Hello World!
First of all, let me introduce myself.
I'm a cute little mouse princess from the Kingdom of Spain, specifically from the castled city of Granada.

Like any good princess I must know the World we live in and be a kind ambassador of my kingdom to many other cultures.

However, let it be clear, I am a princess but I am not spoiled, I can use public transportation, in fact, this is how my story begins.

Here I am with my friends Capote , Sir James and the current Voyager of the Week: Phinook
http://i.imgur.com/DcwfZ.jpg

To begin my story I should of course first show you where I'm from, so here I am in the center of Granada:
http://i.imgur.com/nAwit.jpg

and here's the main post office
http://i.imgur.com/eO9J5.jpg

here's a painter being inspired by the people in the streets of Granada:
http://i.imgur.com/hhkQe.jpg

and this is Granada's Town Hall
http://i.imgur.com/p7dfi.jpg

Granada is a city with a very rich mix of cultures, and here I am on a Moorish street in the city center.
http://i.imgur.com/L79VQ.jpg

in the centric Bib-Rambla square there's a pretty fountain with nice pink roses that nicely match my dress.
http://i.imgur.com/Og0p7.jpg
That brown tower in the background is the Cathedral's bell tower.
http://i.imgur.com/qn2vP.jpg

Back home we decided to make a cake, so here we are with all the ingredients ready:
http://i.imgur.com/67prq.jpg

And we helped to make the mix
http://i.imgur.com/Ixcf6.jpg

It was nice to work together
http://i.imgur.com/h9v6l.jpg

But the cake was so yummy we forgot to wait before eating it to take a picture.

Anyways, I hope this will be the beginning of a great adventure around the World.
Here I come!,

Susy

Hello again world,
Today I joined my mentors to run some errands and on our way back we stopped in a few nice places. Here's the local Plaza de Toros (bullfighting ring).

Hi everyone!,
This weekend we went on a trip to the countryside, we spent the weekend on a countryhouse with some friends. The view was beautiful, here you can see the small town of Otívar:
http://i.imgur.com/NCDji.jpg
Like many Andalucian towns all the houses are painted white and it looks very pretty.

We had a barbecue made in this rustic oven:

and we got to play in the well. We also threw in coins and made wishes.

Hi!
Today we spent the day walking through the city center, here's me in a nice Andalucian style building:
http://i.imgur.com/Y5clm.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/5gKtb.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/m5uSB.jpg

The medieval door that you see behind me used to be the entrance to Granada during the 12th century. It's called the Puerta de Elvira:
http://i.imgur.com/v3UcS.jpg

Then we took a bus, the building you can see here was an old jail and is now the current hall of justice for Andalucía:
http://i.imgur.com/RxpCa.jpg

We arrived to the famous "Mirador de San Nicolás", a very nice lookout out point to see the whole city of Granada and my home castle the Alhambra:
http://i.imgur.com/54VFi.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/LJxbd.jpg
The Alhambra was a fortified city built by the moors with several palaces inside.

Here's part of the old fortified wall that used to surround Granada.
http://i.imgur.com/2mVka.jpg

After all that walking I had some really good paella and a refreshing soda.
http://i.imgur.com/gg9Hg.jpg

Then we went down to the city center walking through the Albaycín, which was the old Moorish neighborhood. The Albaycín has very small streets and it's very easy to get lost.
http://i.imgur.com/aoVZ7.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/eRo9M.jpg

On our way down we found a very nice cat.

Here's another view of the Alhambra:

Finally when we got down we found a very pretty ice cream shop:
http://i.imgur.com/zZTrf.jpg

I shared a vanilla ice cream with Phinook.

We visited some arab shops and in one store they had a nice fountain with big fishes in it:

What a nice walk we had today!

Hello everyone,
Today we made a very special cake, it was extremely chocolaty, very colorful and pretty.
We wanted to make a nice pattern with M&M candies, so first we practiced on a plate, and after trying several ideas we went with one we found online:
http://i.imgur.com/hgRqd.jpg

Then, when we felt we were ready, we all helped put in the candies on a chocolate cake we had made earlier. Our hosts shared the cake with some friends and everybody was impressed by our work  B).

Hello,
We saw a very pretty rainbow, and although it's very faint in my picture, I also like the color of the sky (I bet you can guess why :) ).

