchen had her personal fight with GNOCCHI!!!!!!!!!!
and we had been her personal assisstants!!!!!!!!
not the beautifullest, but very tasty spinach-gnocchis!!!
and as a highlight we'll have them with green asparagus from tehran!!!!
but finally Ipue got successfull and our guests agreed the lunch!!
and it was sooooooooooo great, we met also our buddy JORIS the 2nd and had much fun together!!!!

later we had the honour to take part in a *high class gathering* in the ancient public bath *hamame nobar*. ipue told us, during the childhood of her hubby he and his brothers together with their dad were using just this public bath!!!!!! - we weren't allowed to sit around the tables, but hidden in the backside.. no prob!! (and btw ipue used with intent an unsharp photo not to upset ppl!!!!)
later there were everywhere in the city heavy rain!!

more great flower news - breaking news in fact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)))
today we found in the yard ***WHITE IRIS***!!!!! what a beautiful yard!!!! also I saw a brown-red iris, but only in a vase.. they promised to ipue to give some roots of it in fall..... let's stay tuned!!!!!
and at lunch-time ipue had a surprise for us - we all went to lili's and yasha's and took our lentil-stew with us, to eat there together!!!! we were so happy, ZORRO and me, coz we enjoyed to meet our buddy JORIS the 2nd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and yes, even he showed us the handmade cradle for the baby-to-be and we had some pics with!!!!! finally we had a glance at lili's postcards, too!!!!!!

great day today - 45th wedding anniversary of ipuenktchen & her hubby!!!!
lili_6789 & yashila_81 called them to be ready at 2.30 PM!!!!
everybody was so thriiiiiiiiiiiiiiilled!!!!!!!!!! what will happen??????????
so they picked us up in time, very beautiful weather, and we went not far to a new traditional restaurant. from outside it seemed very small, but the space was long, soooo long!!!!!! and over two floors!!!!!! there was a *policeman* with a fake-uniform in front of the restaurant helping for parking!! and another young man with traditional azerbaijanian clothing at the door!
inside - boah, what a crowd!! but we found a table for us! very chic, clean and a clever and clean well dressed stuff!! even *Bier vom fass*!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe... without alcohol, but very tasty and fresh!! at first the kids served some pastry! then soup for everybody!! we ordered each of us another kind of barbecue!!! REALLY TASTYYYY!!!!!
we mad lots of pics and had much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the most tasty meal ipue ever had in an IR-restaurant, she told us!!!!
from there another surprise - the *park analar atalar* was our next goal!! the *mom & dad park* near abressan. we had never been there before.. and at the end of this park we entered another park!! *park miniature* - all the sightseing places of tabriz as a smaller modell, each of it's special platform.
this was really great and we never heard before!!!!!!!!!!!??!?!

we really haven't time enough to get bored.. coz everyday is smth new at ipue's!!?!?! today it was the b-day of her close german friend, and after a surgery she isn't still completely well, and so they decided to celebrate her b-day at ipue's!!!!
everybody agreed and prepared smth for the gathering, and so we helped ipue a lot to prepare coffee-glace!!!!!!!!!! believe it, it was soooooooo tastyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! and it was worth to learn it perhaps for any other gathering......

Game-Gathering every 2 weeks - this time at ipue's!! and we got so surprised when we saw the women only laughing without end..........
this time after a long time we were playing again pochen, a souvenir of ipue's childhood, played together with her parents and grandparents and her sis for years and years!!!!!
*UNO* is a MUST in each gathering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and also one of the *MEMORIES*.... this time the shoe-Memory, a gift of dear IsaGV!!!!!!
no serving but self-service and no special high class snacks, but very simple pastries, fruits, sweets, chips, nuts - finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and so we are very comfortable and they are doing this since years ago!!!!

a great day out!!!!!!!! bingo!!!! we went to ipue's garden, 25 km tehran road!!!! first still on the road we had a bird's eye view from mt. shibli at yussufabad and gurigöl lake! the weather was still not that beautiful......
but then we had a great day out with lovely birdsongs, beautiful sunshine, fresh air and a deep green colour everywhere!!!!!!!!!!! and only ipue & her hubby and my cousin ZIZZI & me!!!!!! we learned many birds and many flowers!!!! and for lunch we had a tasty gulasch with pasta!
btw beside the garden is an old given up tea-house........ once we used the waterpomp!!

