Hi everyone,
my name is little T.B. and I just became a Toyvoyager. I really like to fool around. Like I did it yesterday in mum's kitchen. |

Hi everyone,
the weather was so very beautiful today and to be able to enjoy it we(mum, Karlos and me) spend it outside in Frankfurt/Main. We went to see a place called the old Airport (till 1992 it was an U.S. military helicopter airport and today it's an Nature reserve). To get there we took the train and to get back we took the subway. Man that place was packed. On the fomer runway people were biking and skating and on the meadows they played games, just laid there and relaxed and someone even tried to let a toy dragon fly. There was a creek and a lot of paths to discover. That was a really nice day. Bye |

Hello there,
a new Toyvoager arrived today. We welcomed her this evening. Lancel is with us now. Love little T.B. |
Susie's Posted Oct 26, 2012, 7:28 pm |
Mom made some Halloween Costumes for us.
I am a pumpkin and a Santa Clause. Klöver got a Springroll costume. But I think that there was some kind of ah uh misunderstanding. Karlos is a classical ghost and a scottish guy. Lancel is an easter egg and a cloud. Cloud number 9 (or was we say in Germany Wolke 7). Please check the Forum because we are all participate in the Halloween Costumes contest. Bye little T.B. |

Everyone was happy that I brought so delicious candy with me Today in the morning we took a first photo. I hope tomorrow we will find more time to take some photos. Bye little T.B. |

Hi Mummy,
we had very bad weather this week, only today it was a bit better. We took a walk to my host's daughter in the early afternoon. There is a little park just in front of the housing complex where I am living at the moment. The city centre of Remscheid is situated on top of a hill. First we had to walk downhill that hill. There are allotment gardens along the steeper parts of the terrain. Remscheid is an old industrial town, so you can often find historic factory buildings among dwellings. Later it started to rain again, so we were not able to take a walk with Katja's daughter. Bye little T.B. |
olgamaus Posted Nov 10, 2012, 4:43 pm |
Hi Mummy,
today we met a friend to take a walk in the late morning. The forests are muddy from the rainy weather we had before, so we mostly walked along the streets, this time to the Southern parts of Remscheid. First I'll show you the station area. In the background you can see the city centre. We reached a district with lovely old houses and villas. To get back to "our" part of the city we went into the forest to cross a valley. Hidden in the valley you can find the home of a boy scout group. Almost home Bye little T.B. |
olgamaus Posted Nov 15, 2012, 8:16 am |
Hi Mummy,
the weather forecast promised great weather for today, so we decided to take a walk around Muengsten bridge, Germany's highest railway bridge. Muengsten bridge is connecting the cities of Remscheid and Solingen, crossing the valley of river Wupper. We walked through the forest, there are some playgrounds. Here we found those rocking sheep. It only took a short walk to reach the bridge, that means, one of the places where it is fixed to the slope of the valley. The bridge is 465 m long and 107 m tall at its highest point, built in late 19th century. Here you can see the bridge overspanning the valley, river Wupper underneath the bridge. The first houses of the district Burg came into sight. On the hill opposite of us Schloss Burg was visible, a medieval castle. This district was named after it. Burg is one of several historic districts of Solingen, also in the valley of river Wupper. To get back to the car we walked along the opposite bank of river Wupper, here was the last opportunity to cross the river. Our path went uphill and downhill, sometimes along steep rocks. We reached the bottom of the valley than. A leisure park was built under the bridge a few years ago. You can find a crazy golf course here, lawns with benches for relaxing, playgrounds for the kids and restaurants. This walk took us more than two hours, much more than we had expected Bye Little T.B. |