I love how Granada has a so many things nearby, including sky slopes and the sea.

Today Phinook was heading back home after his very long trip, so we gathered to say goodbye.

So I jumped into the box as well:

HI THERE!

Today I arrived in Austria - just in time for Fasching  :D Fasching is the time of year, when all of Austria dressed up and celebrates :) It's like carneval  :)

Host mum told me that all the other toys where allready in costumes, so I immediately decided to dress up before meeting them - and then letting them guess what kind of toy I was. I borrowed my dress a bear, called Kuhbärt, who dressed up as a princess, and borrowed a costume from him.

Perhaps you can guess what I dressed up as - as a cow  :D

The other toys were all really really nice, but they didn't stand a chance guessing that I was a mouse normally.

Next, Drescher, Mr. Curious and me decided to do a dress up dinner party  :cyclops:

We went to a big closet and tried to find the perfect costumes. Of course the guys didn't try on more than one outfit- but I loved all these clothes so much, that I just couldn't settle on one outfit. :D

Just when I had decided on an outfit (rich lady of the 1980s), I saw how beautifully Mr. Curious's costume as a princess was, and decided that we should all have a princess costume  - for a princess dinner party.

Yet even though it was so much fun, we went to bed early, because we were all so tired. I told Drescher and Mr. Curious about my journeys to Switzerland and my home in Spain, when we lay in bed. :)  It was really comfy to ly in bed and talk about our travels.

I haven't seen much of Austria yet, but so far I liked it immensely  :D

Today we went to host mum's school, and we had so much fun there - especially since we didn't have to learn a single thing  ;)

I first have to apologize because not all pictures are sharp... :(

First we played a word guessing game on the blackboard- because that's what you do in school  B)

Then we helped host mum to fill in an attendance list  :D

We also had a look at all the books which are used for English teaching (well , ok I admit, that is not even half of them  ;) )

Then we were allowed to copy some papers for hostmum- and when she wasn't looking we made a copy of ourselves- it was so much fun :D

Dear family,

You know that I am not really used to snow- but lately there has been so much of it in Vienna. It is really freezing outside, and that's why host mum told me to borrow a warm jumper, a scarf and a hat, before we went outside today to enjoy the snow. (It was a pretty cool outfit, all in  pink, I looked great in it - though I say it myself) :D

Well, so as I said we went for a walk in the snow- and it was simply fabulous- everything looks like it was enchanted. We explored a cave, climbed on trees, found a lovely looking bench, on which we took a rest- and then even built a snowman!!! :D

Yes a snowman. We split the work, and Mr. Curious built the biggest snowball, which is for the legs, Drescher built the second one which is for the belly, and I built the head. We then thought that we had finished it, and had a good look at it  :o  WE were shocked- it didn'T look like a snowman should.  :(
But hostmum explained, that we had done it perfectly. We would simply have to add some finishing touches, like giving him a face and arms, and some clothes. After we had done so it really looked perfect  :D

Back home, we were allowed to eat our lunch in bed. Which was really fine by me as I wanted to warm up anyway. It was so comfy!  :D

Hello there!

Sorry I haven't made an update in quite a while, I just didn't find the time...

A few days ago Mr. Curious got his shirt, which was send to him by his owner. It turned out to be a football shirt, and it also turned out that Mr. Curious is a huge soccer fan, and was very curious about what a game with us would be like.

So he explained all the rules to us, and then we started building our goals. When we had found another player- Hearty, a bear, which was my team mate, we started playing- two against two

It was very exciting. I managed to score a goal against Drescher and Mr. Curious, but when I was protecting our goal, I could only stop one of the two baööy Drescher tried to get into our goal.  :(  I really enjoyed playing nevertheless  :)

We only stopped playing when we realized that we had accidently played with two balls for a while. When stopped the score was 2:1 for Drescher and Mr. Curious - so I lost. But it was great to play football, and I made a new friend, Hearty. :)

Hello there!