ipue asked me to learn about IR-money as I'm old enough to do some shopping sometimes!!! and next time when we are going to bazar I've to manage it for my own!!?! ey gosh, I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!
this wasn't that easy, coz they are using small and large coins for the same amount and you must look on very exactly not to make a mistake!!!!!!!! and for many coins are still the banknotes used, as well as the amount is very small nowadays...... and only the thousands-banknotes haven't still a coin not yet...
difficult, really difficult......................
and even she let me current about the bus-card!!! as we mostly are using the bus straight along the city, I've to be familiar with and she gave me one for my own!!!! wow, I'm so proud - it seems she count me an adult!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today dear lili_6789 had prepared a traditional dish for lunch, favorite dish of most ppl here... - *kalepatsheh* - oh my god!!!!!!!!!! before the real dish they met small pieces of sangak bread into the water of the dish, later feet & tongue & belly and so on.. of sheep....... ipue normally avoid to be with ppl who are eating this... but ok.. dear lili made her efforts and it's a favorite dish of dear hubby of ipue and dear hubby of lili - so it was o.k.....!!

today after lunch we decided to go again to the garden of ipue's hubby beside gurigol with its more than 40 kinds of birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! yashila_81 & dear lili_6789 were working both while we were chilling out - it was sooooooo great!!!!!!!!!!!! dear lili is still a student and is trying to finish as much of her studies as she can before the arriving of their baby-to-be!!!! and yasha is doing some wooden-things..
we got thrilled when we understood, our dear buddy JORIS will be with us!!! it was his first time in the garden, but when the weather will get more hot he'll have a prob because of his cuddly jackett!!!?!

we went to the groceries and helped ipuenktchen a lot to carry the shopping cart... coz in her neighborhood it's a bit hilly, 400 m more altitude than in the city-center!!!
we saw some white berries.... mulberries, as ipue told us!!! later there will be also black ones, even in her garden!! and also king-mulberries, black and giant!!!!

although the weather was a bit stormy we had a ride downtown and noticed - believe it, tabriz is the host of the Asian Women Chess Games!!!
when we came out from the taxi there was a nice flower-basket and we would like to see it from nearby!
then first - yeah.. the post-office!! and what a surprise, they had STAMPS>>> hehe... mostly missing... and so we were able to send out our postcrossing cards!! even we had been allowed to take a pic from a new stamp sheet, will be issued after one week!!
from there we passed the ancient townhall (built during the thirties by the germans!!!) and very fast we went back home as we were pretty hungry!!!!!!!!!

boahhhhhhhhhhhhh, how tired we got todayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!??!?!?
but it was an excellent tabriz-tour today - everybody enjoyed a lot!!!!!
very early in the morning we started at the hotel with a small german group and made it downtown into blue mosque!! our next stop was the yard of the silk road tower and you can see ZIZZI with its beautiful mosaic! then a must, the tabriz bazar, world heritage site, the world largest roofed bazar!! on our way out of the bazar we passed the main mosque and next the restauration dept, section bazar, of the iranian heritage and in front we entered the constitution house! later we joined a sangak bakery, the famous tasty bread baked in a traditional kiln on pebbles!! beside it we went into the pilgrimage place and didn't got any pic inside - a matter of respect. *smile* just beside there was the modern poet's mausoleum from the sixties!
then it was time for a late lunch and you see us waiting for!!!!!!!!
everybody agreed this great day and we were pretty tired!!!!!!!!!

later we understood lili_6789 and ipuenktchen had an idee to cheer up dear little princess_04 (former anita_2004), the granddaughter of ipue, for her b-day in june and she found somebody to bring the gift to DE....... so it can reach dear little princess_04 in time - juchuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

some *younger ppl* picked us up towards the garden.. and what a great day we had!!!??!??!?!
there we found still some *elder ppl* who had lots of fun with a yummy barbecue!! and so we
had a great day and with such a feeding we'll grew up soon - hehe!!!!! besides a tasty halva!!!!!
the nature was again so beautiful because of lots of rain! pls have a look yourself!!!

