Finding Nemo 3D is the best movie ever.....duuddee I've got no prejudice at all considering I'm in it! I got some pictures from the movie. Another cool movie to possibly see when it comes out! =) Movie Night was fun.....Now off to see the rest of my city! Djali Posted Nov 12, 2012, 6:42 pm	Hello Mommy! Today I finally arrived in Vienna and was really anxious to get out of my dark envelop! And as every other toyvoyager, that arrived at Djali's place, I had to undergo the inspection of the curious black cat. I was a little scared, but it seemed, that the kitty was a bit scared to at the beginning!  Well, I think, she has never before seen a turtle! But I'm sure we will get along quite well! Then, Djali showed me a map of Vienna. It's bigger than I thought it would be. And on this map there are sooo many small streets! I'm really looking forward to see something of the city!! But for today it's too late and dark outside. Djali told me, that there are many nice places to visit here!  Good night for today, mommy! Take care! Little Squirt
Djali Posted Nov 24, 2012, 4:09 pm	Hey Mum! Yesterday after work, my host-mum took me to Schoenbrunn palace! Wow! I really like the building, it's so beautiful!  As it was already getting dark, the whole palace was illuminated. It really looked nice, but it was hard to take some good pics... We also visited the large park around the palace. Now in winter it doesn't look that great...but it will be really beautiful in spring, when everything is green and full of colorful flowers! Here's me in front of some nice vases which decorate the park: This is the entrance to a little theater, where children can watch "The Magic Flute" and other well known stories performed by marionettes Every year there is a nice "Christkindlmark" in front of the palace before Christmas. It's a tradtional christmas market, with lots of sweets, tradition handycraft and art. Sadly, it has not yet opend. But the already set up the Christmas tree in front of the palace! Have a nice day! Djali Posted Dec 4, 2012, 6:38 pm	Hi Mum! Here are some new pictures of me in Vienna!  Last weekend, Djali showed me the other big palace in the city, the Belvedere castle. Wow! "Bel vedere" means "nice view". A good name for this palace. In earlier times, when there were no  big buildings around it surely had a beautiful view over the city because it stands on a small hill. In the small huts you can see on this pictures there is another of the traditional christmas markets. But this one is really expensive! Djali likes to take pictures of statues - so there are 2 with me and the impressive old statues: On the way out of the palace court we found this strange door stopper: It's getting really cold here in Vienna, but we did not have any snow yet. Djali Posted Dec 16, 2012, 4:26 pm	Hello Mummy! Yesterday, my host-mum and a friend of her took me to the planetarium in Vienna. They watched a projection of the stars and the zodiac signs - it was really interesting. But inside it was too dark to take photos. So, here's me in front of the planetarium: There is a huge globe in front of the planetarium You can walk up the stairs and watch the world from above!  Here's me in front of South America! Are there turtles in South America? I think: yes!  The planetarium stands in a park with some nice statues. I like this one best: a woman looking up at the stars Good night mummy, LittleSquirt

fleursmum Posted Jun 29, 2013, 9:43 am	We stopped on the road side to look at these signs - one tells us about an earthquake that happened here, the other about the Long Paddock. The Long Paddock refers to the area on the side of the road , where many years ago farmers were allowed to bring their cattle to the road sides to feed The Long paddock was used in times of drought. Today I realised I have achieved another LIFE MISSION When we go to the beach here, the water we are looking at is the Pacific Ocean!!! So I have seen an OCEAN!!!  YAY!!!! we crossed this creek on the way to the beach, it is a bit flooded from all the rain coming out at the beach......behind me is the OCEAN!! We are heading off for a walk along the beach we are at Safety Beach looking along the beach to Woolgoolga, we are going to walk the opposite direction we found an interesting tree growing in the sand we have come to the end of the beach so we sat for a while before heading back. in the afternoon we went to Woolgoolga Heads to look for whales - they are supposed to be swimming past at this time of the year but sadly we didn't see any. fleursmum Posted Jul 4, 2013, 9:17 am	Hey Mum, This afternoon we have driven down the coast to Coff's Harbour - we went out on the headland to try and spot a whale, but we had no luck! On the way home we stopped at a local tourist attraction - the Big Banana and had a photo with the Big Banana!!  How is this for a bunch of bananas Mum?? Love and hugs Little Squirt xxooxx