As Easter approaches, I have already learned much about traditions in Austria- as for yesterday, it was Green Thursday, which is the day when Austrians traditionally paint their Easter Eggs. This tradition can be traced back to the Middle Ages  :o

Well, beofe we started to paint the eggs, we of course wanted to get some hints on how to color them perfectly- so we spoke to the one and only Easterbunny himself - who gave us really good advice  :D

We started by unpacking the eggs and then continued by awing- because we were quite taken aback by the large number - there were as many as 30!!!  :o

Well, that was when we realized that we had much work to do, so we immediately put them into hot water to hard boil them. Then I read through the instructions of the color, and realized that we had a bit of spare time- that was when Mr. Curious and I decided to decorate ourselves- Easter Style  B)

We did not have too long, before we had to get the color ready, and put the eggs in it (They were quite heavy to lift, but they looked so pretty I loved every minute of it) When they had been long enough in the color, we pulled them out again, andstarted decorating them even more by putting pictures on them  :D I loved how pretty all the eggs looked, even though each of us made them differently  :D

But that wasn't even it!  :cyclops:

We also made a blown out egg, which we will put on the pussy willow  :D

In order to do so, you have to push a spear right through the egg- you need holes on two sides of the egg. Then you have to blow into the egg on one side, so what is in the egg will be pushed out of it on the other side.

This might be a little disgusting, but you can paint the shee of the egg afterwards and keep it forever (as long as it doesn't break)

I will show you the finished egg, once we have put it on the pussy willow.  :D

Happy Easter!

Today we celebrated Easter - basically by eating huge amounts of food  :D

But of course we also decorated the pussy willow, with my self made egg, and visited lots of Easter bunnies, who told us about their job- and I have to tell you, it sounds like an awful lot of work  :stare: But, it might also be well worth it, because of all the joy it brings to the world  :)

I even got my own little Easter basket  :D

Hello!

Today we visited Schönbrunn Palace, and walked in the gardens surrounding it.

The gardens are decorated with a huge amount of statues, and fountains, all in a Roman style.

The first famous sight we swa was the Obelisk fountain. The Obelisk itself stands on 4 turtles and is so high, I wouldn't really want to climb it- even though you would have a wonderful view from up above  :)  Basically the Obelisk represents a stable government, which was of course very important, even in former times.

Second, we saw the Roman Ruin, which was basically only built as a nice garden feature - and really looks impressive. The two figures you can make out in the picture represent the Danube river and the river Enns, as they are the goddesses of these rivers.

Another famous fountain in the Gardens is the Neptune fountain. The god Neptune was an often used symbol for monarchs controlling the destiny of their nations.

Right behind the Neptune fountain is the Gloriette, which nowadays mainly functions as a viewing point. However, in former times, the emperor had his breakfast in there  :D

Right opposite the Neptune fountain is Schönbrunn Palace, which was originally intended to be pink, not yellow. The wrong colour was ordered, and only halfway though painting the castle, the mistake was discovered, which was already too late- well I also like it in yellow  ;)

In front of the palace there is a small Easter market, where they had a really large Easter egg  :D

I really enjoyed Schönbrunn Palace! :D

When we arrived at the spa, another surprise was waiting for us- a new toyvoyager had arrived just in time for the spa  ;)

To celebrate the beginning of our holiday we had some wine, and then started choosing our treatments. We decided we wanted to go swimming first and then have two baths to treat ourselves nicely  B)

It really was a beautiful weekend trip and worthy of a princess  ;)

Today we did something very cool.

First we drove to Wiener Neustadt, a small city near Vienna, and then had a look at map. We had to look for a way from Wiener Neustadt to Niederöblarn, in Styria. - so I guessed that we were going to travel there  ;)

When hostmum told me that we were only going to be there for a short while- I was surprised, because it seemed to be quite far away on the map.

But when we went to another room, I knew how it would be possible- and it was going to be soooo cool  B)

If you guessed that we were going to fly there, you were right!!!!  :cyclops:

The room we went in, was a room where planes are kept, and one would belong to us, at least for the day  :D

We were allowed to climb all over it, in order to get a good look. But it didn't take long, before we had to get inside in order to go to the fuel station.

There are so many instruments in the plane- i was getting all confused  :stare:

At the fuel station we were again climbing on the plane. It was quite hard for me to get in again. But luckily the others helped me  ;)
Mausbären

Posted Apr 25, 2013, 6:28 am
Then I was allowed to read the take off checklist. Which is very important to make sure that the plane works the way it should  B)

Well, and then....we flew  :D

First we passed lowlands, but since much of Austria is mountains, we soon were in the alps, or rather above them  ;)

The last mountain you see is the Grimmig, which means grumpy  ;)

Then we finally landed in Niederöblarn- it is so nice ther with all the mountains there. So before we returned to Vienna we enjoyed the surroundings by going for a walk  :)

I cut the meat and some garlic, while the others got a chili and a bowl ( to mix the meat and seasoning together). We then had to fry the stuff, and then put them together into the wrap- it was really easy to do and soooooooo yummy  :D

Hi there!