Hi Mummy,
I found out that my host can knit! I tried this thing on - seemed to be a perfect sweater. But no, my host told me that this was a sock. She promised to knit a sweater for me after finishing those socks. Bye Little T.B. |
olgamaus Posted Nov 18, 2012, 12:55 pm |
Hi Mummy,
we are having really ugly weather - it's cold and rainy - the perfect weather for doing nothing but knitting and watching a DVD. Katja made a sweater for me! A perfect sweater call for proper measurements. Katja made good progress and soon I could try on the sweater although it was not finished yet. Now I am prepared for the coming winter. Bye Little T.B. |
olgamaus Posted Nov 20, 2012, 10:13 am |
Hi Mummy,
we are having fantastic weather today, so we took a walk to the municipal park in the afternoon. We came along a large playground. This is the police headquarter, close to the park. There is a pond with ducks and turtles in the park. The municipal park is more or less a landscape park with really old trees. An observatory is also situated in the park. This memorial is dedicated to the dead of several wars earlier than WW I. Is is placed in a rose garden. Of course there is not a single blooming rose left in November. A nursery is also situated in the park, a training company for young people with a poor school diploma or even without any diploma. Now as it became darker it also became cold, so we hurried home. Bye Little T.B. |

The grandmother of my hostmum Claudia invited us for lunch. We went to her by car.. It was snowing during the previous night so it was a bit dangerous to drive but Claudia did it well We had a typical austria dish: roast pork, sauerkraut, dumpling and roasted potato mmh delicious After the lunch we took a walk through the small village Fischbach. Fischbach has about 1600 inhabitants and is 1050m above sea level. This is a typical austrian "restaurant". It's name is Kirchenwirt. Hello!
Today I arrived in Lemgo, wonderful city but very bad weather. I'm looking forward to visit California next month. Sun, burgers und many fun and great adventures... I hope it will be a great and wonderful journey. My first contact was a big tree in the living room, where I feel like I am at home in the jungle. After that I met two other TVs, HG and Sam and we first start a little private Party. |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 22, 2013, 5:37 pm |
Today I had the opportunity to have a look on all the great things I will visit in California in two weeks. There are so many books and Road Guides here...
But the best thing is, that I get some pocket money for my own. Nearly 400$, that would be a very nice trip over th |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 22, 2013, 5:48 pm |
Today was the day, the journey started at the airport in Düsseldorf. It was a very long flight to Chicago and after that to San Francisco.
The first thing I saw in SF was a quite crude bedside lamp in the hotel. |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 22, 2013, 5:53 pm |
Hi Mum,
today it was a very exciting day....Sightseeing in San Francisco with my new friends. We have seen so many things, it was amazing. The Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Cars..... |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 22, 2013, 6:07 pm |
Alcatraz was a great experience to see all these cells and hearing so much about the prisoners in the past. I am very relieved that they did not catch me in the past.
After auch trip to Alcatraz, we spent some time in the city of SF and visit more things. |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 22, 2013, 6:14 pm |
Yeah, today we left SF after renting a Jeep and went north to Fort Bragg |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 22, 2013, 6:18 pm |
Fort Bragg was a very boring town, but they have a Skunk Train. With this train we went through the Redwood Empire visiting and watching very big trees - Redwoods
They are so tall, that often you cannot see the top of these monsters... |
Schlafschaf Posted Aug 24, 2013, 9:10 am |
The next days we travelled through the country and stopped in many different places. Oroville, Whiskeytown, Lava Beds, Lassen Volcanic, Lake Tahoe....
And we had a special event in South Lake Tahoe. Using a laundry was much fun and very crude. |

Today I went to Switzerland with my Host and my Tv -friends. We went there because of a store called "Brockenhaus" or "Brocki".It is like a second hand store, where people just bring their stuff and the store sells it. Often the store donate money for social purposes. My host always goes there, because she loves old things and sometimes she finds really really nice things. Today she bought many books, jewelry and decoration! Bye for now, little T.B :-) |

She is playing very often, and she also taught us how to play some songs! Now even I love to play the piano! |