what a lazy and boring day today.. so we got in our mind to eat some cherries from the yard.... but how we can bring the ladder at the cherry-tree???? we decided first to have a power-nap to get more powerful... and so we did....
later we got a training on the rings to get more bulging muscles and then we tried to climb on a tree.......... boah, it was really hard!!!!!!!!!! then ipue-mom found us and was laughing - she knows us pretty good, that we were thinking for the cherries!!!!!! and she gave us one to try - and really, they aren't ripen yet..........
so all our efforts reached nowhere...............

today we had to leave :-((((((((( it was really nice here. we couldn't imagine before we saw it with our own eyes!!!
arrived at the dubai airport we had time enough to have a glance again at the duty free shop - and ipuenktchen couldn't believe it when she saw the famous FAZER choci from finland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??!?! and yeah, she bought one!!! yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! what a great souvenir!!! well done!!!!!!!
and you can also see our colourful new friend with us, which was bought by dear lili_6789 also from duty free shop!!!
btw - and yessss, for sure we saw all these highest skyscrapers, but we didn't took any photos of, no need, coz this is boring as you see their pics everywhere!!!!!

after a short flight of 2 h we opened our eyes and ppl were speaking a bit rough in their melody of speaking in comparing with farsi.... and they told us it's arabic!!!! wow!!!
the next morning we got up early and had a walk downtown!!!!!!! souk... - the arabic bazar, the creek, a boat instead of a taxi on!! and arrived at bur dubai! and as they had just the day before our arriving their 43th national day there had been flags and pics of the founder of the UAE and their leaders everywhere!!

today we had REAL WINTER, it was snowing heavily and we got so happy about!!!!! well, finally it was ipuenktchen
and her hubby, who had to clean the doorways, and this was hard for them!!!!!!!
but we like all kids were happy for so much snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and our friends POSSY & CROSSY & ZIZZI are with
me!!! but, BELIVE IT!!!!! at last ipuenktchen forgot us in the yard, and now it's dark and late and we had to sleep outside... :-((( thanks god it's not that cold!!!!!!!!!!!! so we are waiting for the sunshine in the morning...!!!

when the door opened and ipuenktchen came out into the yard, we all got so happy to be rescued after this long night on the snowy tree...... and poor CROSSY was hanging upside down even, poor guy!! ...and my dear buddy ZIZZI, most miserably, went down into the snow ... upside down!!! But we all swore black and blue that they crashed the moment ipue came to our rescue, so nothing had happened at all. (the uncaring mom was still ashamed...)
and so we went for a walk in the park.. shahgoli is the ancient name!!

as ipue was so excited when she met at the cologne-meeting 60 postcrossers!!!!!! she took only one pic at the restaurant while we made our signatures on the tons of cards!!!
a little bit we were unhappy.. when we understood today we have to say goodbye to our cute buddy POSCHTI who met his mom today in this meetup!!! and also we kissed goodbye POSSY & CROSSY who have such a lot of holidays to manage... bielefeld, delft, beijing... oh, we got really a bit jalous!!!!!

believe it, todayyyyyyy I reached another one of my life missions, coz ipue-host-mom brought us to the famous NANAS, a sulpture of one of her favorite artists, NIKI de ST.PHALLE!!!!! I got so thrilled!!!!!
today we had our first trip downtown!! unbelievable, coz host-mom told me we'll leave for IR after a few daysl... and nobody had been downtown, even not for shopping!!!!!?!??!?!?!!??!
so we went beside the river leine to have a look at the famous sculptures of niki de st. phalle, so called the NANAS!!!!!! they look so lively and happy and colorful!!!
later we passed the GEHRY-house near steintor from the famous US-architect frank gehry!! honestly, it was quite dirty!!?!