fleursmum Posted Jul 9, 2013, 9:36 am	Hi Mum, This afternoon we drove through Cowra - there was a prisoner of war camp here in Cowra during WW2 and there was a break out by the Japanese prisoners. The camp was taken apart after the war so not much remains, a guard tower has been rebuilt at the site as a memorial Love and hugs Little Squirt xxooxx

fleursmum Posted Aug 11, 2013, 6:19 am	Hi Mum, Today we went to a book crossing meet up we went along the Calder freeway down the Bulla Road - there is a narrow bridge here but it missed the photo! we stopped in Bulla for petrol and refreshments out on to the Tullamarine Freeway and here we are at the Green Sage Cafe - there are lots of books looking for new homes here home along the Tullamarine Freeway the Calder Freeway and at the top of the rise here, we turn right and we are home! fleursmum Posted Sep 5, 2013, 2:17 am	Hi Mum, Today we drove across the city to visit family and on the way got some photos as we were passing the centre of Melbourne off down the Tullamarine Freeway approaching the city you can see a big wheel thing....that has been years in the building, it was nearly finished and then the metal was found to be stressed so it had to be pulled apart and built again! here I go over the Bolte Bridge now we have curved around to the left and coming along the southern side of the city and now through the tunnel to get to the freeway to take us further to the south. fleursmum Posted Sep 5, 2013, 2:33 am	Hey Mum, We are omn our way tot he beach today and have stopped to look at the bollards They tell the history of the Geelong area and there are over 100 of them - they are made from reclaimed timber pier pylons! Hee Hee cheeky life saver!! years ago swimming used to be segregated - men in one area women in another! here is a family group having a day out at the beach.  waling back we saw a banjo shark in the water, but the photo didn't come out very well. So off to the polling place we go, today it was at the Gisborne Primary School not too much advertising at the gate and here is the paper work...green form filled out 1 - 9 the white form if HUGE...you can put in one number for the party you choose on the top row or number from 1 - ? on the bottom section! fleursmum Posted Sep 8, 2013, 4:08 am	Hi Mum, Today we took the dog for a walk in the park,, we went through the Botanic Gardens,which are very new and have lots of New Zealand plants, as Gisborne used to be the sister city of Gisborne in New Zealand. some of the wattle is still in flower this is the kowhai tree - a native from New Zealand that has these yellow flowers in the spring, they have bird attracting nectar in them. There is a tower and towers are for climbing...actually I am going to sit in the travel bag  half way up the tower...the road below is supposed to be a fire break but when there is a really bad fire it really isn't wide enough! There was lots of talking and laughing - to be honest I don't think much sewing was done!!  nice stitchery here Mum! On the way home we passed a chicken farm these chickens were out the front!! fleursmum Posted Sep 26, 2013, 9:32 am	Hi Mum, Today we are at the Ballarat Wildlife Park to meet some real Australians! here are two gray kangaroos - these kangaroos come from Kangaroo Island which is off South Australia and they are happy around people, they like to be fed and patted. and this is a little girl koala and down by the water is a Tasmanian Devil - they got their name from the early settlers who could hear them scream and seee jst the red tips of their ears in the bush - they must have been frightening to hear. some koalas resting mmmmmm....kisses!!  we had a little sit where the kangaroos were resting down the back we found an emu and then we saw a wombat - she is 28kg!! She is usually asleep at this time of the day but was woken up for the tour - then she wanted to go for a walk! we had a little chat through the fence! some more emus one of my kind Mum  not Australian though!! fleursmum Posted Sep 29, 2013, 9:04 am	Hi Mum, Today we up in the Dandenong Ranges - on the opposite side of the city to where Sue lives to have a look at Tesslaars Tulip Farm - they have a festival here this time each year when the tulips are in flower there are acres of tulips, there are lots of interesting sculptures around the tulips and some information stands we even found a little windmill house for us!! fleursmum Posted Oct 11, 2013, 10:30 pm	Hi Mum, Today we went to Romsey to walk the walking track from the town of Romsey to the town of Lancefield. The whole track is 16km, but today we walked for 3km then turned around and came back. The start of the track has trees planted both sides as a memorial to the men and women who lost their lives in the wars. Here we go! this is one of the old houses at the edge of town we found this nice sign at the local playground now we are driving home up over Mount Macedon the road here is narrow and windy and down the other side! fleursmum Posted Oct 13, 2013, 11:00 pm	Hi Mum Today was a baking day because Sue has to take something for morning tea to work tomorrow. Tomorrow is known as Fat Friday and there is always a good morning tea. we are mixing up and mashing for a banana loaf ready for the oven now we are mixing up for a ginger crunch slice in goes the butter and out of the oven comes the banana loaf...smells wonderful!  