Hi Mummy!
Today I arrived at Sneakysnail's house. She said I was a surprise, but a very nice surprise that made her smile. I think new hostmum must like surprises! I heard some voices and then someone opened my package and I climbed out. I brought out my present for hostmum from my last host and introduced myself to the other TV's who are staying here. I met NiliHH and Spotty and Dotty Wot. We talked for a while about all our travelling experiences and hostmum gave us each a small piece of her chocolate. She ate the rest herself! I think I'm going to have fun here and hopefully it will snow soon so that I can build a snowman and complete a life mission. That would be cool! Bye for now, more updates soon! Little T.B. |
sneakysnail Posted Jan 27, 2014, 9:31 pm |
Hi mum!
Today we stayed at home and played a board game because the weather outside was miserable. The game is called Pay Day and the aim is to make as much money as possible by buying and selling companies. There are also squares on the board where you win or lose money such as shopping sprees or donating to charity. I first of all helped to set up and then the game began. The others let me go first because I am the newest here. Moving around the board, I eventually landed on a letter space and had to pick up a card. Reading the card, I found out that I needed to donate some money to a charity. There were many businesses you could buy but my favourite was a bouncy castle company called 'Bounce Around'. I got to buy it and I hopped around on the table for a moment. In the end, it turned out that I had won the game! Spotty Wot came second, Dotty third and NiliHH last. NiliHH invented a fun challenge though. We had to balance our game tokens on our heads for as long as possible. I was not as good at that! Hostmum told me to tell you that she is having some internet problems and is sad because it means she can't update as often as she would like to. I'm sure it will be better soon. Love from Little T.B. |
sneakysnail Posted Feb 4, 2014, 6:55 pm |
Hello Mummy!
This is only a very short update today but hostmum says another, longer one will hopefully come in the next couple of days. She is being very mysterious and saying that we cannot do the activity she has planned for us until a friend of hers decides to help her! Anyway, today we were bored and so we took a look at hostmums book collection. There was a huge book filled with pictures and information about animals. We decided to look through that all together. I read all about bears (seeing as I am one) and found out lots of interesting facts. Bears like to eat salmon a lot and I asked hostmum if I could try some. Turns out, she doesn't eat salmon so she got me a spoonful of honey instead. Apparently bears like that too, although the book did not mention it. Bye for now, another update is on its way soon! Love from Little T.B |

Hello mum.
Today was a good day! Hostmum set us all a challenge. To find Merlin her large cat! We had to look all around the house, she promised he was inside somewhere. Starting by looking for him near his toy, we found nothing, not even any clues. The toy mouse was fun to chat to though. She gets quite a battering from big old Merlin apparently! Next, we moved on to his favourite mat in the kitchen. He wasn't there either but as we were in the kitchen, hostmum made us each a sandwich to keep us going! I suggested we look around the cushions, I've seen him sitting there before from a distance. He was not here either but The WotWots found a clue. A tuft of fluff from Merlin! Feeling re-inspired we went to search the radiator. Whilst looking there, I got very comfy and we all decided we had earned a nap so we settled down on the warm towel draped over the radiator. Once we had slept for a while, hostmum woke us up and gave us a couple of suggestions of what to do next. NiliHH and I went to ask Nibbles the rabbit if he had seen anything whilst we were snoozing. He hadn't but it was fun getting to know him anyway, he let me stroke his velvet nose. Following hostmums suggestion we went to see if Merlin was on the bed but he was not, there was more fluff though! The next place we searched was his night time chair and the blanket on it. Still nothing but loads of cat fur. It made me sneeze! FINALLY! we found Merlin, hours later, amongst some cushions we hadn't searched! He was blending in too well, we could not see him! We all went to speak to him and he nuzzled my face. I think he liked me. Just then he rolled over and covered his face, how funny! At least we found him in the end, I liked him very much! Bye for now, Little T.B. |

Hi there mummy.
A new friend arrived today in a white box with a mermaid sticker on it. As we approached the box to open it, a duckling popped out shouting "HELLO!" It was Nathalie who has just arrived here from Germany. She unpacked her things and I welcomed her. She has brought with her a jigsaw puzzle. We asked her lots of questions about the puzzle and she decided to get it out and let us build it! The picture features two ducks which are cute. It was only a small puzzle and we completed it fast working nicely as a team. After that we talked for a while about all our adventures and our goals and stuff. Soon it was bedtime and we all squeezed into the bed just about! Hostmum says she may need to find a new TV bed for us all! Yours, Little T.B. |
sneakysnail Posted Feb 12, 2014, 3:06 pm |
Hello Mum,
Today hostmum took us 10 pin bowling! Before we could begin bowling hostmum had to put on some silly shoes that made her look funny. Apparently it is to protect the floors but I think that the people who run the bowling alley just like to laugh at people in funny shoes! Once bowling begun, we realised just how heavy the balls were. I couldn't push mine down the lane and had to call over my friends for help. Three of us put together could just about move the ball. Once it got onto the shiny floor it kind of took itself so that was helpful. We played three games of bowling and then we went to the arcade. I pushed NiliHH around on the air hockey table with Nathalie. She was laughing so loudly as she spun around! I had lots of fun today. Yours Little T.B. |