Since I enjoyed flying so much- and it's rather windy in Austria, I wanted to build a skite. So I could make good use of the wind, and do some flying again (though it might be in a different way)

the others decided that this was indeed a good idea, and joined me  :D

We all did a different design, according to what we would like most. I wanted to do a girly, princess like skite, which was all sparkly- I think it turned out quite beautiful :)

I also liked the other skites very much!

Today we went to St. Stephen's cathedral, which is Austria's largest church (you will even be able to see its outline in St. Peter's Basilica). It is also quite old, as it was build in 1137 (well in fact it was build during a very long period of time- in fact it took so lang that the style of the church went out of fashion and therefore never was completed)

There is also a legend about why it was never completed. It goes like this:
A young man, an architect, was in love with the daughter of the  man in charge of building the cathedral. He was against the marriage of his daughter to the young man, so he set him task, which he thought impossible to fulfill. He was to complete the building of the second tower. Desperate, the architect made a pact with the devil, saying that while the tower was being build he was not allowed to speak the name of one of the saints. If he did, his sould would belong to the devil. At first all went really well. The tower was nearly completed when the young man, standing on top of the tower, called the name of his love, who was standing in front of the church, in greeting. Then he fell off the tower. His love's name was Maria.
From that day on finishing the tower was considered unlucky.

Today there was even a little fair in front of the cathedral. We also happened to go past a Vienniese Heuriger, which was well visited by lots of toys.  :D

Hi there!

Guess what? I've been to Bangkok!!!!! :cyclops:

We went there for only a very short time, so unfortunately there will only be one entry about this, but it was unforgettable!

In Bangkok, you will see lots of spirit houses. These are houses build for the ghosts who lived in your house. In order to keep them happy, and to make them protect you and your family, you give them little things, like flowers, and drinks. I thought this was very interesting, that's why I wanted a picture with them.

Another thing about Thailand is, that people like to eat the whole day long. This is quite understandable, as the food is soooo yummy. Most of it is made in  little stand right on the street =)

We also went to the Golden Mount, which is a temple, located on top of a hill. The whole location looks similar to a bell, which is a lucky symbol in Thailand. Furthermore, even though to get up there is very exhausting, you can enjoy a wonderful view from up there.

The temple is surrounded by statues of animals, which represent the thai zodiac signs.

In the temple, there are many buddhas. Some are being covered with gold by the people praying. This is done because they believe that giving gold to buddhas now, will bring them money in their next life.

Even though it was for such a short time, I thought my trip to Bagkok was very interesting. I hope you enjoyed it too  ;)

Today we were at a vineyard, called Loisium, in Langenlois.

There we met Fridolin the winemouse, who told us all about the cellars, and the vineyard. In fact we could only take a look at one of the vineyards, which really looked beautiful, but wasn't very old. Well, it was older than 5 years, because that is how long it takes for vine to carry fruit which we can make wine from.

Then we went to the buidling from which we entered into the cellars- the building is painted all over with symbols which tell the story of how wine came to Europe  :)
Mausbären

Posted Jul 4, 2013, 1:31 pm
In the cellar we had a good look at the vinebarrels- which were so huge :o

We also talked to the cellar cat, who explained us that she would always know which wine is the best, because this wine would produce the most heat in its barrel. The barrel would be warmer than the others and the cat would prefer this barrel to sleep on- because of its warmth.
:)

We also had a look at the workplace of the barrel maker, which gave us a good impression of how much work it is to build a barrel.

Then we went into the former house of the owner of the vineyard, which was made up in the most beautiful way. We even saw how bread was made. And the whole building smelled of bacon- YUMMY  :D

Last, we tried to guess the different tastes of wine, by smelling at bottles and guessing the fruit and the spices the smell belonged to. It was quite hard to do, but really much fun :)

Hi there!

So what was this surprise host mum was talking about??? :stare:

Guess what- we were about to fly again!