today I had been back at ipue's and it was so great to be at home again as well it was hard to separe from my dearest CHRISSI!!! me and ZIZZI came from ESSEN at fabi's and she sent us to munich and we entered IR together with ipue's friends!!
here you can see when ipue is opening the enveloppe!! me, I was just down in the envi, when ZIZZI had a look around.... at last we got huged by EkaPeli who was given home in the meantime!!!!! a gift from ipue's sis to her!

yesterday when we heard about, that EkaPeli had been downtown with the new metro of tabriz, me and ZIZZI were sooooooooooo saaaaaaaaaaaaaad!! but today ipue-mom waked us up quite early and told us, today is the zebra's turn to enter the newly opened *tabriz suburban train*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got ready in a minute!!! lili & kia came to pick us up and we went to the el goli station!! how great!!!! we understood everything very soon and had no probs - well, you know, we often went by metro in other countries...........
at the last station (for now, get continued surely!!!!!) we changed to the bus and went downtown for this & that............ had a break in the nice park of the ancient municipality, kia had his milk and slept nearly an hour!! it was a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

today there was a funny programme, as ipue's son1 and schwieto invited their students for a touristic trip around their home town!!!! and for sure german speaking, each of us with a bottle of mineral water in their hands, like real german tourists!!!! hehehe.....
the Azerbaijan Tourism Organization during the new year and summer holidays offers busses to have different sightseeing trips. and the meeting point is just nearby to ipue's home, so we met at 4 PM and started with a group of 10!!!
first we entered the seghatoleslam house, a house from olden times, and they offered for the tourists handicraft from different regions of this province! later we went to the ancient citadel ARK, an impressing old building from about 800 years ago in the middle of downtown!
from there we joined the constitution house, the meeting point of a kind of revolution about 100 years ago, with the sculptures of the famous local heroes sattar khan & bagher khan!
the last goal of this trip should be the laleh park mall, but nobody of our group was in the mood for shopping and so on, better we decided for an ice-cream - and so we did!!!! a nice and funny day!!!

today we had a kind of Harvest holidays and it was since a long time the great moment
to get such a colourfull harvest from our garden. and more than 4 months of hard and
professional work once a week brought such a great result!!

today so many things to do... and finally came lots of women and ipue hold their special gathering to strengthen their gray matters - the game board gathering!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we have had lots of fun and yummy sweets and fruits and chips........

soooo great, today ipue-mom brought us to the 6th national handicraft exhibition to the international fairground up on the hill outside of tabriz!
she likes a lot to go there, as it has a special flair there!!!!
we saw a lot of interesting stuff of all kind of iranian handicraft!!!!
but unfortunately no pics with me......!!!

today ipue's son1 tought us money from iraq, so if we like to go out to buy some souvenirs before leaving.........!!?!?
in the eve while coming back home into the beautiful *park view* we had a look at all the beautiful fountains all around before leaving the next day in the early morning back home to tabriz!!

today we had another ride downtown erbil in the ancient city center which got to be registered as a world heritage site recently!!!!
we were so excited, you cannot imagine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!it's a pity as we had been thrilled to join the fort, so we had forgotten to take pics...

today we had breakfast at 4 AM and ipuenktchen told us we will be going for holidays to our neighbour-country to visit ipue's elder son!!! wooow, how surprising!!!!!!!!!!! we got too excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the distance isn't more than the distance from tabriz to tehran..
but as there is the border, it tooks time... we entered the tabriz terminal at 6 AM and arrived at Erbil terminal at 7.30 PM, ipue's son1 was picking us up..

I got really thrilled when ipue-mom told us our goal, to go to see ESFAHAN.. I heard about, it must be the most beautiful city of IR... and also they call it *esfahan - nesfe jahan*, means, when you had seen esfahan, you had seen half of the world!!!!!!!!!!!??!?!
we started our sightseeing tour around the armenian cathedral in jolfa-esfahan, a great bookstore, khaju-bridge, bazar, emam square, a cosy cafe beside, and last but not least the so called zur-khaneh for traditional sports, in which yashila_81 took part, too!!!! it was so fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the guys made a lot of efforts and finally got pretty tired with all the heavy stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