Hello Mum.
Gigi Giraffe, a new toy, has arrived with us today! She hopped out of her envelope and we all piled on top of her to give her a huge hug. We made a huge bundle of toys and it was great fun! I think she was a little shocked though! Once she had stopped laughing, she unpacked her envelope and there were some sweets inside. She handed one out to everybody, the perfect number for one each! I got the orange one which I thoroughly enjoyed whilst listening to Gigi tell us about her travels. Bye for Now, Little T.B. |

Hello mummy!
We went to London today on the train! We had a trail to follow where you had to find clues and solve a pretend murder. First we walked down the hill to the train station and hopped aboard the first train. It only took us half the way there and so we had to get off and jump onto a different train. The trains were very busy and there wasn't space to do photos. Once we were there I had a look around and saw this pretty water display. Some ducks were paddling amongst the fountains! Then we started the trail and came to a big colourful bridge. Underneath the bridge you can see a view of London, including the big, pointy building called The Shard. As we continued along the path, I found a big wheel artwork which was fun to climb on. Next we walked along a path and there was another nice view. This time it was the O2. It is used for music events and shows and has many yellow spikes on the outside. Soon I saw something interesting in the street. A huge red flower! As I approached it I noticed that it was not real. I climbed on it and used it as a slide! The trail finished nearby and we solved the murder! We then found another train station and hopped onto another train. Then we hopped off the train and onto another train. Then we hopped off of that train and out of a station near The tower of London. We didn't go inside but looking from the outside I could see how impressive it is. Next we walked over to Tower Bridge so NiliHH could complete her life mission. Lots of people were on the bridge and it was very busy. Hostmum popped me into her bag, for safety, and then I was magically back at hostmums house! Turns out I'd fallen asleep in the bag, there was no magic at all. It was an exciting day but very tiring. Yours, Little T.B. |

Hello mum.
Two of my new friends left for new adventures today. Mrs Fleece and NiliHH are leaving to see some new places. I said goodbye to them and helped them to get comfortable in their envelopes. Then hostmum sealed them up and went to put shoes on so she could take them to the post office. It is sad to see them go, but I know they will have great fun so I wasn't sad for long. One day I might meet them again, who knows? Bye for now, Little T.B. |

Hi Mum.
The WotWots left us today I said goodbye and wished them good luck with all of their future adventures, I know they will have a great time. Then hostmum took them off to the post office and sent them on. And then there were three... Only me, Gigi and Nathalie left here now. On a happier note, Spring is coming here in England! There are lots of pretty things around and I will show you photos soon. But, goodbye for now! Little T.B. |

Helloooo!
Today we went outside in the nice weather to look for signs of Spring! First we started in hostmums garden where we found some tiny buds on an acer tree. It will gave beautiful leaves when they come out. Next we saw a big tree with white blossom on it. It is a plum tree and when the blossom floats down it looks like snow! Near the blossom tree is hostmums pond and next to it I noticed a frog and a lizard. I went over to say hello, but they were only garden ornaments! Still, I liked them. As we walked back through the garden I saw a yellow flower and sniffed it. No particular smell but still nice! Then hostmum took us to her friends house. Her friend is a keen gardener and has loads of pretty flowers all over her garden. First we saw daffodils, they are a key symbol that spring is here! Hostmum always looks for the first daffodils of the year. She also looks for crocus flowers, and that's what I found next! These ones were nearly finished flowering but still had a little life left in them. Then we went to see a cluster of violets creeping across the ground. And then some pretty pansies. Hostmum loves pansies and so do I now! Just as we were heading back inside, I noticed a small pink flower in a wall basket. We went to have a look but hostmum did not know what it was called. Back inside, we met some new toys! They belong to hostmums friend and do not travel like us. The one in the t-shirt is Mike and the other meerkat is George. The chimp is simply called Chimp! They enjoyed listening to us tell them about our travels until we had to go home. Spring has sprung here in England! Yours Little. T.B. |