And this time we were even going to fly to another country, namely to Slowenia, to go sightseeing for a day! :D

So we had to look at the flight map of slowenia, in order not to fly into the airspace of ljubljana city. (We were going to Portoroz, which is on the coast of slowenia. ;)

Then we had to look for the shortest way to go from Vienna to Slowenia- of course we wanted a direct, which would mean that we would not have to fly past certain points, but go directly to Slowenia- but, because you can never be sure to actually get one, we had to look up our waypoints.

Then we fueled the plane- and up we went ;)
Mausbären

Posted Jul 23, 2013, 9:01 pm
Well, what shall I say? To fly again was just like the first time- simply breathtaking- I really enjoyed myself :)

We did not pass any of the great mountains, we did last time, because we did get a direct to Slowenia, which meant we were so much faster ;)

This way we were able to get good looks at various big cities and rivers, and most impressive of all- of Slowenia's stunning coast :)

It really was a great day, and I enjoyed myself so much :cyclops:

hi there!

Today we wanted to do something different- namely possibly to see ghosts- that's why we asked hostmum to let us stay at the most haunted place she knew.

As we sat around the fire (of course it has to be dark if one wants to see ghosts) Cilly suggested to tell a ghost story- to which we readily agreed  :)

We did not see or hear anything of ghosts when we sat there- but now on the pictures I can see them  :)  So I have proof that they really exist  ;)

Well what happened is that we heard a really frightening, very loud noise- immediately all the others hid behind me...Well I guess, I am the smallest but also the bravest  ;)

We followed the noise to its source- a really strange and scary looking house in the middle of nowhere. But scary as it was, when we had a closer look we found out that there was nothing frightening in it, but a new friend. a.piglet, who had chosen to camp there, because she had not known about our hostmum! :o

Well, we invited her to join us, and she did! :)  She will stay some weeks in Austria, and maybe some day start a journey on her own  :D

It was a really exciting night ;)

Today we went to one of Vienna's rivers. We were enjoying ourselves sitting at the coast, when we suddenly saw a raft with a pirate sitting on it- you cannot imagine our surprise- none of us had expected to meet a pirate here in Vienna :D

Hi there!

Today we went up a really high mountain, the Rax, which is one of the highest mountains near Vienna :)

Up there, we escaped the heat of the city (40degrees celsius), and also enjoyed great views, like the one of the Schneeberg (snow mountain), which is called like that because normally there is always snow on its peak, but now it has been really hot for so long, that it has melted. It still makes a great view.

Austria's mountains are truly wonderful :D

Before I take off to my next host, I was to take part in the most fabulous goodbye party ever- it was legendary!!! ;)

We all dressed up- I dressed up as a ladybug, Drescher as a flower, Mr.Curious was Batman, Störte was the Madhatter,. Cilly Mickey Mouse, and Mr. Moose was dressed up as Harry Potter (genius!!!)

We had so much fun, especially when Störte found us some bottles of Whiskey and Rum ;)

We celebrated like there was no tomorrow- and fell asleep right where we partied- but this might have been a mistake, because Cilly started to decorate and then take pictures of us...but even so I think i do look nice as cheshire cat ;)

Hello everybody!  :D

...What a great party! I guess all people in Austria could hear us singing the whole night! Thank you Mausbären! ...Even if it was too much whiskey and rum.  ;) ...As I wrote we fell asleep and Cilly took the pictures but that's not all! I woke up with a bad headache so I had a lie-in... I never slept that long! Suddenly I was in Germany!
And today the Festival of Lights started in Berlin. So my new host and I decided to go there! To the coolest place in Berlin: Potsdam Square.

I was very happy that my host had free today and I couldn't wait for the limousine to come for us. ...But there was no limousine - so we were driving with the subway:stare: But it was okay. Some people stared at me - I think they never saw a royal mouse before...in a subway! :D
And our first target was the Bellevue Palace.

Sometimes it's necessary to have a lot of imagination - because we also were on a construction area. But a special one: They rebuild the Berlin Palace right where the Palace of the Republic was. So the area wasn't that interesting but I could say "Hello!" to 'Borussia', a original statue of the coming castle.

Two weeks ago my host had great news for me: "We will take a holiday!" And I thought: "Yeah, let's go somewhere new!" And some days later we were on our journey to the Harz, a low mountain range. We were driving via Hanover. So we walked through the city some hours. In the afternoon we reached our destination and had the first small nature hike. What a nice view from the "Ahrensklint"...