here is a cherry ripe slice ready for the melted chocolate to be poured on ready to go in the fridge dinner is underway - vege lasagne and meat lasagne  pasta, cheese sauce and grated cheese added and ready for the oven dinner time!!!  Yay!!! fleursmum Posted Oct 26, 2013, 6:30 am	Hi Mum, Today we are visiting Sue's friend and we have come to a Sustainability Festival at Rowville. First we found this collection of bicycles - not so easy to ride some of them!!  We saw some Australian animals but it was hard to take photos, so here we are having lunch!! We had Indian food, tomato relish, with biriani (spicy rice) and some veges cut up small, coated with chick pea flour and deep fried! Yum! I might have seconds!!  Love and hugs Little Squirt xxooxx

fleursmum Posted Oct 31, 2013, 2:29 am	Hi Mum, Today we are out in the garden the red climbing rose is in flower now and smells lovely the clematis is in flower too this is where Sue has been clearing the garden and this is where she was going to do some more work but she saw a copper head snake near the tree stump so decided to come inside. When I went over to look the snake has vanished from sight! Phew!! Inside I had a look at the pastel painting Sue's husband is working on. Love and hugs Little Squirt xxooxx

It was an exciting time....he flew around outside.....got stuck up a tree  but luckily was saved...Phew!!! He flew by to see if I wanted to have a go, but sadly I was too heavy, so I just had to watch it looked like fun though!! fleursmum Posted Nov 21, 2013, 6:20 am	Hey Mum, Today we went to the Ballarat Wildlife Park to help Squab achieve a life mission! here we are at the kangaroo rest area! Squab got to have lots of kangaroo experiences! we got to see the koala's, even the baby on the mother's back!  I met a Tasmanian Tiger (luckily a toy) he is thinking of becoming a toy voyager! here we can see the resting kangaroos, the wedge tailed eagles in the aviary and the emu. fleursmum Posted Feb 1, 2014, 12:33 am	Hi Mum, We had another walk through Ferguson Park this evening, it had been a windy and rainy day today someone is out fishing the tide is way out and he is standing on the edge of the boat channel over behind me is Mount Maunganui, or Mauao as it is now known, it is an extinct volcano at the end of the surf beach, and in the distance is the Port of Tauranga, where the big ships come in to unload containers and woodchips and where the cruise liners dock. fleursmum Posted Feb 1, 2014, 12:43 am	Hi Mum Today we are setting out to walk around Mount Manuganui...there is a walking track all the way around, you can also scramble up if you are feeling fit!!  Many people use the around track for their daily exercise. This is Pilot bay, the calm harbour side of the Mount a huge container ship on it's way in track is busy this morning this is the opening to the harbour, on the left side is Matakana Island out there it is the Pacific Ocean Mum!!  now we are getting around towards the surf beach we found a beach made entirely from shells! and here we are at the surf beach Mount Maunganui from where we parked the car! On our way home we saw this camper.....a very New Zealand camper!! And we saw a Maori canoe this one is used for ceremonial times and over the road we found some interesting information about the carvings nearby Off home for a rest now Mum Love and hugs Little Squirt. xxooxx