Hi mummy,
Hostmum has been busy redecorating her bedroom and so, not much has happened here. Yesterday her new curtains arrived and today we helped her put them up! First we unpacked them from the box and I took a look at the pattern. The packaging was fun to hide in, I could pretend to be a ghost. Then I went over to look at the tools and equipment hostmum had got out. It all looked okay and so we began! Next we had to prepare the curtains. I held a string whilst hostmum pulled the fabric to make pleats. After that we measured the pole and popped the rings onto it. My job was to slide them down the pole out of the way. Soon, everything was done and it was time to hang them on the wall. We all hopped up onto the steps and tried to reach, but even put together we were not tall enough. Hostmum managed to hang the curtains and we helped her to line them up perfectly. Once they were done, they looked great! Your (very helpful) Little. T.B. |

Hi mum,
These last couple of days I've had great fun. Yesterday hostmum set us off on an adventure in her garden. She gave us a tent, some food supplies, matches and a campfire and two blankets. She said that is all we would need for a night in the wild and that she would collect us in the morning. So, we went camping!! After we found a good spot, we put up the rather complicated tent. It took us a while to put it up and once it was finally done, we hopped in and tested it for comfort. Next it was time for food. I was ravenously hungry and tucked into the yummy treats hostmum had laid out. The plate was great for camping too! As we were eating, a large lion approached us! That is what happens when you camp in the wilderness. It soon settled down to sleep in the sun and we were able to eat, play and chat without fear of being eaten. Everyone put me in charge of keeping the food safe from predators and I kept lookout. I watched out for interesting creatures from the wild but no zebras or bears ever came by. During my time as food guard, I got hungry and ate quite a bit. The others were annoyed because I'd eaten most of our food. As night came we settled by the camp fir and told stories. Some were spooky stories but others were nice. Of course, I was not scared at all. Brave explorers who face lions do not get frightened by silly stories. It got later and we all got tired and went to bed. When morning came, I woke up first and did a quick check for lions. None around but the fire had gone out. I was going to light another but it wasn't really cold enough. The sky was a beautiful blue without a cloud in sight and sunshine was beating down on us all. Time flies when you're having adventures and soon hostmum came to collect us. Sadly our camping trip was over but I told hostmum how much I'd enjoyed it. She said I could maybe go camping again, perhaps on my own. I wasn't too keen on going alone. No, of course I'm not scared, it's just... ... every explorer needs a companion, right? he he... Bye for now, your brave explorer Litlle.T.B. |

Hello mum,
Today we went to the local library so we could learn some things. There was a funny book stand shaped like a big green dinosaur and I searched on it for a book to read. There was a book about a bear and I thought he looked a little bit like me! In the library they had about a million seats! I saw a tiny one for little kids and a big round one which is odd. It was very comfortable for us but hostmum struggled to squeeze inside it! Looking around I saw a lake mural, made of paper, stuck on the wall. We took a closer look at it. Then we went back to reading and we saw an exciting book about animals. Hostmum read it with us and she loved the page with snails on! Before we left the library we had a brief look at the section on countries. Lots of books were about places I've been! Bye for now, Little. T.B. |

Hi mum,
The weather here in England is very strange. One moment it is lovely and sunny, and the next it's all cold and frosty again! Hostmum says we might get another cold spell. Though, she also says that the weather forecasting people probably don't know what's going to happen, they're just guessing. When she said that, it made me laugh. Anyway, weird weather or not, we had to say goodbye to Gigi today. She is going to Germany on adventures. I said goodbye and gave her a hug and then we helped her get comfy in her package. Just Nathalie and me now. Yours Little T.B. |