our 2nd day in esfahan we met at 33-arcs-bridge and started with a view of the beautiful yard of the *****hotel abbassi, a former carvansary... but what a pity, it wasn't like before, coz they were working at the teahouse and no service....... for sure will be opened for norouz holidays!!!! - ok, no prob... instead of this we profitted from the beautiful toilet.. hehe...
from chahar bagh we went again to bazar to admire the great *industrial monument* the ancient oil press!!!!!!!! really speechless!!!!!! but to take photos was too difficult.... we are so sorry!!!
from there again a glance at the bazar and another chilling out at the cosy cafe roozegar - and GOOD-BYE, ESFAHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! back home to tabriz by bus, 12 and half hours on the road again!!!

believe it, it was snowing the whole dayyyyyy!!!!!! and the same day when we finally decided to have a ride down town.. what a pity for the beautiful spring flowers.. there had been still great spring a few days ago.......... and ppl are soooooooooooo busy for IR New Year after a few days!!
well, we are busy, too.... but not only for Norouz, but there will be a greeeeeeeaaaaaaat challenge, when dear little kia will get a dear little sis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are soooooooooooo thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and will let you know asap!!!!!!!!!!!!! pls stay tuned!!!!!!! *smile*
well, so finally we went to bazar and everywhere!!!!!!!!!! it was soooo crowded and we got really tired...
5 hours by foot!!!!!!!!!!! puuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh........
and later back home we found such a lot of snow in our aereal.. about 15 cm!!!!!

BREAKING NEEEEEEWS, dear friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
since 2 days ago there is another baby in our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it had happened on 18th march, dearest little *V*I*O*N*A*, the little sister of our dearest *K*I*A*, kids of lili_6789 and yashila_81, was born, and it was so great, ready for NEW YEAR in IR!!!!!!!!!
the whole IR is celebrating NOROUZ now... and I'm so thankful that ipue is celebrating this, too.... the new year arrived on 1st day of spring!!!!!!!! and the short snowy winter was again leaving after two days and so everything was ok with the weather and we have nice flowers.. in ipue's yard we have even still violets!!!!! and downtown the flowers wasn't that much damaged....
do you remember HAFTSIN??? the table where IR families are sitting around in the moment when the year is changing!!!! and here you can se the whole tv-gang at lili's!!!!!!!!!!

we all got thrilled when the postman brought the parcel vom china and we saw, POSSY & CROSSY made it safely back home!!!!!! I remembered them well although they hadn't been here for just a year!!! I understood it was really a historical day at ipue's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and believe it, they came back home with new friends!!????!?!?????? yeaaaaaaaaaaah, there was the pink bear and a playmo-child with him.. we are very curious how they will be named later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?! and for sure we all will be a cool gang!!!!!!!!!!
and last but not least a warm WELCOME for the cosy STRAWBERRY-Bear came with us to IR as our guest and we like to host him to cheer up dear papa_always!!!!!!!

sometimes a bad thing brings a good thing for us, and so it happened today, when ipue's TV got out of order and it was a boring FRI for mr. ipue..... and so ipue proposed to have a walk in shahgoli park beside their neighborhood, as she hadn't see yet all the thousands of tulips everybody is talking of!!!!!!!!?!?!?
and so we did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we never saw so many tulips before in our life...
woooooooooooooooow, so beautiful colours... we forgot all the crowd there, while admiring the great tulips in so many different colours!!!!!!

today I'll introduce our favorite chocolate-types to you... ipue prefers cappucino and her hubby marzipan almond paste!!!!!!! yesssssss, and we traveltoys, we like both of them!!!!!!!!!!! but now in this hot weather all of us we prefer ice-cream.. and ipue and her hubby prefer cappucino-icecream again!!!!!!!

ipuenktchen told us her idea, to make a red-berries-charlotte
from all the mulberries, sour cherries, cherries and red currants we had from their garden at home!!!!! and so we did... honestly, so much efforts.... we got really tired but happy about the nice result!!!!

it was quite calm, coz only ipue and her hubby were with us,
but we had a great day and much fun, coz we had the whole traveltoygang with us!!!!!
btw after all this stormy weather there wer even two trees broken!!
ipue was working the whole day on the berries they got yesterday from their yard at home.. but this was ok, we absolutely didn't got bored.. hehe........... btw the fruits here in yusefabad weren't ripened yet except of some strawberries!