fleursmum Posted Feb 3, 2014, 8:29 am	Hi Mum, Today we had a look at an old Maori Pa down the road....it was a horse paddock but has been left to the city and is now a historical place of interest. there are carvings at the gate the raised areas where the gardens are used to be the fortifications the vies over the harbour was really good and good for defending the site. Battery_Star Posted Feb 6, 2014, 9:32 pm	Hi mum! I arrived in the United Kingdom today and was greeted by two great TVs, ThomasHH and Gabby. They were excited to hear all about my travels, Gabby especially who hasn't yet started her own travels. Later on, another envelope arrived with a Russian TV, Batyr in. The United Kingdom was their first destination and they were delighted to be in a new country. My new host, Niki took us to the next town over today, Dorchester. We were stuck up there for hours though because she got a flat tyre and we couldn't get back home until it was fixed! It's raining heavily here, and Niki tells me that the rain hasn't stopped in over a week. It definitely makes a change from the heat of Australia! It's also annoying, because it means we couldn't leave he car as Niki didn't want us getting wet. She's hopeful that the weather will get better for the weekend though, as she plans to take us sight seeing. When we got back home, we all made cakes to celebrate mine and Batyr's arrival. They came out well and were very tasty! Bye for now! Little Squirt
Battery_Star Posted Feb 9, 2014, 8:26 pm	Hi Mum! The weather ruined our plans again today. It was nice and sunny this morning, but once we were ready to go out it had started raining again. My host's town is experiencing lots of bad weather and has had severe flooding the past few days, but it is hopefully going to clear up next week sometime. So we stayed in and made pancakes! I got to help mix the batter They turned out really well. Niki showed me how to flip a pancake without it ending up on the ceiling or as a pile of mush in the pan. I had syrup and cream on mine. I said goodbye to Niki's own TV gabby today. Shes going on her first adventure to the Netherlands, i hope she has a good time! Bye for now! Little Squirt

Just a quick update as Niki was at school today and didn't see me and the other TVs being mischievous at home the sun was starting to set when Niki finally got home, but atleast it wasn't raining! Battery_Star Posted Feb 15, 2014, 5:08 pm	Hi mum! It was nice and sunny today, even if it was a little cold, so we decided to go out today. We walked into the town centre to meet Niki's mum who unfortunately had to work on this lovely day. We went through the peaceful cemetery, which was supposed to be out of bounds because some of the trees had fallen down in the storms, but Niki deemed it safe enough to walk through. While we walked through we saw a man taking pictures of a fallen tree, then cutting off a branch to keep as a souvenir! Niki said that i couldnt keep a bit of tree, as it would be too heavy for me to carry with me on my travels. Niki's mum works in a busy bank, so we had to wait a while to be able to see her. Next, we went to look in the charity shops where we found a cute toy in need of a good home. We bought him and Niki intends on helping him become a TV very soon. He's hoping to be able to call himself "Eliot". We then got in the car to go to Portland, which is an island connected to Niki's home town by a bridge. It has been closed off for the past couple of days as the road connecting Weymouth and Portland had been badly flooded. Portland was the host of the 2012 Olympic sailing events, so there are lots of olympic statues around. Sadly, we didn't get to see them but Niki promises that we will do soon, when its less windy and there isnt a chance i would blow away. However, all over England there are gold, silver and bronze coloured post boxes in the home towns of Olympic medallists so we managed to visit the one that was on Portland. Today, Niki took me and the other TVs on a day trip to the Sea Life Centre, which is a place where rescued sea animals who cannot be released back into the sea spend the rest of their days. She told us about how she used to go there all the time as a kid, and would always love it, so i was really looking forward to going. First we went into the Stingray enclosure. It was basically a big tank with various fish and stingrays in with an open top so you could see in. It also had a bridge over the top so you could see the whole tank from above. In the shark enclosure, they had large viewing bubbles that you could sit in, so here we are relaxing. i made friends with a shark! He was quite big, but he wasnt that scary. He just lazed around on the rocks watching the people go past. The baby sea horses were very cute! Did you know that the males carry the babies? Next we went outside to see the penguins! It was very dark inside, so it was nice to be back out in the sunshine! I also met some small turtles, that were my size! we became bestfriends almost instantly! Group picture before we enter the turtle tunnel! There were lots of species of fish in the tunnel alongside the turtles and the sharks. This turtle was huge! He swam straight over our heads, it was amazing! His shell is deformed where he was hit by a boat before being rescued, but he's fine now! Jellyfish! We had lots of hugs and threw him a going away party After saying our final goodbyes we helped him into his envelope But, just as we were taping up his envelope, a parcel arrived! What could it be? It was the WotWots! My new friends! I can't wait to show them around this weekend! Bye for now, Little squirt