Hello Mum,
Today is mothers day and it makes me a little sad that I am not with my mummy. I still wish you the best Mothers Day ever! Although, I know it could never be the best mothers day without me!... I made you an e-card type thingy with hostmum. She took my photo and let me decorate it on the computer. I hope you like it! Nathalie and me also worked hard making a card for hostmum. I gathered pink and purple card (very mothers day-ish) and cut some flowers out. Then I stuck them to the card and wrote the greeting. When we gave it to hostmum she was very surprised and put it straight up on the shelf. Unfortunately we couldn't take a photo because she was too fast! Glad she liked it! Hope you enjoyed mothers day. Love Little T.B. |

Hi mum.
Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I didn't realise how long it had been! Today hostmum had lots of jobs to do around the house and so I helped her get them all done. First, I had to prepare some cleaning things and soapy water for her. This job was too messy for Nathalie and me so we went off and did some vacuuming. I was in charge of the nozzle and had to gather up the bits from on the rug. When we'd finished hostmum congratulated us on how tidy it looked, she said we did it better than her! I wasn't too enthusiastic when she said we could do it all the time for her! Cleaning the table was next and I rubbed the polish into the wood. It smelt really nice and when I was done, the table was all shiny and slippery. (good fun to slide around on!) After I was done playing on the nice shiny table I popped outside to find hostmum doing some gardening. In her vegetable patch she gets lots of tiny weeds that grow every day. I offered to help her pull them up and she found me a fork. Look at how many naughty weeds I pulled! Hostmum was impressed with our cleaning and she promises there will be a nice treat for us in the next week or so! I'm looking forward to it. Yours, Little T.B. |

Hello mum,
Yesterday we welcomed a new friend to Sneakysnails house. It is Freya, the adorable dragonfly! She hopped out of her envelope and I introduced myself. Then I helped her to unpack her things. We all spent the rest of the day talking and telling jokes to each other. Yours, Little.T.B. |

Hi there.
Today we went for a walk in the forest near hostmums house. It is looking extra green at the moment because of the new spring leaves. In the forest I saw a couple of patches of flowers. There were some lovely bluebells and we went to sit amongst them. Hostmum tells us that they are becoming rarer here and we are lucky to see some today. There were also some white flowers. They seemed very similar to the bluebells and hostmum called them white-bells. She's not sure of their real name though. A nice surprise was hidden in the forest. A swing! Someone has made it from rope and a bendy log. It hangs from a large tree and we went to play on it. Hostmum had a go too! Once we were done playing, we walked on. I spotted a tree with a nook in its trunk and went to investigate. It made a nice sitting place. Then we moved on until we reached Highams lake. There is a nice path around the lake but we didn't take that route today. In front of the lake was a rounded tree with long branches. I hopped into it and soon the others followed me. From this high branch, we saw a sign and went to peek at it. On the sign was a lot of writing and history. I read about the Scots Pine tree. I looked around me and I think I saw a couple in the forest. On the way back, we came to a blockage in our path. A giant tree branch had fallen and blocked the way. At first I thought it was a whole tree it was so big! We climbed onto it so you'd have a guide to how big it was. Can you see me on the branch? Later on I found the bottom half of a snapped tree. It seems lots of trees fell during the wind and storms earlier this year. Soon I came to a spikey holly bush and climbed onto it very carefully. I did not want a prickle in my bottom and so I was very still and asked hostmum for a hand down. As we neared home we came to two little houses in the middle of the forest. They were very nice and hostmum wishes she lived there. We soon started to get tired and had to rest on a mossy log. There were a couple of hills and then we were home again. What a nice, refreshing walk that was. Yours Little. T. B. |