Next day we had a fascinating trip up to the "Brocken". Even if it's just 1,142 m high it was hard work. Very cold, the ways were frozen and we had heavy storm! It was difficult to take pictures - as you can see at the last one. I had to fight against the storm and my host had frozen fingers.  :D But before we reached the top we also visit another interesting point: "Brocken free again! Wall opening after 28 years here on 3/12/1989." Standing there, reading it... That gave me the creeps! ...not only from the cold temperatures but also because of the German reunification. What a wonderful moment in history!  ;)

Hi~Mum    :p :p
This weekend is Qingming Festival in China. So We have a short holiday.

Qing Ming is a time to remember the dead and the dearly departed. More important, it is a period to honour and to pay respect to one's deceased ancestors and family members. Because it reinforces the ethic of filial piety, Qing Ming is a major Chinese festival. Literally meaning "clear" (Qing) and "bright" (Ming), this Chinese festival falls in early spring, on the 106th day after the winter solstice. It is a "spring" festival.

In contrast to the sadness of the tomb sweepers, people also enjoy hope of Spring on this day. The Qingming Festival is a time when the sun shines brightly, the trees and grass become green and nature is again lively. Since ancient times, people have followed the custom of Spring outings. At this time tourists are everywhere.

So We went to the park and  enjoyed flowers. There flowers are very beautiful

The spring outing was interesting. I like spring outing and I want to spring outing again.

Hi~~

We went to China national grand theatre the opera today.

I heard that The National Grand Theater is built in the shape of a shell. The whole building measures 46.68 meters in height and the deepest part built underground measures 32.5 meters in depth. The theater is more than 600 meters in circumference and surrounded by a man-made lake that covers an area of 35, 500 square meters.
The opera hall is the most important part inside the theater. It is painted mainly in the color of gold and can seat 2,398 people.

Painted in white, the concert hall gives the public an impression that it is an elegant building with a high-class taste. The music hall can seat 2,019 people and will be mainly used for performing symphonies and Chinese folk music.

And there is the drama hall for displaying stage plays and dramas. The hall can seat 1,035 people.

The National Grand Theater can provide first-class services for artists and musicians. There are five places where artists can have their rehearsals, 32 rooms with musical instruments, and 80 dressing rooms. Many dressing rooms are equipped with a bathroom.

The National Grand Theater will become an ideal place for world-renowned artists and art troupes to give their performances. At the same time, China will also try to introduce its local music to the world at the country's grandest music building.

We looked at today's opera is 《The Lady of the Camellias》 is a French tragic play based on Alexandre Dumas (the younger) 1848 novel by the same name, (it is sometimes referred to as "Camille"). The play was adapted for the theater by Dumas in 1852 and then for the opera by the composer Verdi's 'La Traviata' in 1853. The play became a favorite of audiences in the late 19th century.
This is a tragic love story. The opera is very moving.

I think that opera is particularly enjoyable.  :D :D

Hi~Mum

We attended a Chinese wedding. The bride is PAPA's good friend.

We had arrived in hotel with bride the night before. We had a last bachelor party with bride and all the girls in the evening.

I only had try a little Breezer. That's sweet .We played many game then we  went to bed late.

Early in the morning we went to the bride's room to close the door.
The bride is very beautiful. She hugged us and take picture  and Every girl took our  for picture,Do you know which one is PAPA?  B) B)
The room is full of red,PAPA said,The Chinese regard the color red as the symbol of happiness, success, luck, faith and growth. They like red very much, which comes from worship of the Sun. In traditional Chinese weddings, there are double Xi characters in red, red scarves, red flowers and the bride wears a red coat.

I  don't know why close the door,PAPA tell me The firends of bride will not  allow the bridegroom with his friends to come in early unties he agrees some terms Generally, the bridegroom will give a red paper containing money.

The bride bed stood a red dates(early), peanuts(give birth), longans(Precious), melon seeds(children),The meaning is evident in the Chinese pronunciation of these four foods. When they are said together, it sounds like "Have a baby soon."

In traditional Chinese wedding,it is ceremony  before the daughter leaves her parents to show the departure.