*Grouhe SARAY* was the reason we went again....... to ARDABIL, yashila_81 had a gig in sare'in (hot waters!!) every day untill end of summer holidays!!!
- Ipue cannot count how often she went to ardabil.. it's one of her most favorite places in NW of IR!!!!!! but for us, it was our very first time!!!!! pls have a look at our pics, but be patient!!!!!!! thxxx...
and last but not least we huged ipue's lovely grandchildren who spent some time with their other grandparents!!!!!!!!!!!!! and a must is a glance at the UNESCO-site Sheikh Safi!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't imagine when we opened our eyes in the morning and I understood,
it seemed we were in a hotel.. and when we went for breakfast I heard only foreign languages...
later we went out for a walk around, had a ride with the famous tramway of lisbon, got out
in an upper quarter and had a great view to downtown lisbon and at the other side to the castle!!!!!
woooooooooooow!!!!!!!
we are happy to be in LISBON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lisbon, we are coming!!!!

10 km south of marand, where both sons of ipue learned to
ride ski yeaaaaaaaaars ago!!!!
the misho mountains where so impressing and it was a day
full of sunshine, we enjoyed a lot and had so many nice im-

today ipue brought us downtown tabriz and we entered
for another time the potters house!! there is an exhibition
this month specially for Iranian New Year, as you know so
called NOROOZ!!!!!!!!!!!! the girls made stuff for HAFTSIN,
the special table, where iranian families are sitting around
at the moment, when the new year arrives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we had a lovely sunny day today and decided to get a sun-bath in the morning!!
after another day out... ipuenktchen brought us downtown tab
to see the silkroad-tower where dear yashila_81 has his language institute..
it's a nice building with 18 floors!!! and some nice places around!!
as there is the famous carpet mosaic and also the metro station under
construction.. btw in this place had been the original father's house of
mr. ipue, which must get destroyed as well as many other buildings to
to let be space for the tower, metro station and the new cross road!!
later we went to another ceramic exhibition not far from there and it was
again beautiful and interesting!!!! on the road we saw this beautiful ancient entrance
of a house from qajar era!!

the last day of our IR new year celebrations is always *sizdahbedar*, the 13th day of the new year!!!!
it's the custom everybody is going out for picnic and bring the sabze from haftsin
back to the nature, best of all bring it into floating water!!!!!!
and we went out as well, to the garden of ipue's hubby beside lake gurigol at km 25 teh road!!!
best weather, guys!!!! a bit cold, but fully sunshine!!! we were so happy and had lots of fun
together with ipue's friends and my own TVbuddies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need some OXYGEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)))))
after so many days at home we really want to go out,
and so we went all together for the supermarket and groceries!!!
and as we also since long time ago didn't took new pics,
ipue decided to start to make some just here in the yard!!!!!
btw, did you noticed the snowdrop??? some of them still in a good
condition, although several times they got covered with snow!!!

during this night up to the last day of the iranian year ipue
made our HAFTSIN.... do you remember, haft sin means 7 s,
means 7 items of persian language with a 's'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and some other stuff with a special meaning for love and
luck and many other positive wishes for the new year!!!!!!
and as it was very late, she forgot more than 5 items.......
as we understood later, after making all our pics still in
the night.. ok... never mind...........................
ssib (apple), sserkeh (vinegar), sabzeh (the seeds, got green),
sekkeh (coin), ssonbol (hyazinth, we have only in the yard..),
ssangak (a special bread), ssenjed (a kind of fruit) ssamano
(a kind of pudding), ssumagh (a spice) and many other stuff
like gold fishes, a mirror, a clock, candles, coloured boiled eggs, the
holy qor'an, new banknotes, nuts & pastry etc.
many ppl nowadays don't get goldfishes, but met a bowl of
water with an orange into!!!! and also some ppl use instead
of the holy qor'an the book of poet hafez.