Hi mum.
Do you remember the other day I helped hostmum clean and she promised us a treat? Well today we got our treat! It is Easter sunday and so hostmum set up an easter egg hunt around her house. There were eight small eggs and one giant one to find and I began by searching the sofa. Soon enough, hidden behind a blanket, I found my first egg! A blue one with a cola sweet inside! Then I continued searching and moved to the coffee table. There are many candles and holders on this table (plus one scary one) and amongst them an egg was hiding! Inside was another cola sweet which I gladly ate before continuing my search. I ended up in the kitchen. Looking around I saw something shiny inside a mug and climbed up the cup rack to get a closer look. After some clever investigating (and careful jumping) I got myself another egg. Inside this one was an egg shaped sweet. I stopped briefly to laugh at that. Over my laughing I could here Nathalie shouting for us to go to her. I went immediately in case she needed a brave hero to rescue her. She did not need rescuing for she had found the giant egg hidden in a plant pot! We got it out, opened it up and enjoyed our treats from inside. After all that egg hunting I was tired and took a nap. I dreamt about being a brave prince... Yours, Little T.B. |

Hello mum!
Today was a sad day. We had to say goodbye to Nathalie, she is going home. Before she left we posed for a commemorative photo. Three great friends! We all had a big hug before she hopped into her envelope and we waved goodbye. As hostmum took her to the post office, I had a tear in my eye, Nathalie was such a good friend here. Hopefully I will meet her again someday. Yours, Little T.B. |

Hello there mum!
Today we baked some cakes at hostmum's friend's house. We firstly looked at the recipe for three-colour sponge and got out all of the ingredients. And then the fun began! I mixed together sugar and butter in a big bowl and then weighed out the flour. I was very careful with the flour so as I did not fall in and bet all covered in dust like a ghost! Once the mixture was done, we separated it into three bowls so we could add the flavours to make them different colours. I added cocoa to mine which made it brown and chocolatey. The other two had vanilla and raspberry in them. We put the mixes into three tins and hostmum popped them into the oven. We set about making some more cakes. This time they were fairy cakes with cherries and coconut. I browsed the recipe and let Freya do the mixing as I mixed the other cake. Meanwhile I was putting the little cake cases into trays. Somehow, (I have absolutely no clue how it got there), one of the cases made it onto my head and made a very good hat for me! I think it suited me rather well but hostmum made me take it off so I could put mixture into it. I suppose a cake is better than a paper hat. These cakes went into the oven and soon after, the first cakes were done cooking. We tipped them out and stuck the layers together with jam. My paws got a little sticky but hostmum helped me wash them. I finished the cake off with a dash of icing sugar and by the time I was done, the other cakes were ready! Look at the lovely cakes we made! All that baking had created a lot of washing up. We let hostmum and her friend do that part. Yours, Little. T.B. |

Hi mummy.
Hostmum had a small guest visiting her today and she went to get out some of her old toys. She set them all up in her spare room and then I went to take a look. There were so many! I did not expect a whole room to be filled up with toys! It was fabulous. Before the small guest arrived, Freya and I took a visit to the Playmobil zoo. I went to visit the lions but found they were attacking some visitors! I was shocked and jumped in to save the day. (I'm such a brave hero) I rescued all of the people and they thanked me. From a distance I could see an awesome looking island. I went to walk over to it but a man in a boat stopped me. Apparently there was a really deep river there and I had to take the boat across. It just looked like carpet to me but I climbed into his boat anyway and went across to the island. On the island were some mean crocodiles who tried to eat me! I fearlessly battled them but they never gave up. I had to climb a tall tree to escape. But then I was stuck up the tree. I had to call Freya over to get me down. It is so lucky that she has wings. When she had got me down safely and away from the mean crocodiles, she asked me to help with a presentation. She had decided to put on a show to all of the Playmobil people about our travelling and adventures. I thought it was a great idea and we went to the talks area. Lots of people came to watch and it was great to see everyone was so interested in us. We got a big applause at the end. Then it was time for us to make a quick exit from the zoo. The small guest had arrived! I loved my visit to the zoo, and I feel great about saving some peoples lives. Bye for now. Little Teddy Bear |