Battery_Star Posted Mar 2, 2014, 5:27 pm	Hi mum! A new tv arrived today, Kermit. Niki is their first host, and I know he's going to love it here. We went to Puddletown woods today in the next town over. The name was very fitting today as it was raining And there were puddles everywhere. We couldn't go off the track as it was too muddy, but there was plenty of things on the track to take pictures on. Here I am on a log. Niki put a tissue down for me to sit on so I Didn't get too wet. There were lots of cut down trees there that had been turned into fences. Here I am In a tree! I'm pretty sure I'm the first turtle to ever climb a tree! Because of the bad weather that's been here lately, a lot of the trees have fallen down. We headed back after that as the rain got harder. We went home and watched a movie in front of the fire with hot chocolate! Bye for now, Little Squirt
Battery_Star Posted Mar 8, 2014, 9:31 pm	Hi mum! It was a lovely day today, so sunny and warm! We all bundled into the car and drove an hour or so up the coast to Lulworth cove! I also completed one of my life missions! I saw the sea! It was so beautiful,more so than I'd imagined! Lulworth is a village on the Jurassic Coast which stretches along the majority of Southern England. In the area there are a few heritage sites such as the cove (a large bay) and durdle door. Here I am with durdle door. Niki told me that durdle door is made when soft rock is eroded and the hard rock stays there. She also said there was another arch like this but the top had collapsed in and now it was just two stacks of rock. Bye for now! LittleSquirt
Battery_Star Posted Mar 23, 2014, 12:45 pm	Hi mum! It's such a lovely day today, so went out in the garden for a while. After lunch Niki is planning on taking me and the other TVs to the lighthouse, I can't wait! We set out a picnic blanket and enjoyed the sun. But suddenly, a dog appears! This is one of Niki's dogs, Sooty.. he's very friendly. We don't get to see the dogs very often as the last time they tried to steal us when Niki wasn't looking. Here we are sunbathing! The spring flowers have just started coming through, so here i am sat with some Daffodils and Tulips. Aren't they pretty? Stay tuned for another update after our outing. Little Squirt
Battery_Star Posted Mar 23, 2014, 5:40 pm	Road trip! After a long car ride, we ended up at Portland Bill. Can you see the people flying their kites behind us? It was very windy, despite the lovely weather. We struggled to walk to the end of the cliffs but we soon came to the lighthouse. Isn't it big? Sadly it doesn't open until the summer so we couldnt go inside and walk around. We then walked further along the cliffs to Pulpit Rock. There are small ledges on the side of the rock so you can climb to the top, but it's not really safe to do so. In the summer there are always people jumping off the top into the water below. We then went to the garden centre and bought lots of seeds to plant in the garden. Niki has the day off on Wednesday so she promised we can plant the seeds then. Bye for now, Little Squirt

Niki didn't have a whole lot planned so we helped her out in the garden while she planted seeds for the summer! Here i am putting mud in the pot to plant a sunflower! We planted loads of seeds today, including morning glory, pansys, pumpkins, cucumbers and so many more! She's going to have a beautiful garden once they've all grown. Here we all are with all the pots of seeds we planted. Niki has a lot of penpals around the world and also participates in 'Postcrossing' so we helped her write her cards, then had a lovely walk down to the post office to mail them! Bye for now! Anyway, on mothers day Niki volunteered to cook her mother lunch. We helped her make shallow fried chicken and a tomato pasta dish ( which everyone enjoyed) Her brother came to lunch too, which was nice. Niki and her mother enjoyed having the entire family around again. Bye for now! Little Squirt

As we were looking around we spotted life in our plant pots! During a brief stop in the rain Niki took us down into the garden to we could see the plants we potted already starting to grow! Battery_Star Posted Apr 8, 2014, 8:28 pm	Hi mum!, Us Tvs had a surprise in the mail today. It came in the form of a very squishy package which yelped when we poked it. We opened the package and out came Matcha! He was very grateful that we freed him, and he shared his cookies with us. It was also a sad day as we had to say goodbye to our dear friend Batyr. He's on his way to The Netherlands! How exciting! We gave him lots of hugs before we packed him into his cosy envelope. Bye for now, Little Squirt