the first day of the long lasting new year's session 1398!!!!!!!!!!!
and ipue's son1 and azzy had reserved for us in the famous iranian restaurant 'Persian Rose'!!!! wow, how nice, and what a crowd, all iranians!!!! believe it, in australia!!!!!!!!!!!! and even they prepared a little fire, to spring over, as an ancient custom!!!!!!!!!!!! and of course they had a beautiful haftsin, the special table with 7 things with "s"... the yummy food I will not mention........ so I'll get hungry again.........

today we went by suburb train from turramurra to downtown Sydney!!!
we were very excited!!!!!!!!!!! coz we would get to see the most
famous sightseeing site in this gorgeous cityyyyy!!!!! the OPERA!!!!!
it's one of the most famous buildings of the 20th century!!! opened in 1973!
there is a large space around, thx god, coz there is such a crowd around!!!!
we enjoyed there so muchhhhhhh and were so thankful for this opportunity, me, too!!!

this was another great day for us, as we were going to see our first
beach in Sydney - Manly Beach!!!!!!!!!!!! as they told us, there are
more than 50 beaches around Sydney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as we noticed ipue is living with two cultures and so today she tidied up the
norouz deco and was arranging the easter decoration!!! this is sooo interesting
for us!!!! both are special for spring!!! and after a longlasting winter and cold
and grey weather we need the spring colours and get happy with!!!!

after such a long time ipue's dream got true, to join the annually 3-days-
postcrossing-meetup in bielefeld, and we had the great chance, as she took
us with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww!!!!
60 postcard-mad people and we among them!! and postcards everywhere....
you cannot imagine it..
our first pic we took alltogether ipue's gang in front of the window!!!
and the cute kaipo from hawaii was with us!!!!! and also luigi palermo
who will come with us to IR, when we are going back home!!

still in bielefeld I'm looking around at the guys here who are busy with........
- some of them are preparing FOUR pumpkins for HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!
woooooooow, great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- and some other, before collecting stamps to stick on a long table as a decoration!!
nice idea!!!
- and of course - most of them were signing postcards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the main purpose to come to bielefeld.. hehe........

today we could admire the fantastic pumpkins,
ready for halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and later we went to visit the gorgeous collection

although we couldn't got up in time as it was spoken to join our garden
on this beautiful Easter Monday.... the clock should been ringing at 9 AM,
but we only woke up at 11 AM... shame on us........... but dear yashila_81
was so kind to let us time to get ready untill noon... poooooohhhhh.....
later in the day the weather turned into a very stormy weather..
lucky Possy & Crossy, they were the only ones who had a shawl, coz it got really COLD!!!
believe it, there was a motorbike in the garden!!!!!!! and we all had been very
curious to whom it belongs... it was the motorbike of the workman who was
busy there today!! and so we weren't allowed to have a ride....
but finally we got get a pic on the nice motorbike!!!!!!!!!!!
what a pity.................
when yashila_81 had a break he had a shisha, too, and again we weren't
allowed to do the same..... but we had a pic together!!!!!!!

some days we were waiting to get a pic with the beautiful lilac in the yard.

We passed the MON in ipue's garden and had a great day!!
as it's a bit colder there we had just the beginning of spring!
of course we all had a photosession!!! and most of all we liked
the poppies!!!!!!!
btw the lilac here in yusefabad is in a much more beautiful
colour than in tabriz although it's from the same plant.
I think it's a matter of soil......

I was wondering ipue was so busy to make a cake and
hide it from all of us, and than I understood it was the BD of dear lil KIA!
we were very excited all of us.. and again we forgot to make pics......
ey gosh.............. but we insist ipue to make a pic even with the rest
of the beautiful DINO............ so you can image, that we really had been
participated in the BD-Party...............

great weather and her lovely lil granddaughter was playing with us!
the kiddies learned today the gameboard *Muehle* and vivi tried to

made 55 pieces!!!!!!!! today I will show you some of the most
beautifulest ones!

'making handmade postcards' and during the last 4 month she had
made 55 pieces!!!!!!!! today I will show you some of the most beautifulest ones!