Hi mummy!
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while, hostmum has been very busy with studying for exams and things. It's nearly over and, when it is, there'll be lots more time for updating! Today we visited a park with lots of squirrels. They are tame and hostmum brought some peanuts for them to eat. Freya and I waited on the grass with some nuts until the squirrels came. Then one came along... and another... and another... and then they all came at once! All three! We were surrounded but luckily they wanted the nuts and not us! The peanut supply got used up very quickly with so many hungry squirrels around and we took a stroll in the park. I saw a patch of beautiful flower bushes in the distance. I loved how all the flowers were different colours but they complemented one another so well. Nearby was the lake and there were lots of ducks swimming about on it with their babies. There was also a pretty goose grazing on the grass and we went to meet him. He was so very beautiful and with great colours on his feathers. As we were leaving the park we passed the nature conservation area which has a stag beetle log pile. I read the information on the sign and took a look at the log pile. I wonder if any beetles are living there? I hope so, they are very endangered. Bye for now, more soon. Little T.B. |

Hello mum!
Today I went outside with Freya to look at some of the things hostmum is growing in her garden. I came to this fig tree and sat amongst the leaves. It is not growing any figs at the moment though. Hostmum is not sure if it will grow any at all this year. Next I came across a blackberry bush with no thorns. It is odd because all of the ones in the forest have thorns. Hostmum told me that it is a special cultivated breed and that it is preparing to grow fruits soon with these pretty white flowers. Here I climbed a tree to get a closer look at some sloe berries growing up high. These turn dark blue and hostmum picks them before they fall into her pond. She makes things out of them like jam...or gin. Upon a blackcurrant bush there were lots of green berries waiting to be ripe. They taste wonderful and hostmum gives them to a friend who turns them into delicious jam. It is good on toast apparently but hostmum wont let me try any. She says I might get sticky. Next to the blackcurrants are a few raspberries. They are flowering and there will soon be raspberries to pick and put into ice cream or cakes. On the ground there is a little strawberry patch with plenty of almost ripe strawberries. Freya tried to wear one on her head and I laughed lots. In fact, I laughed so much that I fell over backwards into the patch of strawberries. This made Freya laugh. I came to a rhubarb plant, easily recognisable by its pink stems. It is very nice when boiled and I went down to look at the stems. When hostmum showed me the photo, I thought it looked like the plant was eating me! Do you see it too mum? In an old wheelbarrow are some big potatoes growing well. The plant is very big and hostmum is hoping that the potatoes will be too. She won't have to wait long to find out, they are almost ready to dig up. High up in the neighbours plum tree which overhangs into hostmums garden are many green plums. They will soon turn red and ripen. The bird like to eat these... but so do the wasps. Hostmum is growing lots of tasty things in her garden and I hope she will share some with me when they are ripe! Yours, Little.T.B. |

Hi mummy!
Today something very exciting happened! The Tour de France is going on at the moment and today the route passed the end of hostmums road! Of course we couldn't miss an opportunity to watch such an amazing thing and so we went out to watch, alongside lots of other people. We waited a long time for anything to happen and hostmum kept checking on the television to see when the bicycles were getting near. Firstly some cars came past with advertisements and promotional items. They played loud music and got the audience shouting and cheering. Then a few of the bikes came along...then all the rest came at once! There were lots of bikes but they were gone in an instant. I was very excited and cheered loudly for the cyclists. Once the bikes had gone past, we went back inside to watch it on the telly. Not far down the road, one of the bikes crashed into someone who was watching! Oh dear! Luckily both the person and the cyclist were alright and soon the cyclist was back on his way. Yours, Little Teddy Bear. |

Hi friends,
it's me little T. B. Haven't been around for a while. So I thought it's time for an update. Today mom had to go to work and I came with her. Of course I was a good boy and "helped" mom by operating the computer, answering calls, doing paperwork and pushing some buttons . After all that hard work it was time for some snacks and to play a little. |

On day 3 in the Alps I was the one that got to go with mum.
This time she went up the mountain Imberg by a mountain-cabin-cable railway. And this time she made the wise decision to take that railway also back down again. |

I was there too (with mom and my tv siblings) at that very famous sight.
The Neuschwanstein Castle. It was quite exhausting to get up to that castle. But it’s totally worth it. Because the Neuschwanstein castle is very beautiful and you have breathtaking view. |