After saying goodbye to the bride's parents, the bride should get into a sedan chair and there will be some happy music .then these people will escort the bride to the groom. They sang as they walked so busy.

The bride can't remove the cap on her head's red handkerchief after go out.
We have also come to the wedding Hotel
PAPA said In Chinese usually wedding is Relatives and friends are invited to the feast to eat and drink to the happiness of the bride and bridegroom.
There are more than 200 people attended the wedding.the happiness candy and happiness smoke on the table.I ate the sugar is sweet!  The Red wine is a special custom,Printed with the bride and groom's wedding

The wedding started,On the stage,we can see the man seated in the left side is bridegroom's father, and the other side is his mother, and this is bride, this is bridegroom. The man who officiate the wedding like the priest in foreign.

I heard,In china ,this part calls" baitang". taht is in the traditional wedding ceremony, bride and bridegroom perform the marriage ceremony in which they pay homage to heaven and earth and to the groom's parents.

The wedding is China dishes, very delicious
After the wedding we went to bridal chamber. The new bed is red very beautiful.

I think Chinese wedding is so interesting! Then Papa said In china Most of the young people will choose western style wedding,Wedding in the church, but she's friend think Chinese wedding more funny!

I wish the newlyweds happiness~~~ :D :D :D

HI~ MUM

Today we went to the Wofo Temple.

I saw the temple introduction,Wofo Temple  is a Buddhist temple located near the Beijing Botanical Garden 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the center of Beijing. The temple is best known as the location of the 'Recumbent Buddha', a large sculpture of the Buddha lying down created in 1321.The current incarnation dates from 1734. The temple's first recumbent Buddha was carved in sandstone. In 1321, during the Yuan dynasty the sandstone carving was replaced by a 5.2 meter long statue made of bronze and weighing 2.5 tons.Following a north-south axis, the temple contains an entrance gate followed by three halls. On either side of the axis are buildings used by the monks for lodging as well as to accommodate guests. The first hall is called the Tianwang hall, the second the Sanshi Buddha hall, followed by the Recumbent Buddha hall.

Buddha is not allowed to take photographs so we took some pictures in the yard. The temple has distinguishing feature very much.I made a wish, I hope I can travel to more countries and Eat more Swiss Cheese .Papa said,The thing always happens that you really believe in,and the belief in a thing makes it happen.

We also went to the Great Wall this holiday. The Great Wall is near the town.
The Great Wall in a high mountain,We take the cable car up the mountain,It's quite a scramble to get to the top of the hill!

To use a chinese saying"He who has neven been to the Great Wall is not a true man."Or translated into ”One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero.”So we climbed up!

PAPA said The Great Wall of China, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was enlisted in the World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987.
The Great Wall of China, also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000, is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century, during the Ming Dynasty, in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes.Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles ) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections of the great wall are now in ruins or even entirely disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance.

The scenery on the mountain is very beautiful. :DWe climbed the Great Wall is just a small small small small part of the Great Wall :p

This is really amazing B)We down the Great Wall up to the ancient town for a long walk.

We ate a lot of delicious food in Hongkong. And We went to Victoria Peak, watch the Hong Kong night view.

Victoria Peak is a mountain  in Hong Kong. It is also known to have the highest land value in the world, with many of the Super-Rich residing here. The actual summit of Victoria Peak is occupied by a radio telecommunications facility and is closed to the public.  . However the surrounding area comprises a mixture of publicly accessible parkland, and high value residential land, and it is this area that is normally meant by the name The Peak. The Peak offers spectacular views over central Hong Kong, the harbor and surrounding islands, and is a major tourist attraction.

Then We went to the Victoria Harbour.Victoria Harbour is the harbour between the Kowloon Peninsula and the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong. The night scene is very beautiful :D

Today we went to the Giant Panda Museum in Beijing Zoo.

I'm so excited!

We are one of the scarcest animals. People in the world like it very much. There used to be many pandas in China long ago. As the balance of nature was destroyed and the weather was getting warmer and warmer, pandas became less. But at present, the number of pandas is increasing year by year. There are now so many pandas that some are being sent to other countries so that people there can enjoy them.

They have small tail and fat body, black and white. They’re very clumsy, but they can climb trees. They like to eat bamboo very much.Look! The baby panda is under the mother panda, they are sleeping. They look very lovely.

This is the best day, the best timeand really exciting :D
